It is going to be all right. Everything is going to be all right.

Cassandra repeated it like a mantra.

They had been well prepared for the fight. The Inquisitor's trainer, Kihm, had given them what they needed to complete the task.

So they had been prepared. In theory.

The Pride Demon was expected, as were the wraiths that flanked.

The bear had been a surprise though.

As they stumbled up the path to where the Demon was located, all had been chaos as a bear had managed to get itself involved as well. Cassandra barely remembered much of the fight, everything seemed to have happened so fast.

She did remember being close to the edge of the bluff, the sheer cliff side at her back, and the damned bear charging her instead of the wraith had been attacking it. She also remembered something heavy hitting her side and knocking her off her feet.

Cassandra was dazed as she sprawled on the ground, trying to discern what had happened. She glanced over her shoulder just in time to see the bear careening off the edge of the cliff, unable to stop itself in time, and a flash of red that she belated realized was Varric.

There had been no time to reach out to try to grab him, only the split second where realization hit and then worry settled like a rock in the pit of her stomach.

She was thankful that the fight was over as the Inquisitor had managed to dispatch the final wraith causing problems. That let her leave and try to and her pick way down the cliff side; the Inquisitor and Dorian not far behind.

It is going to be all right. He is going to be all right.

Cassandra stumbled and slipped her way down, having found a gently worn path several yards back from the point of the bluff and the steepest part of the incline. She circled back around, uncertain and worried for what she would find.

Varric was a heap at the base of the incline. Although he was swearing up a storm so she figured that was a good sign.

"Varric!" she called once she grew close enough.

"I'm here! Oh shit," he swore as he tried to sit up, wincing.

"Is anything broken?" Cassandra sank down beside him, reaching out to check him over for wounds.

He had some superficial cuts and scraps, and probably more bruises than she could count, but over all he looked no worse for the wear.

"All in one piece. You haven't gotten rid of me yet, Seeker." He sat up slowly, favoring his side. He could have broken ribs. Or he could be bleeding internally.

"Seeker, I'm fine," Varric said, and she realized she had been speaking out loud.

"You may feel fine, Varric, but if you hit your head or lost consciousness for even a moment---"

"Cassandra," he said gently, but firm enough to gain her attention. "I'm fine."

She wasn't sure she had ever heard him say her name before. Or if he had, he certainly hadn't ever said it like that. So softly... so fondly. Cassandra looked up at his face then, met his gaze straight on.

He had been incredibly stupid, and beyond reckless... and for what? To save her? She could have easily been the one tumbling over the edge to break a limb or crack open her head.

Then again that could have easily happened to him as well.

"You stupid, dwarf!" She glared at him. "You could have died!"

Varric looked as if she had slapped him. "Well excuse me, next time I'll just let you die instead!"

"Good! I do not wish for you to die, least of all on my behalf!" She felt stricken at the idea of losing Varric; to death or even something less tragic and more mundane. She simply couldn't bear the idea of Varric not being there.

He opened his mouth to argue back or complain or something. Cassandra didn't give him the chance to speak, instead she grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him forward in order to press her lips to his.

The kiss was impulsive and stupid, she knew, but she couldn't regret it. Not when Varric was alive and whole. She didn't intend for the kiss to be anything more than a press of lips, but the moment Varric started to return her kiss all other thoughts went out of her mind.

When they broke apart for air, Cassandra leaned back enough to look him in the eye.

"If you ever die, I will kill you."

"Uh, noted." He laughed and shook his head, incredulous.

Cassandra wasn't entirely sure what else she should say, or if she should apologize? She opened her mouth to say something, but Varric didn't give her the chance.

"Just remember, though, that goes both ways." Then he slipped his hand behind her neck and tugged her down for another kiss.

Cherry's first kiss was an. Experience. It was before she got taken in my rainjet, and her and a friend/teammate/partner in crime where running away from well... the police after robbing a small jewelry store and in an effort to loose them, pulling the "Couple making out" trick after pulling into an alley off to the side of a very busy street. It worked of course, and the officers ran past them and the two of them never really talked about it after that. It meant nothing to the both of them, although it might of unlocked the beginning of her sense of thrill when it comes to more... intimate scenarios

Just all of the things, dumb, hilarious, or adorable. The moments, bits and little jokes that made the QSMP so engaging, fun and entertaining to watch. That made you feel like you were participating in one massive celebration. I miss it.

It would also be Chan’s villain origin story, because that would be the perfect opportunity to take revenge for all those years the teasing (you can practically hear him laughing maniacally in the distance).

Lucky Charm

Prompt: When no one knows that they’re secretly married, but after scoring in the Stanley Cup playoffs he sees her in the stands wearing his jersey and holding the kid no one knows he has…and he’s almost knocked on his ass because he can’t take his eyes off her, and the moment is featured on national TV.

The day had been a long one of keeping up with the rambunctious toddler. Of course she wouldn’t exchange it for the world. Between the two parents, she agreed to be the stay at home mom while he provided for them.

It was a last minute decision to be down there at the arena, let alone up against the glass. She wasn’t sure how her girlfriend managed to get the tickets, pretty sure she had them, but the other guests bailed on her. 

“Linds, I can’t come! I’ve got no one to watch Salem tonight.” 

“Sage, just bring her! I have enough tickets for all of us. She can sit between us. Besides I bet she would love to see her Daddy play!” Salem had just recently turned two-and-a-half, and had only seen her Daddy play on tv and during the open practices.

“Sails you wanna go watch Daddy play?” She giggled and clapped. 

“Daddy?” The toddler questioned her mama.

“Yeah, baby. Daddy is at work. Want to go see him?” She nodded, and clapped more. “Okay, fine Linds we will see you there! Text me the tickets!” 

“Yay! I promise you’ll have fun!” 

With the heavy amount of traffic, both automobiles and pedestrians, it took a little longer to get past security than originally planned. Which meant warm ups were just wrapping up when the pair met up with the friend. “Hi ya Salem!” Salem laughed and waved hi back to her Aunt Linds. “You just missed him, but he will be back out soon.” 

The two women chatted as Salem watched the lights and people all around her. He wasn’t a starting player for the game, so she observed him on the bench. He was so sucked into the game, not knowing she was there, so close. 

First intermission came in a flash. He had a few shifts during that first period, and she could see how as the game progressed he became more comfortable. Before anyone knew it, second period was under way. Now they would be scoring on the goal the three sat behind. Sage cradled Salem on her hip as she wasn’t tall enough to see over the boards the action of the game. 

Her wedding ring glittering off the arena’s obnoxiously bright lights, casting tiny rainbows across the floor, as she held onto her daughter. Her daughter’s wide cerulean blue eyes captivated by the speed of the men whizzing around the large frozen sheet.  “Daddy! Daddy!” The young girl cheered as she caught her first glimpse of him, her long dark curls bouncing as she squirmed around.

He was back across the ice, then back in front of her again. His next shift he lead the puck, finding the back of the net past the Avalanche’s Georgiev. As he comes around the back of the net in a celly, he sees both, and cannot take his eyes off of them. 

His teammates flock around him, and he almost gets his ass slammed down to the ice because he gets run into. His only savior being Yanni Gourde and Adam Larson catching him. Even then he cannot seem to break the little trace he’s in. “If you’re watching this round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, you may have just witnessed Vince Dunn almost get taken out by teammates because something outside the rink, in the crowd is distracting him,” an announcer calls. 

No doubt that would be the hockey meme of the night, and for the weeks to follow. The Kraken social team was quick to use the gif made from it to post about taking the lead.

Salem squeals again in excitement as she sees him smiling at her. She can hear the clicks of cameras sounding off around her as he smiles at them. Sage’s jersey proudly representing her last name of Dunn, and Salem’s with Daddy across the back and Vince’s number. He blows Salem a kiss and a sticking tongue out face, causing the previous reaction to repeat, before skating off. 

After winning the game, which gave the Kraken the lead in the series, the biggest question was asked during the interview, “what was that almost landing on your ass about?”

“Well, I-uh…I honestly didn’t expect to see my wife and our daughter standing there right behind the glass,” he smiled. “It definitely caught me off guard, in a good - I mean great way.” 

“So that was your daughter?” A report repeated. 

“Yes, my wife and daughter were here tonight. Now if you don’t mind, I would love to go see them, so please one final question.” He bounded off, in search of his favorite people. Adam had her outside the locker room, chatting and occasionally bouncing Sails up and down. 

“Daaadddyyy!” She screamed when she spotted him, taking off from everyone else. 

“Hey my little pumpkin!” He grabbed her kissing her cheek. “I see you came to Daddy’s work!” She nodded vigorously. 

“Come on you three, take a family picture!” Linds cheered, pushing Sage into her family. A few photos snapped of the little family.  “Glad you were able to not cause too much chaos tonight,” Sage teased Vince. “Even if you’re still leading in PIMs this season.” He jokingly goes to nip the tip of her nose in retaliation and Salem pushes his face. “Bad daddy. No bites!”

Pride Month just started, and I wanted to take this opportunity to say something I think is implicit but that everyone should be aware of:

You are a person and that's what matters.

There shouldn't be a discussion on whether or not it's okay for people to be happy, live, have rights or have those rights be respected. Every human being (and every being, for that matter) deserves respect. Unless they are harming someone (harming meaning abuse; not just existing), they can and should do whatever makes them happy. No one needs permision to exist.

The only people who can give their opinion about your relationship are you and your partner. The only person who decides what you can and can't wear is you. The only one who knows your gender is also you. How or who you have sex, kiss, marry, live with or love is nobody else's business.

The LGBTQIA+ community is for people who aren't allo-hetero-cis. That means that if you aren't all three, allo, hetero and cis, you belong here. This is a great time to show support, because the attention is on this topic. Take this chance to educate (yourself and others) about sexual and gender identities. Do your research, talk to people in the community. Always be respectful. Ask if it's okay to ask questions, always making sure what you're asking about is something you wouldn't be uncomfortable answering to yourself. Go for general questions ("what does it mean to be [insert identity here]?", "why is [insert topic/person/action here] problematic?", "what can I do to show support?") instead of personal ones, unless the other person says they're okay with it. Remember that everyone (LGBTQIA+ or not) dresses, has relationships, talks, looks, feels and lives differently: we're all just people. If it is not your business when talking to an allo-hetero-cis, then it's not your business when talking to LGBTQIA+ people either.

It is okay to not know. As long as you're willing to learn and educate yourself, to be respectful, and to acknowledge past mistakes, it's okay. I don't know everything, but if you have any questions, I can try to answer them. Send me an ask and I'll do my best.

To any LGBTQIA+ person reading this, I know this month can be complicated. Keep in mind you don't owe anyhting to anyone. The most important thing is for you to be safe. Random Regina headcanons because I have time to kill

Regina didn’t just keep the rainbow pin. She’s kept all of her mementos from her friendship with Janis, including assorted drawings and handmade jewelry and silly things like goofy bobbleheads from vacations Janis took with her family. They’re mostly in a bin hidden in her closet with specifically ordered items stacked on top of it so she’ll know if someone (her mom) went through it.

After the bus, Regina had to start dressing more for comfort. She’d previously rather have died than wear athletic shoes to do anything other than work out but as a coping mechanism she online shops for sneakers and soon her sneaker game becomes legendary. There’s an anonymously run Instagram account documenting her sneaker collection.

Hates animals, especially your ugly dog. WILL yell at you if you let your dog jump on her. (“He’s friendly? Well I’m not.”) After months of relentless asking she finally goes with Cady to the zoo. Regina complains the whole time but secretly she finds Cady’s excitement endearing. She takes one (1) photo with Cady in front of the lions and she looks so over it that it becomes a group chat meme.

When she turns 18, Regina gets a small tattoo of a butterfly over one of her surgery scars that Janis designs. If anyone asks Regina will say she just thinks it’s pretty but to her it symbolizes her metamorphosis/personal transformation after the bus.

Regina needs glasses but she absolutely will not wear them in front of another human being, even if it means she’s squinting at the board in class, because she thinks she looks bad in them. Cady starts wearing her glasses to school to show Regina she’s being ridiculous, but it has the unfortunate (for Regina) effect of making Cady hotter, somehow.

She gets into long-distance running for not entirely healthy reasons and starts doing 5Ks and half marathons, but it actually ends up encouraging her to eat more as she’s training and it becomes a weirdly healing experience. Everyone makes signs to cheer Regina on which she gets emotional about—except for Damian’s relentless Forrest Gump jokes, which she finds SO annoying.

Regina loves reading, and she reads even more while she’s in the hospital/recovering. She loves classic literature especially and Shakespeare, which she bonds with Damian over, and Janis nonchalantly gives her a queer YA novel that Regina pretends she doesn’t want but reads in one night. She secretly buys a bunch more. (I Kissed Shara Wheeler hits a little too close to home.)

As Regina heals her relationship with her body and starts letting go of some of her fears of judgment she starts experimenting more with her appearance, wearing jeans for the first time in years (big for her!), not wearing makeup every day, even cutting her hair a bit shorter and dyeing some of it pink (Janis helps).

It felt like ages since they had been alone together. There had been the trek back after the ordeal with Karim, but there had hardly been time to relax into their reunion.

Not with all that had happened and not with all the unanswered questions swirling around them.

Returning to camp had been another ordeal in itself.

Amaya felt completely worn out, she ached from head to toe, even her eyelids ached from staying open for so long. She had nearly fallen asleep in her bath once or twice, not that she would share that information with anyone. She hadn't drowned, it was fine.

However, all of her exhaustion seemed to melt away when she stepped into their tent and saw Janai; safe and whole and unharmed.

She crossed to Janai--intending to kiss her until she was breathless--only to be stopped with a hand on her chest.

"Let me look at you," Janai said. She proceeded to circle around Amaya. "I had an interesting talk with Corvus, it seems you left out some details on our walk back."

Amaya raised her hand, tapping her thumb to her chest. I'm fine.

"I'm allowed to fuss, you know." Janai stopped in front of Amaya and gently took her face between both hands. "If anything happened to you I don't-"

Amaya reached up to cover Janai's hands with her own, nodding slowly. She knew, how could she not? She felt the same.

Janai tipped her head forward, resting her forehead against Amaya's. They stood like that for a while, happily taking comfort from each other. They were both well, and they were together.

Eventually Amaya dropped one hand from Janai's, and snaked it around the back of her neck, cupping the back of Janai's head in order to pull her in and close the scant few inches left between them.

She tasted like the spicy tea she preferred before bed; bold and sharp and heady. Amaya tilted her head, slanting her mouth over Janai's to deepen the kiss.

Janai sighed into the kiss and circled one arm around Amaya's shoulders, while her free hand went to her hair, nails scraping against her scalp.

There were endless things to worry about. Endless problems to solve. There would be more dangerous situations, and injuries, and plenty of time to worry over the other's safety.

For the moment, though, they were together and safe and that was all that mattered.

Summary: SMG3 just wanted to make himself a nice cup of coffee before the work day began, but when he takes a sip from his freshly brewed coffee and passes out he will wake up to a huge surprise. Three other versions of himself now run wild in the mushroom kingdom and he has to stop them before the world learns all his secrets.

Book sighs walking up to Three “You done? We need to put our heads together and figure out how we can fuse.” Heart bites a cookie humming while Spade waits till Heart isn't looking to steal multiple cookies. Noticing what Spade is doing, Heart giggles acting like he isn't looking “I know this isn't all sunshine and rainbows but we are here together! Let's head home, get some coffee and think!” Three sighs walking ahead of them not wanting to look at Heart, Book frowns noticing the shift in Three’s behavior as they walk back to the cafe. 

Heart takes out a new keyboard from the bag humming “You think blue would like this?” Spade rolled his eyes. “Four is always on his computer. I swear that dumbass must be glued to it…so yeah he will.” While Heart and Spade talked, Book walked over to SMG3 “Feeling overwhelmed, or are you not a fan of having your heart open to the world?”  Three bites his lip staring at Heart then he walks over to the table with his leftover coffee and tosses it in the fridge “That can't be a part of me, i mean SMG4 is such a loser me falling for him ha funniest joke!” 

Book frowns “I think you should think harder about your feelings on this Original,” Heart turns hearing what Three said and frowns. Spade sighs, smacking Heart at the back of his head “If you're that worried then go show him why you're important, not that I care or anything about what happens. Just go, the idiot should be home.” Heart gives spade a soft smile before sneaking out of the cafe. Nervously he thinks of an excuse as a reason for the odd appearance as he enters the castle, there he sees SMG4 patting Beegs head with a huge smile. Heart could feel himself glow looking at the man, blushing as he approaches. “Um hey SMG4…” he takes a deep breath getting ready, Four turns around looking at him confused “What's with the pink?” Heart facepalms and groans doing his best to pull out a different trait, he crosses his arms “I made a bet and welp i got the shit end of that stick, look can we just not talk about my looks.” Four frowns before nodding feeling bad for his partner. He hums thinking of a way to cheer up the man, thinking up the perfect place he grabs Hearts hand causing the personality eyes to glow for a moment. 

“I need to do some meme research, want to join me?” he winked at Heart causing the personality to blush, then he intertwined his fingers with Four surprising him. Heart lets out a smirk that stuns the other guardian “Why of course! I may not know about living memes but an afternoon with you doesn't sound so bad!” SMG3 was feeling done with the conversations about Heart, there was no way someone like that is a part of him. His chest started to feel warm, his mind was then swarmed with thoughts of SMG4. His smile, the smug look he gives when he knows he has you beat. Three was confused as to the sudden urge to run to four and pull him in for a kiss, his face goes bright red as he turns and finally notices Heart is now missing from the cafe. He pushes Book aside looking at the empty chair next to Spade “where is he?”

Spade smirks as he paints his nails “Where is who? Oh you mean pinky, heard he got himself a hot date!” Three felt a chill go down his spine, he grabs the straps of spades overalls “WHAT DO YOU MEAN!” Book runs up to the pair pulling SMG3 away from spade, once free the personality checks his nails to make sure the paint wasn't ruined. Book sighs comforting the upset Three “Original we need to grab Heart, people will notice your strange look and that can lead to some trouble!”  SMG3 glares at Spade and nods “Yeah, we need to make sure people don't think he is me or at least belong to me bleh.” Book lets out another sigh unsure how he can convince the man that Heart is a part of him, Spade nods after checking if his nails were dry to slip back his gloves “Who cares? I mean know how many fucking people saw me?” Book smacks Spade “Behave! Are you aware of what would happen if we stay out here too long away from our body?” the other personality rolls his eyes as he opens the cafe door. SMG3 walks out the door, he was panicking he wasn't sure what that pink version of him is up to.  He did have to admit that there have been moments things were a little on the gay side between both him and four but they both agree it meant nothing. His face goes red again at the memories as Book chuckles “What's wrong original, feeling emotional about something?” 

SMG3 turns and glares at Book, the man shrugs seeing the glare “Look, Heart is a part of your emotions you can't keep denying it i mean look at you. I bet the igloo showed up again in your mind like it usually doe-” before he can finish he gets tackled by both Spade and SMG3 as they both yell “WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT!!” SMG4 was driving his forklift on the hunt for any freshly born memes while Heart was beside him humming a song. Four let out a soft smile hearing the hum, even though the man seemed upset earlier it made him happy to see and know that this ride was cheering him up “Feeling better?”  

Surprised by the question, Heart panic thinking “Uh yeah guess so! I mean how can I not when you're by my side blue!” He covers his mouth, eyes wide. SMG4 hits the brakes and stares at Heart “Blue..? I uh didn't take you as a nickname guy, it's uh heh nice i don't mind it.”  he blushes unsure how to take the sudden nickname. Heart hearing the reaction gave the man a huge smile making SMG4 mind go blank “Oh i'm so happy you like it!”  While SMG4 missed the usual look of SMG3 the side he is showing today was a rare sight, he wanted to memorize that smile. Noticing his train of thoughts he panicked, the sudden movement made him slip off the forklift. He screams as he hits the floor making Heart jump off to check on him “ARE YOU OKAY FOUR?!” As heart ran over to SMG4 his hat fell off, Four stared wide eyed at Heart and the light was hitting him just right to make it look like he was glowing. Teal green eyes looking into his blue ones as the wind blows his hair, he never noticed how fluffy SMG3 hair was even in a ponytail. He stretched his hand out to him, a sight that felt familiar “Get up scrub we have memes to hunt!” 

Four takes Heart hand, he pulls him up quickly causing Four to get a little too close as their noses are now touching. Heart let out a shy giggle as SMG4 was lost in his eyes, he knew these feelings well it wasn't the first time he felt this way around Three. This time though they felt stronger, flustered he stepped back “uh thanks..” SMG3 was looking around everywhere he thought would be romantic, that's when he felt his face heat up. His heart was racing and thoughts of SMG4 was swarming him “STOP! I HATE HIM AND WILL NEVER LOVE HIM LIKE THAT!” Book and Spade freeze from the outburst, the pair exchange a concerned look. That's when Book notices a stain showing up on Three chest, he leans in seeing the stain was purple and was coming out where SMG3's heart was. “...You need to accept the truth. How long will you push Heart away! Look at yourself by pushing your heart away, you're getting corrupted!” 

Confused he looks down seeing the purple stain, he touches it and flinches from a burning pain. This meant nothing he told himself as he kept walking trying to find his last personality, Book glares at Three making Spade cross his arms “Book, if the corruption has started that means Heart is going to vanish right? And if that happens we are fucked to yeah?” Book nods looking down sadly “If we lose heart we won't be able to feel anything…we will be an empty husk..” Spade takes off his hat then takes out a photo of Eggdog and smiles brightly at it, he then looks up at three and casually shows the photo “Hey what do you think about this?” Three looks at the photo of Eggdog and softens then continues walking “It’s cute but we need to find Heart!” Spade looks at the photo stunned. Book frowns as he puts his arm around Spade “This is bad, we normally would scream of excitement how deep in the pit is original..” 

Spade sighs putting the photo back into his hat “Get your fucking hand off of me,” Book lets out a nervous chuckle as he steps away from the man. Spade watches as the purple stain grows, he growls showing his sharp teeth as he stomps forward passing Three as he hunts down Heart. Heart was having a fun time watching Four take pictures of memes and writing down notes on them. Heart opens his mouth then freezes as he feels sharp pain go through his body. He looks down and sees the color on his overalls start to fade, his hands start to shake “Heh…still rejecting me…why…what did i do wrong?” Heart eyes start to water realizing he was being erased. SMG4 stands up excited to show a meme he found when he noticed Heart was shaking “Three are you okay?” Heart jumps hearing Four and starts to run away ignoring the man calling out to him. If he were to die he wouldn't do it in front of SMG4, the world starts getting blurry as he falls to the floor.

He could hear the panic in Fours voice nearby giving Heart more strength to get up and run “I…can't stop,” he then locked eyes with Spade running towards him. If heart didnt feel like he was going to pass out he would tease the tsundere personality for looking so worried. Spade dashes and catches Heart “HEART! GUYS I FOUND HIM!” Heart coughs and breaks down crying as he sees more of his color fade “Spade…i don't feel so good..” Spade nods patting Hearts head “Don't worry pinky, if i have to i will beat our original ass just know i'm not doing this for you alright? I'm just doing it because I would hate to lose my love of bombs.” Spade blushes as he picks up Heart and runs to the others, SMG3 eyes go wide seeing the energetic personality so weak and pale. The teal green eyes have gone gray, the rest of his clothing was slowly following. He reaches out to only feel sharp pain in this chest “AH FUCK WHAT IS THIS PAIN?!” he drops to his knees shaking as he looks at his hand covered in a strange purple liquid. Book slowly walks up to Heart and holds his hand “The pain is your heart dying…every time you reject him the more you reject having emotions. Heart is dying because you can't admit no because you're too much of a coward to admit the truth.” 

Book glares at Three “I SMG3 Logic admit the truth that i am in love with SMG4,” Three shakes his head causing more pain, Heart eyes flicker red for a moment as Spade sighs his face turning red “I guess…yeah i could be in love with that idiot so what?!” SMG3 shakes his head making Spade angry  “LISTEN FUCK FACE! WHAT'S SO WRONG HAVING FEELINGS! I LOVE BOMBS AND VOILENCE WOW HOW FUCKING HARD WAS THAT TO SAY!” Heart taps Spade letting him know to put him down. Heart eyes glow red as he gets closer to Three then smacks him “WHY CAN'T YOU ACCEPT ME! WHAT DID I DO WRONG!” SMG3 starts to cry as he suddenly hugs Heart. Spade and Book take a step back surprised, heart softens as he wraps his arms around Three. As SMG3 kept crying slowly the color was returning to Heart “I…what if he stops being friends with me…i cant..i can't lose someone again.” 

Heart lets out a giggle “ Love is scary but remember what happens when you don't let me do my thing? We lost Terrance..and he never got to know we loved him like a son..please stop rejecting me.” he looks up his eyes looking into Hearts. He felt the pain slowly leave his chest as he wipes his tears, Heart gives him a soft smile starting to feel himself again “Honestly why are we so stubborn with our emotions hehe.” SMG3 lets out a soft smile “I love SMG4…i really do and im scared about it,” Spade rolls his eyes “Nothing to be scared of, not like that bitch can do anything if he does I BLOW HIM UP HAHA!” Three sighs watching Spade letting out an evil laugh.  Book lets out a huge smile “I’m so glad we got over that, cause now we have a new problem. Wasn't heart hanging out with SMG4?”

“SMG3 WHERE DID YOU GO!?” Four was running around in a panic wondering where SMG3 was. Three and Heart stand up in a panic “Shit!”

Well this I didn’t know who to write this for & then a friend online said they really liked Marcus Moreno & I was like ahhh this is gonna be a good idea for him with this prompt so here we go. Let’s have some fun with our super hero.

Also we are all allies, & all people. To the girls, guys, they, them & I’s, I love you no matter who you love or who you are. Never be ashamed to be you.

Synopsis:- Marcus is not happy with his new super hero outfit.

Word count:- 700

Warnings over & above:- swearing, that’s about it really, a bit of teasing.

“The fuck” he says as he hold up his new super hero outfit. “What are you making me wear?”you giggle.

“It’s not just you Marcus” you try to not laugh as he actually takes his glasses on & off again to check he’s not seeing things & that it is that bold & colourful. “Everyone in the team has something similar, it’s pride month after all”

“I get that but these…” he shakes his head, he’s trying to remain angry but he’s also trying not to laugh “it’s a bit over the top”

“Please Marcus just try them on & you should be lucky you’re not Lava Girl, she’s already complaining about too much glitter” he rolls his eyes & grabs the rest of the bag & pulls the curtain in front of him in the locker room to change into his new super hero costume, that the team had been working on for the last 8 months for everyone. The message needs fo be very on brand, after last year a couple of the older heroic had comments that were not very inclusive & had old fashioned values. Something you have been trying to remind them about. One of these heroics has since retired.

5 minutes later out he step & you laugh, bending over as you can’t even Keep it calm or quiet. He puts his hands on his hips & pouts. He smirking, he can’t hide it.

“I don’t see what’s so funny, it’s atrocious” there he stands swaying about & bending to his knees in his new rainbow styled super hero suit. The rainbow trousers were boot leg cut & he just keeps looking down at them & shaking his head. The more he gets pissed at them the more you love them. “Stop laughing” he says trying not to join you, your laugh he always finds contagious.

“Sorry Marcus, but it’s so funny that mr serious who’s almost always in dark blue or black is now in the colours of the rainbow. It does look cute.”

“I’m not meant to be cute or a certain brand depending on it being National coffee day or international cat day, I’m the leader of the heroics, what will aliens think if they drop in & have to fight me?”

“They will go oooh he’s an ally” you try to stop laughing, your face hurts from doing to much of it.

“You & costume know full well if I go out in this to fight crime & save the world that I’ll become a meme”

“& is that so bad”

“I have a teenage daughter…”

“She knows.”

“What” Marcus has no idea that Missy has been in on all of this & wanted her dad to be as vibrant as possible. He then finally does look in the mirror looking at the whole thing.

“I mean I guess it’s comfortable, they’ve made some worse outfits, but why is it so… colourful?”

“Cos you’re meant to be proud & out there” you stand behind him & run your hands across the back of his shoulders. “ & you are out there Marcus” you whisper & he turns to face you, looking straight into your green eyes. “You keep the world safe, & Missy & me are proud of you for doing that” you slowly stand on your tip toes & gently kiss his lips & slowly run your hands through his hair as he squeezes your bum.

“Hmmm if you weren’t head of marketing & such a good kisser I’d be very disappointed in you for making me put this on”

“Would it help” you say as you undo his belt. “If I said you don’t have to wear this if you really don’t want to but that I also have a rainbow tie, cufflinks & glasses for the next month?” You smile at him & see his frown soften. He then cups your face.

“I’d much prefer than sexy”

“Good,” you sigh before he caresses your cheek before kissing you again. A deep & sensual kiss. “Now let’s get you out of this stupid outfit”

“Only if you help me out of it”

we are who we are!

As the month rolls over, the final night of the Ethereal Moon passes. The morning that follows is one of color and chaos. The hallways have been strung up with streamers, in patterns of rainbow and pink, blue, and white. There is a sense of community in the air, a current cutting through the student body and administrative staff alike. While the decorations may be gaudy, and perhaps the patterns unfamiliar, this is a month of celebration.

Caeda mingles among the crowd, bright extroversion encouraging people to join in on the celebration. Forsyth and Lloyd's dedication behind the scenes helps students assemble stands and banners decorate windows. Shez, for their part, plasters paint upon their face, content to engage on their own terms. Ewan's small form flits amidst the crowd, distributing sparklers in every color of the rainbow. What will you do?

Prompts

[ Confetti ] - everything in Garreg Mach seems to be covered in a layer of sparkles and confetti. Grab a handful if you like! And if you don’t mind glittering for the next week.

[ Chalk ] - across the cobblestone, people of all walks of life are drawing in brightly colored chalk. Some are simply signing their names, while others are writing sweet messages, and still more are simply drawing little pictures. What will you add to the canvas?

[ Face paint ] - palettes of paint in every color of the rainbow sit squarely upon a little stand, inviting those who pass by to “wear their colors”. Hanging at the side of the stand are some suggested color combinations and their meaning. Students are encouraged to paint each others’ faces in a display of trust. 

[ Cut & Style ] - a group of Garreg Mach’s students have decided to try their hands at hairstyling, knowing that a proper haircut can do wonders for one’s view of themselves and their expression. However, whether or not they’re good at giving haircuts is another question entirely. 

[ Tie-dye! ] - small, easily-ruptured balls filled with dye have been left in buckets scattered across the Monastery. The intent? Students have been distributed white shirts upon request, and with the donning of said shirt, invite others to shower them in color. There’s nothing stopping you from pranking an unsuspecting fellow without a white shirt on, though..

[ Lovetape - redux! ] - inspired by the celebratory event from BOEL, a gaggle of Golden Deer have decided to take their own spin on the stick-on-compliment game. Brightly colored paper with adhesive backs beckon passerby, as well as a stack of pens. The game is simple - scrawl down a compliment, and stick it onto someone else. Just remember - if you’re fast enough, you might not even get caught! 

[ Mocktail Melody ] - another station, this one in the dining hall, boasts various drinks of different uncannily vibrant colors. Some are bubbly, some are sicky-sweet, and still others are oddly bitter. None are alcoholic. What sort of mixture will you make?

[ Kissing Booth ] - less well-built than the other stands is one that proclaims itself as a kissing booth. Curiously, no one sits behind the counter - will you sit there and await company, or approach someone sitting there?

I know that there are some implications that come with the idea of canonizing pride in the world of Fire Emblem, as well as the fact that pride flags as we know them are unlikely to exist, but ultimately my goal of organizing something like this is to reach my fellow LGBT muns, especially those who cannot celebrate their identities in real life. Pride is both a celebration and a memory, an honoring of survival and a remembrance of those who came before us, and I hope everyone can get a little bit of fun from this.

hell even micah goes just because he likes being able to beat up people and anti-lgbtqias at pride are easy targets

not being out doesn't stop bill from looking around like a blushing red schoolgirl because there's beautiful men being happy and proud and kissing other men everywhere and his heart is racing so fast he actually thinks he might have a heart attack because men?? kissing?? wishing it was him not that he's 100% ready to admit that????

he gets so many younger guys hitting on him because everyone wants that bear and he genuinely just falls mute does not know how to handle it because the atmosphere is so happy and positive he actually feels safe. bill williamson, closeted gay man from 19th century, feeling safe. there isn't that instinct to aggressively deny it/retaliate in distorted self-defense.

but he has absolutely zero idea how to handle going from coded conversation and looks across campfires to people touching his arm asking 'top or bottom' 'i have a room not far from here' or even awful 'are you a bear? because i wanna hibernate with you this winter ;))' pick up lines

he isn't sure how it happens but he somehow leaves with a tiny a5 rainbow flag and a whole bunch of stickers he has to look up the meaning for. despite brushing it off as 'bah too loud all. i can taste is glitter, plastic and stupid fruity craft beers' he does sit awake that night just holding his little pride flag. he keeps it in his bedside table

when he's living alone on the ranch, sometimes he takes his little pride flag out just to hold it and appreciate it still smells like $4 body mist and deodorant and has that feeling of cheap flag material. has it in his pocket next time he goes to pride, 12 months later and confident enough to actually talk to people and try to make even just gay friends
