♡ Warrior Cats ship art ♡ Can you guess who it is? ;)

Inspired by cats image from instagram. The moment I saw this image I knew I had to drew these two cuties 😂😂 This is my fav WC ship even tho I haven't had a chance to delve into the story deeper so far! I definitely will at some point ☺️

Just some wips because art has been slow but things are happening.

Yeah so I'm not super into ships. It's just not my thing, go figure being aroace. I normally just accept who are couples and like or dislike them, but don't really care to fight about fannon shipping. There are notable exceptions (ex. TallstarxJake, RavenpawxBarley, MothwingxLeafpool, BlazexGlacier, CorynxPhillip, JimxOluwandexArchie) who I will die on a hill about. But for the most part, I just vibe about ships and think they're neat, as long as they aren't literally illegal. Anyway, my favorite fannon couple is Quinterwatcher. I like to think that Moon and Qibli are together first and eventually Winter works through his shit and realizes he likes them both. Obviously Pan Moon and Bi Qibli are like, 'yeah welcome to the poly-q.'

And just more work on my favorite cannon couple. Lesbian plant dragon supremacy. Go figure all of my die on hill ships are also queer. Who would have guessed.

The thing about Draikinator and too many LGBT headcanons is that ppl just focuses on the LGBT part and none of the actual character. It’s great to have representation, but that’s not what Draikinator is doing. They’re scrounging for LGBT so they can hold it up like a prize and say “See! We have diversity! See? See?” The LGBT is being showboated, instead of merely being celebrated alongside the character’s personality. The LGBT is a PART of the character, but it isn’t all the character is. (1/3)

Not all of the head-canons are bad ones that don’t make sense, like for example RavenpawXBarley is a great and heavily supported head-canon, but Draikinator searches for any little detail they can use to pull more head-canons out of their ass, again not because they seriously analyzed the character, but just because they want to “diversify” the Warriors series. People aren’t LGBT because they’re nice, that’s just a personality trait. (2/3)

And the way Draikinator presents it, it almost sounds like they’re saying “x trait = gay” or “y trait = trans” which is basically saying one of two things; either that these traits MADE the character LGBTQ, which is suggesting they were conditioned to be LGBT, or that being LGBT CAUSED those traits, which is perpetuating stereotypes. Because believe it or not, gay people can be assholes. Straight people can be assholes. (3/3)

Your sexuality does not determine your personality, nor vice verca. That is why we have to stop Draikinator from perpetuating this “LGBT is the most important aspect of a character” which is what it comes off as. LGBT is a PART of a character, not the character itself, and that’s what Draikinator needs to learn. (4/3) (hehe sorry Mod)

Whenever I see someone call TalltailxJake or RavenpawxBarley a crackship I wanna scream. Like, do people need to have emotions spoonfed to them? The way cats in these couples act with one another is exactly the way romantic couples or other pairings in the series do. Heck, TalltailxJake have better chemistry than most couples in the series. And it just irks me to know that if one of the cats in these two relationships would be a molly, no one would even question the nature of the relationships.
