Dear fellow Ranma 1/2 enjoyers:

For the love of what's good and just please avoid the old Ranma fan scanlation manga as much as possible, the amount of deceiving translation inaccuracies is really infuriating.

Was about to part with the 2022 calendar, but… throwing stuff away is hard, so I thought "yeah, I'm just gonna use the white backsides as notepads, so it's not wasted" … but yeah, quickly changed my mind because… I mean, white semi-sturdy paper? Who am I to deny it the right be drawn on?

Asked my nephew who I should draw and he said Son Goku, but I've drawn him before, so that wasn't really gonna be that fun and we agreed on Piccolo instead. Sometimes, while drawing characters, you notice things in the designs you hadn't really payed attention because and that's always quite the journey. As I was working on his headwear I was thinking of Mojo Jojo's helmet due to the shape, the whiteness and the curved lines. Then I looked up Mojo Jojo to convince myself that they looked nothing alike, but then I realized they both have capes with pointy shoulder parts and they also have green skin... How do I keep my brain from getting off track?

I decided to try and draw a character for each week, so all the backsides will be filled by the end of the year. They were all gonna be characters I've never drawn before, but I kinda already broke that rule by drawing Shampoo for the second one. Though I had only drawn her human form before, so maybe this doesn't count? Yeah, I'm gonna say it doesn't count as it is a design I hadn't drawn before. Had no idea what to do with the background, so I basically just threw things on it. Background for a cat? MORE cats! Ingenious.

I plan to color them. Depending on how well paint with work on this type of paper and if the lineart is waterproof enough to handle paint, this might either improve them by quite a bit or end in regret. Coloring them will also make getting one per week done even harder, but I stopped believing I can make that happen while still working on Piccolo, so we're off to a good start. :3

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in spite of his bluntness and insensitivity, Ranma Saotome does want Akane Tendo to cradle him in her big strong arms, yes?

... I'm kind of screaming.... INWARDLY....

They weren't joking when they said they were remaking this beautiful series... holy smokes...

I gotta hurry up and finish my rewatch...

....... I'm barely in season one, episode 8.... ;____;

But either way, it will give me time. By the time I catch it on whichever streaming platform is bringing it. Supposedly they'll be putting it on Netflix, but if it's just the Japan Netflix, I'm gonna have to wait, until U.S. Netflix buys the rights to show it.

if they do that. ... If not, I'm gonna have to find it somewhere, somehow.

Best Anime Series, aside from Sailor Moon. These were my go to series for everything, especially inspiration to create my own characters.

Noticeably she had already been developing love feelings for Ranma kun,I guess that in the arc that we can detect how both grow respectful and fond of  to the other and even begin to treat each other slightly better.It’s surely the good approach to solve their  misunderstandings.

So I already knew Ranma 1/2 in general is a big influence on Scott Pilgrim but I think this SPECIFIC Ranma movie might’ve been influential after watching it:

Ranma has to fight 7 lucky gods themed martial artist to rescue Akane form their leader who wants to marry her

One of them is a girl whole the rest are men (Roxie vs the others) and 2 of them come in. A pair (the twins)
