EXCUSE ME?! First of all, I'm glad that Selena clocked him on the fact he wanted a young girl to have fun with. He literally met her when she was trying to make ends meet. Then he has the nerve to say she changed when they got into a relationship...

Dude she never really had any close relationships with anybody before YOU! She was literally an asshole to her mom and dad then was sent to an abusive orphanage. She knows nothing about love so when you came in you gave her everything she softened up cause she wasn't used to that. But you no longer found her "lively" because of THAT?!

Not to mention you seem to be way older than her based on experience and looks so you took advantage of that. Exit left, please!

After a roller coaster of boring story(yes, I'm not into a parallel universe theme), I finally managed to finish Arcanum, and I chose Damon as my love interest by accident. Still, I'm glad I did since he's pretty cute and cool. However, the book's themes were what truly captivated me. Arcanum delves into profound topics that could provoke one's inner wounds or traumas. But, in my opinion, its exploration of these themes made the story all the more beautiful. As I read on, I could feel my emotions being stirred, and the characters' experiences resonated with me. Overall, the book was a unique and thought-provoking read that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a mindless escape.
