Warning: #bikeporn 😂#oilpainting is a focus area that tends to keep me sane (it’s relative). #cycling is another, and this bike has made cycling #capetown a pleasure (once again, it’s relative). I built this about three years ago while living in flat Shanghai. I started with a factory direct 53cm BXT carbon fibre frame and fitted it with #shimano 105 all around before eventually “upgrading” to an #ultegra 50/34 chainring and R8000 GS rear derailleur so I could fit an 11/34 cassette to take on the hills of Ningbo and Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) areas on a few group rides. It has served me well in taking on the hilly capetown terrain. I like a low sleek look to this style bike so I went with a #razapura carbon aero style drop bar on a longer (110mm) inverted stem. Overall the bike cost me around 2000 USD (carbon wheels included) with factory direct parts ordered via #taobao in China.
