Uhh my pronouns change a lot but i generally use he/him or she/her interchangeably. They/them is also okay but I tend to prefer he or her.

I'm sorry to trouble you good detective of rats. I was scrolling along looking for cheese when I discovered your interesting blog. I was perhaps curious if you could explain what exactly a rat detector is? My name is Tara Notarat btw in case I need to respond on the future.

We are about ~45 people, i think. At least currently. We are people who detect rats and other rat detectors. Heres an outdated guide:

Check the rat detectors tag of you want to see more, the rat detected tag however will show you how we work. Almost every detector has their own specific tag, for example “three hundred thirty three rats have arrived” for nr. 333 or nr. 9’s tag “Nines hastily scrawled massage on the bathroom wall” (im not sure if i got nr. 9’s tag correct.). Anyways, i recommend checking out the others. We originate from @rat-detector and have not only numbers but also couples, undetectors, detectordetectordetectordets and evil detectors.

@a-rat-with-internet-accesses often interacts with us and we’ve trapped @gimmick-thief in ratblr. We also tried to get in the hunger games, but we kinda haven’t received news on that front.

Some of us have special features, like nr. 24 being horrifyingly fast and me being a terrible artist that hasn’t made spmething for the detectors in five days.

We currently have multiple communities and even a discord.

But the basic premise is, that we detect rats and other detectors.

Alright! It's time for the Cull Polls!

So, we've got 222 blogs in this competition, and we've got to get that down to 128. That means that 94 blogs have to go. And that's a lot of polls—94 to be exact.

Most of these will be a simple, randomly assigned, 1v1. One blog wins. One blog loses. Unfortunately, there will have to be some Cull Polls with 3 blogs, due to the amount of blogs in them (190) not being double the amount of eliminations needed (94). For these, the blog with the LEAST VOTES gets eliminated, and the other two are kept.

Now you might have noticed a discrepancy. 222 blogs made it here, but only 190 are in the Cull Polls. What gives? Where did 32 of those blogs go?

Here's the thing: I lied to you in my pinned post. The amount of times someone was submitted DOES matter! I just said that so that people didn't spam.
