Re:So Below. I have many theories on where WH will go, but I think one of my favorites is that some vestige of the show, whether it be Wally or Home, is sending out these snippets to WHRP in a desperate attempt to revitalize the neighbors. Yaknow, in one of those 'the power of memory' things?
The inky grip of oblivion encasing the entire neighborhood outside of one lone window. Technically even Wally's in the dark, with only the light from homes gaze outlining him.
Either way, it's very interesting!
(context)
so i've been thinking a lot about this ask in tandem with this reply from @totallynotadoptingallofthelnkids on one of my posts:
Tumblr media
and for a while i couldn't really put my finger on Why, but then i realized i don't think i've ever talked about where i think we Are in welcome home's overarching narrative on this blog? i'm not talking about how much of WH we've seen - i know everything we have so far is just the prologue (or, part of the prologue?) it's more like...
... it's not a stretch of the imagination to say that we're probably starting in medias res, right? the content warnings page describes a story that centers the neighbors first and foremost, as their world falls apart around them - literally, figuratively, very likely some combination of the two. what we've seen of the prologue, though, is very much Not that; it's a research team trying to gather information about the show those puppets were from nearly 50 years after it last aired, ft. wally acting as the Bridge between these two aspects of the Overarching Narrative - and it's possible that other neighbors may follow suit, given some of the things that reply (and post) brings up.
i suppose the biggest question for me is whether the apparent Meat of the story (i.e. the puppet-centric part, the Prelude to our starting point with the WHRP in the same breath that it is the main event) will turn out to be the original four-year run of the show or the 50 years that have passed since its cancellation. was the show on a downward spiral since the day it began, or did things only begin to fall apart over the course of those 50 years with no human intervention given that puppets are made For The Sole Purpose of being used and perceived by humans? i think you can make a strong argument for either possibility - assuming they're even mutually exclusive, anyway.
all this to say: yeah, i think it is Reasonable to assume that wally, home, and/or the rest of the neighbors if not the entire town rely on being Perceived in order to continue existing; a blessing as much as it is a curse. and also to assume that everyone involved with the website (however many people that entails - wally, home, the WHRP, WHRP associates, possibly other neighbors, etc.) is banking Hard on this.

Aren't you tired of posting this comment every few days? There are other bands to stan out there if you dislike them so much, you know.
I’m tired of this type of comment, yes, but at this point, I’m just like “sure, what the hell.” I’m going to delete the ones like this that appear in my inbox from now on.

RE:So they didn't forget her completely. I now think that they just didn't include her in the other post because they only wanted to post current cast members. /////// Except Dylan ISN'T a current cast member and was in the original post so really they're just trying to cover them self after being downright shady. Let's be real people!
Yeah, I don't understand the need to try and defend them. I'm guessing it's whomever is running the twitter trying to be slick.

Thrifty!
There's something special about when you step into a second hand, vintage shop.... there is that musky smell and an air of mystery. I think to myself 'What on earth will I find today?' Every time you visit one of these quirky shops you find something different, I love finding unexpected treasures, like a beautiful old typewriter or a vintage camera or a dress that went out of fashion 40 years ago and has somehow made it back in....The beauty of the humble charity shop is you never know what you're going to find!
On Sunday I went upstairs in the Marlands (Southampton) to see Hannah at the RE:SO (a student run shop which sells handmade items from students and local crafts people as well as some gorgeous hand picked vintage attire) I left my collection of Tribal Turtle wire jewellery to be put on display and went for a stroll around the shops...
I didn't realise how much the Marlands has woken up since the last time I've been up there! (I hardly ever go shopping in town unless I specifically need something) The Bert's and Gert's vintage and craft fair was in full swing with people bustling around looking merry!
Just near the market  (upstairs) was a new shop called THE LOFT LADDER which was selling gorgeous sparkly Indian saris. When I got closer I noticed it was actually 3 shops in one! At the front they were selling Sari's / candles and further in was a section where a friendly man was selling second hand furniture and electronic gadgets. And at the back was gifts and jewellery.
Within a minute of stepping through the doors my eyes fell on this AWESOME dark wooden cabinet in the second hand section.... It was love at first sight! I just had to have this quirky unusual cabinet in which to display my jewellery. I didn’t have enough change for the £8 it cost so the kind man let me have it for £6.50! What a bargain. I love buying pre-loved as I feel certain it had a history, I like to imagine who might have owned it and what they put inside...
I can't wait till my next craft fair so I can show it off!
Let just hope it doesn’t out shine my jewellery! ;)

This Tuesday is approaching fast and we here at Re:So are getting SUPER excited for our debut in Spitalfields Market, where we will be selling one-off t-shirts for a great cause!
Not only this ,but we will be competing against numerous universities from around the country to win the #unipopshop challenge (http://unipopshop.com) which will be happening over a few days...let me assure you, Re:So are in it to win it!
We need to sell AS MANY t-shirts as possible, so spread the word and tell all of your London friends to come and say hello! Money from the Tee's will be donated to The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, raising funds for the Jigsaw Appeal; transforming the Womens Health Unit.
"We need to raise £1.5 Million so we can relocate the services into one site, redesign the layout to make your experience less stressful and create a lighter, brighter atmosphere. The new unit will offer more privacy, dignity and overall a transformed experience. "

Come on everyone...show your support!
