I open this blog after 4 years of not doing it aaand

I'm very surprised that y'all still kept sending me nice asks and gifts! I am super touched to read them now, since I just left without explanation and you were even here asking...

Well, let me talk about it from admin to the world:

I must admit was not in a good place mentally when I made this blog. I used tumblr a lot to cope with my bad thoughts and Ramón was a great source of inspiration for me. I was already very depressed since 2015, the worst era being 2018-2021 (illness and loss of my beloved father), but thank goodness, things started to get better after that point.

So I made a reset and I drifted away from many things I felt were stagnating me. Websites, people, old projects, anything that reminded me of my depressed-minded past. One of those sites was Tumblr, and you can imagine that just being here even doomscrolling did not help me. So I just left.

Aside from that, I struggled a lot with visibility on this website with my personal art, so I moved on to X and IG and I got surprisingly better there, so those are the sites I use the most for work and interaction.

Today I feel healed. I dedicate myself fully to work as freelance animator and artist, met my wonderful husband, married him last year, and so my life has taken up the best course!

AND FOR THE BIG QUESTION: DO I STILL LOVE SALAZAR?

YES OF COURSE WITH ALL MY HEART! I never ever forgot about Sally, he was always there for me in my hard times and therefore HE WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL. I just don't draw him as much as I used to! I have OCs to take care of and a webcomic teehehehe. But this is no space to talk about them!

Back to the point:

I cannot promise I will keep this blog as I used to. I do not have time or enough energy with all the things I do. Maybe I could try to do stuff with the asks so they don't get lost and give you some appreciation before I go back to my cave haha!

What I do know is that I will keep this blog up as a sanctuary for all those who love the original Salazar! n-n
