Breath of the Wild is my first Legend of Zelda game I played through on my own. I want to dip my toes into some of the others but for now there will be a lot of BotW/TotK stuff.

I like the idea of the Linked Universe au but apparently I can’t tag for shit.

Guilty Pleasures: i would say eating ass but he doesn’t feel extremely guilty about that. he does feel silly about how much he values nice wine and authentic food.

OC You Ship Them With: his boyfriend Sunan Chakpitak ❤❤❤ they make for such a good classic introvert/extrovert pair. su has helped luke feel more comfortable living openly as a gay man. for the onlookers: luke was in a relationship with another man for several years, who was controlling and abusive, all while luke wasn’t out to his family. luke was dumped when he refused to come out to his family. he met sunan some months later on a dating app. su has helped luke feel more comfortable as himself and eventually come out to his family without feeling rushed.

OC Most Likely To Murder Them: nobody he’s too nice and quiet

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: ok he does like marvel superhero movies

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: he hates films about wars. there are far too many movies (and books) about fictional people in world war II, specifically.

Talents and/or Powers: he’s a great photographer of course. he’s also played the bass guitar for many years, and he has a sexy singing voice. has played piano since he was a small child. played the trombone for many years in band. he’s also....a really good dancer? his parents run a dance studio; and while luke was never formally taught himself, he was present and absorbed many things. he knows a lot of the standard dances, and also a lot of dances from music videos over the years, especially boy band dances from the 1990s. does being an avid runner and formerly a student athlete in cross-country count as a power? it does to me, a lazy achy person.

Why Someone Might Love Them: he is very thoughtful and conscientious, definitely the type to ruminate over something before speaking. very loyal--he’s been close with his best friend since they were freshmen in college. also he can be funny as fuck

Why Someone Might Hate Them: he has a tendency to lean negative and even pessimistic.

How They Change: one incident stands out in my mind, and that is of course the fateful thanksgiving dinner when luke’s family found out the truth. luke is the middle of 7 siblings, in a very large italian family; and he’s also the only one who’s “single,” about which he gets teased and prodded often. the first thanksgiving that luke is dating sunan, he brings su to NOLA with him for the holiday with his family. this isn’t weird, as luke has brought his male best friend many times in the past. luke has always been one of the quietest ones in his family, a wallflower, often forgotten and left behind. he is finally fed up with all of the shit his family gives him and is ready to hit them with the truth, stating that sunan is his boyfriend, not just his friend, they are romantic lovers in a relationship. there is some bristling in response, and finally the quiet, doormat, wallflower middle brother blows a gasket for the first time in his life, standing up at the dinner table in the middle of thanksgiving dinner, and yelling in the top of his lungs in a mixture of italian and english how fucking sick he is of being walked on, and only remembered when they ask him about a wife; and if they don’t like him being gay, he is ready to cut them out of his life because he’s tired of hiding and walking on eggshells. his entire family is stunned, especially when he tells interrupters to shut the hell up in the middle of his rant. he then leaves the table with sunan, they pack their shit, and leave to find a hotel until they can fly back to where they live.

after that, he has slowly become more comfortable as identifying himself openly as a gay man; and is now more likely to protest when someone is taking advantage of him.

Why You Love Them: he’s a moody southern boy, which i have a slight weakness for. a lot of his personality comes from my own.

Hey there! I just heard about your ring tonight and it looks really interesting! I love fantasy aus! I have a question though. My muse idea I had was for someone to be half human/half mermaid. Would that be allowed? So similar to a pixie except their magical parent is a merperson. They wouldn’t have the mer form but they would be able to hold their breath a long time and swim well. Could you let me know if they would be allowed or if I need to return to the drawing board?

Thanks for your question! A “hybrid species” that is half human is most certainly welcome, so long as it affects their biology and magic accordingly. 

If you’d wanted to do a more ambitious combination (eg; Coldblood + Elemental, Shifter + Warmblood, Elemental + Faerie) we’d be a bit more critical with you, since it’ll be a more complex hybrid. We’d appreciate a nice explanation of how your muse looks and what kind of magic they have. We’re excited to see how creative you can get with our lore! Feel free to askany questions during the process; we already have one wix + fire sprite combo, Sylvia, and we’d be delighted to welcome other combinations!

i’m not, actually! i just got home from work a little while ago, and at work music plays all day so i’m enjoying some quiet time before i have to go back tomorrow.

i’m way too indecisive, and there are so many somgs i love, for me to choose a favorite ever!! right now i can’t stop listening to the sound and somebody else by the 1975. i’ve also been a massive fan of fall out boy for 12 years and...i love too many of their songs to name.

It’s probably because of all the extra stuff she’s sending too. Check please was just released at Barnes and Nobles and other book stores like last month so that’s probably why amazon has such quick access to it too

There was just an update about the kickstarter books. She is expecting shipping to begin Late November/Early December. (The Y3 campaign books that are self published, not the Y1&2 compilation published by First Second)

Do you mean the compilation book of years 1 and 2 that are being sold? Those have been available since mid September. This Kickstarter was for year 3.
