This is basically how I think they behave in a discussion lol

Ryoga is always more willing to defend Akane at first even when she's wrong, but eventually after everyone calms down I see him being the glue that makes Ranma and Akane get along.

But of course, this is considering that in this AU they become a policule and certain dynamics adapt to this new model of them connecting XD

I'll be posting more Ranma content soon, both about the headcanon and fanart in general. I promise to maintain consistency online this year :)

OBLIVIOUS AU

what if Ranma didn't put two and two together? what if Ryoga didn't mention falling into the cursed waters? this AU is all about it! One night during the rain Akane found the little piggy and brought him to the dojo, and all of them fell in love with it! except Ranma, so as the days go by in Akanes Care he falls in love with her, but one night Ranma asks Akane for him that night and Ryoga knows something is going to happen. so he struggled so much to get out of harm's way, but as Ranma closes his door... he spins around and coos at P-chan and obsessives over him!! what?! Since when does Ranma feel love?!

with this new side of Ranma no one has seen before, Ryoga wants to stay close and permanently stay in the Tendo household. I mean, he doesn't have anyone or anywhere to go to in the real world. eventually, Ryoga finds himself falling in love with him instead.

this evolves around a simp pig and an unexpectedly soft Ranma!

[ Ranma will occasionally turn into a girl but it won't be the main focus of this AU since Ryoga loves his male form - apparently, he's a male muscles pig ]

in the past in the all-boys school, the two immediately became enemies from the moment the war for food commenced however they eventually started sparring during school and out. eventually, out of the spur of the moment, they eventually started liking and dating, however, they still hated each other's guts! there's no fine line between rivalry and love between these two idiots and when it's their love it's intense.

this revolves around their hatred and secret lustful encounters!

If we’re gonna make this a full blown Ranma 1/2 it should actually go something like this.

Narrator: Shinji Ikari of the Ikari School Of Anything Goes Giant Robot Piloting. Asuka Langley Soryu Of the Soryu Aeronautics Training Center. Their dear mothers decided that they should be engaged.

Shinji: “You shouldn’t decide something like that for other people!”

Asuka: “Like I’d marry a weak looking idiot like him!”

Shinji: “And why should I marry loud girl like her!?”

Asuka: “We are not going through with this Aberwitz!”

Narrator: There’s just one thing complicating Shinji’s life. When splashed with cold water Shinji becomes a girl.

THIS PLOT BUNNY WON’T LEAAAAAAVE!!!

(If I already said this before, shhhhh, no, I didn’t! /j)

Ok, so Ryuga (He didn’t die, but I haven’t decided how and I probably never will) and Kyoya are together, and one of the Rules set in place when they’re in public is that Kyoya is supposed to eat everything set before him. Bonus affection, somewhen, if Kyoya actually ordered a food at all.

So, in a Ranma 1/2 crossover where Ryuga is participating in the Extreme Parkour tournament with a free ticket to China as the prize (Ryoga was the winner cuz Ranma 1/2 is a comedy at its core) because Training/He’s Bored/Wanna Be The Very Best.

We’re putting him in something that *isn’t* a Beybattle, and Ranma 1/2 is literally “Anything Goes,” where putting yourself in danger is often treated as a joke, so L-Drago can only be taken so fearful to the ninja-powers crew even if we keep the canon “IT CHANGED THE WAYS WARS WERE WAGED” and mini-nuke explosion steel-destroying strength as is.

Because Reasons, Kyoya is relegated to being a spectator, BUT we take Ukyo out of the equation (to balance out the number of competitors) where Kyoya went up and—basically he’s her sugar daddy until he and Ryuga have to leave, with how much he’s spam-ordering the okonomiyaki.

With Ukyo isn’t available in the tag-team, the next question is who does Ryuga team up with (I think the announcer guy said that they can’t go solo?). Do we pair them together? Do we go with my joke that Ryoga’s fuckin’ “On your left”-ing Ryuga all over Japan? Would it be funnier if someone else (maybe Ryoga still) won even if Ryuga TECHNICALLY won the battles he waged along the way, or he still keeps stomping everyone? Or do we stick with the classic that he’s a winner?

When Ryuga got back and met up with Kyoya-and-now-Ukyo, Kyoya already ate enough okonomiyaki that he would have to skip dinner to not vomit anything out. This makes Ryuga jealous cuz takes *great pride* in being the (main) cook, and Kyoya felt like pissing him off that day. (Imagine if (almost) every fucking time we cut back to Ukyo and Kyoya talking or some shit, he’s already on another okonomiyaki like that episode where the old guy had Ukyo feed him enough okonomiyaki that he begged her to stop. Just to punch the revenge gag in).

And he had by then had overtipped Ukyo just enough money to afford that ticket to China anyway lol

I normally don't write AUs, but occasionally a thought will hit me. I have outlines and some wranglings of an AU that is sooooo similar to OG's post. Akane as the Pop Idol, Ranma as her bodyguard. Yes, it's a huge trope, but my brain has had fun, anyway. Throw in the idea that Akane isn't actually wanting to be a Pop Idol, but has gotten roped into an American Idol style competition to win a jackpot to pay for Kasumi's medical treatments...and life gets very interesting.

My ranma AU where akane is a pop idol and ranma is a boxer!!! I imagine they’re in their 20s’. But they are secretly dating because their management doesn’t allow it! I have To practice on my IPAD more !!! Apologies for inconsistency. ^w^

Rwby Ranma 1/2 au (plus my weird ideas at the bottom)

So I had this bits of idea posing as an fanfic idea for a bit and here what is basically. Certain Rwby characters fell into one of the spring at some point. I had other ideas but that would be at the end because my mind doesn’t go from 0 to 60, it goes from 0 to teleports behind you.

Jaune fell into the spring of the drowned girl (obviously, and thought him turning into a faunus girl because his mother was a faunus), Ruby fell into wolf, Weiss into Fox, Neptune into cat, Adam into the spring of the drowned child (because edgelord line coming from a child with never not be funny), and Penny into either the spring of drowned girl or boy (I wanted to have a trans Pinocchio and I’ll stick to it).

Qrow and Raven are cursed to turn into a crow and raven but learned how to transform back and forth from Ozpin where he teaches Jaune, Ruby, and Weiss to do the same.

Also Cardin does not recognize Jaune’s female form and thinks it’s a different person while having a crush of Jaune’s female form. Almost Everyone figures out but him. I did think of having Yang be cursed to turn into a guy and Sun into a girl to give Blake Bi-panic, but it would have been too many cursed people. There was also Jaune and Blake being betrothed to make it kinda like Ranma and Akane, but decided against it.

Now into the weird part because my mind is weird. You don’t have to use this, this is just what I wanted to do if I write it. Jaunes is cursed to turn into a female faunus, but later learns his female form is the reincarnation of the faunus god with powers over change and reacts accordingly (screaming for an hour and doesn’t know how to use it, accidentally turning Torchwhich in a faunus at the end of vol 1 before he knew and permanently turning Adam into a child with no memories of what happened before he was 5 at the fall of beacon). Zwei is accidentally turned into a real boy. Mercury forms a poly with Penny and Ruby and swaps sides. Adam wants to use Jaune’s power to turn everyone into a faunus. Cinder is a Yandere. Pyrrha survives but losses a leg. And Every ship is either a crack or rarepairing, except Renora.

If we’re doing a full blown Ranma AU we need some romantic rivals.

Kaworu is certainly Shampoo in this AU. He’s honor bound to marry the female version of Shinji but likes the male version much better.

Kensuke is Ryoga clearly. He’s Shinji’s friend turned rival whose in love with Asuka, but is not quite as good at combat as Shinji.

I guess that makes Mari Ukyo. Mari is the daughter of a fish and chips shop owner who promised her to Shinji, but while she wouldn’t mind marrying Shinji is friendly with both Shinji and Asuka.

I don’t think any Eva character would work as Kuno or Kodachi but I’m open to suggestions.
