My thoughts on the end of ep 3 (don't read if u haven't seen episode 3 yet)

Well, I got a spoiler that Ramah died (but tbf it was a comment on a yt video) so it didn't really shock me that much (it was still sad tho) but, like everyone else I have some ✨thoughts✨ abt it.

When Jesus said, "it's not her time," I immediately thought that she was going to rise, just not then. There's a piece of scripture that says after Jesus died, many believers rose from the dead, and I'm guessing that she's going to be one of them. If that's the case, I think that it was a good writing decision. But if not- then it was probably for shock 🥲

I'm not sure if it has been said before.

But when Jesus said "it is not her time" when Thomas begged for Him to bring Ramah back, perhaps He meant for her to rise from the dead the moment Jesus Himself dies on the cross.

The verse in the Bible itself says that this applies to saints, but I can totally see Dallas include this moment in such a way.

I can vividly imagine that in his newfound mission to expose Jesus, Kafni will come to stand face to face with his risen daughter unexpectedly, which causes him to believe at last.

The crew gets bigger and bigger! I’m drawing all the apostles/important figures in The Chosen! It’s still a work in progress but here we have the ones I already drew:

Jesus and Simon Peter! Because of course Jesus can’t have a single moment of peace with this man around him.

Ramah, Mary Magdalene and Matthew! They are studying the Torah together, be quiet! They have much to learn still!

Philip and Andrew, probably discussing John the Baptizer’s fate in the dungeons of Herodes’ castle. Or maybe speaking about some of Jesus’ teachings. Who knows? No one is away to find out.

There are more coming! And after this one, I’ll draw the pairs that were sent off by Jesus. Hope you guys like it!
