The way I click with Ramuda so organically is really something I put a lot of thought in. (JakuRamu as a couple as well. Perhaps because I come from a medical science background and a past-savior complex, Jakurai is relatable as well?)

I just… love them??? I love them so much!!! It’s fascinating just how much I click with them without having to make up headcanons or things like that. The original story itself is just 10/10 relatable, it feels as if the authors knew my life story. Of course they do not— anyhow, I am very lucky and blessed to have found characters I can relate deeply with. I wasn’t even looking for this when I got into Hypmic, I was just tricked by Hifudo fanarts, but I honestly found a character that is extremely close to who I am/how I feel and it is honestly so shocking to see it proven again and again.

I have been in fandom spaces ever since I was a pre-teen, never have I once kinned a character as strongly as I kinned Ramuda. (I think the closest I got when I was in high school was kinning Kise Ryota, who will probably have a closer personality to Sasara when he’s an adult.) I had been obseessed with so many characters in last.. 10 years or whatever since I’m actively using the internet? I have seen so many things but. Oh my god, Ramuda is just different.

And, most importantly, I don’t mean it in a hyperfixating way. I mean it literally. Like. All of my hyperfixations aside, when I put on a logical adult perspective— when I let go of all headcanons and just look at the canon character portrayal, all I can see is myself (of course not identically, not in an unhealthy/dellusional way). It is so shocking how somewhere in a country hundreds of thousands miles away, some people felt or witnessed likewise struggles and created Ramuda Amemura as a character. It’s just wild. Under all the bubbliness lays some darkness and in that darkness is also bubbliness and I never thought anyone could state it so… clearly and professionally? Like they really went there and made a character? And don’t even get me started with their bond with Jakurai?

I don’t know. I really did not expect to find a character so close to my heart. I just really, really, really feel blessed. Thank you, Ramuda, for existing; thank you to the staff who wrote/illustrated/voiced his story. It’s just. I don’t know. I just love Ramuda, just like that, so raw, so much like self love.
