Leedo got done with his run, trying to release some of the anger he was now filled with, “Leedo, where are you going? Shouldn’t you be trying to swoon over your future mate?” Ravn, one of the betas, joked only to receive a dirty look from Leedo “whatever,” he said before storming off into his cabin. It wasn’t long before Ravn followed him in “what’s up? You are usually in a better mood after a run.” Leedo sighed, sitting on the bed, “Y/N told me that he is having a hard time now because of me.” Ravn was silent for a while, trying to find the right words to say.

“Any reason why?” Ravn asks.

“None that I can think of, but I hate myself for not being able to sense it. Y/N is my mate, and I couldn’t even tell. How did you tell something was wrong with your mate?”

Ravn laughed “you aren’t supposed to know everything about your mate right away. Where is the fun in that?” Leedo leaned in closer, trying to soak in every word Ravn was saying.”

“Took us a month to learn how to react to each other’s different scents. It was the following day, and you woke up with the smell of lavender filling your senses again, but this time it was comforting. You got up, putting on a shirt, and starting making your way to breakfast. Before you could make your way out the door, you got shoved back, making you fall to the ground “look, a beta can’t even look where he is going, almost like a useless beta.” Head Beta Yunho laughed while walking away. Trying to get up, you felt a sting in your arm. Looking down, you saw a slight scratch.

Trying to stand, a hand reached out for you, looking up. You saw Leedo standing there wearing a half-smile, “what’s a beautiful guy like you doing on the ground?” He said, only receiving a scoff from you, “what are you doing here, Leedo?” Getting up, rejecting his help, “I thought we could eat together, and then I have a surprise for you after.” Leedo’s eyes sparkled when he mentioned the surprise, “I don’t think so, Leedo. I have chores to do and then combat training.” Leedo tried to hide his faltered excitement but got replaced with an idea “then I guess I will have to join you with your activities,” Leedo said proudly.

You and Leedo made your way to the campfire taking your seats, and you could already hear the whispers from the other wolves. “Leedo, what brings you here this morning?” Your alpha asks, “I wanted to enjoy my first breakfast with my mate.” Leedo said with a cold tone, “I hope that isn’t a problem?” Now his voice was almost sinister. “No, not at all.” Your alpha responded.

Breakfast got finished with you and Leedo at the nearby river washing the dishes, “why are you doing this? An alpha shouldn’t be doing mediocre chores.” You ask, avoiding Leedo’s gaze. “I always do things like this in my pack, and I’m not an alpha, just a high-ranking beta.” You scoff at that last part, “a high-ranking beta that is going to be alpha, no big deal or anything.” You started to scrub even harder, trying to avoid any conversation. Leedo only laughed at the action.

“There you are, Leedo. I was looking all over for you,” Siyeon one of the female bets from your pack. “Well, you found me,” Leedo said, not paying her any attention. “You are one funny guy. He stood up and started walking away with Siyeon, “I am going to show you everything.” You hear her voice starting to fade out. Your wolf was angry but also hurt. You ignored it anyways and continued with your task.

Finishing up the last dish, you made your way back to camp. Looking around, it was pretty standard, except you to see Siyeon sitting on Leedo’s lap with her arms wrapped around his neck. Trying to ignore it, you made you place everything into the bin and made your way to the combat training grounds. “See, now that is who an alpha should be with, not some weak ass beta like you. I am surprised that you aren’t dead yet.” Looking over to see Yunho smirking, “a wolf like you doesn’t deserve a pack or to live.”

“Are we going to have a problem?” Looking over, you see Leedo towering over Yunho while flashing his golden eyes. “No problem at all,” Yunho said, lowering his head “good. If I see you touch Y/N, I will rip out your throat. Do you understand me?” Leedo’s commanding voice made everyone shiver to submit, “Leedo, please don’t” you tug on his shirt. He looked back at you as his golden eyes started to fade away, “let’s just go. I am already late for training. Why not join me?” Leedo smiles “that sounds like a lovely, let’s go,” he said, shooting Yunho one last death glare.

You and Leedo arrived at the designated training grounds, “All right, pair up with someone and work on takedowns. It’s crucial to be the one pinning your opponent to the ground before they do you. It’s a difference between life and death.” The trainer Mingi explained. “Let’s see if you can take me, hmm?” Leedo smirks “let’s see what you got, Mr. Alpha,” you taunt, making Leedo mocking back. “If I win, then you have to go on a dinner date with me tonight,” he wagers, which you agree to the terms.

You both took your stances, but it was Leedo that took the first move, charging towards you, dodging his fists, making sure they had no contact. He lunged again, but this time, you grabbed his arm while sweeping a leg under his attempting to trip him over. Leedo managed to regain his balance taking a few steps back. “Ooh, you are good, but it’s going to take more than that to take me down.” He taunts some more. You and your wolf were getting more competitive, but little did you know that both Leedo’s and your scents were mixing and covering the area.

Leedo’s eyes were turning golden again, and you felt your eyes turn blue. Both of your wolves are now in complete control, Leedo charged. This time with more ferocity, he was too fast for you to dodge. Hwanwoong needs a firebender to teach him the ways of firebending, but what happens when it's a very handsome one?

On his journey to become avatar, hwanwoong had met lots of people and became close with many people, unfortunately, none of them were firebenders, or at least firebenders willing to teach him, which is why he went on a journey to find one, together with 5 friends who had helped him through this journey, they headed for a small village in the earth kingdom, which was rumored to have a very powerfull but young firebender

On their arrival they were welcomed by the people of the village "it is a pleasure to finally meet you, avatar, what brings you to our humble village?" leedo spoke "we heard you have a powerful firebender in your village, we came to find him" at this the people began to cowar in fear "what's wrong?" xion asked concerned

"the person you are looking for is a man with no sense of humanity, he nearly burned our village down when he first arrived. I advice you to not go where he lives, but if you are brave enough, he will be in the forest up ahead"

When they made it into the forest, they felt as if something was watching them "so what do we do if he doesn't wanna teach me firebending" hwanwoong asked concerned "we'll have to find someone else to teach you the-ah!"

a flame went past them at lightning speed "I knew we were being watched! Everyone in defensive, we don't know what they're capable of!" ravn shouted as a figure emerged from the trees, dressed in all black

They fought for only a few minutes when they were starting to get out matched by the hooded figure, even with their bending, which now was blocked and some of them were paralysed by chi blocking, only hwanwoong was left standing

"please, we don't want to fight you, I'm just trying to look for a teacher who can help me learn firebending" the figure ceased his attacks, and took his hood, which revealed a young man with e/c eyes and h/c hair, which shocked hwanwoong, as he was not expecting such a handsome young man

"my apologies for paralysing your companions, i thought you were mere bandits"

The young man helped hwanwoong carry the younger's friends to his house, they went inside and got them onto something they could lay on.

Hwanwoong was waiting for his friends to wake up, whilst y/n made some tea, when he was done, he set the tray on the table the younger was seated at

"I apologise once again for attacking you and your friends, lots of people come into these woods seeking to steal from it" hwanwoong looked up at the man "why would someone do such a thing?"

y/n looked away from him "people like to possess whatever they wish to, and often don't think about what effect it has on the land beyond theirs. This forest belongs to the spirits, and I shall protect it from others"

Hwanwoong looked at the man with admiration, how did someone have such dedication to the spirits? "so, you said you needed someone to teach you firebending? I'm guessing you're the avatar then." he snapped out of his thoughts "oh right, yea, I'm the avatar" he held out his hand for the older to shake

"hwanwoong, nice to meet you" the older shook his hand "y/n, likewise, oh and since you need a teacher for firebending, I'd be more than willing to help you, it's only fair after I wrongfully attacked you"

Weeks after y/n joined the team, hwanwoong found himself getting more and more infatuated with the male. At first he thought it was just admiration or a silly little crush, but he soon got to learn it was more then just a silly little crush

When they stopped at a village just outside of the earth kingdom, people there weren't just fascinated by the avatar, but also by the handsome firebender with him

Young girls and even some boys swarmed around the man, which made a particular one a bit jealous

"what's with the sour face hwangie?" ravn asked said male. He didn't answer, and only kept looking at the male surrounded by people, some even touching his biceps, much to the other's dismay "You're jealous, aren't you?"

"huh? Why would I be jealous? I just admire his strength and I want him to be comfortable, which he's not" hwanwoong retorted "we all see how you look at him, that isn't just simple admiration, you want him to have is eyes on you rather than those girls, right?" he looked down and nodded

"I guess it is more than simple admiration or a silly crush" ravn rubbed his back "but he probably won't pay attention with all those girls around him" the younger pouted

"well, why don't we make him pay attention then?" he looked up confused "what? How would we even do that?"

"this isn't gonna work" hwanwoong said "what are you talking about? He won't be able to take his eyes of off you like this" xion said as he put the final touches of makeup on him "there! All done, you should head over to town, look for him"

Once hwanwoong got to town, he saw the same group, still surrounding y/n, still a little too close for comfort. Hwanwoong was determined to change that within a few seconds

"y/n! I heard there's a forest nearby, you wanna come check it out with me?" to say that y/n was surprised would be an understatement. He was completely mesmerised by hwanwoong's beauty, the makeup he had on perfectly complimented the outfit he had on.

He pushed past the crowd around him, going towards the smaller "sure, let's go" this made the people around him not so happy "y/nnnnnnnn, where are you going? Can we come too?"

"sorry, but this just between me and hwanwoong, I'll be back"

As they made their way through the forest, both parties felt themselves become more relaxed "thanks for saving me back there" hwanwoong smiled at the older "you don't have to thank me, anyone could've seen you were uncomfortable" y/n nodded as they continued on their walk

"your outfit looks really pretty, it compliments your makeup, is it for a special occasion?" the younger blushed "oh, this is just something xion pulled together, said he wanted to test something on me"

"you look beautiful" hwanwoong stopped in his tracks, wondering if he heard that wrong "really?" hwanwoong looked up at the man, sparkles seemingly in his eyes "yes, in fact, I think you're always beautiful, I guess I just never said it out loud"

"y/n, can I tell you something? And promise you won't get mad" the younger was still afraid of getting rejected, even if there were signs that the older felt the same. Nonetheless, the older nodded "ummm, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while, but never really got the courage to, until I saw those people around you. I couldn't stand seeing them that close to you, making you uncomfortable, I wish I had done something but I was afraid you wouldn't even notice-"

Y/n put his hand on the younger's shoulder "You're rambling a bit, are you okay?" hwanwoong composed himself "I'll just get straight to it I guess. I like you-no wait-love you, I don't want others to touch you like that, I was afraid they'd take you away." he looked down, unsure of how y/n would react

"hwanwoong" said boy looked up, finding seemingly no negative emotions in the older's face, but rather a gentle smile "I love you too, why do you think I was uncomfortable in the first place?"

They laughed for a few seconds, before it eventually died down and they were left looking into each others eyes. Slowly leaning in "may I?" the younger nodded at the older's request, bringing his hands up to y/n's shoulders, y/n cupping his cheek, lips almost touching

"well well well, look who's out here in the woods, the avatar and his 'bodyguard'" they quickly pulled away at the sight of the bandits "give up, you're outnumbered" y/n and hwanwoong only smirked "I think you forgot who you're up against"

After fighting and successfully chasing of the bandits, they decided it was about time they head back "so where's that kiss you were gonna give me?" y/n chuckled and grabbed hwanwoong by his waist "right here" he said as he leaned in and kissed hwanwoong.

Shedding Season-Kim Youngjo X reader

Warnings: Hybrid! Youngjo. Mentions of waxing (If you have a problem with that) Dating hybrid. Large cat hybrid. Drama queen Youngjo. Hybrid!oneus. This was supposed to be a smut but now it's not and that is my ted talk.

Shedding season, the worst time of year between spring and summer. Normally people love springtime,its a chance for new beginnings, tidying up your life. Endless possibilities. But not for the life of a hybrid master-especially a large cat hybrid-Male hybrid. All spring is to me is coming home from work to find Ravn in one of his many moods thanks to the hormones rushing his veins. I never know if i am going to get a sad, angry, happy, or horny hybrid. Yea, horny. And to make matters worse he's my boyfriend, so it's only the polite thing to do to not smack him upside the head with a frying pan. Though a spray bottle will get the trick done just fine.

And the hair-God the hair is such a nightmare. It's everywhere and there's so much of it. No matter how much i sweep this forsaken house or vacuum or lint roll, THERE'S ALWAYS HAIR. So today i decided to stop by the convenience store and grab some more wax beads for my hot pot. It's time for the big guns. We've tried shaving his hair only for it to clog expensive and disposable razors. Pre waxed strips are far too cheap and would probably make his kitty skin break out. At least with these beads i can do a test sample without wasting a whole strip. He better hope this wax isn't harmful to him or else he's going to the groomer's.

He hates the groomers, in his words. "They don't care about what shape my nails are in. What dreadful person would have square nails!?" I swear if we had a fainting couch he would be on it all the time. I looked up reviews about the wax and it all of them say it's the best for cat hybrids. For how much i spent on it it better be liquid gold.

"Ravn i'm home." He has a birth-name, Youngjo, a fine name if you ask me. But to him it hold too many burdens, so the legal name for my ownership of him is Ravn. "Ravn~ C'mere." Strange, usually he's all over me before i can get my shoes off, so it's unusual to say the least. "What are you doing?"

The large man sits on the bathroom counter, his legs criss cross in the sink. A pondering look on his face. "It's such a shame." I place a comforting hand on his back as he touches his reflection in the mirror. "I look so pretty today and no one even got to see me."

"Oh Jesus Christ Ravn." The drama queen himself chases after me once i walk away, rolling my eyes i'm sure they've logged in the back of my head at this point. "I'm serious Y/n. It's absolutely dreadful what you're doing to me." He falls onto the couch dramatically, a hand draped over his forehead. This is the soul reason i've invested in a lounge chair of my own. Because he takes up the whole couch with his lanky body like he's in a tella-novella. "How could you keep me locked up in this apartment for another day!"

"Until your medicine comes in the mail i can't let you around others. You know this." His pouty expression tells me he doesn't give a damn. "But i want to see Keonhee and Leedo. Even Hwanwoong, even if he does steal your attention away from me." His last sentence is bitterly thrown at me with no real hate behind it. "How could anyone resist his cuddles though~ He's a soft pursan and you're just a big ol gruff black panther."

"Oh now you're just being mean Y/n!" He pulls me off of the chair and into his chest on the couch. "This is only proving my point hun. A big. Old. Gruff. Panther." Between words i poke the bridge of his nose. He retaliates and pins me on the couch by my shoulders, his pupils growing into slivers. "This is why you and Leedo don't get to hang out without your medicine. Way too much stupid boy hormones making you dumb." Ravn growls once more before falling and rubbing his forehead into my chest. "But you're mine~" The kitty whines, hugging onto me even tighter.

"I know baby. I'm yours." We shift on the couch, wiggling my arms out to rub on his back; enticing cute purrs from him. His overgrown nails kneading into the cushions, thank god for thick couch covers.  I try to get up after a few minutes, Ravn somehow dropping even more body weight on me. "I have things to do Ravn!"

"Just stay with me for a bit. Please?" How the actual hell am i supposed to say no to him. His voice is so small and vulnerable, like he's going to break if i get up. I know it's probably just him being over-dramatic, but that's just how he feels. Soon the rumble of his chest lulls me into a sleepy state.

A rustling of a bag rudely awakens me from my sleep. The heavy force on my chest no longer present. "Ravn? what are you doing?" On the floor, crouched much like a cat, Ravn messes with the bag from the store with an angry look on his face. "You were gonna wax me weren't you?" He holds up the bag of wax beads accusingly, a hand now on his hip. "Mmhmm."

"No."

"No?" I giggle at the look of him, thinking of all the times he's said he's not a drama queen. "I'm being serious Y/n. I don' need to get rid of it." How did i know this argument was going to happen. "You need to. Your hair is all over this apartment and you wont let me take you to the groomers." He crosses his arms. "That's because they get my nails wrong. No matter how many times i say how to shape them!"

"Ravn, that's just the standard shape they're required to do. Not most owners like to have sharp claws on their cats." "But you're not like other owners. We tell them this every time y/n." If it wasn't for his large exterior i would probably mistake him for a toddler with the way he's throwing a tantrum. "Ravn. That is just how they have to do it to avoid lawsuits. Now it is either the groomer's or you let me wax you." Now i'm standing up with both hands on my hips. Most owners would be afraid to boss their large hybrid like this without a trainer. But i know he would never hurt me, no matter how mad he gets. We glare at each-other, both filling the room with endless drama. "Fine." He gives in and stomps over to the island where he's made steak for himself. Petty cat, not making me anything.

"Why is it warm?!" Ravn shouts, being startled by the new sensation on his arm. "Because i heated it up in a hot pot." I guess i'm just gonna have to take this l and accept he's never going to get used to the idea of waxing. After an hour of explaining exactly how it works. Ye, an hour. I'm pissed about it too. I thought starting off on his arm would be less painful than his leg hair. Or his armpits. "Ouch." He monotonously grumbles after i rip the first strip off. "Oh i bet that just hurt so bad." He lets me do his arms without much problems, only adding a snarky remark a few times.

"OW." The first strip of his leg is ripped halfway, it had slipped out of my hands before i could get it all the way off. So that means i wasn't able to press down on it after it ripped. "No, we're not doing this anymore. You've had your fun. but no. Nu uh. I'm done." He tries to get up but i jump on him too quickly. "I'm sorry Ravn! Please let me do the rest!"

"Unhand me woman!"
