(I had this crossover in mind for a really long time since Rayemma Week 2019 but the first file for this got corrupted but luckily I had a WIP image saved and was able to redraw it.)

RayEmmaWeek 2020 Day 3: Sleep/ Travel

Yay, putting both prompts in one picture! Aren’t I the best? ^^

To be honest, this is my least favourite picture of this week :/ It was the first one I made and I knew exactly how it should turned out, but... well, I’m not quite as happy as I wished I would be, but I just can’t draw people sitting or sleeping together.

Emma’s and Ray’s adventure to Goldy Pond made me feel really sorry for them, having a hard time outliving the wild demons and dealing with someone who wanted to kill them at all costs. Probably one of them only slept when the other one was awake, never letting their guard down, but maybe one night they both were so tired no one could watch over the other anymore, sleeping restless but still, together.

RayEmma Week 2020 Day 8 - No matter what (Bonus Free Day) That’s it, it’s the end of this week and also of this beautiful manga… Gosh, I’m already nostalgic! I drew a parallel between the scene of chapter 123 and the end of the manga… (this sentence hurts even more after chapter 180…)

I had set myself the goal of making big/complete illustrations throughout the Rayemma week. There is one that I am not very satisfied with but I have rather fulfilled my objective otherwise! Don’t count on me to stop drawing some TPN stuff :3

RayEmmaWeek 2020 Day 2: Confessions

Okay okay, I know the prompt surely meant something completly different but in my oppinion confessions are not always about telling someone how much you love them. Especially Ray with the dark secret about his birth has surely a hard time opening up to someone, confessing his true relationship with Mama. Emma being the first one hearing the bitter truth about her friend would be a greater evidence for Ray’s love and trust into her than any romantic words could ever be.

The scene takes place mid November on Isabella’s date of death. Visiting her grave, talking about past days and remembering everything she ever was to their children, Ray breaks down in Emma’s arms, unable to keep their secret any longer.
