- runt got teased for her lisp once by another younger street rat, he got a broken nose and a bruised kidney but he will never tell why

okay pkay hear me out: labrats and mighty med as percy jackson characters? Who would their godly parents be

wonderful suggestion! I wasn't sure if I wanted all the davenports to have the same godly parent, so uhhh i guess douglas really got around.

here's most of the mains and their godly (and non-godly) parent. Except Alan, who was just adopted by Horace after his dad left. and Kaz, who never knew his human parent.

On one hand I do think they only made Marcus & Troy androids so that they could kill them off with no consequences (and as a callback to Six Million Dollar Man), but on the other they are sort of refreshing takes on android-ness in that they're overemotional, which makes sense because something pretending to be human could potentially go "too far" and come across as overdramatic & insincere.
