I spend a lot of time thinking about daniil and peter, but something just clicked into place for me with andrey. so!

I am. currently untangling this thread of thoughts about the stamatin twins and daniil and this kind of. triangle that's happening. a three fold bullet for sure, the kind of recognition-awareness-understanding where three people become one, but to step back from that. when daniil and andrey talk, there's a specific shape of peter that stands in his conversational absence. so: triangle formation. it's opposite-adjacent-complementary to daniil and peter's conversations. it all goes back to that first conversation you have with andrey. it's giving knife. love it!

#bnha spoilers #mha spoilers #bnha leaks #bnha 419 #rambling followed by a tldr:#I’m sure he’ll get them back #either Eri rewinds him or Shigaraki unlocks the record struction part of his quirk which I saw some people theorizing #but yeah. Deku has faught physically as much as he possibly can. he has transferred all of OFA to Shigaraki and attampted to connect #with his mind. the boy once entrusted with the responsibility to destroy AFO now has to rely on others to finish this battle for him #unless the leaks are fake in which case carry on as usual #bc I also have gripes with him losing his arms #theres a lot of arm/hand imagery and symbolism in bnha #the all night I Am Here fist in the air #Katsuki’s whole hand holding thing #the recent thing about relief in reaching out to someone in need and them taking your hand #ffs the last few chapters Deku literally had to plow through shigaraki’s mutant finger chiton to get to his core.#his early recklessness resulting in permanent scarring and deformity in his hands as a reminder fight smarter not harder #and to adapt and be his own kind of hero and not keep trying to be an all might copy #I’m rambling but yeah. hands. losing them means losing some important symbolism but losing is also its own symbolism yknow?#TLDR #he’s gotta trust his fellow heroes to step in where he can’t but also if he doesn’t get to do a classic all might pose after all this istg #needs to accept he did everything in his power but also if he and Katsuki don’t finally take each others hands after this ISTG

In the wake of the IA situation, I've seen a lot more posts circulating about using your local library and I just. Sigh

#i dont know whether these people are thinking of Big City libraries #or their local is the most well stocked most accommodating library known to man #but my library consists of mostly kids books and ww2 skinned romance lites and james patterson thrillers #if youre lucky theres some pop history books on the tiny shelf in the back #oh also the opening times? 0930 to 1700 of course. yknow. when most ppl are at work :)#oh except sunday. when were just closed ;)#trying to get the library to bring in a specific book? sorry that'll be nine months and we'll send it to the library #in booksbury-upon-tyne which will cost you a £30 round train ticket (if the trains are running ;)) and a three hour journey #(cause were swr and life is a fucking nightmare)#im not doing that for a book im not even sure will be relevant to what im looking for yknow #i guess what im saying is that while i love the concept of libraries #they havent really evolved with the times. theyve been what theyve been for a millenia #and the intellectual value they were built to provide hasnt kept up with the funds theyre actually allocated #now i will say these are kinda complaints specific to me cause im not the biggest fiction reader #and if i am theyre mainly classics so my gripe is more with the proviso of non fiction books #and the variety of them which is incredibly narrow #and i dont drive so the intersection of this with the hellscape that is south englands public transport network also sucks dick and balls #like i realise the library provides a lot of necessary resources for older people and kids and those without internet access etc.#but that does leave a large swathe of people with little to no reason or time to visit the library yknow.#i dont blame the library workers of course but i also dont think its the visitors (customers?) fault #that there isnt a great incentive for them to visit #especially since i have found most of my fave nonfiction books in second hand stores #which would have either cost £80 new or would have been locked ina university library out of reach of the common folk #whatever. ramble ramble yada yada. ev complains again whats new

Whyyyy have I never watched classic Doctor Who before, it’s such a vibe

#i’m only on the first doctor but so far i’m finding this really bingeable #i think because the plot moves slowly and everyone enunciates really well (90% of the cast is probably ex-theatre actors)#so i can very easily knit while i watch and still understand what’s going on #will be continuing. partly because i want to get to peter davison’s doctor #he’s soooo fine for what #i literally was googling all the doctors to see what i’m in for and my mouth fell open at the fifth doctor #i’m afflicted with the ‘attracted to blond men’ disease unfortunately :(#tom baker is my mom’s favourite doctor so i’ll have to report back to her when i reach him. peter davison is a close second apparently #she did not like jon pertwee. david tennant was her third favourite #she can’t remember whether my dad’s favourite was the first or second doctor so obviously i have to start from the beginning obviously #and figure it out #i have decided this is all i will be doing from now on. this is what this winter will be. classic who & knitting a blanket #if i finish this blanket before i finish the shown (very probable) we start a new blanket and we move #*show #personal
