Collections (2013)

This piece is a relationship between past and present, a collection of objects and thoughts. These photographs are drawn from memories of a loved one and include extracts from my diary.

This series has been my favourite out of all my years of studying photography. I have a strong emotional connection with the images, and was very proud to exhibit them in Derby and London. I believe they show my style as an artist, and carry the themes that I explore such as memory, family and personal experience.
