pretty in pink | logan howlett
an: this comes straight from my delusional mind
dad!logan (you can choose if you want this to be an old man logan fic!!)
All week your daughter, Ada, had been reminding everyone about her sixth birthday that was coming up. She made sure you and Logan marked it on every calendar in the house. During dinner, all she talked about was her pink princess themed party.
“And the cake has to be pink!” She said for the hundredth time. She sat in her chair at the table completely forgetting she was supposed to be eating her spaghetti.
“We know, bub. You told us everyday before and after school.” Logan said.
“I told the girls in my class to come too. They said they wouldn’t come because we’re freaks.” Her excitement about the party died down.
Laura, now a teenager, gave her sister an encouraging smile. “They’re the freaks. You’re the coolest girl in school. That means we get to have all the cake.” That earned a laugh from Ada. Logan chuckled, it warmed his heart to see his daughter’s bond.
“Your party is going to be the best, my love,” You stood up and grabbed your and Logan’s plate that were now empty. “Finish up and then get ready for bed, both of you.” You walked to the kitchen sink and began to wash the dishes.
Laura immediately challenged Ada to see who could finish their spaghetti first. After a scolding from their parents, Laura let Ada win. Soon, the sisters raced upstairs to get ready for bed.
As you and Logan finished cleaning, you couldn’t help but think about your little girl. Your sweet innocent little girl didn’t deserve to be called a freak. Your thoughts were interrupted when a car pulled up to your driveway. You weren’t expecting anyone, especially not at this hour.
“Stay here.” Logan said to you after he wiped his hands on a dish rag. He walked out the door ready to confront whoever it was. The car’s headlights were blinding him, but once he heard the familiar voice call his name, he put away his claws.
Inside you were still wondering who it was. Before you could join Logan outside, Ada had run down the stairs already in her princess pajamas.
“Mommy, who’s outside?” She asked you. Her question was answered when Logan walked in with Rogue by his side. Ada screamed in excitement when she saw her other sister. “You’re here! You’re here!” The little girl ran to Rogue and gave her a welcoming hug.
“I wouldn’t want to miss your princess party.” Rogue picked up the girl.
“Are you going to sleep in my room? Dad got some new books for me!”
“Oh you bet we’re going to stay up all night reading those books! I’ll be up in a few, let me talk to mom and dad for a sec,” Rogue set her down. The adults watched as Ada happily skipped up the stairs to her room. “Alright, what’s wrong?” She looked at you and Logan.
“What? Nothing wrong, why are you asking?” Logan asked surprised by her question.
Rogue knew she wasn’t going to get a straight answer from Logan so she looked at you. You sighed and told your daughter the truth. You were nervous about Ada’s party. A few of her classmates did tell her they were attending, but you were convinced they were only coming to make fun of her and ruin her big day.
“Those little shits ain’t going ruin my girl’s party.” Logan added.
“Honey, those little shits are first graders.” You corrected him.
“Little shits or not, Logan’s right. This is Ada’s party and she’s going to have the best damn princess party in the world.” Rogue declared. Before she left, she gave you and Logan a kiss on the cheek then walked up the stairs to Ada’s room.
Logan noticed that you still had a concerned look on your face. “Hey, Ada is going to be okay.”
“I just don’t want my little girl to get hurt.” You said.
“I won’t let anything or anyone hurt any of my girls.” Logan reminded you.
With that, you and Logan finished cleaning and went up to Laura’s room to say goodnight. As you reached Ada’s room, you saw her and Rogue already asleep. You quietly took the book out of Rogue’s hand and put it back on the bookshelf then adjusted the blanket over your daughters. You gave them both a goodnight kiss and left the room.
In the morning, Ada was the first to wake up. She ran to yours and Logan’s room as fast as she could and jumped on to the bed screaming that it was her birthday. Logan groaned since she had landed on his stomach.
“Wake up! It’s my birthday!” She giggled as Logan sat up and brought her into his arms.
“How old are you today? Eighty? Ninety seven?” He watched as Ada’s smile dropped.
“No, that’s you!”
You were trying so hard to hold in your laugh, but failed. Logan playfully rolled his eyes. It was Ada’s day, he wasn’t going to get mad at her on her special day.
“Okay birthday girl, I believe your sisters promised a special birthday breakfast just for you.” Logan told Ada.
The now six year old gasped as soon as she heard ‘special breakfast’. She immediately jumped off the bed and ran downstairs to the kitchen where Laura and Rogue were making breakfast.
Logan sighed deeply and rolled over to his side, his eyes meeting yours. “Remember . . . Everything is going to be okay today.”
You hummed in response.
Eventually you and Logan joined the girls in the kitchen. Laura and Ada were throwing grapes into each others mouth while Rogue laughed at them failing miserably. Ada had thrown a grape so far from Laura that it hit Logan’s head when he walked in.
“Ada! You hit an elderly man!” Rogue teased.
“Kids.” Logan rolled his eyes yet again.
As a family you all sang happy birthday to Ada as Rogue placed a stack of pancakes topped with whipped cream and Ada’s favorite fruits. The little girl’s smile brought joy to her family.
“Wait, let me get the camera!” You ran to the cabinet that had random items inside. You grabbed the camera and snapped a couple of pictures of your girls and Logan.
It was a beautiful start to a beautiful day.
As the day went on, Rogue and Laura helped decorate the backyard with princess themed decorations. Ada was too busy running around in her pink princess dress to help. Logan was inside blowing up balloons until members of the x-men started showing up.
“Is that the big bad wolverine in a plastic tiara?” Scott Summers chuckled at the sight of Logan wearing a tiara that Ada had given him.
“Watch it, I don’t want you bleeding all over my daughter’s party when I—” Before Logan could finish, Ada joined them with more tiaras in hand. She gave one to every member telling them they couldn’t enter her party if they didn’t wear it.
And that’s how Scott Summers ended up with a plastic pink tiara on his head.
Ada was enjoying her party so far. A couple of classmates did end up attending. You saw as they played on the swing set that Logan had bought for Ada for her last birthday.
“Hey, sweetheart.” Logan said as he stood beside you.
“Hey,” you relaxed more when he was close to you. “Did you see the big box Storm brought for Ada? I bet it’s a big doll house.”
“You’re wrong. It’s definitely a large case of beer for me and you to enjoy when our girls are passed out.”
You chuckled. “After this, no more parties until next year.” You placed a kiss on his lips.
“Whatever you say . . .” He got another kiss in before Ada came running to you with a butterfly knife in hand and the biggest smile on her face.
“Mommy! Daddy! Uncle Wade got me a pretty knife!”
“Uncle Wade?!” “What the fuck!” You and Logan yelled at the same time.
“Hey mommy milf dearest! Peanut! Guess my invite got lost in the mail . . . again. I’m starting to think it’s on purpose. Harsh! Whatever, hey kids! Who wants to learn how to use this baby!” He held up his gun.
“Wade, No!”

Hiii!!!
I know that you have a lot of other fics to write but I couldn’t get this idea out of my head
So imagine the reader and Azriel have a daughter and she’s 3 and she has a crush on a boy in her daycare’s class, and when she got home with the reader, Azriel heard her talking about him to the reader, so the next day Azriel decides to pick her up from daycare and when he sees the boy, he’s just glaring at him
I don’t really know if this makes sense but overprotective Az is so🤭…
THANK YOUUU💗💗💗
Overprotective Bat
Summary: No one is allowed to talk to Azriel's Princess.
•○●⛦●○•
A/n: Anon, i love you soo much for sending this in. I loved writing it, i literally giggled when you sent this in lol
Enjoy!
•○🌑○•
"And then what happened?"
Azriel's shadows became alert, rushing to crowd against the windows to watch as their favourite two people walked upto the door. Azriel smiled, putting away the report he was revising before he had to send it to Rhysand, getting ready to be bombarded with all the details from his daughter's- Hazel's- day at the daycare.
"Kaden asked me to play with him." The smile that appeared on Azriel's face when he heard his little princess's voice faded when he realised what she had said, and he stiffened, his hand hovering above his desk. He turned his head just slightly, wondering who this he was.
"And did you play with him?" The jangling of the keys sounded as Y/n opened the door, and their voices were louder when they next spoke.
"Yes mommy! We played hide and seek first, and the he pushed me while I sat on the swing."
Y/n hummed as Azriel began descending the stairs faster than his wings could have carried him.
"So you like him?"
Y/n's tone was teasing, and Azriel could hear Hazel giggling, but he did not like this conversation one bit, and he felt the need to stop it from progressing.
So he walked out, a huge smile on his face that was at odds with the way he was feeling.
"Daddy!" Hazel's eyes lit up, and her smile widened as she ran towards him, her arms splayed wide. Some of the tension in the spymaster's shoulders lessened, and he picked her up, clutching her wiggling body to his chest. He tried to kiss her cheek, which only ended up in her giggling loudly while trying to push him away because she thought he was trying to tickle her.
Y/n met Azriel's eyes and smiled wide, walking over to peck his cheek.
"I'm going to go and get changed, don't do something to get in trouble."
He huffed indignantly, meeting his daughter's eyes. "As if I do anything to get in trouble."
She giggled, clinging to him. he swayed a little, pressing a kiss to her forehead before he set her down. "Come, let's get you changed too."
Hazel nodded, reaching up to wrap her fingers around his finger. Her small fingers wrapping around his big, scarred hands always had an overwhelming amount of pride and joy coursing through him.
"So, what happened in your daycare today?"
And so began the onslaught of details from his little princess's day.
•○🌑○•
Azriel did not like going to pick his daughter up from her daycare, but only because he did not want to scare the other people who had come to pick their kids up.
But now his motive was exactly that as he stood right next to the gates, his wings tucked tightly to his back so no one could touch them.
And he would say he was succeeding in his mission. It was like there was an invisible wall surrounding him, and everyone tried to stay away from him. He just hoped the boy's parent was also in the crowd, so when they found out exactly who Hazel's father was, they would tell him to stay away from her.
Proud of himself and very nearly patting himself on the back, he waited for his little girl.
The door to the daycare opened, and all the children spilled out, running, giggling and screaming, across the playground towards their parents.
Azriel spied a head of hair the same as his, two small braids adoring her little head, and grinned slightly.
Though his grin vanished when he found her holding the hand of a boy, smiling and walking up to the gates.
The moment her eyes landed on him, she gasped, tugging on the boys hand while pointing, and Azriel could read her lips as she yelled, that's my daddy!
She let go of the boy's hand and ran- waddled, really- up to her father, who could not contain his smile.
He leaned down, his arms reaching out to grab her the moment she was close enough. She squealed as he hauled her up against himself, peppering kisses on every inch of her chubby little face.
"Did my princess miss daddy today?"
"Yes daddy!" Then, as if she just remembered, she turned her head and beckoned to the boy she had been holding hands with. The boy's eyes were wide as he stared at Azroel's huge form, his massive wings, his shadows. Azriel flared his wings a little just for the sake of it.
If possible, the boy's eyes went wider, and his steps faltered, meeting Azriel's eyes.
And Azriel knew that he was being an asshole, but he glared at the boy with no restraint.
The boy's eyes filled with tears, and he turned away, sprinting back towards the daycare, his hands held to his eyes to staunch the tears.
Azriel instantly felt guilty, and when his daughter turned to him with furrowed brows, he wanted to run to the boy and apologise. But before he could do anything, a voice spoke up.
"I am glad you feel guilty."
Azriel froze, glancing back at his mate sheepishly.
She shook her head, taking Hazel from Azriel, kissing her cheeks before setting her down. "I knew you had ulterior motives when you asked me if you could pick Hazel up today. You need to stop being such an overprotective bat."
Azriel kissed Y/n's forehead in hopes that she would let him off easy, but she glared at him when he pulled away.
"Mommy? Is Kaden angry with me?"
"No darling, he maybe just got scared. You can talk to him tomorrow and let him know there is nothing to be scared of."
Azriel couldn't stop the scoff that escaped him, and Y/n turned to stare him down.
"Sorry." He mumbled lowly before grabbing Hazel's hand. "Do you want to have some ice cream before we go home?"
Y/n opened her mouth to protest, but Hazel and her father were already running away.

Dirty Grimes - rick grimes x reader
Tw: slight age gap (reader is 22 and rick is in his 40s) Cheating, P in V, slight bondage, rick is kind of rough. And a slight size kink. Plus squirting and creampie.
This is an AU where the apocalypse has never happened! Carl is a collage student who was a childhood friend. Lots of plot but I will give a warning on where the smut starts so if u want to skip the plot and head straight to the spice, do as u please!
“C’mon baby it’s not that bad, stop worrying about shit.” Carl huffs shaking his head in a annoyed way.
Look I love him to death Don’t get me wrong, but I dread coming over to his parents house over the holidays. My father ran out on my family when I was little, my mom was diabetic and she always had hospital bills up to her neck. So I was a bit of a problem child, until high school came and I worked my ass off for a full ride scholarship to Stanford. I’ve known Carl since middle school he always had a crush on me but I’d shoot him down and tell him when we get older we’d get married. Well I guess that wish came true.
I look down at the huge diamond on my finger. Me, Y/N summers, becoming a grimes? Who would’ve thought it. When I said yes it felt like the world stopped, but as time went on Carl got distant, stressed. He seemed easily annoyed by me. Plus that fact that I can’t help but to be scared of his father. Sherif grimes. He caught me vandalizing a classroom with spray paint once in middle school. He scared me shitless, but Carl stood up for me and helped my mom bail me out. Safe to say whenever I come over Rick always seems so, intense. The way he carries himself as if I’m a rabbit and he’s waiting to pounce on his prey. It scares me shitless, to be frank! And his marriage hasn’t been doing to good, last time I came over Lori and him wouldn’t talk or extange glances, no his eyes were too busy studying me, picking me apart as if he’s trying to read me like a book.
“Just calm down, you’re overreacting like usual.” Carl says as he brings the car to a stop, placing it in park. I scoff shaking my head at his antics.
“Overreacting? That’s what you want to tell your fucking fiancé before she tells her future in laws that she’s getting married to their son?” I scoff.
“I’m done arguing with you.” he sighs running a hand through his long hair. “It’s only arguing because you can’t have a normal conversation without acting like you hate me!” I scream frustration enveloping my body. “I should’ve never asked you to marry me then, my sincerest apologies.” He coldly says while walking out the car to the front door without me. I sit back contemplating what he just said. It broke my heart. I catch up to him wiping the tears that escaped my face, my eyes puffy and nose red, but I guess I can chalk it off as the allergies during spring break. He knocks and to my surprise Lori opens the door, yet I could see the clunky mascara and the bloodshot puffy eyes. She had been crying.
“Hiii! Oh my baby’s back” she smiles widely a genuine smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes like usual, and that glow that had once been her flame, has been burnt out into ash. It’s apparent on her hunched shoulders and the way she frowns when nobody looks.
“And look at you Y/N! All grown up and in collage.” She smiles and hugs me tightly. I always loved Lori, she was sweet to me, because she knew I grew up less fortunate than others.
“Hi lor how you doing?” I smile as I embrace her into a tight hug. I could feel her hiccup and take deep breaths.
“I’m living, at least I can be grateful for that.” She smiles tightly as she sees rick walk down the stairs to us.
“Hey, you wanna talk later?” I ask nudging her. She just nods and puts her fake smile back on as rick walks right past her and to Carl.
“Hey! My boys back.” He hugs Carl tightly while leaning back gripping his shoulders. “Man your old now! what’re you like fifty?” Rick teases as Carl rolls his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. “Tha’d make you what? About seventy?” Carl quipped back and rick holds his hand to his heart. “Touché.” Rick smirks as he looks over to me. Instead of his usual crossed arms and tough guy demeanor, he was cuddly today because he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me in for a generous hug. “How’s my daughter in law huh!” He jokes.
“Doing just fine.” I smile lightly at him. Though in the inside my heart was crushed into a million pieces.
“Well common in dinners ready just in time!” Lori beams walking away, she turns around first motioning to the kicthen. “You wanna help me prepare food Y/N?” She says. I just nod giving Carl a look, he doesn’t even turn to me and ignored my presence, though rick noticed because he turned to me.
“Everything okay?” He asks.
“Peachy.” I reply glaring at Carl while turning and storming off to the kitchen.
As soon as i step in I see Lori breaking down sobbing while holding her mouth to quiet her crying.
“Hey what’s wrong?” I walk up rubbing her shoulder.
“I have been having an affair with ricks partner Shane and he found out about it.” She comes clean.
“And I’m-“ she purses her lips.
“I’m pregnant with his child.” She says sobbing as her shoulders shook.
“It wasn’t supposed to get this bad! I mean rick and I were on a break and it was one time that turned into more times then rick and I got back together and I told him no, but we still went at it anyways a-and I took a pregnancy test and Rick found it.” She spits out fast in her shaky voice.
“I’m so stupid.” She sighs.
“I agree with you on that. There’s so many different ways you could’ve handled this Lori, if you weren’t happy with Rick why didn’t you just tell him?” I frowned at her.
“What about Carl.” She gasps.
“You’re just gonna have to explain things to him, he’ll understand in time.” I say hugging her. We break off setting up the food in the table while calling the boys in to eat. The rest of the night went pretty smooth, everyone laughed a had a good time, well then there was rick, whenever I’d send a nasty look to Carl he’d tune in looking at me with those intense eyes.
“Alright I have something to announce!” I smile as fake as I could. “Carl asked to marry me.” I hold up my hand showing my ring. Out of the side of my vision I could see rick clench his jaw. But Lori gasped while clapping in excitement.
“Oh my baby’s all grown up!” She starts tearing up.
“I’m so happy for you son.” Ricks rasps. Though he looked furious. Cark just tightly smiles wrapping an arm around my waist.
As night fell me and Carl crashed in his childhood room. His walls were filled with comics and superhero’s. I change into my sleep clothes which were some panties and one of carls shirts, I didn’t bother putting on pants, it was way to hot in the summer time. Carl was dead asleep snoring an all, I had a hot flash and was sweating balls. I sigh getting up to walk downstairs and drink a cold glass of water. as I reach the cabinet in the kicthen I stand on my tippy toes trying to reach the last glass on the tallest shelf. I felt a warm calloused hand grip my waist pushing himself against my rear. I could tell it was rick, by his bulky hands and his white tee that was scented of pine and whisky. A man’s scent. Usually it would ick me out, overly manly men, but something about rick made my thighs clench and my tummy flip. I shake my head trying to ban these criminal thoughts of my fiancés father. I call his wife mom so gods sake, pull it together Y/N.
“I saw you strugllin, thought you might need some help.” His raspy voice sounded as sexy as usual, with his thick southern accent.
“Thank you Rick.”
“No problem, sweetheart.” He smirks down at me. He had me slightly caged to the counter, with my ass pressed right against his crotch. I could feel his cold belt buckle pressed tightly to my tramp stamp I got when I was 17. Apparently my shirt rode up my waist when I was struggling to reach for a cup, cause I could feel the cold ac on my bare back. I slightly moved away pulling down my shirt while walking to the fridge grabbing ice and water. I sit down on the island in the kitchen as rick pours himself a glass of whisky while leaning on the counter across from me.
“Couldn’t sleep?” He gruffly says handing me the shot of whisky he poured. I gingerly take it from his hand as my fingers brush his, it sent goosebumps down my spine.
“It was too hot upstairs, I needed some air.” I say with a tight lipped grin. I shot back the whisky quickly sliding the glass back to him, he fills up the whisky glass again but this time he take it down with no struggle, licking the corner of his mouth as some dripped down his chin. I could feel myself clench around nothing. That had to be the hottest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
“Lori told you bout Shane, huh?” He chuckles shaking his head. I could see the tears brim his eyes. I couldn’t help but to feel bad for the man. His wife is pregnant by the man he called his brother.
“Yeah.” My throat suddenly felt dry.
“I’m sorry Rick.” I say chewing the bottom of my lip.
“Don’t be sweetheart, iss alright.” He huffs.
“We were arguing before that as it is anyway, it was bound to happen.” He shakes his head. While he looks down he nods over to your ring.
“So engaged huh? Carl better be treatin you well.” He swallows thickly as his intense blue eyes scan over my body. I felt like a peace of meat.
“He treats me just fine.” I clear my throat.
“Does he though?” Rick quips back. My jaw slacks in shock, not knowing what to say.
“I say you arguing in the car from the window. Seemed like whatever he said hurt?” He presses on.
“He said he wished he never asked to marry me.” I swallow thickly and slightly chuckle as tears run down my cheeks.
“Maybe I’m sensitive, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt like hell.” My wobbly lips smile at him. I look down as tears run down my cheeks. Rick slowly stalks towards me, running his calloused thumb across my cheek collecting my tears.
“What a shame. If you were mine, I would treat you better sweetheart.” He whispers.
At first I couldn’t believe his words. If I were his?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SMUT STARTS NEOOOW >-<!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“What do you mean rick?” I whisper back. I could feel the tension between us, so thick it was hard to breathe.
“What I said sweetheart. I could treat you better.” He slowly trails his hands up my thighs in a soothing back and fourth motion.
“Tell me to stop and I will.” He whispers trailing his hands up my shirt gripping my breasts firmly as his thumb nudges the bud of my breasts massaging them slowly.
I gasp leaning into his touch while rubbing my thighs together for friction. It’s been awhile since Carl had touched me. I was horny and deprived.
“Y/N tell me to stop, and that this is wrong.” He groans out as he feels my legs wrap around his hips bringing his crotch right down into mine. I moan slightly tilting my head back.
“Can’t, feel s’to good.” My words slurr as I could feel pleasure running up and down my spine in waves. Rick bends down trailing hot sloppy kisses down my neck into my collar bones, sucking at the sensitive spot making me grind down onto him. He growls gripping my hips pulling me back down onto him. I could feel him grinding himself down into me. His chest heaves in needy breaths. I couldn’t help but to whine, it felt so wrong dry humping my fiancés father in his childhood kitchen, but it felt so good at the same time.
“Need you rick.” I moan out.
“Please.” I frown at him showing off my best puppy eyes. I could feel his dick pulse against me.
“Don look at me like that, sweetheart.” He warns. I quickly slide off of the counter dropping to my knees. I trail my hands up ricks black jeans to his thighs and then to his belt. He doesn’t stop me, he just leans against the counter as i tug his jeans and underwear down to his ankles. His dick springs up close to my face. I could see the intricate veins and precum leaking off his pink puffy tip. I slowly get closer placing a peck on the top of his cock. He grunts as his abs contract in pleasure. I slowly take his tip in my mouth hollowing out while flipping my tongue on the base of his cock flattening it out. He groans deeply sucking in a sharp breath. I swallow more of him down my throat with ease. He moans leaning foreword on the counter I was leaned up against, I could feel his hips thrusting in my mouth. I set my hands to the side as he starts thrusting rougher. His small moans and gasps escaping his throat as I could feel him close to his edge. He quickly pulls out lifting my little body up with ease slamming me on top of the counter.
“Such a good girl huh?” He huffs. “If Carl won’t take care of my baby than I will.” He rips my panties off shoving them in his pocket. Getting down on his knees he kisses my cunt and flattening his tongue on my entrance slowly bringing it up to my clit. He begins to ravage my cunt in fast and needy licks and nibbles. It was so hard for me to be quiet as this was probably the hottest sex I’ve ever had. I felt my legs shake on his shoulders and my arms start to wiggle and give out. Rick stands up wiping off his lips that once were sucking needy at my cunt.
“Lay down baby, don’t worry, I’ll take care of you” his raspy voice soothes my nerves as he lines his tip up to my cunt. He pushes in and I almost came from the sheer thickness of his cock. The way it fills me up and stretches my cunt had me salivating. I couldn’t feel a condom though. And my heart skipped a beat.
“Rick what’re doing-“
“Shhh,” he shushes me and it drowns out all my worries. “Gotta fill my princess up? Yeah.” He starts thrusting slowly but roughly into my wet cunt. I clench down on his cock from his filthy words. “Gonna pump you full of cum” he huffs thrusting faster. My tits bounce roughly due to his thrusts. I arch my back covering my mouth to contain the erotic moans flying out. Rick rips my arms off my mouth holding them down on my stomach. “Don’t hold ur moans in.” He huffs. “Let them hear how good I make you feel.” He growls somehow speeding up fucking me into oblivion as I could feel his dick curve up and hit my G spot with every thrust. I couldn’t hold in my moans anymore and I’m pretty sure the next door neighbors heard me. “That’s my good girl, let them know your my slut.” He whimpers as my cunt clench’s tight around his cock. “You like that huh?” His raspy voice chuckles. “Knowing you’re my slut, how I’m filling you up better than he does mmmh.” My lips quiver and I feel my legs shaking. “R-rick I’m about to cum.” I complain trying to push him off. He doesn’t slow down a bit as he brings up an arm rubbing my clit furiously as he snaps his hips down onto mine. “Cmon baby it’s okay, cum for me.” I felt the buildup finally crash down in hot electric waves. My eyes roll to the back of my head as rick relentlessly pounds my cunt not faltering a second as my orgasm hits. I felt liquid spray all over him, he moans as if that was his breaking point snapping his hips one time deep into my cunt spraying my walls white with his thick cum.
“Fuck, you take my cock so good.” He growls pushing deeper into me, filling up my cunt full. He stands there inside of me as we breathe heavily. I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that I just raw dogged my fiancés father in his kitchen. Rick pulls out staring at the cum dripping down my cunt.
“Rick,thank god I’m on the pill, or else we’d be fucked” I sigh trying to slide off the counter. He pushes me back grabbing napkins while cleaning up his mess.
“Lemmie,” he says while tenderly taking care of me. He picks me up carrying my shaky legs to carls room.
“I’m sorry it got carried away, sweetheart.” He mumbled kissing my forehead. He slowly backs up staring into my eyes intensely while walking away.
After that day I didn’t mind going over to carls over the holidays, in fact, I couldn’t wait till thanksgiving hit, even Christmas.

OMG! please more of King Ghost🙏🏻🤤🥵
i gotchu babe.
Being the spare princess of the kingdom never really bothered you much. Really, it was your four older siblings that had much more responsibility than the rest of you. Seventh out of ten in line for the throne? No, you were never destined for the throne of your own kingdom. It’s why you were not all too surprised when your parents informed you that you would be wed to a man in a neighboring kingdom. Although, they never specified which one…
You have been prepared to wed nobility since you were a child. You were trained to act like the perfect, prim and proper princess. Countless hours of teaching you to be the “perfect wife” transformed you into the “perfect” wife, but that never meant you enjoyed a second of it. When you’re a child, you don’t really question everything your parents do. As you grew older, the more you held a certain disdain for the hours of the day dedicated to this training. Day after day, you would learn proper manners, how to sew, play the piano, paint and draw. You were taught the duties of a wife, to care for your husband, to bend to his every whim and wish, to depend on him, and only him. You hated it, loathed it, but it was what you had to do. You had no other choice.
Thankfully, your parents did not neglect your education, although they had some…select pieces of history taken out of your studies. The best tutors in the kingdom were called upon the palace to educate you and your siblings. When you were a child, you were too busy focusing on your teachings and playing to notice the tension in the air, or how you and your family remained unharmed while the kingdom’s village suffered from famine, war, and civil unrest. Your male tutors had deemed some portions of history to be “too violent, too descriptive” for a “young female noble” as yourself. Of course, it wasn’t your fault that you didn’t know about select parts of history when you were older. You didn’t even realize that you didn’t know all that you thought you did later on…
You knew that you were to be sold off for marriage when you were a teenager. To whom, well, that was a mystery. Until recently.
Ghost. King Ghost. Ruler of the Kingdom of Kastron, slayer of any who dares cross him. A skilled and ruthless killer. A machine on the battlefield, a stoic and cold leader.
. . .
“What do you mean?” you blurted out, incredulous.
“It’s been planned for some time now. You’re his betrothed, whether you like it or not, and that’s final.”
You ball your fists, resisting the urge to scream and cry. Instead, you turn your head up high, your brows furrowed in anger as you shoot a glare at your parents.
“I will never marry a killer.”
“You’ll be thankful, one day.” Your father adds, shuffling his papers that he was oh so focused on.
Anger grasped at your throat. You were breathing hard, couldn’t see straight. You felt you had no other choice than to run. So you did. You ran, down the endless hallways, down the stairs, and out into the gardens. Your heart was caught in your throat, a sob building up in your chest as you slowed to a stop. Crumpling into yourself, you grasp your arms, hugging yourself as you try not to sob loudly. It’s what you were born to do, after all. Be the blushing bride.
Oh, he can come, you thought. But you would do everything in your power to make him run and to never take you as his bride.
. . .
Today was the day King Ghost would arrive at your palace. You hoped he would be discouraged by your attitude, enough to see your blatant disgust and leave. You vowed to yourself to make his life more difficult, minute by minute, before he arrived.
Your maids had dressed you in one of your finest dresses, painted your face with makeup, and styled your hair in a flattering manner. You tug at the sleeve of your dress haphazardly, a frown etched on your face.
You didn’t want to see the bastard standing at your doorstep, high and mighty with the stupid helmet he always wore, according to the rumors you’ve heard.
But, alas, here he was. Standing in front of you. A hunk of pure iron armor. Surprisingly, his armor was simple. It wasn’t adorned with precious jewels or carvings. Just simple, smooth iron. A large silver sword was sheathed at his side, the handle a pure black obsidian adorned with a single diamond on the crest of the handle.
The air was thick with tension as you stared at the foreboding creature in front of you. For a moment, you couldn’t move. You couldn’t see his eyes, but you know his gaze was piercing right through you. Your heart beat fast in your chest as you moved into a bow at his feet, disgust rising in your throat.
When you stood, you forced yourself to lock eyes with where you think his eyes are. Your gaze is fierce, unwavering as you opened your mouth to speak.
“Your majesty,” you began. “What a delightful pleasure it is to meet you.”
Your words rang hollow, your interest in his presence glazed with venom.
He stands, stiff as ever, before bowing ever so slightly towards you.
“The pleasure is all mine,” he says gruffly, taking in your appearance for a moment before turning his attention to your father. A shiver runs up your spine as the cold iron seems to fill the room with a certain degree of hostility.
“Come,” your father beckons towards Ghost, urging him to follow him down the palace hall. “We will begin dinner shortly.”
King Ghost does not bother to acknowledge you as he stands by your father. You turn around, rolling your eyes, beckoned by your mother to follow them. Lovely. Wonderful first impression.

Yandere Billy and Stu (1/4)
Your eyes ran over the room you were in, taking in the soft light that went through the window. But Casey had been late, it left feelings of unease and dread into you, and it all made you sick to the stomach, whoever this killer was was sick. But you remembered your promise to Tatum that you were staying over at their house. And you mentally cursed remembering your own words before, ‘i’m not much of a party person’. You hated it,
you remembered when Casey was still here she would always tell everyone about how shy you were and it wasn’t near any good way. She was your childhood friend but despite all the bullying, it left a small void in you she wasn’t here, she had been your best friend since you were kids..you decided against it, it was better to go rest instead of think now, you walked over to the bathroom to get ready for the night.
You brushed your teeth almost absent mindedly before you snapped out of your blissful dream state by a phone call. You weren’t expecting one, since the sun went down. Therefor you knew better than to pick it up, it was night. You recalled your parents words, shaking hand hovering over the phone you picked it up. Lifting the phone to your ear you heard a little static. You raised a brow and held the phone tighter, “…”“Not even a hello?” it hadn’t sounded familiar. Surely distinct, “Who is this? Do i know you..?” She quipped on the phone, but not in a snarky remark.
“Just wanted to have a little talk, or is this the wrong number?”, Y/N being unsure gripped the telephone a bit tighter, twirling the wire around it was a nervous habit, “This is the wrong number, bye.” “But i’m wanting to play a little game~” It sounded mockingly playful it frustrated her a bit, she shoved the phone back into the receiver, hand trembling.
It rung again, two rings to be exact this time, and she answered, she couldn’t get a word out. “You hung up again, why is that..” “..Y/N?”
This was all too fast. Mentally she cursed before clutching the phone tighter, “W-what do you want from me?..” She whimpered quietly, leaving the other ‘person’ on the phone to laugh loudly. “Isn’t that simple? Look how gullible you are. Little y/n.”
Tears rolled down her chubby cheeks immediately, she knew who this was. He was Casey’s murderer, it was this sick bastard. In a fast movement she threw the phone and broke into quiet sobs, flocking to the door and reaching to lock it only for her heart to drop into her stomach in realization it was wide open. She pierced the figure’s ears with her loud scream. Her hands pawing at his own to let go, sobbing cut off as their fingers wrapped around Y/N’s windpipe. She was devoid of any noise. She reached for the mask, with choked blabbering only on deaf ears. It tilted their head away mockingly when she reached for the mask. She shot up, elbow slamming into the figure’s side, they let out a loud grunt. “You little—“ They didn’t get a word out before Y/n swung at the figure again. Ensuring they stayed down.
Pushing the figure off of her she gasped for air. Throwing her body back against the counter and holding onto it’s edge. Standing up and taking off in a fast bolt towards the stairs, the figure left abandoned with a aching side on the ground, you broke out into pants, gripping the phone tighlty after locking the door to your bedroom. Contacting the police, her heart was racing with fear, what the hell had happened just now began to take a toll on her mind, she already had dealt with the death of her friend Casey but now she was being attacked, when the sirens flashed. “Y/n. What the hell happened baby?!” She cried out when arms wrapped around her. Eyes widenening in confusion and terror when she realized the window was open but she was so absent minded she didn’t realize. “Billy..” Her voice broke when she spoke, she saw his concerned gaze. But she couldn’t trust him.
She shoved him off of her, afraid. And he looked almost hurt she didn’t see through as he feigned worry and heartbreak. “Y/n-“ “Don’t t-touch me!” She babbled shakily, pushing his hands off once more when he tried to touch her again. Billy knew this wasn’t any time to touch her now considering her state, she didn’t want to. The police a matter of time they had showed up at the door. Running downstairs leaving billy abandoned in the bedroom you ran and saw Dwight. Your friend’s older brother pushing through the crowd.
“Dewey!” She cried out loud.

heyy!! I LOVE your Poly Plastics fics, do you think you could do one where Regina's father has an outburst at home one day and Reguna realizes she has to take her little sister (4 year old Kylie) out of there, so the Plastics support this and since Regina's parents don't even care much about their daughter they don't give a damn, then you show the 3 of them taking care of Kylie who was a little shaken and needy (from getting too attached to them)??
No Looking Back
|| poly!plastics shenanigans
|| Warnings; regina's father being a bitch, regina standing up to him, protecting kylie, swearing, agnst/comfort
|| Summary; Regina comes home one night to her father yelling at Kylie. She takes her to Gretchen's to protect her.
Requests open!
Started; october 16th
Finished; october 16th
~~~
Regina knew her parents weren't the greatest, there were many times where she would hear her father yelling. Or be the one being yelled at. She'd learnt to just sit and tolerate it, knowing that was the safest option. It wasn't something she wanted people to know about her either, because then that becomes all you're painted as. So she even kept it from her girlfriends, Gretchen and Karen. Until one night.
One night where she had come home late to hear her father yelling at her four year old sister, Kylie. Who definitely didn't deserve whatever screaming match he was having with her. Regina shared a glance with her mother, who had been standing off to the side looking upset. She knew her mom wasn't about to do anything; which left things to her. Regina knew she had to get Kylie safe and that's just what she was going to do.
If she thought of her father as just another nerd, another jerk she had to deal with at school. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard. She's yelled at those people plenty of times. She could do this. Taking a breath, she marched up the stairs and to Kylie's room. Stepping between her father and her sister.
"Kylie, cover your ears." Regina demanded, glancing at Kylie. Who nodded and listened, despite the tears rolling down her cheeks. Regina looked back at her father. Could she even call him that? He never acted like one." Back the fuck away from her! You wanna yell? Yell at me!" She screamed, giving him pause for a moment. Regina's hardly ever yelled back at him. He wasn't ready for this.
"Regina. Go back downstairs, not everything is about you." His glare tore into her soul, but she kept her ground. She wasn't about to back down. In fact, she went as far as spitting in his face. Which only fuelled his anger." You little-" He was seconds from striking her, but Regina picked up Kylie and ran out of the room with her. Her dad followed after, so Regina kept going. Not even giving her mom a second glance as she ran to her jeep. Setting Kylie in the front and making sure she was buckled up good. Yeah, Regina knew this wasn't legal to have her in the front. And without some kind of booster. But she didn't have the time for any other options.
She got out of there as fast as she could without looking back.
"Kylie, I need you to take a breath and grab my phone for me. Okay?" She glanced at the girl then back at the road, Kylie nodded. Struggling to take a breath at first but doing her best to regulate her emotions.
She grabbed Regina's phone and looked at her older sister," what now?" She asked, her tone a quiet murmur.
"Press the numbers 6754." She continued to coach her through what she needed her to do. Kylie did just that, Regina made sure Kylie had learnt how to use a phone at a young age for emergencies. And Kylie's used it a few times to get ahold of her, normally stealing their mother's phone." Do you see Gretchen and Karen's picture in my contacts? Can you call one of them?"
Kylie clicked on Gretchen, the phone rang for only a second before Gretchen answered, sounding pretty excited that Regina actually called her." Gina! Oh my god! Hi!!"
Kylie smiled when she heard Gretchen, having put the phone on speaker. Gretchen was definitely one of her favourites. She always talked to her when she came over." Gren!!!" Kylie smiled at the phone.
Gretchen paused for a moment, then laughed softly." Kylie, honey. Did you take Regina's phone?" Her tone shifted to softer, more kid suitable.
"No, I told her to call you. We're coming over." Regina spoke up, letting Gretchen know she was there too. Gretchen's eyes widened.
"Wait what? Did something happen?"
"Daddy was mean.." Kylie mumbled, Gretchen frowned at that. What did Kylie mean? How mean was he for Regina to be bringing her?
"I'll explain more later when she's in bed. I just had to get her out." Regina sighed, she was a good distance from the house now. She finally gave herself the chance to breathe. Loosening her grip on the wheel. Gretchen could tell how stressed Regina seemed and that worried her, she felt bad for the blonde.
"Yeah, that's okay. I'll set up a space for her. My parents are out for a few nights so you can stay as long as that. I'll see if I can convince them to let you stay longer when they get home." Gretchen replied.
"Thanks, Gren. Seriously." Regina wasn't one to thank people, so Gretchen could tell she was serious even without her saying the 'seriously' part.
"I'm here for you, baby. No matter what. I love you." Gretchen told her, Regina tensed a little when the L word was said. Gretchen and Karen said it a lot, but Regina didn't say it often. Though they knew she loved them. Even without her saying," want me to invite Karen?"
"Yeah. Yeah, call her. I'm about five minutes away. See you in a minute. Kylie, hang up for me?" Regina glanced at her sister who frowned and looked ready to cry again.
"I wanna talk with Gren!" She whined, Regina's grip retightened on the wheel. She didn't know how to handle stuff like this.
"We can see her in a few minutes, if you hang up." Regina tried to negotiate.
"Regina, I got it. I'll see you soon Ky, okay? Really soon, promise. And we can talk as much as you want, how does that sound?" Gretchen was better with kids, which Regina really appreciated.
"Okay!!!" Kylie was smiling and giggling again.
"Thank you." Regina sighed, relieved Gretchen helped her out.
Gretchen hung up the phone and they soon arrived at Gretchen's house. Regina picked up Kylie and carried her inside, shutting the door behind her with her foot as Gretchen came over.
She took Kylie from Regina's arms and smiled wide," Kylie! Hey, girlie!!" Kylie giggled as Gretchen carried her. Regina was tempted to ask for a hug too, needing more comfort right now than she ever carried to admit. Gretchen noticed almost immediately and, keeping an arm around Kylie, offered a hand to Regina." Come here, baby."
Regina let her guard down just a bit, accepting the group hug. She was trying not to cry, the whole night had been stressful for her. But now she could relax. Her father wouldn't know where to look for them; one of the plus' to having a very distant parent. They don't know where any of your friends live. Even her mom, who did know her friends, didn't know. They'd be safe at Gretchen's.
The door opened and Regina nearly jumped out of her skin, but it was just Karen.
"Jesus fuck, Karen." She sighed, resting a hand on her chest to steady her heart. Karen frowned, not sure what she did wrong.
Kylie pointed at Regina," sis said a bad word."
"Regina, no bad words." Gretchen was trying to keep a serious face and not laugh, Regina just rolled her eyes. It's not like she could have helped it.
"I don't get it." Karen said.
The rest of the night was spent with the girls taking care of Kylie, Gretchen did the most but she didn't mind. She liked spending time with the girl. After they got her to bed, Regina explained what had happened. Then Gretchen and Karen focused on comforting Regina. Lots of cuddles, praise and kisses. Assuring her that she did the right thing for Kylie.
marys song - jack hughes
in which, you had always loved the boy next door.
your parents had been best friends with ellen and jim hughes long before you were ever born. so, it was no surprise that you had grown up alongside the hughes boys.
quinn was like an older brother you never had. he was the one you would run to when luke or jack were being too mean or when you had fallen off your scooter trying to beat luke in a race. he always took your side, even when you were in the wrong.
you and luke had been the closest growing up, since you two were the same age. he was your best friend. you helped him get girls and he scared away all the guys that were ever interested in you. you two stayed up all night, communicating through your bedroom windows. he was your partner in crime.
and jack? jack and you had always had a strange relationship. you had realised you liked him when you were six and he was hanging out with another girl that lived on the same street at you. her name was sally and you hated her guts from the second you saw jack tie her shoe lace. seriously, who even wore laces back then? it was all about the velcro.
age seven
you had found jack sulking in his backyard, kicking the grass with his shoed foot. you didn't know why he was upset, you were simply looking for luke.
"what's wrong with you?" you had asked him, your arms crossed and head turned up. you were quite angry with him that day, you had seen him kiss sally on the cheek during a game of truth and dare that you weren't allowed to play in earlier that week.
"no one here to play with me." he sulked, once again taking his anger out on a patch of grass. "where is everyone?" you had responded, slowly taking a seat next to him on the grass field. "luke got hockey and quinn at the movies with his friends, he said i wasn't allowed t come."
"why didn't you ask me to play?" you had asked the boy, who barely shot you a glance before shrugging his shoulders. "yous been moody all week."
you glared at the boy, "i'm not moody, maybe you just annoying."
"i'm not annoying, you're annoying!" he shot back, standing up from the grass and over you. you stood up just as quick, crossing your arms and standing on your tippy toes to seem taller than him. "you're always annoying me, jack!" you shouted.
jack rolled his eyes, "you should go home 'fore i beat you up."
jack would never have touched you, he was always threatening everyone with the same stuff. but you took it to heart anyways, tears filling your eyes. "i don't like you anymore, jack."
and with that, you were off back to your own home.
jim had watched the whole interaction with a small smile, he had an ongoing bet with your own father that you and jack were gonna end up together. it was all for laughs, something to bring up every christmas dinner.
little did he know.
age sixteen
you were practically bubbling with anticipation as you bounded down the stairs of your summer house, phone in hand with the text message from luke saying they had arrived on the screen.
you had seen luke all year, of course. but you hadn't seen quinn or jack since christmas last year due to hockey. you also knew that they had both brought some friends they had met through hockey, and had always had a thing for hockey players.
"bye mom! bye dad!" you yelled as you slammed the front door behind you and bounced over to the hughes household. luke had told you to just walk in, like you weren't already planning on it.
the hughes house had always been significantly louder than your own, you being an only child and there being three of them. but the noise that greeted you when you walked in was other worldly.
screams were heard, along with heavy footsteps as people ran around. you smiled to yourself as you crossed the barrier into the living room.
luke had an unfamiliar boy on top of him, holding a pillow over his head. jack laughed as he held back quinn, who was attempting to help luke. and two more unfamiliar boys yelled at the tv screen as they played some sort of hockey based video game.
"jesus, what in a warzone is going on here?" you laughed at the sight, and six pairs of heads snapped towards you. the boy on top of luke fell off him, as luke bounded to his feet and marched over to you.
"come on, holly. we're leaving these psychos to their own devices." luke stated as he grabbed your hand and attempted to drag you off to his room. but you stood your ground, ripping your hand from his before bounding over to quinn.
"quinny!" you exclaimed before enveloping him into a hug. the boy groaned at the sudden impact, before mumbling a small "hello bug."
as you released him, you turned to jack. the boy smiled at you and time seemed to stop. you hated how all this time and distance would never put your mind at ease when it came to jack hughes.
he opened his mouth to say something before the boy who was previously suffocating your best friend with a pillow intercepted him. "trevor. trevor zegras. it's lovely to meet you. have you seen the house? let me give you a tour." you had practically grown up in the hughes summer house, but you decided to not tell the excited boy that as you allowed him to grab your hand and guide you upstairs.
you turned back to look at jack, who already seemed to be staring at you. you offered him a shy wave and smile before turning back around.
no one seemed to realise how jack's eyes lingered on your retreating figure, no one except quinn who smirked at the sight.
he so couldn't wait to tell jim.
age twenty one
you mumbled small apologies as you pushed passed people in order to get to the authorised portion of the prudential centre. jack had just won his game with an overtime shot, and you were bubbling with excitement for him.
finally finding where you were supposed to be, you quickly flashed your pass before being let through by security. you passed many devils players that you had met over the passed year or two, offering them small congratulations.
you found luke before jack, crushing the taller boy into a hug before shaking his shoulders aggressively. "you were so good, lukey!"
luke simply shook your hands off him, his face stuck in a permanent fixture of smiles, before telling you he'd meet you at the car. you nodded your head before walking off, eyes searching for the middle hughes child.
when you spotted him, he was just wrapping up a conversation with his captain, nico.
"jack!" you exclaimed to get his attention, he seemed to look around aimlessly for a few moments before his eyes landed on you, a large smile overtaking his features as he began his trek in your direction.
upon reaching you, he wrapped his arms around your waist, "hey baby."
you smiled as you wrapped your own arms around his neck, offering him a kiss as a congratulations. his lips chased yours, but you were quick to pull away. laughing at his pout, "i'm proud of you."
the boy simply hummed before reconnecting his lips to yours. you pulled away again, "and i love you."
"i love you too." he smiled before reconnecting his lips to yours once more, groaning when you pulled away again. "and luke's waiting for us by the car."
and with that, you were dragging a sulking jack through the prudential centre.
In My Sister’s Place (Part 1 of 2)
Based on this request: Is it possible for me to ask for a Jareth fic? Reader is Sarah and Toby’s older sister (she was on a date that ended badly so that’s why she wasn’t the one babysitting that night) and insists on running the labyrinth in Sarah’s place. Jareth agrees. You can decide if reader chooses to leave or to stay once she’s done running the labyrinth.
Here you are, lovely! *Familiar Characters are NEVER mine!*
Fandom: Labyrinth
Warnings: Mentions of bad dates, poor step-parenting, and the beginning events of the movie. This is part 1 of 2 as it was getting too long for only one part!
Pairings/Characters: Eventual!Jareth the Goblin King x fem!reader, Sarah , Toby
You let out a sigh as you opened the front door. You could hear Merlin barking from the shed. Your stepmother must have made Sarah put him there. Heaven forbid anything make her gleaming-white floors dirty. Maybe that wasn't fair. You were in a bad mood after all. Your date had been awful.
From a young age, you'd dreamed of the kind of partner you'd read about in story books. The type of men that were in the plays your late mother had acted in. A hero. A knight. A king. A lover. Needless to say, your standards were probably too high but you were determined to get as close to that kind of man that you could. That lead to many uninteresting dates. Not that they were all "bad" people, per say. They just weren't what you were looking for.
You were pulled from your pity party by the sound of crying. Clearly, your dad and stepmother had made Sarah babysit again. Now you felt bad. Sarah shouldn't be responsible for an infant and if you hadn't gone out on what turned out to be a horrible date, she wouldn't be.
"Sarah? Everything okay?" you called out as you made your way up the stairs. Instead of an answer, you were greeted with more crying. You weren't surprised. Sarah was never any good at calming Toby. When you reached the landing, you found Sarah leaving the room Toby slept in. Before you could greet her, you heard her say, "I wish the goblins really would come and take you away." With that, she closed to the door to head back to her own room.
"Sarah!" you cried as Toby's own crying suddenly stopped. Sarah met your gaze for a moment in confusion. You both ran, nearly knocking each other down, and opened the door again only to find Toby missing from his crib. "Sarah, what have you done?" you whispered as lightening flashed once more. You approached the crib slowly. Definitely no Toby.
Before you could speak again, you heard what sounded like giggles and small feet running. Toby couldn't pull himself out of the crib so it wasn't him. And if it wasn't Toby, who was it? You jumped when you heard something smack against the window. Sarah's gaze kept darting around the room, but yours was drawn to the white owl at the window, trying desperately to get in.
Another strike of lightening and a gust of wind made you jump. The window practically flew open and the owl darted in, flying into both your and Sarah's faces. Sarah let out a scream as the owl backed off. The next thing you knew, standing where the owl had been, was…well, he looked like a man, but you knew he was something more. You knew exactly who he was, but it was Sarah who voiced your thoughts.
"You're him, aren't you? You're the Goblin King." You stared, drawn into the beauty that stood before you. You really needed to snap out of it. He had your brother and you needed to protect Toby and Sarah. "Please. I want my brother back. Where is he?"
"You know very well where he is," the Goblin King responded, his voice sending shivers through you. "Please, bring him back," you managed to say. His eyes shifted to you and he regarded you closely for a moment. "What's said is said."
"But I didn't mean it!" Sarah protested. "Oh you didn't?" he asked, taunting the younger girl. "Please, bring Toby back," you finally spoke up and that was when the Goblin King's eyes met yours. In an instant you saw a dozen emotions pass over his face. "There is only one way to bring the baby back. She," he stated, pointing to Sarah, "Must run my labyrinth."
"I'll do it," you declared, "If the stories are true, then surely you can bend the labyrinth to your will and make it difficult for me." He arched a brow before looking between you and Sarah for a moment. He moved behind you and pointed out. "Do you know what that is?" he asked. Before your eyes, the night outside your window changed into something else. Something that should have been terrifying but instead filled you with excitement.
"The castle beyond the Goblin City," you replied. The Goblin King nodded and you felt him move closer to you. "You have thirteen hours to best my labyrinth. Should you win, I will let you and the baby go. If you lose, Toby shall remain here, as a goblin." You nodded.
"Turn back, Y/N. Before it's too late," he told you as he backed away. "I can't," you whispered and glanced at him over your shoulder. He frowned a bit. "You cannot win." You smiled. "I have to try." His tall form began to fade away. "Wait! What is your name?" you asked, earning a surprised look from the king that quickly became a smirk. "Best my labyrinth and I may tell you." You huffed as he disappeared. With a sigh, you began the long trek to the castle.
(a/n: I hope you like it! Part 2 will be posted after the 2nd part of “Deduce Me”)
OUTLAW (27)
ATEEZ poly!ot8 x Reader
Cowboy AU / Wild West
Series Masterlist
Warning: This chapter deals with arguments with parents about lifestyle. There is also a panic attack. Viewer discretion is advised.
A/N BETA READ (@mariana-mmtz). Thank you for all the birthday wishes and the comments. I love them so much! They always make my day.
The following day was a nice one. In a sense that not only was the weather perfect but also because Yunho had come to tell everyone that they would be able to head back to Cromer. They weren’t going to be able to stay in the same camp, however they would be much closer to civilization.
“I missed so many things that came with being so close to towns.” Wooyoung grinned, coming to a stand with his hands on his hips. “Like actual good food.”
They had been setting up the camp once more–taking care of the horses as well as unpacking the wagon.
“We still can't go into town.” Hongjoong sighed. “We have to avoid the hotel for now.” He gave you a regretful look, which you nodded to.
“I think you can pass for normal citizens.” You explained to him.
His eyebrows quickly pinched together, looking at you oddly. “How?” He questioned.
“I don't know if you've noticed, but the way you dress makes it painfully obvious who you are.” You pursed your lips.
Mingi stood up straight, looking down at you with a deep frown on his face. Your lips trembled from how kicked down he looked. “What's wrong with how I dress?” He smothered down the leather vest.
“Nothing, Mings.” You cooed. “You look amazing.” His smile returned, but you continued anyway. “However, it does draw attention because of how the artists drew you. I'll find clothing for you both to blend in. I'm sure they won't notice.”
Hongjoong took a moment to think it over, before nodding his head. “We'll give it a try.”
“Let's head back to the hotel.” Yunho spoke up, placing a hand on your lower back.
You gave the boys smiles and hugs goodbye. Wooyoung took the moment to swing you around with a giggle. You laughed and when he put you down he told you everything was going to be okay followed by a kiss to your head.
The others gave you the same treatment. Telling you not to worry too much, but all it seemed to do was remind you of your parents. As you rode behind Yunho, he felt you sigh against his back and lean your head forward.
“ Hey, are you okay, Angel?” Yunho asked you from over his shoulder.
“I left the house without telling my parents where I was. I'm sure they are beyond angry.” You sighed.
“Or worried. Maybe they'll be scared.” The tall man tried to console you.
“Either way, I left them without a word.” You saw your house come into view, only causing a large bout of anxiety to enter your chest.
Yunho helped you down the horse, dropping you off near the entrance of the fencing. “We won’t be far. Not until we know you’ll be fine.” Yunho told you.
You glanced back at the others, nodding your head in thanks. As you turned to look at your home, tears began to well in your eyes as you thought about how everything was about to go down. Taking a deep breath, you climbed up the stairs, heading to the front door.
You found your mother cleaning up the dining room, her body sluggish. Her hands were trembling as she tried her best to keep from having plates fall. When your feet scuffed against the floorboards, she looked up a bit startled.
When she saw you in the dining room entrance, all the plates she tried her best to not drop shattered onto the floor. “(Y/N)!? Oh, my baby.” She screamed, running towards you.
You flinched as she brought you into a strong hug, the water finally dropping from your lids. As you and your mother cried into each other, the rest of your family ran into the room from the screaming.
“Where were you!? I was so worried.” She wailed, pushing you away to pat down your hair and look over your face. “How could you leave us like that for days? You didn't think about how we felt, did you?”
The guilt had finally settled in and was eating away at you like a rabid dog. Not only did you feel sad about leaving the way you did, but you also felt bad about the way things went with your family. They had every right to be upset with you, but you did as well. You were here to fix that, not start thinking you were the bad guy.
“I'm sorry, mom.” You choked out.
“You're sorry? That's all you have to say?” You gasped, hugging your mother closer as your father’s screams hit your ears. “We sent out search parties for you! We called in the police! You were gone, (Y/N). We assumed the worst!” He had tears in his eyes, but he was furious with the way he spoke to you.
“I know. I know what I did.” You tried to explain yourself. “And I'm sorry! It hurt me so much thinking about what you all thought.” You cried.
“You’re hurt?” Your mother frowned. “How do you think it was for us?” She whimpered. .
“I'm sorry, Mom.” You turned to hug her. “But please, you have to understand-”
“Understand what?” Your father continued to scream. “That you were selfish!?”
Your body began to tremble as your knees knocked together; glancing at your siblings behind your father. Your oldest brother was quick to pull the younger ones away from the scene, giving you a worried look.
“We know you were with those men.” Your father sneered. “Yeosang, the cops. None of them were in the hotel.”
It was starting to get hard to breathe, which you found to be a problem as you started to choke. “No, that's not-” You tried to get out.
“What is it, then!?” He yelled. “What more could it be other than you leaving with those kinds of people!? What did you do!? Tell me what they did to you!?” He rushed forward, causing you to trip backwards.
Your hand gripped onto your chest to stop from panicking even more. “Nothing! They did nothing!” Your hands were shaking at your chest. All you could think about was the boys and how badly you needed one of them at that moment.
“(F/N), stop.” Your mother shouted, leaning down to comfort you.
“You allowed them to taint you and make you into one of those women who walk at night! How could they!?” He continued anyway.
“No, please. You have to-” You tried again, but he kept stopping you from explaining yourself. You began to shout and cry as your chest couldn’t seem to find the air it needed.
“No more.” Your father was blinded by rage, it was clear. “We're sending you to Aurora. There's a group there that will help you find peace.”
Your eyes went wide, thinking about someone sending you off and making you leave the boys. The same ones who seemed to be the only ones you could think of. “No. You can't-” You shook your head.
“It's been decided.” He stopped you.
Your legs hurt and your chest burned, but all you wanted to do was cling yourself to the boys and bury your head into their chest. You wanted them to hold you tightly and tell you it was going to be alright. All you needed was their love.
With adrenaline that was fueled by seeing one of them, you sprinted out the house and down the porch.
“(Y/N)!” Your father screamed, chasing after you. “Stop, you won't leave this time!” He shouted, quickly catching up to you and grabbing you by the waist.
“Let me go!” You screamed, kicking your legs as you tried to turn your body into dead weight. You tried to get your father to let you go by dragging your body, making it harder for him.
“(Y/N)!?” You cried harder when you saw Yeosang sprinting towards you from the hotel.
“Yeosang!” You cried, your sobs getting louder.
He quickly ran up to you, throwing himself at your father to make him let go of you. “Let her go!” The man sneered, throwing your father’s hands off you.
“Don't get involved, boy!” Your father swung his hand back, striking Yeosang across the face. “She isn't your problem!”
“She is after I asked for her hand in marriage!” Yeosang screamed over you.
Everything became still as you dropped to the ground in a heap. He didn’t bother to wipe his lip of blood from the slap he got, he only fell to his knees to hold you tightly to his chest. He was quick to pull you up into his lap, his breathing hard as he tried to calm down from his anxiety over your well-being.
Your mother watched as Yeosang calmed you down, his lips ghosting over your ear as he whispered something to you. You slowly stopped crying and seemed to just fall over into Yeosang as your panic attack fried all your nerves.
“(Y/N)?” She asked quietly. “Is this true? Is-Is that why you left with him?”
“I'm sorry, mom.” You mouthed, not being able to talk. She, however, understood what you said the moment Yeosang looked up at her with a face that said he was sorry.
“(F/N), get inside the house.” Your mother frowned deeply, harshly grabbing at your father, who seemed to have gone quiet. She shoved him towards the house. “We'll talk about this later when everyone has calmed down.” She spoke with authority, but you could see she was barely holding it together.
“Take her with you, Yeosang.” She had given the boy a pointed look that made him straighten up.
“I'll take care of her.” He promised. He got off his knees in order to pick you up bridal style.
“I know you will.”
Bring Me Home Arc 2 Part 19
This brings the total word count for arc 2 over 31k words. But it also brings us nearly to the end of the arc! There'll likely only be one more part after this which I hope to have out next week (but my first nephew is going to be born any day now, so no promises).
Story Summary: Tim and Danny are both neglected by parents who care more about their work than their families. They deal with this by spending too much time online and find each other playing MMORPGs. They keep up their friendship as Tim becomes Robin and Danny becomes Phantom and don't bother keeping secrets from each other.
Find Arc 1 Here
Arc 2: Part 1, Previous
Word Count: 1.3k
-----
Rob: get back here now Rob: All 4 of us are needed
Before he even finished typing his last message, Bart was at his side. Just in time to see Danny mutter something and shoot an ectoblast at his parents who were thrown back with the force of it, destroying the podium and leaving a burn mark on the ground. People immediately began panicking.
“Shit,” muttered Tim. “Cassie, let’s go. Impulse, try to help where you can.”
“You’ve got it.” Bart gave them the bag that held their uniforms and rushed towards Danny.
Cassie and Tim joined the fleeing crowds, but slipped down the hall rather than outside in search of somewhere to change. Unfortunately, the first bathroom they passed had a camera pointing at the door. But a short way down, they found a janitor’s closet that didn’t.
“Not glamorous, I’m afraid,” said Tim.
Cassie laughed. “We’ve used worse.”
“True enough.”
Bart kept texting updates to Tim’s relief.
Imp: They’re in the basement Imp: Walker is confirmed possessing the mayor Imp: SB with me
As soon as the messages came through, Tim was hacking into city records to find the blue prints for the building.
“Come on, Rob,” said Cassie. “We need to get going.”
“Just finding the best way to the basement!” said Tim. A few more clicks and he had it. “Got it, let’s go.”
“Fucking finally.” Cassie cracked the door open and peered outside before throwing it open.
“Go right!” called Tim.
He overtook her and led her to a door. It was the matter of seconds to pick the lock and, rather than wait for him, Cassie just picked him up and flew him down the flight of stairs.
They burst out into what was clearly a service area. Ahead, they could hear the sounds of fighting. Cassie continued to fly them forward when they ran into Superboy.
“Superboy!” called Tim.
One of Danny’s classmates, Paulina, came running around the corner and Conner held up a blaster. “Stay back!” he called.
She screeched and held her hands up. Behind her came Dash, face contorted into a growl. The girl looked between Conner and Dash and screamed again.
“Kon!” called Tim, “Focus on Dash. I don’t think she’s overshadowed!”
Cassie set him down next to Conner and shouted, “I’m going to look for Phantom and Impulse!”
Conner shot at Dash and Tim assembled his Fenton Rod. To Paulina, he said, “Hey, sorry about that. We thought you might still be overshadowed. I’m Robin and we can get you out of here.”
“Don’t get near me!” she yelled at him. “Dash! Are you okay?”
The ghost had been expelled from him and he was sitting on the ground rubbing his head. “Paulina? Where are we?”
Tim pulled out a thermos and sucked in the ghost. “You’re in the basement of the City Hall building. Stairs are that way—” he pointed “—go up them and take a left.”
Paulina rushed to Dash’s side and pulled him up. With one last glare at Tim and Conner, she led him towards the stairs.
Tim let her go without arguing.
Instead, Tim and Conner ran towards the sound of fighting, only to see Maddie crouched behind some pipes with a bazooka pointed right at Danny.
With a curse, Conner flew towards her, yanking the weapon out of her hands. Tim was just a few paces behind him, and when Maddie drew another weapon poised to attack Conner, Tim used his staff to knock it from her hand.
“So you have been brainwashed by the ghosts,” she spat the last word. “Well I won’t let you win.” She kicked at his head and Tim ducked, using the motion to attempt to swipe at her other leg with his staff.
But she jumped over the attack and Tim had to roll out of the way of her downward kick.
“You’re quite good,” he commented.
“I’m a ninth degree black belt,” she said as she used the distance she’d gained to pull out a tube of lipstick. With a twist, she shot a laser at him.
“Creative, too, I see.”
Tim glanced over at the others to see Wulf had reappeared and was helping them. Unfortunately, though, Maddie was good enough that he had to keep most of his focus on her. She shot another laser and Tim used his staff to vault over it and close the distance between them.
“Look,” he said, “You don’t understand. Phantom is trying to stop the invasion.”
“He’s lying to you. All ghosts only want to hurt humans.”
Tim swung his staff and Maddie twisted out of the way. He still managed to graze her side and she let out a grunt of pain. He shifted his position so he could see his friends more clearly.
Only to watch the Mayor grab hold of Danny and fly him up through the ceiling. Two ectoblasts hit the area just after they disappeared. Wulf followed them through the ceiling and Bart ran off at the same time.
He was distracted enough that Maddie managed to kick him hard on the side. Tim let out a grunt of pain and tried to catch his breath. Before she could land a second attack, Conner was there restraining her.
“Thanks,” said Tim.
“Anytime. Sorry I wasn’t able to help sooner.”
Tim waved the apology off as he grabbed some zip-ties from his utility belt. “We’re both trying to help the people of Amity,” he told Maddie as he retrained her ankles and wrists.
“If you’re working with the ghosts, you’re only going to hurt them.”
Conner didn’t try to hold back his snort. “If you could see past your own prejudices, you’d see how fucking wrong you are. Especially about Phantom.”
“Superboy, take this”—Tim handed over a thermos—“go see if you can help Phantom. Wondergirl and I will make sure no one else’s hiding down here.”
They had barely started their search when Danny sunk back down into the basement with Bart and Conner in tow. Wulf followed them.
The sight of them had Maddie cursing up a storm again and Phantom sighed. “Ma’am, everyone is fine. I made sure of it. Here, I’ll take you upstairs where Da— uh, Jack is and you’ll see.”
“Phantom,” started Tim, but he had no idea what else to say. He just knew he didn’t want Danny anywhere near his parents while in his ghost form.
But Danny waved him off, picked up his mom, and flew them up through the ceiling again. Less than a minute later, he was back down.
“You know, she’d ground me for using even half of those words,” he said with a smile. No one laughed and Danny sighed. “So today was a disaster.”
“What did Walker do?” asked Tim.
Danny buried his face in his hands and groaned.
Bart ended up being the one to explain. “He held Danny to him and pretended Danny was kidnapping him in front of all the people outside City Hall.”
Tim closed his eyes and tilted his head back. “Shit,” he breathed out. “Disaster is right.”
Danny let out a slightly hysterical laugh. “At least Paulina now thinks I’m a good guy.”
“She does?” asked Conner. “She ran from Rob and I.”
Danny squared his shoulders and imitated slicking his hair back. “Guess it’s just my natural charisma.”
Tim laughed, but it was short lived. “I seem to have made things worse for you.”
Danny bumped their shoulders. “And I don’t doubt it would’ve been just as bad, if not worse, without you. Thanks for trying.”
“We shouldn’t linger here,” said Bart. “What if Maddie comes back?”
Danny sighed and pulled out his phone. “My sister will be looking for me, I’m sure. Let’s reconvene at the park in, like, an hour?”
“We’ll bring food!” offered Bart.
Tim pulled Danny into a hug. “See you then. We’ll figure this out.”
Danny just sighed. “I hope so.”
Right now-Jung Wooyoung
Genre:fluff
Warning:idk man...
I took it from my Wattpad....but there are improvements here
Being in a separate room with your husband but not the husband of your choice but the choice of your family because your family wants to save their company is
Marrying a child from another company who has met the family makes you hate your parents because this is a arranged married.
It's been 2 weeks after the wedding that you isolated yourself from other people in your husband's house that he bought. You only go out when you're hungry and go back to your room.
You can tell he is rich because his house is very big and it is enough for more than 10 people and it might be easy for thieves to enter and steal.
"Y/N? Do you want to eat now or not with me" Wooyoung opened your door but only saw his eyes meet you who was looking at him with your arms crossed.
“Don't you dare come in before I kill and cook you and then serve it to your family” You were angry but Wooyoung smiled and opened the door wide making you warn him
He put his foot in your room and you started to grab your hair comb wanting to start fighting him. Another step from Wooyoung made you chase after him and he was startled and screamed down the stairs laughing
"I will end your life Jung Wooyoung" You chased him to the living room and Wooyoung turned around and caught you. You wanted to free yourself from his grip but he was too strong for you."At least my wife came out of her room after 2 weeks"
Wooyoung carried you up to the kitchen and sat you down on the dining chair. You looked at him bringing the food he had cooked making you wait for what he cooked for the two of you
"Y/N, I cooked this for you. I don't care if you complain it's not your taste but at least fill your empty stomach" Wooyoung pout made you nod because this was the first time he begged you to eat his food
Usually you cook your own food and he wants to eat some of the food you cook.You know he always buys food outside and doesn't cook because maybe he's lazy.You just gave him some of your food to him then
Now maybe he wants to return his favor with his cooking and serve it to you."I cooked this for us but I hope you like it" Wooyoung sat in front of you waiting for you to eat it
When you were Wooyoung's food it made him smile wide seeing you cook him for the first time. You coughed making Wooyoung startled
"My cooking is delicious isn't it Y/N" You just smiled and covered your face with your hands.You took a spoon and gave him a mouthful of food making him choke."Taste your own food before serving it to others"
Wooyoung nodded and swallowed the food slowly and put the food on the side."Looks like my wife has to cook for me today because I'm not good at it"You just glared and stood towards the kitchen."You just didn't put the salt on purpose didn't you"
Wooyoung looked at you with a smile on purpose making you throw a spoon at him but he was able to avoid it."I still hate you Wooyoung" Wooyoung kept laughing and took your hand but you pulled away from his hold
"Ouh c'mon Y/N, I just want to spend time with you this one day. how about in my room and sleep with me tonight" You shake your head fast making him upset and stomp his feet cutely. You were embarrassed to admit it but he looked cute when he sulked and begged to sleep with him
"If you don't want to...fine" Wooyoung walked towards the living room and his eyes were glued to his phone after he sat down on the chair. In a few minutes later you heard the sound of your window room breaking making you rush to run upstairs and suddenly you heard the sound of something breaking and it made you worry even more
The thief came out of your room and saw you stiffening in your position. He chased you making you run down and hide behind Wooyoung who wanted to check up. Wooyoung raised his hand towards the thief and spoke
"If you don't get out of this house, I'll call the police" Wooyoung smiled proudly and the thief ran away but didn't steal anything making you suspect Wooyoung.You ran and entered your room which was a mess with your mattress broken
"Aww what a pity you. Looks like you have to sleep with me tonight" Wooyoung leaned against the door of your room crossing his arms. You looked at him and nodded slowly."You planned all this to make me sleep with you tonight didn't you" Wooyoung just smiled and winked
You grabbed your purse and took out your credit card and gave it to Wooyoung "I want to buy a new mattress right now and I'll sleep on the floor of this room if you don't buy it"
Wooyoung let out a fake cry and stomped his feet indicating he was rebelling with your idea."Why do you always avoid me Y/N even though I treat you well" You just stayed silent and thought what to do after the incident in the kitchen
You were so happy for him when you tasted his cooking and gave him mouthfuls of his food"Y/N, look at me, don't you think about something. I want your answer right now" He held both of your cheeks and brought his face close to yours
"I-I just haven't felt comfortable after marrying you because this was forced by my mother to save her business" you avoid making eye contact with him and he can see your watery eyes
Wooyoung sighed and hugged you to calm you down. He kissed your head making you look at him. "I understand how you feel but trust my words. I love you when my family tells me that I'm going to marry a fierce but gentle woman like you"
"I'm actually lucky to find a woman like you. Even though you don't like me that much, you still choose to stay at home with me" You just nodded and cried listening to his sweet words. Wooyoung took you to his room and ordered a new mattress for you. As he ordered,he held one of your hands and stroked it
You then nudged his shoulder wanting to say something and Wooyoung immediately gave you his attention "I'll sleep with you tonight until anytime" You took his phone and ended the call.
"Forever? Y/N are you serious" Wooyoung smiled widely as he hugged you.You are happy to discuss your feelings with him and he feels the same thing as you
"Now, I will learn to fall in love with you so that you will be comfortable with me and forgive me" You just stared at him waiting for his answer"I'm the one who hired him to destroy your mattress because I want you by my side"
Your sadness turned to anger making Wooyoung laugh and you attacked him"I knew it you were the one who did all this" Wooyoung hugged you back with a comfortable hug."But I got your heart didn't I" You don't like to admit it but yes he got your heart this time
A relaxing finish isn't it
Hi! This is my first ever request and I’m so excited 🤩 Could you please do Ambrosia and Coriander with Wrecker?
I love the character trope “A falls first, B falls harder”, so maybe fem!reader A and Wrecker B?
Fireworks
Summary: You make fireworks for a living, just like your parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. You love the colors and the explosions. And when you meet Wrecker, who loves many of the same things that you do, you hit it off. You fall first...but, as it happens, he falls harder.
Pairing: TBB Wrecker x F!Reader
Word Count: 2377
Warnings: Heated making out
Prompts: Ambrosia - love is reciprocated, Coriander - lust
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni
A/N: SO! This is my first time writing Wrecker, and I'm not sure how I did. So please if anyone has an opinion on it, please let me know.
You smile warmly up at Wrecker, “I appreciate you going out of your way to help with this,” You say lightly as Wrecker sets the crate on the floor.
“It’s not a problem, I was there and happy to help.” His grin is wide, “Besides, I’m kind of curious as to how you do this.” Wrecker adds as he gestures around you. “I’m sure Tech could walk me through it, but it’s not quite the same as seeing it for myself.”
“You’re exactly right! Tech is very clever, and I’m sure he could give you the bare bones details, but a lot of this is passed down through oral tradition.” You place your hands on your hips, a proud grin lifting your lips, “And, my family has been making fireworks since before space travel, so I’m something of an expert.”
“What a coincidence, so am I.” Wrecker teases, “Are you sure you want this crate here?”
“True! Explosives are explosives, whether they’re for show or for destruction.” You fold your arms, “And yeah, I have to dig through it to sort it properly anyway, so better to leave it here.”
Wrecker looks around a little more, “You guys seem busy.”
“Well, the fireworks festival is happening soon.” You point out, “But really, this is nothing. You should see us in the week leading up to the festival.” You grin at him, before you crouch to enter the code to unlock the crate, “Of course, the payoff is definitely worth it, in the end.”
Wrecker opens his mouth to say something when a shout from the second floor distracts you both. Your older brother and your father are screaming at each other, and you sigh. “I should go deal with that.” You stand, “Thanks for the help, Wrecker, I mean it.”
“Sure.” He eyes the screaming men, “You want me to stick around-?”
You laugh, warm and bright, “My brother and my father are both just too stubborn for their own good, but there’s no danger here. I promise.”
Wrecker eyes the screaming men for a moment longer, and then turns his gaze back to you, a grin crossing his face, “Well, if you’re sure.”
“I am. Thank you though, you’re sweet.”
“Ah, well…” His face heats slightly, “I try.”
A giggle falls from your lips, he really is too cute, “I’ll see you later, alright?”
“Yeah, definitely.” Wrecker watches you for a moment longer, as you hurry up the stairs to defuse your brother and father’s fight, and then he leaves out the way he came in.
It’s been almost a year since Wrecker and his brothers settled on Pabu with their younger sister, and they’ve since made a home for themselves here.
You met Wrecker about eight months ago.
It had been an accident, you hadn’t been paying attention, and he hadn’t been paying attention and the pair of you crashed into each other. You weren’t hurt, but he did manage to knock you to the ground, simply because of how much bigger than you he is.
At the time he had been so apologetic and worried about hurting you, that he spent a whole ten minutes apologizing to you. It took you another fifteen minutes to reassure him that he didn’t hurt you, and that the scrapes and bruises that you were covered in happened before he ran into you.
After that, you seemed to bump into him everywhere, though you never actually ran into him again.
Slowly, over time, you and Wrecker developed a close friendship. You’ve come to cherish him as a close friend, and are more than happy to spend your free time with him.
Well, okay, that’s not exactly true.
You do consider him a dear friend, but you also want more. You’ve long since fallen in love with him, but you’re hesitant to ask for more than friendship. After all, if he doesn’t feel the same, then you’ll have just ruined the best friendship of your life.
So you keep your mouth shut, and you enjoy the time you spend together, and you appreciate Wrecker’s kindness and warmth, and you silently pine over him, while hoping that he doesn’t notice.
The last thing you want is to lose your best friend, after all.
You rub the back of your neck as you hurry up the stairs to your family. You can think about this later, there are more important things to worry about.
It has been almost 6 weeks since the day that Wrecker helped you bring a crate into the warehouse, and the Firework Festival is almost here. Almost, in the sense that it’s tonight, and you’ve been running around like a maniac for the last week trying to get things in order.
In terms of relationship, nothing has changed between you and Wrecker…at least, you don’t think anything has changed.
These last couple of weeks, Wrecker has been acting odd around you.
Seeming a little nervous and jumpy, unwilling to meet your eyes at times, and randomly changing the subject whenever you try to press him if something is wrong.
You’re beginning to worry that you’ve done something wrong, that maybe you said or did something that bothered him and he’s just too nice to call you out.
Stars, you hope not. That’s the last thing you’ve ever wanted.
Unfortunately, you’ve been too busy the last week to have a proper conversation with him. It’s everything you can do to manage a simple hi when you see him on the street before running off to your next chore.
And even with those small conversations, there’s still something off with how Wrecker responds.
You grip your comm for a moment, staring at Wrecker’s contact information for a moment, before you grit your teeth and take a risk.
Hey Wreck, you up?
Yeah, course. What’s up?
The Fireworks are tonight, you gonna watch them?
That’s the plan. Omega wants to watch them on the beach.
Ooh, that’s a good place.
For a moment, you hesitate, before you type your next message.
I was going to ask if you wanted to watch them with me, but since you already have plans.
I’ll just watch them with my brothers
Wait
Wait!
I’d like to watch them with you
If the offer is available?
What about Omega?
Hunter, Echo, and Tech will be with her.
She won’t even notice I’m gone.
Where are we watching them?
On top of the warehouse, I’ll bring food!
You don’t have to do that
I want to. I’ll see you tonight!!
I’ll be there.
Some of your anxiety fades when Wrecker agrees to watch the fireworks with you. If nothing else, he still wants to be your friend. And then you jump when you hear your mother shout at you from the hallway of your apartment.
Kriff, you’re going to be late!
You roll, literally, out of bed, landing on the floor with a thump, “I’m okay!” You shout to your mother before you scramble to your fresher to take the world’s quickest shower.
And then you pull on your clothes, and hurry out of your bedroom while pulling your hair into a tail, “Sorry, sorry! I overslept!” You call to your mother, who shoves a breakfast sandwich into your hands as you balance on one foot to pull your boots on.
“Hurry up, everyone is waiting for us!” Your mother rushes you.
“I know, I know! I’m coming!”
Wrecker is nervous. Nervous with a capital N, even.
He knows that he’s a big guy, he’d have to be blind to not see that. And he knows that he’s not as careful as, say, Tech or Echo. And he knows that he’s a bit too loud and a bit too exuberant, and that he’s not everyone’s cup of Caf.
He also knows that his pretty spark has been working herself to the point of exhaustion for the last week, and that she’s not had time to do anything for herself, and even so, she still made time to say hi to him every day.
Even when she’s covered in soot, and has dark circles under her eyes, and her hair is pulled into a messy knot because it hasn’t been washed in a week, she’s still the most stunning woman he’s ever laid eyes on.
She still smiles at him like…like most women smile at Hunter, and stars, he loves her so much.
Echo figured it out before he did, because of course he did. He just flashed a small, sad, smile before teasingly telling Wrecker that when he fell for her, he hit every branch on the way down.
Wrecker figures that he’s probably right, he normally is about this kind of stuff, but it’s not actually helpful.
“Wreck,” Echo says, his voice gentle and kind, as he pulls Wrecker out of his thoughts. “You’re already friends with her, just talk to her.”
“But…what if she doesn’t feel the same?”
“Well, that’s a risk that you have to take.” Echo replies.
“Maybe I shouldn’t say anything-”
“Will that make you feel better?”
“...no.”
Echo smiles at him, “Go. I’ll cover for you with Omega.”
“Thanks Echo.”
Wrecker makes the walk from the house he shares with his siblings to the warehouse, and he uses the outside stairs to get to the roof. She’s already there, sitting in a comfy chair next to a table covered in various foods and drinks.
Her hair is loose and freshly dyed, likely to celebrate the festival, and she’s wearing a pretty dress that he’s never seen before. She looks…gorgeous. And somehow Wrecker falls even more in love with her.
Her gaze slides over to him, and a blinding smile crosses her face, “Wreck! You made it!”
“I said I would,” Wrecker replies as he steps onto the roof, “Has all of this stuff always been here?”
“Hm? Oh, I pulled them out of the shed,” She replies as she motions to a small building a little bit away, “But it wasn’t hard.”
Wrecker crosses over to her and sinks into another chair, though he hasn’t taken his gaze off of her, “I see you dyed your hair new colors.”
She laughs, “New colors for a new firework festival!”
“And a new dress?”
“Mother bought it for me. Do you like it?”
“It suits you.” Wrecker replies, finally averting his gaze to look at the food on the table, “Did you just hit up every fast food place between your apartment and here?”
“Mm, just about.” She falls silent for a moment, “Hey, Wreck?”
“Yeah?”
“Did I do something to make you mad at me?” She asks, and Wrecker’s gaze snaps to her face, she looks deeply anxious, “You’ve been acting…odd, these last couple of weeks. And I know I haven’t been a good friend, because of how busy I’ve been-”
“Woah, woah. Hold on. Did someone tell you that you’ve been a bad friend?” Wrecker asks, his brow furrowing, “Because you’ve been so busy this last week, that I was worried that you were going to collapse from exhaustion before the festival.”
“Well, no.” She admits, “but I can’t think of any other reason. You’ve been really nervous around me, and I can’t figure out what I did-”
“...you noticed that?”
“Of course I noticed, I’m not blind.” She sounds hurt and offended, “I just want to know what I did.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong,” Wrecker hastens to reassure, “If anything, this is my problem.”
“Wreck, will you just tell me? Please?”
He exhales nervously, and rubs the back of his neck, “I…appear to have fallen in love with you. Hard. Echo says that I ‘hit every branch on the way down’.” He risks a glance at her face, and his heart sinks slightly when he sees the look of surprise, “And I just didn’t want to make you nervous. Or to lose our friendship.”
She exhales slowly, “Well, I can honestly say that I wasn’t expecting that.” There’s something strange in her voice, and Wrecker’s not quite sure what emotion it is. He’s never heard it before.
“It’s fine if you don’t feel the same way. I don’t expect it, I’m happy with our friendship-”
She blinks at him, “Wrecker, that’s the thing, I do feel the same way.”
It’s his turn to blink at her dumbly, “You…do?”
“Of course. You’re so kind and gentle and handsome…plus you love explosions as much as I do. How could I not? I’ve been crushing on you for months now.” She admits with a small smile.
Wrecker just stares at her for a long moment, “Huh.” He finally says, “I…legitimately don’t know what to say to that. I kind of expected you to tell me to kriff off.”
She laughs, “I would never. Even if I wasn’t interested for some reason.” She considers him for a moment, and then she stands and walks over to him and gingerly settles herself on his lap.
Wrecker immediately slides his arms around her, and watches her curiously. This isn’t the first time he’s touched her like this, she’s a very tactile person after all, but she’s never sat on his lap before.
She flashes a small smile up at him, and then she leans up and presses her lips against his.
The kiss is soft and gentle…and shoots white hot desire through his entire body. He tries, he really does, to keep the kiss chaste and innocent. But the more she presses her lips against his, the harder it is to control himself.
And then she presses her lips to his one more time, and Wrecker just snaps. One of his hands tangles in her hair as he cups the back of her head, while the other one firmly grips her hip and pulls her flush against him.
He’s still careful to not hurt her, but even that thought fades to the background as she releases a soft moan when he nibbles on her lower lip.
His name falls from her lips in a breathy sigh when he pulls away just long enough to catch his breath, and Wrecker can honestly say that he’s never heard anything more arousing in his life.
At least, not until ten minutes later when she moans for him.
'Four Seven Two Eight'
Chapter 01 — 'What was I expecting'
next | masterlist
Pairing. Jay x reader
Genre. Fluff, a LOT (and I meant a LOTT) of angst
Warnings. None! (Smut in other chapters though)
Sypnosis. You didn't know why your heart shattered, when your one sided love, Park Jongseong, left you in the dark- because he was never yours to begin with.
‘When you left I lost myself’
“Jay!” You ran over towards him, making him turn in your direction. “You're coming over, right?”
“Of course!” He replied, reflecting the same joy on your face. He groaned afterward, his expression changing. “But there's gonna be so many more people”
“That's why I need you! Once the socializing is done, we can sneak out to the rooftop” you said sneakily.
“And that's why we're friends,” he said with a proud smile.
Out of all the kids of your parents’ friends, Jay caught your eye first. He had been your friend ever since. Noticing that you never spoke to any other kids your age other than him, as well as for Jay, you two were put to the same schools by your parents.
Towards the start of high school, Jay couldn't deny that his heart longed for a relationship more than friends with you. You did too, except it was best to not ruin the friendship you had with him, which was worth more than gold for the both of you.
“Y/n!” You heard your mom call you from downstairs.
“Yeah?” You screamed back.
“Jay's here!” With that, you ran down the stairs in excitement.
“Good, you're here. I need help with cleaning!” You said with a serious expression, making him roll his eyes playfully.
“Why'd I come early?” he mumbled as he was being pulled by you up the stairs, but it didn't miss your ear.
“You're free to go back,” you said with a frown.
“Okay okay”
“Here, help me move this sofa towards the wall, and then you have to raise the table so I can adjust the carpet,” you said.
You finished off quickly with his help, but, as the perfectionist you were, you couldn't help but point out some mistakes.
“Wait!” You stopped him as he opened the door to your room. He sighed, knowing what was about to happen.
“The table isn't aligned properly”
“Does it really matter?” he groaned
“Of course!”
“But then the carpet will get messy too”
“We can fix that as well”
“But we did it with the greatest diffic-”
“Hurry up, they'll be here any minute!” you cut him off, giggling at his annoyed expression.
You both sighed in unison, sinking into your bed. The room was silent for a while, before the sound of engines interrupted your peace. You both sat up, eyes widening. You didn't need to use words to know that the guests had come already. He ran towards the blinds of your room which overlooked the garden. He turned and nodded with a serious expression on his face.
“They're here” he said, almost panicking.
“Jongseongie, we can do this” you said, hand up as a fist to cheer you both. He reflected the action, before walking towards the door.
“Ah, y/n! Do you remember Aunt Kang?” You nodded, a smile on your face.
“How are you, darling?” She said as she pulled you into a hug.
“I'm okay,” you said softly.
“And Jay” she added, smiling at him before pulling him into a hug as well.
“Magnets since birth, these two” she joked with your mother.
Two more conversations like that and your social battery already died down, and you could see that Jay's was also on battery saver mode. You both shared eye contact, before sneakily walking up the stairs to escape.
“Wait!” You whispered, stopping him on the part of the staircase where a wall separated you two and the people. “Those brownies, we deserve some”
He nodded in response. “You go on, I'll be right back” he whispered back.
You admired the view of your small but homely neighborhood, before you heard Jay run up the stairs. He had a bright smile across his face, holding a saucer with 3 brownies on it.
“Oooh, thank you”
He gave you a smug smile before sitting on the freshly swept ground, next to you. He leaned his left shoulder on the railing, following where your eyes went. He scoffed.
“Zoning out again” he mumbled.
“It's peaceful at night,” you replied, smiling softly.
You two rarely ever had moments like this. Peaceful, meaningful talks. They were comforting, to both of you. It's mostly just comfortable silence, but you loved it.
Jay watched as you stared at the little cars running around, and the cats and dogs roaming the streets. Your eyes reflected the city lights, which made them sparkle like stars. He spotted a piece of hair which bothered you- or which made your face unclear to him- and gently tucked it behind your ear making you slightly flinch.
You turned towards him to his action, and noticed his softened eyes, and the unintentional smile on his face. It felt like hours, staring into those hypnotizing eyes. Your heartbeats were rapid in your chest, falling into his spell. You both flinched at the sudden start of a motorbike on the road, clearing your throat as you took the saucer in your hands.
“I- I think we have to go back” you stuttered.
Once you left with quick footsteps, Jay couldn't help but sigh. ‘Stupid, stupid you’ he told himself. He was so close, he should've just kissed you. No- that's wrong. He didn't have the heart to ruin the 11 years of friendship between you two. It was better watching you from a step away than feet. He knew you, you'd keep distance from anyone you felt uncomfortable with. He couldn't do this to you- nor himself.
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
After that day, you couldn't ignore the thump in your heart whenever you saw your “best friend”. He somehow became 10x more attractive to you. And well, it would be a crime to lie to yourself that you didn't love him. Weeks and weeks passed, and it was clear to you that there was something more than friendship lingering in your conversations.
You'd occasionally catch him staring, or notice his cheeks flushing red at times. You noticed the somewhat gentle look in his eyes and the more than usual physical touch, but you couldn't ignore the hints of sadness in his tones.
You entered your classroom with hopes of seeing him, but noticed his absence. It worried you, considering his perfect attendance ever since he joined highschool. Weird.
“Hey Jihoon, where's Jay?” You asked the boy. His expression changed immediately, into a shocked but pitiful face.
“Didn't you hear? There's a rumor he's leaving school”
“W-what?”
“Yeah”
Later that day, you visited his house, notes in hand.
“Hi Mrs. Park” you greeted his mother with a smile and a hug. “Jay was absent today, so I brought my notes for him”
Her mouth opened and closed, calculating which words to speak out. You noticed her hesitation as she invited you to come inside.
“Where is he?” You asked her, taking a seat on a sofa.
“Y/n,” she sighed, placing her hand on yours. Your fingernails nervously picked on your skin, hoping the rumor stayed a rumor. “We've decided to send Jay to live with his aunt in Canada. He'll be doing his higher studies there as well”
“Huh?” You said, hopelessly.
“I don't know why he hasn't told you yet” she said, caressing your hair in a comforting manner.
“I- It's fine, I'll get going then” you said blankly, taking the notes in your hands and mindlessly walking towards the door.
“He'll be leaving on the 9th” she added, halting you mid way. “Take care, dear”
‘You too, Mrs. Park’ you tried but simply couldn't voice it.
You entered your house without a word, running straight to your room and sinking yourself into your bed, trying to mute the conclusions in your head. You couldn't help but burst into tears.
You thought he loved you. ‘Stupid, stupid you’ you told yourself. You got your hopes high for nothing, in the end, only you were left in the dark. Let alone love, was it even a genuine friendship? Overthinking clouded your brain, tears flowing like rivers down your cheeks.
You spent your days in despair, probably only 5 words coming out of your mouth a day. Your eyes were bloodshot and lips pale, and your heart shattered. Your thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
You opened it, only to see the reason for your depression. He greeted you with a soft smile… probably the last, but his eyes flooded in guilt as he examined your worn out eyes and tired expression. You closed the door, blocking him just like he did, leaning on the door as he tried to open it.
“Y/n, let me explain, please” you heard from the other side, tears flowing down your cheeks once again. Your heart ached once the banging stopped and his footsteps faded. He gave up so soon. You sat yourself on the ground, bringing your knees up to your chest. ‘What was I expecting’.
Jay's balled up fists ached from banging at the door he knew you'd never open, but the thing in his chest ached more than he could've imagined was possible. Sighing in defeat, he leaned his forehead to the door he once treated his own.
‘Y/n, I'm sorry’ he wished he whispered a little louder.
His lips quivered, resisting the tears as he heard your muffled sobs. He made you cry. Those tears; he was the cause. It was always Jay who dried your tears- how the tables have turned.
Jay stayed there, wondering how many years it would take for you to let him in. Every muscle in his body protested leaving you behind as he walked away from his heart's home.
He sighed, crossing the 9th of his calendar, before stashing it into his luggage and carrying it down the stairs.
“Are you ready, honey?” He heard from across the room, and nodded in response.
“Isn't y/n gonna see you off, son?” his father spoke from the driver's seat.
“Uh- no dad. She's… busy”
Jay's crouched figure sparked to life at the familiar, already vandalized, ‘stop’ sign in which you two took part in as well. He dared to hope see you look out of the balcony like you always did- with that bright expression on your face. But instead, your street passed like any other. He sighed. ‘What was I expecting’.
After days spent in the dark, you drew your curtains open, finally letting in the light.
The 9th of February. He was leaving.
Gripping the railing, you faltered once you caught a glimpse of familiar numbers on a familiar car.
‘Four. Seven. Two. Eight’
Your eyes widened. You scraped the black metal off the railing as you clenched your fists in frustration.
‘I missed him. Again’
Gender Euphoria
I'm late (only discovered this event today), but have my lil fill for day 2 @stevieweek! Prompt was "gender euphoria," but it can also (probably) fill "first dress."
Rating: G | CWs: Dysphoria | Word Count: 707 | Pairing: Gen (or can be read as one-sided Stobin)
“It’s shocked me to my core, but I like you. I really like you. But I’m not like your other friends, and I’m not like Nancy Wheeler.”
“Robin. That’s exactly why I like you.”
“Tammy Thompson. I wanted her to look at me.”
“But Tammy Thompson’s a girl… Oh.”
It’d been months since their conversation on the floor of the men’s bathroom at the Starcourt movie theater, and Steve still couldn’t get it out of his head. At first, he’d thought maybe he was still weird about Robin liking girls, but that didn’t feel right. He’d thought maybe it was his crush on her, but he respected her boundaries. She was his best friend, and that was perfect! He’d never had anyone like her in his life before. Tommy used to be his best friend, and he’d never even come close to how much Steve and Robin clicked.
Steve spent night after night staring at the ceiling of his bedroom in the dark, forced to contemplate it. It was that or think about the nightmares. He’d been, not sad, something else, when Robin essentially told him she didn’t like him back because he was a boy. It wasn’t how being turned down normally felt. This was like a throbbing ache in his chest and a hollowness in his stomach. It felt like being called bullshit by Nancy. Like he was wrong. Then the tears started falling.
He only let himself cry like this in the dark of his room with his parents away. Great heaving sobs where his breath hitched, clutching at his chest like he wanted to rip it open to tear out the negative feelings.
All his thoughts swirled through his head like he was drowning in them, being whisked away in a flood.
He remembered all the times he had felt like this in the past. How sometimes, with his skin crawling, he’d rush to the bathroom and frantically shave all his body hair to feel safe and normal. How his voice dropping had made him scream into his pillow at night. How he’d rub his fingers over and over his mother’s silkiest dresses when his parents were gone.
He’d explained it all away. He got used to being hairless during swimming, so of course, it felt weird having it back during the off-season. Alongside voice changes, puberty caused strong emotions from hormones (or something like that; that’s what the guidance counselor said during sex ed), so of course, he had the urge to scream sometimes. He missed his parents, but especially his mom, so of course, he wanted to feel close to her by grabbing the hem of her dress like he would when he was little.
It was all adding up, though, and sure, he wasn’t good at math, but he could add two plus two. All those times when he stared at girls’ hair and makeup a little too long feeling envious of how pretty they were. How much care and attention he paid to his own hair, keeping it as long as his father would let him.
Maybe he was… a girl? He- she- she decided to test her idea.
In the dark of night, she padded down the stairs to her parents’ room. She looked through her mother’s closet for a dress that looked like it might fit. She grabbed the first one she found in a stretchy fabric and headed to the ensuite.
The drawers on the right held her mother’s makeup, and while she didn’t quite know how to put it all on, she’d seen Nancy and her mother do it enough times that she could make a decent guess.
She pulled the dress over her head, fluffed her hair, and started in on the makeup. It felt right wrong right, so she leaned in as close to the mirror as she could so she couldn’t see the whole image. Just focused on applying the eyeshadow, liner, blush, lipstick. Until there was nothing left. Until she had to step back from the mirror.
She burst out into tears again, instantly ruining her work. Mascara ran down her cheeks. But her heart soared. She felt like she’d float away into the stars.
She’d never looked more like herself.
Prologue. . .Chapter Twenty-Eight
Chapter Twenty-Nine
The group ran down the stairs and down into the comms room, trying to process what they had just witnessed. The Russians were opening a gate into the Upside Down.
"I don't understand," Ronnie said. "You've seen this before?"
"Not exactly," Steve and Robin said in unison.
"Then what exactly?" Ronnie asked. "If someone doesn't start explaining to me what the fuck is going on, I'm going to lose my shit! I'm pretty much there already!"
"All you need to know is that it's bad," Dustin said.
"Like really bad," Steve said.
"Like, end of the human race as we know it, kind of bad," Dustin said.
"I wish we had time to explain to you about everything, but we need to focus on getting out of here," Chrissy said.
"Uh, Steve, where's your Russian friend?" Erica asked.
That's when they all realized that the Russian that Steve had knocked out was no longer there. The alarms started blaring, and they were soon spotted in the comms room. They took off rather quickly. Ronnie cursed the entire way. Well, they all were cursing, but Ronnie was the loudest. Chrissy understood. She was kept being left in the dark, without knowing anything that was going on. They ended up running right into the room with the machine, right at the opening to the gate. The back of her neck was driving Chrissy crazy and she could hear the voice calling out to her, beckoning her to enter. . .to come home. Eddie grabbed her hand, and then they were running again. They ran right through another door, closing it behind the Russians. Sinking down from sight, Chrissy concentrated and held the door with her powers. Still, Robin, Steve, Eddie, and Ronnie pressed themselves up against the door.
"Chrissy, your nose is bleeding!" Ronnie yelled.
"Come on, let's go!" Erica yelled.
Erica had found a vent on the floor and popped it open.
"You have to go!" Steve yelled.
"Go, come on, let's go!" Dustin exclaimed.
"No, just go get some help, okay?!" Steve yelled.
"Chrissy, go with them! We can't let the Russians find out about you! Normally, I would never try and tell you what to do, but this is important. The kids need someone to look out for them," Eddie said.
"Eddie, no!" Chrissy exclaimed. "Am I supposed to leave you here?"
Her powers faltered, and the door moved slightly.
"Yes! Yes, you have to," Eddie said. "We've got this, baby."
"I don't know if I do," Chrissy said with a sob.
"Yes, you do. We always find each other, remember? We'll do it again," Eddie grunted as he pushed on the door.
"Ronnie. . .go with her!" Robin yelled. "Chrissy needs someone to look out for her, too!"
"Like hell that I'm leaving - ," Ronnie started to say.
"Ronnie, you're my best friend in the entire world. . .please, I've never asked you for anything. . .I need to know she's okay, and I'll know that as long as she's with you, she'll be okay," Eddie said.
"Bullshit," Ronnie cried. "You ask me for shit all the time."
"Eddie," Chrissy cried.
"GO!" Steve, Robin, and Eddie yelled.
"I won't forget you!" Dustin yelled.
Ronnie and Chrissy followed the kids through the vents. Chrissy held the door with her powers for as long as possible, but finally, she had no choice but to let go. They had gotten pretty far, but they had still heard it. The slamming of the doors, the screams coming from the Russians and their friends. Chrissy stifled a sob, her heart breaking. She'll see them again. She'll see Eddie again. They'll find each other, they always do. She tried to reach out to Eddie, but his walls were up. He was keeping her out on purpose. As they moved through the vent, Dustin started explaining everything to Erica and Ronnie. Chrissy was grateful to her brother. She wasn't sure if she could explain it very well.
". . .so, when we set fire to the hub, we drew the demogorgons away so El could close the gate, but now, for some insane reason, the Russians appear to be trying to reopen it," Dustin said. "Which just destroys everything we risked our lives for."
Dustin was currently trying to stop the fan from spinning so they could get through to the other side of it. Meanwhile, the only thing Erica wasn't buying about all of it was the fact that her brother had been involved. Chrissy rolled her eyes but smiled. Younger siblings could be such little shits sometimes. Chrissy looked over at Ronnie. She was hunched over, trying to fit herself in there as much as possible. Her chin was pressed against her knees, staring at the bottom of the vent.
"Ronnie?" Chrissy asked.
"It's hard to comprehend that you guys have been through all this shit but I'm trying," Ronnie swallowed.
"Are you mad?" Chrissy asked.
"I'm fucking pissed but I get that you guys couldn't tell us but I'm even more pissed that you all had to deal with this," Ronnie said. "I mean, what the fuck?"
"I know," Chrissy said softly and took her hand.
"You were trapped in an alternative dimension for like a week, those scars. . .from a fucking demogorgon! And you have powers!" Ronnie laughed in disbelief. "Is this a dream? Are we all having the same dream?"
"I wish," she said.
Ronnie sighed and pressed her forehead to her knees.
"I'm worried about Robin," she said. "I'm fucking terrified."
"Me too," Chrissy whispered.
"And Steve and Eddie. . .," she said. "I love her."
"I know."
Chrissy pressed her cheek up against her shoulder, letting Ronnie know that she wasn't alone. Even though it was hotter than hell in the vent, Ronnie didn't brush her off. They were briefly taken away from the problems by Dustin proving that Erica Sinclair was, in fact, a nerd. It amused them to no end. Dustin got the fans to finally stop, and they immediately crawled through them. They made their way out and into a room with tons of containers of the green goo. They found a small vehicle off to the side, and Dustin rushed towards it, with delight.
"You are not driving just because Max did it!" Chrissy yelled at her brother. "You find the keys, you give them to me or Ronnie."
"Ugh, you're no fun," Dustin said and she rolled her eyes, smiling.
She tried to focus on Dustin and not the fact that she couldn't feel Eddie or his wall. He was either knocked unconscious or. . .she did not want to think about the alternative.
"Hey, Dustin?" Erica asked. "How tall did you say that demogorgon was?"
"About nine feet or so. Why?" Dustin asked.
Chrissy and Ronnie turned around to find Erica looking at a rather large cage. Yeah, that could definitely fit a demogorgon. Ronnie moved closer to the younger girl, and together, they went around the cage as Dustin worked on finding the keys. Erica and Ronnie came out with some sort of metal rods. If Chrissy had to guess, they were most likely used on the demogorgons that the Russians brought back through the gate to study. She wouldn't be surprised if they weren't shipping the creatures back to Russia to study. Well, that was terrifying to think about. Russia weaponizing demogorgons? Chrissy shuddered, almost missing Erica and Ronnie startling Dustin with the electrical prod.
"Jesus, what is that?" Dustin asked.
"A deadly weapon," Erica said, and Chrissy snorted.
"For what?" Dustin asked.
"What do you think? Taking down commies, saving your friends," Erica replied.
"She's right. They could be useful. I'm definitely keeping this and taking it back with me to New York," Ronnie said. "You want to mess with me? ZAP!"
Chrissy couldn't help but smile at that and giggled when Erica laughed with delight.
"We don't even know where they are," Dustin pointed out. "And even if we did, there are a million guards up there with weapons way deadlier than that. The best thing we can do for them is to get out of here and find help. Our chance of surviving and theirs rises substantially. Just trust me on this. Please?"
"Yeah, you're right, Dustin, but I do think the quicker we find them the better and I have powers - ," Chrissy said.
"You heard Eddie! The Russians can't find out about you!" Dustin exclaimed, and then his eyes filled with tears. "I can't lose you, Chrissy! Mom can't handle losing you either!"
Suddenly, Chrissy pictured getting captured and being experimented on like the demogorgons. . .her head shaved like El's. She pictured her mother and brother crying, worrying that she may never come home again. Damn. Her brother was right. She slid into the driver's seat with the keys, Ronnie joining her while the kids got into the back.
"Let's go," Chrissy said.
"Wait!" Erica yelled. "I have an idea."
Chrissy cursed. She should not have let Erica do this, but she was also quite eager to get the others out as quickly as possible. It didn't take much to convince Dustin either. Who knows what the Russians were doing to them? Turns out it was quite easy once they found out where they were being held and when Erica set off a bunch of the green goo, creating a giant hole in the floor as well as a distraction. Once, it was clear, Dustin ran ahead of Chrissy, and before she could stop him, he jammed the prod into the doctor's chest. Chrissy was shocked for a moment as the doctor dropped lifelessly to the floor. Her brother just killed a man. She didn't have time to dwell on that because she quickly focused on Steve, Robin, and Eddie tied together.
"Hey! Henderson! That's crazy, I was just talking about you," Steve said with a goofy smile.
Ronnie and Chrissy immediately moved to help Dustin untie the others. Robin had a split lip, while both Eddie and Steve looked rather bloody. Chrissy's stomach rolled at the sight of Eddie's hand. Two of his fingernails were missing.
"My love!" Eddie exclaimed, beaming happily at Chrissy. "You came to rescue me! My hero. . .gimme a kiss. I have an owie."
"They seem pretty out of it," Chrissy frowned.
"Yeah. I think they're drugged," Ronnie said and scowled. "I'm going to kill every last one of them and then I'm going to burn this fucking place to the ground."
"She loves me," Robin sighed happily.
They somehow managed to get Dustin, Erica, Steve, Robin, and Eddie into the back of the vehicle. It was a miracle. This time, Ronnie wanted to drive, so Chrissy let her. The feeling on the back of her neck had grown exponentially now, and she felt like it was spreading to her entire head. Someone was calling for her, screaming at her from inside her head.
"CHRISSY!"
She recognized the voice. She knew it ao well, like the back of her hand. She remembered loving it the minute she heard it the first time they had met and how it made her feel. Although she didn't know at the time what that feeling had been. Chrissy bent over and gasped in pain. The screaming was killing her now.
"Chrissy?!" Ronnie yelled as she came to a stop.
"Heather," Chrissy whispered.
"What?" Dustin asked. "What about Heather?!"
And then she felt it, like a gun going off inside her head. The imaginary bullet traveling down to her heart and she hollered, tears streaming down her face.
"She's dead. She's dead."
Next Door || Sena and León
@the-life-we-fear
‘You could always live at mine,’ Telemachus said as he hefted one of León’s suitcases up the narrow stairs.
‘On top of your parents?’ León snorted and skipped up a few steps. Stopping on the landing, he spun around to face Telemachus. ‘We would kill each other if I lived with you.’
The cramped corridor of the ancient building was bustling with international students moving into their new dorms.
Telemachus grumbled and snipped at a stranger as they pushed past. ‘No?’ He set the suitcase on its wheels when he reached the landing. ‘I am perfect to live with.’
‘Control freak!’ León leaned up, a grin on his face as he flicked Telemachus’ nose. ‘You are too uptight. I won’t be able to fart without you having a fit.’
The pair bickered in Catalan down to León’s new room. ‘Here I am.’ León fiddled with the lock and had to give the warped door a hard elbow before it opened. It was small but light. The stone floor and beige-painted walls gave way to the view of the city.
‘Look at this!’ León ran to the bed and flung himself on it. ‘Look at it!’
Telemachus scrunched his face at the sparse, cold room and deposited León’s suitcase by the door. ‘It is empty.’
‘Look!’ León bolted off the bed and inspected a buzzing small fridge. ‘I can put wine in here.’
‘Hm.’ Telemachus rolled his eyes and turned to watch the other students peering in to watch the strange guy screaming enthusiastically about how great these terrible rooms were. ‘They think you are insane,’ Telemachus said.
‘Fuck them.’ León grabbed a wine from his suitcase and stuffed it in the fridge. In full view of the onlookers, he started unpacking everything else.
