Yandere Billy and Stu (1/4)
Tumblr media
Your eyes ran over the room you were in, taking in the soft light that went through the window. But Casey had been late, it left feelings of unease and dread into you, and it all made you sick to the stomach, whoever this killer was was sick. But you remembered your promise to Tatum that you were staying over at their house. And you mentally cursed remembering your own words before, ‘i’m not much of a party person’. You hated it,
you remembered when Casey was still here she would always tell everyone about how shy you were and it wasn’t near any good way. She was your childhood friend but despite all the bullying, it left a small void in you she wasn’t here, she had been your best friend since you were kids..you decided against it, it was better to go rest instead of think now, you walked over to the bathroom to get ready for the night.
You brushed your teeth almost absent mindedly before you snapped out of your blissful dream state by a phone call. You weren’t expecting one, since the sun went down. Therefor you knew better than to pick it up, it was night. You recalled your parents words, shaking hand hovering over the phone you picked it up. Lifting the phone to your ear you heard a little static. You raised a brow and held the phone tighter, “…”“Not even a hello?” it hadn’t sounded familiar. Surely distinct, “Who is this? Do i know you..?” She quipped on the phone, but not in a snarky remark.
“Just wanted to have a little talk, or is this the wrong number?”, Y/N being unsure gripped the telephone a bit tighter, twirling the wire around it was a nervous habit, “This is the wrong number, bye.” “But i’m wanting to play a little game~” It sounded mockingly playful it frustrated her a bit, she shoved the phone back into the receiver, hand trembling.
It rung again, two rings to be exact this time, and she answered, she couldn’t get a word out. “You hung up again, why is that..” “..Y/N?”
This was all too fast. Mentally she cursed before clutching the phone tighter, “W-what do you want from me?..” She whimpered quietly, leaving the other ‘person’ on the phone to laugh loudly. “Isn’t that simple? Look how gullible you are. Little y/n.”
Tears rolled down her chubby cheeks immediately, she knew who this was. He was Casey’s murderer, it was this sick bastard. In a fast movement she threw the phone and broke into quiet sobs, flocking to the door and reaching to lock it only for her heart to drop into her stomach in realization it was wide open. She pierced the figure’s ears with her loud scream. Her hands pawing at his own to let go, sobbing cut off as their fingers wrapped around Y/N’s windpipe. She was devoid of any noise. She reached for the mask, with choked blabbering only on deaf ears. It tilted their head away mockingly when she reached for the mask. She shot up, elbow slamming into the figure’s side, they let out a loud grunt. “You little—“ They didn’t get a word out before Y/n swung at the figure again. Ensuring they stayed down.
Pushing the figure off of her she gasped for air. Throwing her body back against the counter and holding onto it’s edge. Standing up and taking off in a fast bolt towards the stairs, the figure left abandoned with a aching side on the ground, you broke out into pants, gripping the phone tighlty after locking the door to your bedroom. Contacting the police, her heart was racing with fear, what the hell had happened just now began to take a toll on her mind, she already had dealt with the death of her friend Casey but now she was being attacked, when the sirens flashed. “Y/n. What the hell happened baby?!” She cried out when arms wrapped around her. Eyes widenening in confusion and terror when she realized the window was open but she was so absent minded she didn’t realize. “Billy..” Her voice broke when she spoke, she saw his concerned gaze. But she couldn’t trust him.
She shoved him off of her, afraid. And he looked almost hurt she didn’t see through as he feigned worry and heartbreak. “Y/n-“ “Don’t t-touch me!” She babbled shakily, pushing his hands off once more when he tried to touch her again. Billy knew this wasn’t any time to touch her now considering her state, she didn’t want to. The police a matter of time they had showed up at the door. Running downstairs leaving billy abandoned in the bedroom you ran and saw Dwight. Your friend’s older brother pushing through the crowd.
“Dewey!” She cried out loud.

Anyways, Simon dressing up as Dewey from SCREAM since their last names are Riley. Your almost surprised he didn't go as Ghostface considering his callsign, but it's worth seeing him in a more tame uniform with the bonus of seeing his face more.

A Little Jealous | Dewey Riley x m!reader
summary: Dewey isn't acting himself, but you know exactly what's going on.
tws: swearing, jealousy

"I don't like it." Dewey pouted slightly as he folded his arms across his chest, near enough glaring at you with those big brown eyes as he clenched his jaw. The cup of coffee sat in front of him was left untouched, even if you had made it just the way he liked it. Even if he did ask for it earlier.
Deputy Dewey, the prettiest cop to ever exist and the best man you had ever met in your life, was jealous. It was something you had never seen before, and although you didn't want to, you couldn't help but to find it endearing and adorable; he wasn't lashing out, he wasn't demanding that you change your plans or the way you dressed or the who you spent time with - he was just pouty, and a little bit childish.
You wanted to laugh, to grin and giggle as you looked at him, but you knew you couldn't.
"Relax, Dew," you told him softly, shaking your head. "There's nothing for you to worry about - you know you're the only one for me."
He shook his head, he couldn't stop thinking about the guy from earlier; Mark or whatever his name was, some hot shot from the Hollywood police, with fluffy dark brown hair, a chiselled jaw, who made better money and had a nicer place to live and a better car. The same guy who flirted with you until Dewey eventually walked away and you chased after him.
Now, Dewey was sat at your kitchen table, fiddling with a pen as he glared at you and tried to squash his jealousy; he had no reason to feel the way he did, he trusted you and he knew you better than he knew himself, there was no reason for him to doubt that you were his boyfriend, his entire world. There was no reason for Dewey to feel so jealous, but he couldn't help it; he couldn't stop himself, even though he desperately wanted to.
"Dewey," you called sweetly, gently pushing his chair back until you could kneel between his legs, looking up at him with a smile as you rested your hands on his knees. "Dewey."
He looked at you, frowning. "What?"
"Who's the guy that rubs my back every time I have food poisoning?" You asked. "Who lets me use his thigh as a pillow when I get home from work late and can't be bothered to go to bed? Who blushes every time he says I'm handsome?"
He smiled, blushing a little. "Me."
"You," you nodded, tapping his knee gently. "And who is it that always used to come over my family's house when we were kids and would keep me company because I was scared to be alone?"
"Me, again?"
"Yeah," you tapped his knee again, grinning from ear to ear. "C'mon, man, you really think I'd leave you for some fucking stranger?"
"Well… no… but-"
"No buts," you shook your head, getting up and moving the coffee so you could sit at the edge of the table. "Dwight Riley, I told you about… what? Eight years ago?"
"Eight years in two months," he corrected.
"Right, eight years," you chuckled. "I told you, eight years ago, that as soon as it was legal, we'll get married - didn't I?"
"Yeah," he nodded slowly. "Yeah, you did."
"C'mere," you gestured for him to come closer, not really expecting him to get up and spread your legs so that he could stand between them, his hands on the sides of your thighs as he gazed at you with those big brown eyes. You brought your hands to his face, trying not to laugh at how his growing scruff tickled your skin. "Oh, baby…"
Dewey shook his head, leaning in closer and kissing you softly; his moustache tickled your skin, forcing you to grin as you did your best not to break the kiss by laughing. You wanted to laugh against him so badly, and you had a feeling that he knew, as he tugged you a little closer, and dared to deepen the kiss to shut you up; he only did that when he didn't want you to make him laugh along with you.
He pulled away, making sure to 'accidentally' tickle you with his moustache again just to draw a laugh from you, and he smiled.
"Sorry about getting jealous."
You shook your head. "It's alright. Fuck knows how many times I've gotten jealous before."
He tilted his head to the side, furrowing his brows as that beautiful blush came to his features, making him look the same way that he did when you kissed him for the first time. "You? Jealous?"
You nodded, daring to laugh softly as you reached to cover your face, bashfulness taking over and making you want to hide a little bit. "Here and there… I mean surely you knew that everybody in Woodsboro had a crush on you."
He scoffed, but gently reached for your wrist so that he could pull your hand away from your face. "Don't cover your smile… and they didn't. You were the only one who did."
"Oh, I wasn't," you laughed. "Half your colleagues wanted to get with you - I just happened to be lucky."
"Yeah, well…" he shrugged. "Maybe we're both lucky guys."
"Maybe," you hummed, raking your hand through his hair to stop yourself from covering your face again. "Or maybe you're my lucky charm and I'm yours… but, that's besides the point - you have no reason to get jealous of Mark. He's just some guy, but you? You're my husband."
Dewey couldn't stop himself, pressing his face against the side of your neck so that you wouldn't see how harsh he was blushing, how his features had turned absolutely bright red and how he was nearly reduced to a giggly, bashful, mess. "You mean that?"
You hummed softly, pushing him away so that you could get a good look at him; the blush on his face only made him that bit more attractive than he usually was, you couldn't deny it. "Always, Deputy."

Yandere Billy and Stu (2/4)
Tumblr media
“Dewey!” She cried out
Instinctively Dwight ran over to her. Immediately wrapping arms around the woman’s sobbing form, not letting go as her cries muffled against his jacket, he held her tightly. Shushing her quietly, “Y/n!” Tatum herself arrived right after her older brother, she shoved the male to the side and hugged you tightly. Police barged into the home, on search. “What happened?” Dwight was just as concerned as Tatum, hell from the screaming and crying they could already tell what had happened, not until heads turned around to see Billy.
“Officer-i didn’t do anything!” Billy declared, angrily wriggling against the grip of the officer along with the cuffs. He locked eyes with you it sent shivers down your spine how void of emotion they looked. “Y/n! Tell them-“ The officer had none of it before Billy was shoved into the back of the car. You were frustrated how so suddenly and coincidentally your best friend Sidney’s boyfriend just shows up at the window right after an attacker that didn’t last too long fortunately, Tatum looked you over. “Dwight-please she should stay with us for now!”
Tatum knew better than to leave you alone, no one deserved to grief the death of their friend and have the same person who killed her friend come after her aswell. Y/n dealt with it alone would only toll on the poor girl. Her hair was all messy and a bit matted, She needed a break, a real long break from everything, going back to their house, their mother welcomed you eagerly with open arms to stay over, Tatum had been in the bathroom, While Dwight had been fluffing the pillows as clumsily, he remembered copying Tatum when she made her bed. “You can stay with Tatum.” His words were comforting, you had hoped no one fell victim to the killer anymore afterwards. Tatum arrived back, looking at you. “Billy is such a freak.” She mumbled before she sat on the bed opposite of you. You looked at her from the plush pillow. “Other than..what he did just now,” You started. Tatum nodded, “I don’t trust him even with Sid you know?”
Sidney was your friend ever since you moved to woodsboro, she knew you before the whole ordeal, ever since Billy started dating her Tatum saw the way Billy would look at you. He was weird, but the mention of Sidney tugged your heart strings, you knew she went missing right after Casey. It left only you, Tatum, Dwight. Billy, Randy, and Stu, but you were more comfortable around your friend’s boyfriend than Billy. Stu always made you laugh, he was eccentric but you couldn’t help but feel unease under his gaze-
Morning came around as sun shone through the windows of Tatum’s house, the blonde woke up before you. Just as tired before both of you walked to school, she had an arm around you. “Hey Y/n?” You both got interrupted by the sound of Randy’s voice. The Moviestore geek smiled at you. Tatum rolled her eyes. “She doesn’t want to talk.” He frowned a bit before he got to your side. He saw you flash him a small smile, your hand entertwined with his.
Ever since you and Randy got well acquainted you hadn’t admitted the fact you had a crush on the boy, despite everyone really just casting him in a bad light as some psycho geek sometimes, with recent news of Billy being interrogated as of current in the office. It was why Dewey wasn’t here,
“You heard about what happened with that guy?” “Billy?” Randy wasn’t the biggest fan of billy, he continued “It’s like standard horror movie shit- i told you he’s the prime suspect” Tatum gave Randy a side glare, “Did they interrogate you aswell?” She turned to him, it was a light question.
“Why would they ask you if you like to hunt. “‘Cause their bodies were gutted.”
The sound of Stu’s voice startled everyone. But you saw the way his eyes focused on you. He sent Randy a glare that only he would see, “Hey buddy.” He mocked, looking him up and down. Randy just stared blankly, not fazed. He looked back at you, sending you a look only you could see. He didn’t like Stu. “Hey Stu didn’t you used to date Casey?” You spoke up, As you all settled near the fountain. “Yeah for like 2 seconds.” He chortled, “Before she dumped you for Steve” Randy leaned his head in and chimed for a second.
“I thought you dumped her for me?” Tatum asked, Stu nodded and looked at Randy again, “I did he’s full of shit.” Randy retorted, “Maybe you did kill her since she dumped you.”
“Stu was with me,” Tatum shifted closer to Stu, he nodded aswell, sending a sleazy grin to Randy not without glancing at you,
Moving to woodsboro was a hectic start back then. But it was a opportunity to have made friends since you had moved there at a young age you had forgotten your own home town of before, but ever since this ghostface fucked around the town. Whoever they were,
“Well everyone has those officer.” Billy declared, the male had been abandoned at the police station for interrogation. To everyone’s dismay as the sheriff checked a call record there was no proof of him ever calling anyone at all. Deep down he was happy in a twisted way. He saw everyone here a potential victim afterwards. He cleared the record. No one would get in between him and Stu and you.
Ever since Stu laid eyes on you, Casey’s friend. Albeit, him and Billy yes, well weren’t expecting it. They’re killers, not people meant to be lovers, but it was a thorough plan both males had been thinking about ever since, no one ever suspected them, if Billy could get his hands on you again..
——
Walking back home to Tatum’s house, she was out for a while, you remembered her telling you she needed to get a few things before she came back. Wandering alone in the house your mind swam with thoughts. You heard the telephone ring,
Anger bubbled into her as she thought about it. Her hands clenching onto the phone pulling it out of the receiver. “You son of a bitch!” The words came out with a flurry of emotions. She couldn’t hold back her hatred for this cruel killer, “Ah ah ah, that’s not how you great a friend, is it?” It sounded more grainy, whoever this was. No one would admit to give it to them the modulator being used for their voice was more to hide the evidence and identity of who they were. “We aren’t friends you ps-psycho!” And it couldn’t helpt but break into tears again, they had killed her friends, they had attacked her, she didn’t have her parents. What more could she do? She had hoped Tatum arrived soon. “Why the tears. Y/N?” They snarled on the phone angrily. “Fuck you!” The phone was shoved back into the receiver. Falling onto the floor breaking into wails.
T”Y/N!” Tatum’s eyes widened, the blonde rushed over to her sobbing friend’s side. She hugged her tightly and felt tears soaking her own shirt, “What’s wrong, Y/N? Was it him again?”
Tatum heard the phone ring again, she couldn’t let this happen, it can’t keep happening. Seeing her friend, who had nothing to do with this, who was innocent, to be toyed with like this, “T-tate-no!” She cried.
“Who the fuck is this? What the hell do you think this is some kind of joke?!”
Static was on the other side, this only got more out of hand by day. “Your protecting your dear little Y/N.”
“Tatum?” They taunted,

"Where is he?”
I wasn't sure who I was asking as a crowd of people blocked my view of the hospital. I'd known my dad was trying to help Tara and her sister, but when I saw multiple police cars racing towards the hospital I got an awful feeling in my stomach.
I pushed past the few people on front of me until I was at the front of the crowd. Police were surrounding the entrance to the large building, and I could see Tara and Sam standing with aunt Sidney and my mom.
"Ma'am, you can't-" someone tried to stop me but I just shoved them roughly out of the way and started running towards them. Sidney was the first one to notice me.
"Tatum!" My mom turned when Sidney called my name and took a step towards me while Sam and Tara looked away.
"Where is he?" I demanded as I go to them, ignoring my mom and aunt as I looked at Tara and Sam. "He came here with you guys, where is he?"
"Tatum, sweetheart-" my mom reached out to touch me but I shrugged her hold off
"Where is he?!"
"We tried to stop him..." Sam finally said, and I felt my blood run cold. I happened to glance over at the entrance of the building as two paramedics were rolling out a body bag.
"Tatum, don't-" my mom started to say as she tried to grab me but I dodged her arms and started running towards them.
"Stop her!" Someone yelled but I wasn't sure who, I just kept running. When I got there one of the paramedics moved forwards and wrapped his arms around me to pull me away.
"No! Please! I need to see if it's him!" I cried as I tried to fight the man's hold on me. Tears were streaming down my face as I knew who was in the bag, but it didn't stop me from praying it was someone else. That my dad would walk out of the building in a second, hurt, but ultimately okay.
The two paramedics looked at each other before one reached up to unzip the bag slightly, and I froze when I saw the face staring up at me. His eyes were empty and face was blank, but it was him. More tears fell from my eyes as I just stood there and stared at him. After a moment the man's arms disappeared, and a woman's replaced them.
"Tatum..." My mom's voice spoke, and I just started crying harder. I cried because her arms felt wrong around me, she was never the one to comfort me. She wasn't the one who held me when I fell of my bike, or when watched a scary movie at a friends house and couldn't sleep because I was scared that night,or when a boy broke my heart. It was always my dad's, and he'd never hold me like that again. He was gone.
•••••••
My eyes snapped open as the dream, or memory, faded, and I started to wake up. I'd had that dream more times then I could count, so often that at this point I didn't cry when I woke anymore. I just accepted it and continued with my day.
As I laid in bed I glanced around the room. If you walked in you'd never think someone lived in the small one bedroom apartment. There were no decorations or photos besides the small photo of me and my dad on my nightstand. My clothes and belonging were still in the boxes I'd brought with me to New York almost a year ago. I never bother to unpack when my mom rented the place for me. She originally wanted me to have 'my own safe place' instead of living on campus, and the place is close to where she works, but I was sure she'd stop paying the bills on it after the fight we'd gotten into only a month after I moved in.
•••••••
"What the fuck is this?" My mom glanced up when she saw me storm into her home office, and she quickly stood up to greet me.
"What are you talking about? And watch your language." Normally I'd say something about being 18 and being able to say whatever the fuck I wanted, but I was to angry to care about that in the moment.
"This!" I yelled as I held my phone up to her. On it was an article I'd found of an interview she'd given only days ago. The title? 'Gale Weathers announces new book based on last year's murders.'
"That's an interview I did, what about it?"
"You're writing a book about the people who killed dad!"
"What about it? People want to know what happened, and at least I can provide the facts-"
"You don't know the facts! You weren't even there for most of it! You just showed up at the end to see all the drama-"
"I showed up because your dad told me your friends were being attacked and you weren't picking up my calls. I was worried about you." She tried to correct me but I just rolled my eyes. "I will be respectful of what happened and of your dad-"
"Like you were so respectful of this who died the first time." I snapped. "You were so respectful that you sold the book to be a movie, which is the only reason they killed dad. You're the reason my dads dead!"
My moms eyes widened at my words, but I didn't have it in me to care. These thoughts had been building in me for months and her agreeing to write a book on the murders was what broke the camel's back.
"I cared about your dad-"
"You never cared. You wrote awful things about him, caused multiple murders, and ultimately caused his death. I never understood how he forgave you the first time, and I won't forgive you this time."
"Tatum-"
"If you publish this book, I will never speak to you again."
"You're bluffing."
"Fucking try me."
•••••••
I reached out to the nightstand to grab my phone, checking my notifications. I had a few emails from school and the normal, everyday ones I get from my mom trying to check in on me that I never answer. And then a message from Chad.
Chad: hey, I heard about a party happening at some fraternity house. Wanna go?
Chad: everyone else is going. Even Tara
I rolled my eyes slightly after reading the texts. I'd had a childhood crush on Chad since I was old enough to know what that meant, and after Liv had died we ended up getting together. Even though I'd known I was a sort of rebound or distraction from what happened, at the time I'd thought it would blossom into something more. Instead we were just emotionally distant partners that would go days without talking. We rarely hung out without other people, we never had sex anymore, we didn't even kiss when around each other. And I was 90% sure he had a thing for Tera. He probably invited her the moment he found out about the party while I was probably the last person he texted.
Tatum: sounds fun. What time?
I set my phone to the side as I got up and headed for the shower to get ready for the day. I had a class in two hours I couldn't be late for. I stumbled into the bathroom and glanced in the mirror, my hair was slightly messy and some of my eyeliner had smudged since I didn't bother to take it off when I went to bed.
I turned the shower on before stripping out of my pajama pants and t-shirt. It was a DEVO shirt I'd stolen from my dad at some point. Once it was off I looked down at the few scars along my abdomen. Two were from Amber a year ago when we got in a fight, one was from when my appendix burst, and the other was from when I was 6. One of the teens who attacked Woodsboro had broken into our house and somehow I ended up stabbed. I didn't know much about it because o was so young and my dad had begged me to not ask about the event, and I trusted him that I didn't need to know about it.
I shook myself from my thoughts and got back to getting ready. I showered and got dressed, skipping breakfast and decided to just pick up a coffee when I got the school. Most of my day was uneventful, I sat through a music theory class and a history class on Fashion industry before I went to get lunch alone at a small cafe on campus. I probably could have texted Chad to get lunch together, but I could use the time to work on a design for class instead.
While I was busy sketching with my headphones in a hand waved in front of my face, making me sit back quickly and look up. I ended up seeing Ethan standing above me, an apologetic smile on his face.
"You scared me," I said as I pulled my headphones off, causing Ethan to laugh slightly.
"Sorry, I tried to get your attention but you couldn't hear me."
I nodded and just looked up at the boy, unsure of what to say. I didn't know Ethan all that well despite him being Chads roommate. He went to all the same parties as us and he was always there when I went to chads, but we never really talked one on one. He seemed nice enough, but I wasn't interested in really getting to know other people.
"So...can I help you?" I finally asked, fully aware of how rude it sounded. I just couldn't get myself to really care.
"Sorry, I'm probably bothering you. I just saw you sitting alone and thought I'd say hi. You're probably busy."
"Just...working on an assignment." I mumbled as I glanced down at the drawing. A small line went through the drawing from when I jerked when Ethan scared me.
"So... would you mind if I sat?" I glanced back up at Ethan at his request. It was then that I noticed he had one of the sandwiches from the cafe in his hand. "I'll be quiet and just work on my own homework. There's just no other tables." He motioned around to all the other tables which had groups of friends sitting at them. For a second I thought about turning him away, but I couldn't. He had the look of a lost puppy, and saying no would be the equivalent of kicking that puppy.
"Be my guest," I motioned to the table and he quickly sat down and pulled his computer out. We both worked for a bit, and thankfully Ethan kept his promise of staying quiet and just working the whole time.
"Going so soon?" Ethan asked when I started to pack my stuff up.
"I have one more class for the day." I quickly said as I slid my sketch book into my bag. I stood up and grabbed my garbage from the table.
"Are you going to the party tonight?"
I hesitated for a second. "Chad invited you?"
"Was he not supposed to?"
"No," I quickly said. "I just... yeah, I'm going." I finally said.
"I'll see you tonight then," Ethan smiled and I forced one back at him.
"See you then.”
•••••••••
I messed with my hair slightly as I looked in the camera of my phone. I was standing on a corner as I waited to meet up with everyone else.
"Hey!" I heard a yell and glanced up to see Chad, Tara, Mindy, Mindy's new girlfriend I hand learns the name of, and Ethan. I was almost shocked to not see Sam with them since she never let Tara out of her sight.
I slid my phone into my purse and forced a smile onto my face as I walked over to them. "Hi," I greeted as Chad wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I stiffened slightly at the uncommon position, a movement that should be second nature to a couple felt foreign with him.
"Good to see you," Chad smiled as he kissed the top of my head.
"You too," I smiled as I hugged him back before his hand slid from my shoulders to my hand. That was the extent of our interaction before we were walking to the party and Chad was talking to everyone else. I stayed quiet but kept our hands intertwined as we walked, any time he started to pull away I'd tighten my hand to keep him within arms length. I didn't go out much and I wasn't about to let go of my lifeline when I did.
We walked about a mile to the frat house, and most of the party was a blur. I drank a bit but mainly just sat on a couch and watched the people around me. Chad was immediately off and socializing, and I remembered at one point he got pissy because I wouldn't be his partner for a drinking game. But by the end of the night the group of us ended up at Chad and Ethan's apartment.
"Hey," Ethan sat down next to me on the couch. I had my arms crossed across my chest as I watched Chad with Tara. He was just standing with her and drinking, but the way they looked at each other pissed me off.
"Hi." I mumbled, not looking at the man.
   "Did you have fun tonight?"
"It was fine." I knew Ethan didn't deserve how I was talking to him, but at that moment I didn't really care. Truth was, I was tired. I was tired of being in a relationship that was going nowhere and watching Chads next relationship blossom in front of me.
"I'm leaving." I mumbled as I stood up quickly and walked over to Chad. "I'm leaving," I repeated to my boyfriend.
   "Already?"
"It's past midnight." Chad just looked at me for a moment.
"Okay." I scoffed when he turned to talk to Tara again. "What?"
"Most people's boyfriends would offer to walk their girlfriend home, or call her a car, or at least ask her to text him when she makes it home."
"Fine, text me when you get home." Chad said, clearly annoyed.
"Glad to see you worried about your girlfriend," I rolled my eyes while Chad let out a sigh.
"Are we really going to do this right now? You're ruining the vibe," he complained.
"I'm ruining the mood? You're the one who basically refused to spend any time with me all night!" I saw Tara cringe slightly at how loud I had become, and everyone else on the room had gone quiet. Even Mindy was silent as she watched me and her brother.
"I'd happily spend time with you if you weren't such a buzz kill. You just sit by yourself in the corner anytime we go anywhere and you just sit in your empty apartment alone. You used to be fun, but in the last year you've become awful to be around. I thought you were just getting over your dad but-"
"Don't!" I stepped close to Chad to point a finger in his face. "Don't way a word about my dad."
"It's been a year. I got over Liv, you have to get over your dad at some point."
We stood in silence for a moment before I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. "Fuck you chad." I spat before shoving him away and storming down the hall and to their bathroom.
By the time I slammed the door shut tears were streaming down my face. I was embarrassed and angry at Chad. I shouldn't have ever gone out tonight, I should have never agreed to go out with Chad in the first place. I slid down on the ground, leaning against the door and pulled my legs up to lay my head on as I cried.
I don't know how long I was there before someone was knocking on the door to the bathroom.
"Hold on!" I called out as I stood up, wiping at my face slightly. I was sure my makeup was a mess and I didn't feel like looking in the mirror before I opened the door. Ethan was standing in the other side.
"Sorry, you probably need in here." I mumbled as I started to walk past him, but he reached out to stop me.
"No, I- I was coming to check on you. You've been in here a while." He laughed awkwardly, prompting a small smile from me. "If it's any consolation, Chad was being a dick."
"Thanks, but you don't have to say that. I know you're friends with him." I mumbled. "Go, I probably looked like such a bitch to everyone."
"I thought you were right." Ethan shrugged. "Chad doesn't act like he's in a relationship with you, which is insane."
"Why? Cause I'm such a catch?" I joked, looking down at the ground. When I didn't hear anything from Ethan I glanced up to see him staring at me, a slight blush on his cheeks.
"I mean... yeah."
His words had a blush growing on my own face, and I wasn't really sure why. I really didn't know Ethan, he'd always just been Chads friend. Maybe it was just because it was attention from someone, maybe I just wanted some attention.
I took a small step towards Ethan, which prompted him to step towards me. "I don't think I've ever had someone call me a catch." I watched as a small smile grew on Ethan's face.
"Chad should be telling you regularly."
"Well, he's not. What are you gonna do about it?" I prompted, and after a second Ethan was leaning in to kiss me. I pushed my lips against his in what started as a gentle kiss, but I didn't want a gentle kiss. I stepped closer to Ethan and reached up to wrap my arms around his neck, one of my hands sinking into his curly hair. He reached out to wrap his arms around my hips, pulling me closer as he deepens the kiss. I opened my mouth to let his tongue into it as the kiss became sloppy.
"Which room is yours?" I asked as I pulled away slightly.
"Should we-"
"Which room is yours?" I asked again, a bit more pushy. Ethan looked at me for a second before nodding.
"Come on.”
