I came across this really nice picture today and wanted to share it with you all. The current moon phase is a Waning Crescent, which will last until Sept 6th, bringing the New Moon. 

This current phase is a good time to relax, tend to yourself, practice some self care, do some cleaning/cleansing, practice some meditation and be still. 

With the Waning Moon, bring some heavy, steady rainfall. Lucky for us, rainwater is good for many things! Collect some rainwater, all you need is a clean glass or a bowl places outside. 

Lighting storm rain (FIRE)–  will give extra power to spells while clearing & re-energizing. Rain collected during a lightning storm has the greatest amount of energy.  Remove strong negativity by soaking in this water

Wind storm rain (AIR) - must be stored in a glass bottle.  Use to empower spells for moving things forward. Such as letting go of the past, moving forward in your life, and getting out of a rut.

Tree and Flower Rain (Earth)– Rain collected from a tree, plant, and/or flower. Rain falls upon all of the earth, so in reality, everything holds the Earth Element when it rains.  

Anoint yourself and your chakra points

Make a facial cleanser

Use it in a bath

Boil and drink it

Use as an offering for spirit, ancestors or deities

Mix with essential oils (use as room spray)

Anoint your magical tools or crystals

Bless your sacred place

Rub around doors and windows for protection and blessing

Put in a dark bowl and use for scrying

Use for spells and kitchen witchery

Water indoor plants with it

Use in witch jars

Today was another "hottest day of the year". The dog days of 2018 do not end. I cleansed and blessed a dog skull from the flea market with the new batch of 'Dog Days' incense, finished end of July. Witchcraft journal

Today on a day where I didn't have work, I started off my morning with strawberry oatmeal and a pack of Emergen-c (raspberry) It's gonna rain today so I might try to enjoy it a little. Breathe in the energy of it and all that fun stuff. I feel good today, might try and start my B.O.S again (been trying for months now just very low on energy lately) I might do that later after I relax and watch a new TV show and then read later today.
