It got here just in time too since I'm heading on vacation next week and my doodle/sketch/notes book has been running out of pages. I always prefer notebooks with thick covers, spirals, and blank pages (as in no lines and stuff) but those have gotten harder to find in irl shops recently for some reason. So this is perfect!

shout out to the other ao3 curse where you click on a wip check the chapter index to see if the author updates at regular intervals (once a week or once a month it doesn’t matter as long as there’s a pattern). and they do they update every friday at 12 o’clock on the dot. so you’re like this is a great pick i love the tags it’s already over 50k so i have something to sink my teeth into until the next update.

except nothing appears on their regular update day but you think it’s not a big deal life happens you can’t expect people to work like machines sometimes your art takes you places. so you patiently wait another week then another week then another and suddenly it’s a year later and you haven’t seen a single update.

I would say that I have lost a bit of interest in writing currently ngl. I really do want to get back to it but really I should figure out a way to stop myself from looking at numbers and pushing myself. Like even without the pressure of like notes and stuff I put on myself I just have alot of thoughts that I am unable to write all of them on post since writing takes so much time. (Hmmm rather than lost interest I guess it is more of a burnout... still tho I can't write!!! TvT)

I took a small step back... well more like avoided writing for a bit and started drawing a little and well yeah.... time pasted 💀 I really want to come back to writing on way or another and I want to push myself to do so it is just a lil hard but we will see.

spot looking around for reasons to travel to manhattan for the day--yes, he needs to double check that kelly hasn’t been lenient with letting his boys stray, and yes he has to do it himself. no, hotshot is a perfect second in command, but spot’s going to the river anyways, he might as well do the laundry, he knows this great place in manhattan that’s real cheap. racetrack makes the parley trek every other week, sure, but sometimes brooklyn should extend the same curtesy, shouldn’t they? and yes spot will go, it’s fine, he wants some fresh air after a long day of...being outside
