* I am a Sydney Sargent 'kin', I do not know how to describe it nor do I have the words for it entirely. At least 3 hours a day I feel like Sydney, as if I am him, and the rest of the time i just heavily relate to him. It's very shifty and depends on how i am feeling. I think about what would have become of Maddy, if we follow the Canon story line of RDRII. She would have been so furious with Dutch, especially seeing how easily Micah manipulated him and turned him into something horrible. She would have been devastated over Arthur dying for Dutch's sins, and seeing him give the man everything, only for Dutch to turn his back on him in the end.

She would have wanted to fight with them at Beaver Hollow, refusing to be sent away to protect her, but in the end she do as she's told. She wouldn't find out about Arthur's death until later when Charles told her. Maddy would have been heartbroken knowing he did so much for the gang and got nothing in return from Dutch. She will would be furious that Micah managed to get away and would do what she could to try and find him, just to put a bullet between his eyes. She never really succeeds.

She does meet the former gang members again from time to time, and she is thrilled to see so many of them are doing well. Maddy made it a priority to write the people she could, making sure to keep updated on how they all did and what happened in their lives. Maddy herself would settle down somewhere else, maybe start her own little family, or maybe she'd be more dedicated to her work as a doctor. Whenever she could, depending on where she lived, she would try and go see the former gang member that were within a reasonable distance.

Her time in the gang would always be an important part of her, and she would often think back on it and always feel like there wasn't a sense of closure. Of course she would travel around to visit all the graves and place a bouquet of flowers, paying her respect to all of them. It was her journey through her own grief, with Arthur's grave being the final one.

She would at some point know that Micah was still alive, and she would want to see him suffer for what he did, as well as see Ducth get what was coming for him. When Micah is finally dead, it did little to satisfy her as revenge only leaves an empty space in its wake. She never forgave Dutch for what he did but she decided to keep the memory of Arthur alive and share stories with her children.

Finally just now tried RDRII Holy moly it’s beautiful. Feel like a movie. Every frame a painting. There’s nothing quite like R* games animation. All the animations in between everything so it’s fluid. There’s nothing like their games. I also today tried cyberpunk for the first time and though pretty in its own way- there’s such a jank to it. A few bugs and it plays like a video game. RDRII plays like a film. The controls in CP are kinda broken. So far it’s alright though.
