Just had a wild ass dream that Mike Faist was in an art house musical (porn) film circa 1920s and the final dance number turned into a threesome between him and two other men(?) (the other one seemed like a very gender nonconforming drag performer and it's what drew in Mike's character and the gnc character clocked his tea bad that he wasn't as straight as he was trying to come off as lmao) and it ended up with mike showing his hairy hole to the camera and me rewinding it multiple times to review said hole in dream wow c'est la vie

Pinball [Aemond's Version]
🄼🄰🅂🅃🄴🅁🄻🄸🅂🅃
Just you, your kid, and a pinball machine against the world.
Aemond Targaryen x Reader | >600 | cw: fem!reader, single mom!reader, modern/70s AU, fluff, typos, etc.
A/N: idk dont shoot the messenger, i rarely feel inspired to do fluff so thank Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game and mike faist for this lololol
Even the dinging of the elevator was too loud of him today. Aemond groans in his corner, screwing his eyes shut just as the doors close.
"Here."
He opens his eyes.
You look at him with your soft eyes, curved lips, and overflowing laundry basket by the hip, "you look like you need it."
Aemond's lilac gaze falls on your upturned palm where a single unopened tablet of medicine laid. His light brows furrow, recognizing the packet to be a painkiller, "a kind way to tell someone they look like shit." He takes it nonetheless.
You chuckle and shake your head, "most of us wished we looked half as pretty as you on a day you look like shit, honey."
The elevator dings again. A man walks in, coming between the two of you.
It takes a him a few floors to realize you were flirting with him.
He straightens up and shifts slightly to face you. He steals a glance your way, finding you were smiling. Yeah, his head was pounding, but here he was feeling a smile creep up on him, "you're prettier."
You turn to him, as does the man between the two of you. He gruffs, "what?"
Aemond turns to him, mouth opening, brows raising, "w- I wasn't talking to you."
The man makes a face and thankfully gets off at the tenth floor.
Both you and Aemond watch him exit, and you break into a fit of giggles once the door closes. By the time Aemond joins in your chuckles, you mutter softly, "I think he was hurt."
He laughs harder, which isn't very good for his head ache.
Before he can think of anything to say, you both reach the ground floor. You give him a smile just before walking out. He ruffles his silver hair, following after you as you make a beeline for the laundromat just beside your building.
He finally speaks, "wai-" "MAMA!"
Aemond he cringes at the shriek.
A small child comes running towards you, nearly knocking your basket to the pavement, "I GOT A COIN FOR THE PINBALL-"
"Baby," you crouch down, grabbing the boy by the arm, "we talked about this. The coins are for our laundry. Where is Aunt Sisi?"
"BUT MAMA-"
"Inside voice, bud."
The boy laughs, "BUT WE'RE IN THE STREET!"
"Yeah," you huff, moving to open the door to the laundry place, "but we're going inside now, right?"
"RIGHT! Right!" he grins.
You momentarily struggle to open the door, that is, until it magically opens. You look over and find the man from the elevator opened it for you.
You smile at him, taking your son but the hand, "what do we say to the nice man that helped open the door for us?"
"Thank you, sir," the boy whispers with a smile that's missing a tooth.
"Thank you, sir," you repeat, just before heading in.
"Wait," Aemond says, fishing for something in his pocket. For once, he is glad for his loose change that heavies his pants, "here," he gives a bunch to the boy, "for your pinball machine."
The boy gratefully accepts the coins, gasping as if it was treasure, "THAN- thank you!"
"Oh, sir," you shake your head, "you don't ha-"
"It's fine," Aemond shrugs, "it's just loose change. Consider it a thank you for the pain killer."
You slowly nod at him.
"And a bribe," he tilts his head.
"A bribe?" you tilt you head the opposite way.
"Maybe... we can play pinball sometime."
"PINBALL!"
Aemond groans at the boy's shout.
You snort and shake your head at the child, "no, baby, laundry first."
"Mmm," he hums, "laundry first."
You look back at Aemond and nod slowly, "maybe."
The discomfort on his face fades, "maybe."
"We'll be done here in an hour," you turn to the boy, "won't we bud?"
The boy thinks, "I don't know, mama."
You snort and walk inside, "see you around."
Aemond sighs, pushing the door wider for you, "gods, I hope so."

pls give us a full review when you finish west side story!! 💕 it's actually so good aside from ansel elgort being there.
i worry that you guys read my stuff and think me a sage and faithful movie watcher so i’ll tell you right now free of charge i have not a critic’s bone in my body !! it’s very rare for me to watch a movie and walk away with complaints and when i gush it’s less than coherent and even less articulate,, HOWEVER !
i’m willing to share a few thoughts for the culture so spoiler warning also raise your expectations at your own risk this is just a bit of drivel
i have actually watched it two or three times by now,, a movie i’ve already watched hates to see me coming lmfao
first and foremost and over and above all else ever,, ariana debose Did The Thing, as we say
her performance is so scathing and bright and personal and she sings like a dream and dances like summer rain and she has a smile i would go to war for and if there is a single victim to be spoken of in this gorgeously wretched story,, it is anita and quote and eulogise that for me please and thank you,,,, also i’ll keep my musings fun and fragrant but the scene where the jets rough her up is quite literally sweeping nausea tearstorm material every single time ;the thought alone makes my tummy sore (((honestly strikes me every time because the jet song and gee officer krupke are some of my favourite numbers in the musical and then the memory encroaches upon me and my eyes go dark))) ,,,anyway ariana debose deserves ten dozen oscars
mythical debut for rachel zegler,, who made me feel like a little girl watching a tinkerbell movie for the first time ;which is to say, that sort of magic
as for the mike faist as riff lorton of it all….,,,,.. i have nothing couth to say. but i am somehow equal parts flayed and dismayed whenever he dies regardless of my full knowledge that it will happen
in all, my knees bruise at the alter of live performance and all tender faithful tributes thereto which this movie is !! i love movie musicals ,i love the abject whimsy of a song and dance , it is sooo hard to disappoint me in that regard and this movie did #not !
#don’t ask me for reviews we are on god’s green and delicate and finite earth i have NO profound analyses of the pictures#i just like to watch em#also my little brother enjoyed the movie too !#his fav number was america#ariana debose did the thing#mike faist#west side story#the ansel effort of it all was actually a nonissue for me it was that good

my official (but non-exhaustive) ranking of the delancey brother actor pairs’ believability as brothers, as inspired by my half-joking post saying i was going to “rank them on a scale from ‘assumed to be twins’ to ‘get accused of lying about being related’, which was then heavily requested
lets gooooo
mike faist (morris) and brendon stimson (oscar)
oh, those are brothers, babey! could easily be twins. definitely related, definitely raised together. rarely separated, but can be. they’re comfortable. the newsies assume they’re twins.
george crawford (morris) and alex james hatton (oscar)
those are brothers! close brothers, too. not twins, though. do not separate them. god knows they will not do it themselves. the newsies argue about whether or not they’re twins.
adam kaplan (morris) and brendon stimson (oscar)
sure! they could easily be brothers. maybe half-brothers. still definitely raised together. usually interacting with each other, but not always. several of the newsies argue about their relatedness on the basis of hair colour difference, but the similarities in their face are raised by others to quell those arguments.
shon greenblatt (oscar) and david sheinkopf (morris)
could be brothers. particularly brothers with a larger age gap. hold the contempt of brothers raised together. would rather bicker amongst themselves than interact with anybody else. will separate frequently and then soon reconvene. one looks like their mum and the other looks like their dad.
devin lewis (morris) and anthony norman (oscar)
could be brothers. could be stepbrothers. will try to separate, with varying success. as capable of talking to each other as they are of arguing with each other. again, the mum-dad difference. the newsies will fairly frequently discuss whether or not they’re really related.
jack scott (oscar) and mike faist (morris)
could be brothers? if they are, they have the vibe of two brothers meeting for the first time in adulthood, or who only interact periodically at family functions and the like. they are not capable of interacting for especially long. could also be half- or step-brothers. the newsies do not believe they’re related.
alex prakken (oscar) and michael ryan (morris)
i’m not fully convinced these men know each other. recently adopted. or maybe (half-)siblings raised largely separately. could equally be step-siblings who only just really met. talk to each other like coworkers, but do not dislike each other. the newsies absolutely do not believe they are related, and think it’s more of an extended bit they’re doing. to add to the hilarity: neither of them look anything like wiesel either. it’s assumed the “family” bit is some kind of elaborate mafia-style ruse.
#also do we really not have a single picture of owen and george yet??#maybe i’ll dig and try and do a part two with specifically uksies brothers#newsies#morris delancey#oscar delancey

ALEX CALDWELL (Glen Powell) is looking for their YOUNGER SIBLING(S).
CONNECTION NAME:
[UTP] Caldwell (unless they’ve changed their name for a significant reason, which can be discussed!)
CONNECTION:
Younger siblings (0/4)
AGE:
Sibling 1: 32-33 Sibling 2: 28-31 Sibling 3: 26-27 Sibling 4: no younger than 25
FACECLAIM:
Katherine Langford, Leo Woodall, Mike Faist, Josephine Langford, Olivia Cooke, Margaret Qualley, Emma Corrin, Luke Newton, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Haley Lu Richardson, Liv Hewson, E.R. Fightmaster, Nico Tortorella, Jeremy Irvine. I gave lots of suggestions to help a prospective player but I’m open to just about anything!
BACKGROUND
** These were just my initial thoughts but all of it is absolutely up for discussion ** the second eldest — this sibling has remained their father’s loyal confidant, all this time. sometimes putting their own wants and dreams on the backburner to support their heartbroken, rapidly aging father. maybe this sibling has a little bit of resentment for their older brother, and how quickly he ran away from their family. the middle child (sort of) — this sibling has always felt looked over, and rarely considered. as a result, they’ve become an adult that is a ‘go-with-the-flow’ type, but that’s only a mask that hides their true feelings. they struggle with feeling tied down to anyone or anything, and their only career right now is being a professional couch surfer. what good are aspirations if there’s no one to congratulate you at the finish line? the youngest — this sibling has been living with their mother since Alex moved out of their father’s house for college, when they were just 11 years old. Alex is probably a virtual stranger to them, so whatever has caused them to reach out to him must be mighty important.

Luca Guadagnino’s CHALLENGERS felt like it was custom made just for me, but I think you’ll like it, too. It’s extremely sexy, always riveting, and Zendaya has never been better. And in this movie, she’s living my best life.
Zendaya plays tennis starlet turned coach Tashi Donaldson with an intensity and coldness that I couldn’t stop smiling at throughout the runtime. As the two men in her life, Mike Faist’s Art Donaldson and Josh O’Conner’s Patrick Zweig are perfectly cast. I could watch these three actors be horrible to each other indefinitely. Hot people playing cruel relationship games is my favorite genre, and this is a very strong entry. I’ll happily put this on my shelf next to CLOSER and CRUEL INTENTIONS.
CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, BONES AND ALL, and now CHALLENGERS are all fascinating studies on relationships that might not be the most healthy, but sure are fun to watch! I’d say this is the most accessible of the three to your average audience, and that can only help Guadagnino at the box office when it releases this weekend. This one focuses on two timelines, “present” day (it takes place in 2019), and fifteen years earlier back to when the three leads were teenagers and meeting for the first time. What happened in the years in between, you’ll find out at exactly the right time.
There is another aspect to the film: tennis. Unlike KING RICHARD, however, this film makes it exciting. Zendaya’s Tashi says early on in the film, “Tennis is a relationship.” Luca treats it as though he believes her. There is a sequence where the POV is from the ball, and it so perfectly captured the energy and tension of the moment that I wanted to pump my fist in the air. Trent Reznor’s score melding with what’s onscreen in a synergy that is rarely achieved anymore.
I’m being vague about the story because watching it unfold was one of this year’s best moviegoing experiences for me, and I’d hate to deprive you of that. Suffice it to say that the three leads are phenomenal, the story is a blast, and at the moment the credits rolled I had to use deep inner strength to not leap from my seat and let out a primal scream. I mean that as a compliment. This is the sexiest film you’ll see all year. Run to your nearest IMAX and see it immediately. And then watch it again, just for fun.
4.5/5

(Mike Faist) [THE BEGUILED]. Please welcome [RIDLEY KELLEY (THEY/THEM)] to Huntsville, WV. They are an [31]-year-old [RESIDENT] who lives in [THE COMMUNE]. You may see them around working as a [STOCK WORKER AT THE FOOD MARKET]. Poor unfortunate soul. We’ll see if they survive.
Full Name: Ridley Spencer Kelley Birthday: January 5 Age: 31 Hunter or Gatherer: Gatherer Sexuality: Demisexual Height: 6'0 Relationship Status: Taken (dating Sawyer Axton)
Ridley had no idea why their parents decided to settle down in Huntsville. Their father was a high ranking army man, often being relocated for months at a time, while Ridley and their mother stayed in the little town, just a family of two. Not that Ridley really wanted to have to move around every year or however often it really was, but it was the principle of the matter. Deep down, Ridley thought it was just because their dad never wanted to be a family man, but it just sort of happened.
Despite this, Ridley had a great childhood. Running through the woods and climbing every tree they could get a foothold in, there was never a time they ever remembered feeling unhappy. While they were just a little different from the other kids, there were still people they considered close friends, so it didn't matter if they weren't the most popular or weren't doing all the things kids their age were.
Part of this came from the Reyes-Ortega family - Ridley was close to the twins, and that meant that they were welcomed in as part of the family. They also had close ties to Annie and Noah Kaspbrak, having the pair over often; between these two factors, Ridley rarely felt like an only child. And the few times they did, they could always rely on Sawyer Axton - someone who could be best described as Ridley's polar opposite, but maybe that's why they got along.
Of course the paradox changed things - but Ridley tried not to think too much about all that. They couldn't stay out as late in the woods, and the drives they'd taken in their father's car that he was never around to use blasting music had to stop. This was the first time Ridley remembered being unhappy - when the two things that made them happiest were cut short or given a time limit. They tried to fill the void with reading and writing, and continuing to spend time with their friends, but there was still a deep longing to climb trees at twilight and speed out of town blasting Master of Puppets.
Somehow, despite the odds, Ridley's father came home after the paradox. Maybe it was the lack of contact with his wife that made him nervous, or it was just habit to return after long periods of time away, but the man did not adjust well. It seemed the army was the only thing in life that gave him purpose, and barely a year after he was back, he walked out just before twilight and was never seen again. Their mother, devastated, followed suit six months or so later. It was the first time Ridley ever really felt alone; they were twenty two.
Adjusting to life without their parents wasn't easy, but it wasn't exactly hard either. They were used to their father being gone, but their mother was a source of comfort. They visited the cemetery often; unsure if the remains were actually buried there but finding comfort in a place to go to talk to them. Moving to the commune was the natural next step, because while there was no question that Ridley could take care of themselves, they needed a community to lean on.
Quiet almost to a fault, and often written off as shy, Ridley is more than content with the small support system they have. More prone to observing than joining in on the conversation, it takes a while to convince them to open up; however, once they do, good luck getting them to shut up. Things that are obvious don't always seem so to them, but they're very quick to catch on once things are explained in a way they understand. It's still very likely to find them with on of the Reyes-Ortega twins, Sawyer or Noah, but they're very loyal to the commune community as well, refusing to believe a single bad thing said about any of them.

I think I just found pictures of Mike Faist as Jack Kelly. They're blurry and hard to see but it's definitely not Jeremey or Corey, and he's too tall to be Brendon.
Are these rare? Should I be gatekeeping these?

full name cole thomas hobbs . nicknames hobbs ( do not call him anything else ) . age thirty ( 30 ) . occupation co - investigator . traits perceptive , distrustful . zodiac gemini . gender cis male . pronouns he / him . sexual + romantic orientation bisexual , biromantic . faceclaim mike faist .
𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌.
cole hobbs lived with his mother , annabeth hobbs , and his brother , garrett hobbs. he always had food on the table growing up but had no idea his mother worked about three jobs so she could provide that for them. he just thought she had long hours for the majority of his childhood. him and garrett were practically joined at the hip the entire time. this didn’t last after high school , even if they were close in age , but cole and garrett had different interests and began fighting a lot.
garrett was about a year or so older than cole , always looking out for the youngest in the family while their mother was away. garrett became a degenerate while cole was prone to following everything by the book. he rarely strayed from rules , afraid to taint a clean moral slate for the longest time.
after cole graduated high school , he knew he wanted to do something greater with his life. he never anticipated a doomsday situation , never even had a thought about it , so he thought he would be stuck working a mundane job for the rest of his life and he chose something that actually interested him : surveillance. he began as an intern for a firm not too far from his house. he wasn’t getting paid but he was getting experience and that was all that mattered to him.
when he was 20 , he and his brother began separating. his brother moved to california , his mother stayed in nevada , and cole stuck with his mom for a little while longer. it wasn’t until he turned 24 that he decided to move across the country. this didn’t come from nowhere , of course , and someone had offered him a job in boston. the problem was that cole was a big spender once the money started coming in. he didn’t know how to save up and he was essentially broke. that , alone , almost made him decline the job because he feared he wouldn’t be able to afford a place in boston to stay. the person that recruited him told him about park place and cole left the next week to move into his new apartment.
he’d been at park place ever since , keeping consistent communication with his mother because he couldn’t contact his brother anymore after their falling out. he liked being able to spy on people for a living , mostly because he thought his own life was so boring and it kept things interesting.
𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒏.
[ trigger warning : death , infected . ] after a breakup with his previous partner , he was returning to their apartment to retrieve some leftover belongings he’d never had the time to pick up before. cole and his partner were in the middle of bickering about god only knew what when they heard crying coming from the other room. long story short , this was cole’s first experience with a weeper ( and with any of the infected ) and the two of them ended up having to kill it. he nearly ran back to his apartment after that and locked himself inside. everything after that happened so quickly. [ end trigger warning . ]
he tried to leave after that , figuring everything going on in the world wasn’t as serious as it was … even after he came face to face with someone who was infected. when he wasn’t allowed to leave , he became envious of those that were allowed into quarantine zones. he didn’t like that he was locked in one place , unable to leave , unattached to the world and just waiting for all of their inevitable fates. this sparked his initial interest in what fedra was doing , of who they were , and what they provided. this was all well after he’d already been cooped up for almost an entire month with no idea as to what was actually going on everywhere else in the world.
eventually , he adapted to their own little ecosystem. he figured helping out around the complex would do him some good , cure his cabin fever , and keep him from driving himself mad. so he became a co-investigator , feeding into his urge to get out of his place every once in a while and actually offering some kind of helping hand. he helps with the actual drawing of the maps as well , which is why he’s a pretty decent asset to the team. he also has some hope that helping out means he’ll get early access to whatever kind of communication they figure out so he can contact his brother , who he’d been trying to talk to right before the world went to shit , but it never worked out.
𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒔.
he rarely goes by his first name anymore and doesn’t really respond to it.
hobbs is notorious for his poker nights ( before and after the outbreak ) and will host them at his apartment every wednesday night. now the stakes are just a little bit higher when they play , sometimes playing for food rations or supplies. being one of the few that actually goes out , hobbs is also known to provide makeshift weapons and stuff from the outside.
hobbs has killed many infected , but has only ever seen one lurker. he was with a group of people when he saw it and was unable to kill it because it was the first time they’d ever seen anything like it towards the beginning of the infection.
his hunting rifle is engraved with his initials and he doesn’t go anywhere without it slung over his shoulder and a pistol at his hip.
the roof is one of the few places he can almost always be found , backpack used as a pillow as he stares at the clouds and waits to be summoned for his job. he used to smoke cigarettes at the beginning of the outbreak , but doesn’t anymore because supplies are limited and he’s honestly not that picky.
his apartment is almost entirely the same as it was on the day everything went to shit. he tries to keep it as clean as he possibly can because it’s one of the few things that still keeps him sane. he keeps inventory of all the things he owns so he knows if anything goes missing.
hobbs is artistic by nature. before everything went down , he used to draw a lot. this helped a lot when the infected started popping up and he became a co-investigator because he could double as somewhat of a cartographer to help with mapping out where everything is.

MATHIEU SCHUESTER
☆ FULL NAME: Mathieu William Schuester ☆ GENDER: Cisman ☆ PRONOUNS: He/Him ☆ AGE: 31 (April 30th, 1993) ☆ TYPE: Full sibling; solo ☆ HOMETOWN: Columbus, Ohio ☆ JOB: Graduate Assistant in PSU’s Psychology program ☆ SCHOOL: Second year Neuropsychology Master's student ☆ SEXUALITY: Bisexual ☆ FACECLAIM: Mike Faist
ABOUT MATHIEU
(trigger warning for eating disorders)
It could’ve been easily predicted that Will Schuester would expect his oldest to follow his lead, and Mathieu was never one to disappoint. In fact, the very fear of disappointment has been his biggest motivating factor for pretty much every decision he’s made since he was old enough to understand the concept. The majority of lessons he learned from his father weren’t about how to navigate the world, at least not in a way that translated well to his brain. Instead, his role in the family seemed to become hyperfocused on the performing arts when it was clear that Mathieu did in fact have a natural talent. With that talent being finely tuned under his dad’s training, did it really matter that his heart was never in it? Growing up, it didn’t seem like it.
The constantly moving nature of his family was exhausting. Mathieu learned to play the part well in front of the cameras, but he much preferred when he could find an excuse to sneak away on his own. He enjoyed peace and quiet, watching reruns of Jeopardy! during breaks at his dad’s studio and finding excuses to do his English homework on set. Mathieu has always been smart, but his performance abilities seemed to be the bigger point of discussion over his academic excellence.
Mathieu maintains that his problems with food (he’s always avoided calling it what it is: an eating disorder) hadn’t been purposeful in the beginning. It had all started early in his adolescence. Running late for breakfast, voice lessons that ran into dinnertime. But the more excuses he found to avoid meals, the faster he slid down a very slippery slope. Growing up surrounded by the media and underneath his parents’ watchful eyes, it was very rare for Mathieu to feel like he had any sort of control. When he did realize that his body and hunger were two things he had a say in, he knew he had to keep it secret. There were a few forum posts online, few and far between, that would catch sight of the oldest Schuester in the background of scenes and question if he was alright. But for the most part, Matheiu became an expert at lying. To his family, to his friends, and to himself every time he was sure that he was still in control.
When he finished high school and was admitted to PSU’s musical theatre program, it was naturally a cause for celebration. For the show, it was a great boost to the ratings, the ultimate testament to just how grand someone could become under Will’s tutelage. For Mathieu, it was an escape. Not that he would ever say that outloud, of course. He did miss his family once he was on campus, but it was also the first time he ever felt like he could really breathe. As expected, he did well in his program, but he also took the opportunity to take classes outside of his major as well. Science, language, humanities, literature – he loved every second of it. It also became apparent that while he had the training and talent (if not the proper nourishment) to keep up with his classmates, he was missing something that they had in abundance: a passion for the performing arts. Mathieu had spent so long assuming that this was the only option for him, that being good at something equated to it being your entire life. He had begun daring to think of a life outside of the arts, but ultimately it wasn’t his choice to leave the field. No, it all came to a crashing halt when he passed out during a dance lesson in his junior year, his body finally giving in after over a decade of self-abuse.
He tries not to think too much about the aftermath. Mathieu isn’t proud of how he reacted to being forced to accept what he’d done to himself. Still, that didn’t come close to the shame he felt when his family was made aware of the situation. A lifetime spent desperately trying not to disappoint, immediately wasted. Matheiu physically could not handle treatment and school at the same time, so he was forced to drop out and begrudgingly move back home, despite the increase in his parents looming over his shoulder.
Two years later, Mathieu returned to PSU, just not to their musical theatre program. His recovery has never been the most stable, but he knew that going back to the performing arts would be the worst possible choice. Instead he restarted his degree from scratch, focusing on psychology. He hadn’t realized he could love his major so much until then. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree, and then followed it up soon after by getting accepted into PSU’s neuropsychology master’s program. His ultimate goal is to earn a doctorate, but Mathieu is trying to follow his therapist’s advice and focus on one achievement at a time. He’s now in his second year of the program. Oftentimes, it feels like he’s walking a tightrope, still trying to keep from failing his family even more while also knowing how dangerous that can be. Some days are better than others, but he really is trying.
FAMILY BACKGROUND
The very epitome of theater kid himself, Will Schuester’s life was always going to be surrounded by performance. Unfortunately for him, marrying his high school sweetheart, Terri, turned out to be more sour than sweet, and when their relationship turned toxic, with Terri faking a pregnancy in an effort to keep him around, Will had to give up on his then-dream job of coaching a winning high school Glee Club for free to focus on his main Spanish teaching job. When news of Terri’s fake pregnancy came to light, Will filed for divorce, seeking comfort in the arms of his colleague, the school’s guidance counselor, Emma Pillsbury. The two wed in the year to follow.
Supported by his new wife—who made more than him financially anyway—Will decided to quit his job as high school Spanish teacher, and instead secure a space to open a performing arts studio. The studio and its classes growing in popularity quickly, Will was approached by a production company interested in making a reality show. Soon, The Schue Must Go On, a show focusing on the studio’s child performers with Will the adult face as the main teacher and owner, was born. It was supposed to be something of a filler show, but it gained followers quickly, and soon America was obsessed with watching bratty children compete against each other in their dance, voice and acting classes under Will’s guidance, his family shooting to fame in the blink of an eye.
As parents, Will and Emma can be described best as helicopter parents. They’re very over-protective, and try to be involved in every aspect of their children’s lives, despite how busy they are with The Schue Must Go On, which, somehow, is still going strong and has spawned many an off-shoot instalment. Will is an esteemed performing arts coach, and has appeared as a guest judge on various talent shows (AGT, The Voice, DWTS, etc.) alongside his role as head of his studio, and of the Schuester family.

J’ai adoré le microbudget “We’re All Going to the World’s Fair” de Jane Schoenbrun.

MIKE FAIST. THEY/THEM / have you ever heard of THESE WALLS by trapt, well, it describes SPENCER SMITH to a tee! the thirty one year old, and CASHIEER AT FIVE STAR GAMES AND COMICS was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say THEY are more obsessive or more KNOWLEDGABLE instead? anyway, they remind me of chewed up hoodie sleeves, late night horror movie marathons, tinny pokemon music and the habit of always running late, maybe you’ll bump into them soon! time in notting hill: thirty one years
The second oldest of four, Spencer found themselves in a weird spot from an early age. Alana was the talented one, and their parents made it clear. It's not that Spencer minded so much; it was more when it seemed like it was their job as 'the man of the house' to take care of his siblings when they went to do things with with his oldest sister that things started to tumble downhill.
From a young age, Spencer was almost too aware they were different. They liked things too much, they were too quiet, they would rather read books or draw than make friends. If they weren't so bright when it came to the actual school work, Spencer would have been held back; but instead, they were just very socially awkward. They didn't really mind though, much preferring their handheld games or fantasy novels to friends anyway.
Gender and sexuality were always something that Spence was aware of, but they always felt very differently. They didn't fall into any sort of category at all, and while this rarely bothered them, it seemed to bother anyone else who asked. High school brought on a whole new slew of problems, from attempts at dating and trying to explain why they got so mad when people referred to them as a boy. They simply weren't that. They felt like they were just a passenger in an assigned body, not fitting in with the other boys their age, but also very clearly different from the girls also. It wasn't ever a sensation that bothered Spencer, and by the time they were sixteen they just settled on nonbinary and queer for their oh so important labels.
There were few things Spencer liked as much as being left alone. They didn't want anyone in their business, or in their space. There were times they would allow their siblings in their space, of course, but it was rare for Spencer to let anyone get a glimpse of what was going on in their head. To be honest, they were sick of being told they were different - they knew that already. People always picked such a face and tone to say it with, Spencer almost dreaded opening up to anyone at all.
Leaving Notting Hill had never been an option to Spencer - this was their home, where their siblings and parents were. Despite the strained relationship they had with their mother and father, they would do anything for their siblings - while they were closer to Jasper, they cared very deeply for Rowan and Alana as well. As long as their family was in Notting Hill, so was Spencer.
Watching Jasper go through all the testing for autism, it shone a light on a lot of things about Spencer; and while they had absolutely no interest in getting any tests done themselves, it was probably clear to anyone who really knew them that they fell somewhere on the spectrum. They would be hard pressed to admit it, just like any other personal information, but it just bonds them closer to Jasper, making it possible to understand each other on a level most others don't.
At the end of it all, Spencer is just a deeply guarded individual who can talk a lot about early 2000s anime shows and give you a five paragraph essay on old school horror special effects, but will scoff if you even hint at it being a special interest. They're a little oblivious at times, and tend to be a little short or disinterested, but they really listen if you need to confide in them, and are always willing to lend a helping hand or fun trivia fact about Digimon.

I honestly dont think there is a push for JE, it seems more like his team is working overdrive to make him into star when clearly he isnt. JE upcoming roles scream more desperation grabbing onto anything that comes his way. Miles teller, josh oconnor, damson idris, jeremy pope, kelvin harris jr, taron egerton, paul mescal, austin butler, mike faist (to name a few) have been complimented by big named directors, other actors and journalists. They have also proven to have exceled on screen and on stage and have teams that are doing work in background and dont need to constantly have there names out there.
I think twitter feeds the perception that JE is demand but based outside of twitter and social media people dont really care abour him.
Yea when I say "push", I mean more his TEAM or just Hollywood in general. I don't think it's fans.
Cuz you mentioned several OTHER great names of actors who have at least proven themselves and have gotten critical acclaim for their work, and yet, I rarely see those other actors on covers of tons of magazines or being PUSHED as hard as JE is without even a hit role. Euphoria is popular, but it's still a smaller niche of ppl who watch it and not what I would call "mainstream" entertainment.
JE was in that W magazine video interview the same time that Tom and others who were being considered for Oscars during award season were. I was like..... 🥴 Which one of these actors does not belong? 🤔 Granted.....This was back when Euphoria S2 had not even started filming yet.
Then, there was that recent magazine cover (forget which) that called JE "Generation Z's Leading Man". I'm like, ummmmm..... 🥴 Says WHO??? Did Tom Holland or Timothée Chalamet up and die or smthg? 👀 (Actually, Timmy is prob a millennial come to think of it lol)
Idk... it's just really strange imo.
He hasn't even done a lead role in a major motion picture on the big screen yet, and they're already calling him Gen Z's Leading Man lol rofl 🤣
Oh well.... I just hope he can live up to the hype that is already being pushed on him. 🤷🏾♀️
