Arianna from Castoff.

Arianna is definitely one of my favorite characters from the webcomic, Castoff. I wanted to draw her magic and after a few sketches, this one ended up being the one I finished. If you haven’t heard of Castoff, it is an incredible webcomic series that you should definitely read, made by @thestarfishface ! Go check it out, this series is extremely underrated.

got some new books this week!

pictured left: Sonja Lang’s abridged Toki Pona translation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. reading it is still a bit difficult with my limited skills, but it’s cool to own a book written in sitelen pona! the art is super cute.

pictured right: Volume 1 of @thestarfishface’s webcomic Castoff! just got it a couple days ago. it’s a super nice book; the cover is high quality, including spot gloss, french folds, and shiny gold details (all thanks to the successful kickstarter), and the pages have great color and resolution. honestly one of the nicest books i own, it’s beautiful and i definitely hope there are more volumes to come!

I got a drawing tablet for Christmas and this is the first full drawing I made with it! Still getting used to it but I love being able to do the whole drawing process on my computer now! (I used to do the sketch on paper and trace+color on my tablet with ibispaint)

I’m a little late but happy Inktober 5th

The list I’m using is this so I’m sorry if you use a different one, also I’m allowing myself to use pencil underneath and I’m going to try for everyday but no promises. This is my first Inktober and I thought it fit with it being my first year on tumblr!
