This is Jake or Jacob depending on how bad he is that day. Part deer, part kangaroo, part rotisserie chicken.

His previous owner abused him and the sound of electric razors or electric handheld fans make him pee himself out of terror. He also pees himself when someone picks up metal tongs or metal chopsticks.

He steals the neighbor dog's toys and bones. He calls it the redistribution of wealth.

Tomatoes and Bananas are his favorite foods. No I don't purposely feed him those. I have to keep them contained on a shelf or he will consume every one of them (even the banana skin) and make himself sick.

He has locked me in the garage. Twice.

what are rat terriers like? differences between big ones and little ones? your oubby is so pretty

They're like if you had a small little criminal who is also your friend <3 Honestly they're a pretty nice middle of the road dog. You've got a little buddy to go do things with but most of them are also happy to just cuddle. Very versatile, prey driven, biddible. Pichael's hobbies include digging, worming, and eating lots of snacks.

I don't have any experience with miniatures but they're *supposed* to be just scaled down versions. As far as I know there isn't an actual split, it's just whether they're under or over 15" tall.

Rat terriers are allowed full tails, docked tails, or natural bobtails. The later two are typically preferred for showing conformation so you'll see it more often, and it's from their history as working breeds ("injury prevention").

Friday evening patio chilling. The doggo is a sweetie when she isn’t trying to savage a ground hog. Now she’s hunting lizards. They are speedy, she got no chance but is entertained.

<sigh> will have to check her for ticks. Have pulled 4 off her so far. Can’t wait to miss the little monkeybutt!

My pupper!! She's such a potato but I love the hell out of her.

I don't recall how much I have actually shared about her so forgive any repeated info.

She was born October 8th, 2014 (She's a purebred. Me and my ex had a *lot* of issues with rescues sadly. long story...) We named her lady because she sat up all prim and proper with her front paws crossed and he just looked like royalty. it was the cutest thing. I was about halfway through my pregnancy with my daughter at the time, and so when I went to meet Lady before we could officially take her, she curled up on my belly and put her wittle face between my boobs (lol) and fell asleep. If I coulda taken her home that day I would have.

She's an old Lady now, but she's got a ton of energy. She's a bit lazy, and has really bad anxiety. She's the queen of puppy eyes, and loves attention. New person? LET. ME. LOVE. YOU. DAMNIT is 100% her energy. You'll get sick of her WAY before she gets sick of you. She won't play with toys, but if she sees a squirrel, a bird, a lizard, etc. you bet your ass she's gonna try and chase it. I think she's afraid of snakes tho. Also, she sheds like CRAZY. my ex said "let's get a short haired dog! she won't shed." BULLSHIT. I was only petting her the other day, and I think I petted a whole other dog off of her. I wish I was kidding.

Thank you for asking about my little love. Lady is to me like Tara is to Gale (minus the wings and the sassy motherly talk lol).

I adore her, and I hope she's secretly immortal.
