Underzero is a WIP Au by us, (us being @sariels-world-ella and @strawberry-lemonade38 ) where the surface world was plummeted into a nuclear winter destroying most of the surface world, but the barrier managed to sheild the underground from the damage and radiation but plummeted them in a deep winter as well.

Dr. W.D Gaster is a brillant scientist with old man/single dad who tries too hard, and has sad man at a walmart vibes who just wants the best for Sans and Papyrus. He is the one who theoriezed that the surface world was in a nuclear winter but Toriel and Asgore didn't really believe that claim, and with Chara refusing to comfirm it, no one really believed him (besides Sans, Papyrus and Riverperson, though Riverperson pretended not to just so they can playfully mess with Gaster)

Riverperson was a boat ferry worker who changed their boat into a sled after the tempature massive decreassing. They like to speak in rhyme, say crypic things, and being a bit of a prick in an endearing playful way. They were one of the few monsters that Gaster really thought of as a friend, but it's not entirely certain if Riverperson returns this friendship setiment.

Gaster: "WHY DOES NO ONE BELIEVE ME?"

Sans and Papyrus: "We believe you!"

Gaster: "IF I TOLD YOU THE MOON WAS MADE OF CHEESE, YOU WOULD BELIEVE ME WITHOUT QUESTION, BUT THANK YOU FOR TRUSTING ME." disjointed one frame comics---- (it's like 9 degrees kelvin in the void.)

------ Gaster: "RIVER, YOU'RE MY ONLY FRIEND PLEASE SAY YOU BELIEVE ME!!! ALSO, HOW DID YOU CONVERT YOUR BOAT IN A SLED SO FAST?" River: "Friend? Oh, I thought you were just too lazy to teleport home every day." Gaster: "RIVER, PLEASE!!!!!"

Wanted to draw doctor Law for you anyway but it's a good opportunity to dump it here, since it's my first new year post!

Most things Law likes in canon are a product of the tragedies he had to experience, so if he had that hypothetical normal life, I think he'll have this incurable sea (is calling) sickness.
