Ok listen I know I spent the whole game referring to Ramcoh as “a Flammie” but this is silly. Just have Ramcoh be Ramcoh, the summoning item can still be called the Flammie Drum and just say Ramcoh is a descendent of the legendary Flammie.

Got to Level 99. Took screenshots for my builds so I can re-set them up next time. And completed the Bestiary. Thankfully found a good tip to use Half-Moon to get Lizardons to come out (good thing Morley invested all his points in Moon due to the insanity of the crit build). And thought to take Careena out since the vid I watched had Ramcoh still attacking even with her on defense.
Also...how do you get the Shadow Zero Ones to come out? Simple! Just refuse to use a Mythic Cookie/Opulent Incense or hit the nearby Valorfly since you'd lose more time walking back out of the area! No, seriously! They kept appearing after I refused to use a bonus!
NG+ begins next time...I only have the battle with the postgame boss on Hard left for Achievements...

Visions Of Mana Gets August Release Date In New Trailer
Tumblr media
Square Enis has announced that Visions of Mana launches August 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It did so with a new Visions of Mana trailer that runs for nearly four minutes and features plenty of gameplay and details about the upcoming RPG.
For the uninitiated, Visions of Mana is the first new mainline game in the franchise in 15 years. Across its 30 years of existence as a franchise, there have been 17 games, though what is now the Mana series today actually began as Final Fantasy Adventure in 1991.
In the trailer, we get a look at the five playable characters, including Soul Guard Val (voiced by Stephen Fu), Oracle of Wind Careena (voiced by Rachel Rial), Radiant Sword Morley, (voiced by Kaiji Tang), Queen of the Deep Palamena (voiced by Vanessa Lemonides), and Woodland Custodian Julei (voiced by Amber Aviles). Players can swap these characters in and out to create three-person parties and can change each character’s class to attune to different elements. They won’t be alone, though, as non-player companions can assist the player’s party in combat, according to the trailer.
Check out the Visions of Mana release date trailer for yourself below:

The standard edition of Visions of Mana will cost $59.99, but there is a Collector’s Edition for $199.99 that features a Ramcoh plush, the Art of Mana special issue, a Visions of Mana original soundtrack collector’s edition special box, and of course, the physical game. However, Square Enix says the PlayStation 4 standard and collector’s edition will not be available in the U.S.
Here’s a look at the Visions of Mana Collector’s Edition:

Even with the stuff going on, I was able to reach the skies! Oh, like we didn't know we were going to get to fly on a Sacred Beast...it was in the trailers!
...the only question was to answer whether or not Ramcoh would grow up. In reality, she's just being in a tiny body to save energy so she grows up so we can fly on Flammie and that she can still help us in battle.
Anyhow, Val being declared Alm of Light wasn't on my Bingo Board. Daelophos losing Cerulia being the cause of his rampage...yes. But not Val becoming an Alm. Explains while there was no named person in all of the acting troupe despite actors being the usual Alm.
Oh, and if Val looks like Sumo, Khoda looks like Randi. I mean, neither is 100%, but I get the feel.
So now we've finished up the remainder of Chapter 5 and all of the much shorter Chapter 6 (not as short as Chapter 3, though). Though I find it funny that the Steam Achievement for beating Chapter 6 is currently less than the one for flying on Flammie...the first thing you do in Chapter 7!
Next time, we're starting on a backtracking session now that we've got Flammie for easy transferrence between continents. Of course, with Benevodons on the loose, I'll just start at the beginning of a continent and then kill the Benevodons that I come across along the way.

The Sea Is Ours! Oh...and we made it to Gudju.
Why is it that Tatoh Temple is so full of Ramcoh being adorable? Ohgod I love this dragon so much. Though Vuscav having a love story was unexpected, and unexpectedly adorable. I did have a feeling we'd be getting our kappa turtle friend to help us navigate through to Gudju.
Yay! Watts! Figured he'd be a Gaian from the moment we saw what Eoren's people looked like in the intro. And now we've a lead on Gnome, and his Vessel. Keeping the classes we have though since I'd rather Careena focus on offense over defense.
Also, Bulettes are not as annoying as in Trials! Rejoice!
-
So, I am going to go out on a limb and make a prediction. Eoren is planning to use Hinna's Corestone to get the Mana Sword, since he talked about it on the Primm. However, it's going to either get him possessed by the Legendary Hero or revive the Legendary Hero and said hero isn't going to be too friendly to the lot of us! I mean, he looked a bit nasty from his small appearance in the trailer so I've a feeling he's going to be our main antagonist.
No, don't answer...I don't want to be spoiled!

Anyway, with time passing, gonna be a bit more liberal with revealing place names. Still being wary of story spoilers, though...
Doing a sidequest roundup just before going to Tsaata since I found more quests when doing one for an NPC in the moors...
(not major, but does indirectly refer to the end of Chapter 3)
Also, Ramcoh trying to cheer up Val is super adorable!

First boss after getting Careena down...
Okay, Ramcoh chasing after Sylphid's trails is super adorable! Flammie was always adorable, and a literal babbie of that race is even more adorable!
Anyway, taking a break. Might not have time later since my sis is coming over. We go forward to the drifts (and the start of the demo) next time.

So now that I can change classes...
Gonna play a bit with Dancer!Careena since I didn't really get around to doing that during the demo. Controls pretty fun, and I liked how she has a move to ride Ramcoh into enemies.

After some sidequests, back to working on the main story...
Ramcoh's cries definitely sound like an evolution of the sounds Flammie made on the SNES games. Also...adorable dragon companion yay!
