Moving in together was Leon’s idea. It was fun for the both of you as well as your Pokémon. Leon never felt so happy with you around as you were him. I agree that creative ship names are more appealing (marriage chopsticks is such a cute idea!!) and takes away the rather negative top/bottom <- dick/hole <- masculine/feminine thing you mentioned and I agree with you.

Like sure, in a scenario where the fic is just smut, a often one and done deal, I save more bottom Zhongli fics, but that's only cause he's my favorite--I'm like this with all my favorites. I wish I knew why as it isn't a inserting myself reason (being a touch avoident aroace) and it has nothing to do with the "traits = position"/bleed-over from toxic straight beliefs. To be honest I dont really associate traits strictly to masculine or feminine anyways, since it changes in many ways between individuals, and realistically people have a blend of traits society as a whole would divide between masculine or feminine.

Regardless of what I save more of, I still read all sorts of fics, cause I like the ship and the characters alot (like dude its been 2 years help). I mostly read fics not part of the smut category anyways, even if I re-read them more often by virtue of them often being in the like 800-2k word range and thus easier to keep safe in a doc.

Back to the ship names though. Tbh, however, I do like the convince of name x name if only cause it makes searching up the ships easier (esp in foreign art forums), either cause someone might not know the ship name or cause something like "chili" or even "marriage chopsticks" sorta gives you a different flood of results mixed in. Ex: the chili tag will give some Zhongli and Childe art or fics or whatever, but it will also give you a bunch of results of the food chili.

Iirc this issue is similar to why the transformers fandom uses the #maccadam tag on top of their posts cause just the characters names or universe stuff might pull up unrelated transformers stuff

yes that's true, that's one of the (few) problems with proper ship names sadly. i do think this could be remedied somewhat if, like i mentioned, the fandom would agree to always list ship names in aphabetical order? kinda like how it's done in ao3 for tagging purposes. so childe/zhongli would have no connotations for top/bottom but rather would be like that just because c (and also t in this case) goes before z

and yeah of course if the fic/art/whatever contains sex, then you can start being specific with the tags. in ao3 this is easy bc the main tag is already standard, so even if your fic is top zhongli, the ship tag is still childe/zhongli. but outside of ao3 is where this would of course get complicated. still, with some organization...

whenever i think about this i always end up pondering the one other instance of proper ship names that always stand out to me in a fandom? idk if any of you guys have ever been deep in the pokemon fandom, but the ship names there are- Unique. to say the least. of course i assume it's possible not everyone uses them, but like- you'd be shocked. idk why that fandom in specific does things that way and i have yet to find another one where they pull the exact same bs with so much coordination, but i have to applaud them. they do circumvent a good chunk of problems that you mentioned like the ship name being some other term that skews the results (for those unaware, in the pokemon fandom, at least back when i was still active, all ship names ended in 'shipping'. so like- ruby/sapphire is 'franticshipping', raihan/leon is 'truerivalshipping', etc. this extends to the pokespe and show ships as well (frantic is pokespe-only territory i think), and very few escaped this trend afaik. like the only one i can think of that doesn't end in shipping is bwagency? intriguing stuff. here's the shipping wiki's list, though i think this doesn't include pokespe ships but still. it's hilarious to go through)

Your whole childhood basically revolved around Pokemon. Now, don't misunderstand, you like pokemon well enough! There are tons of cute little kinds, and they're fun! You've got one that you keep around because it's sweet and easy enough to care for.

But between a celebrity champion older brother and a massive pokemon-fan-turned-pokemon-grad-student younger brother, you kind of dealt with enough of the whole "Pokemon Trainer" life. You watched Leon march off (initially in the wrong direction) to become a trainer, then heard all about the hardships of basically camping in the wilderness while he trained for some matches, and Hop ate it up ravenously. But you? You don't really care for The Great Outdoors and all of its associated dangers. Like, people talk about the wild area and how cool it is to be out and about there, but??? People have died there. Yeah, it's dirty, and the weather can change at the drop of a coin, but also??? For real, there are dangerous pokemon out there who can very easily kill someone.

So yeah, like the middle child you very much are, you deviated from your brothers and their obsession with Pokemon training. You're happy living in a proper city in a proper flat with a proper job, not exposing yourself to the elements.

Still, you do care about your boys, so you help them out in your own small way. See, you went to school to become a meteorologist, and you work as the weather reporter on a small, local channel in Hammerlocke. You're able to live a comfortable life in a nice city, not particularly well known as a local celebrity or anything, and you can let your brothers know if there are any bizarre weather phenomena on the horizon while they're out being stupid in the wild area.

It's also kind of nice that you're not super recognizable. Folks don't recognize you in public as a sibling to the champion. You basically go unnoticed, like the middle child that you are. It's not like Lee hides you away or something, but you don't bother going to the majority of his big public events, unlike Hop, who will happily follow your eldest sibling to the ends of the earth, so you've never been "debuted" to the world the way that Hop was when he did that whole Gym Challenge thing.

Still, Lee always invites you anyway. It just so happens that this latest event of his is in Hammerlocke, so you figure you might as well attend. Hop had to study for exams, and you're not busy with anything else. Truth be told, it might do you some good to socialize a bit more. You'd been spending an awful lot of time cooped up in your flat lately.

This brings you to your current situation, chilling at the buffet of some Rose Sponsored Event in Hammerlocke Stadium's lavish upper floors. Floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows overlook the greenery of the pitch below, so you figure this must be some kind of box space for major movers and shakers within the pokemon league for when they do their matches below. You'd never bothered visiting the stadium before today, despite living in Hammerlocke for a few years, so it's kind of neat to see. You can cross it off your bucket list or whatever.

Lee is off chatting it up with whatever bigwigs are trying to get him to wear their logo, so you haven't had the chance to grab his ear and say hello just yet. Instead you're eyeing some curry puffs and mini quiches, trying to decide how much would be polite to load up on your plate, when you hear someone's voice.

"Aaaaand that's our GBC 12 Hammerlocke News today. Up next, the weather." The phrase makes your ears perk. It's the one the news anchor speaks every day just before your segment on air. Internally, you cringe. Someone must've recognized you. You plaster on your Broadcast Smile and look to the source.

"Haha," The laugh is as stiff and uncomfortable as you feel. "Sounds like I've been spotted..."

The man who drew your attention is surprisingly tall, giving you a grin with teeth so sharp that on anyone else they'd seem almost predatory, but with his relaxed posture and overall chill demeanor, you're not getting any vibes of ill intent. Maybe (probably) cockiness? But nothing bad. The discomfort you'd felt at being recognized melts away like ice in a heat wave, replaced with a warm thrum of nervous excitement. He's very handsome, and you certainly don't mind attention from someone like him. In his hand is a rotom phone. He gestures with it as he speaks.

"Well, yeah. Gotta keep up with current events; especially gotta keep up with the weather. Can't control what you don't know, am I right?"

No, that didn't entirely make sense to you, but you smile politely and nod anyway. He's definitely easy on the eyes, and getting easier the longer you look.

"So they're inviting the press to these events now, I'm guessing?" The man goes on. "Kinda surprised they'd ask the weather girl to come schmooze it up and get photos and whatnot." He gives a bark of a laugh, and his stark white teeth gleam. "Then again, I suppose it does make for a thematically pretty picture–the weather girl with the weather specialist."

Weather specialist? You think to yourself. Is that some kinda pokemon thing? Whatever.

"Actually, I'm not--"

"Here, get in, and we'll snap some shots, and I can text'em--"

The pair of you speak at once, so you stop and try again.

"Oh, so you want my--"

"Wait, you're not--"

You both laugh this time. He gestures for you to go ahead and speak first, uninterrupted. You can't help but smile, teasingly calling him out.

"I was gonna say. So you just want to get my number, so you can send over those pictures? No other reason?"

"Ahh, ya caught me." Another laugh. Gosh, his eyes are a captivating blue... "Maybe I want your number..." He doesn't sound ashamed at all. "Not every day you get to meet the cute weather girl you see on TV, right?"

"Well it's not every day a cute weather girl meets someone as impressive as you." You eye him up and down very obviously. You're not typically this brazen a flirt, but it's kinda nice to chat someone up like this once in a while.

The man picks up on your traveling gaze, and his smile widens. "Listen, they're not gonna be making any crazy toasts or announcements or anything for a minute... Wanna maybe go somewhere private til then?"

It's a very tempting offer. Your eyes scan the room til they find Lee. He's still engrossed in conversation with some older guy with a pudgy belly and facial hair even patchier than Lee's own sad attempts at a beard (you only tease him about that a little bit). It definitely seems like they'll be there a while, so why not?

"Do you know a place?"

"Heh. Cute. C'mon, I'll lead the way." You feel the warmth of his hand trail down to the small of your back as he guides you from the room. He takes you through a few winding corridors before stopping at a massive mahogany door. It's unlocked, so the pair of you slip inside. The only light you can see is from some kind of underlit dragon themed bauble on what looks like a desk. Maybe this is an office? You can't make out many details, but you also don't have much of a chance before the man pins you to the door, resting his forearm over your head.

He towers over you, even in your heels, in the most attractive way, and you're left with no choice but to tilt your head up to meet his gaze in the dim purple lighting of the room.

From there it's easy enough for him to press his lips to yours. Seems like neither of you felt the need to chit chat further. He's warm, and the clean scent of his cologne fills your senses. Kissing him comes naturally, intoxicatingly. You hum against his lips, and he pulls away just enough to start trailing kisses down your jaw. His free hand takes a hold of your jaw, tilting it to expose your neck and collarbone to him, which he happily bites with those sharp teeth of his. Nothing too hard so as to hurt, just enough to entice and make you squirm.

You thread your own hands around the back of his neck, pressing him just a bit closer to you. "Very nice..." You hum. "But come back here." You pull his face back to your mouth, so you can kiss him again. It'd be an issue if he left any hickies, purposeful or otherwise.

"Yes, ma'am," He laughs softly against your mouth. The hand he'd used to tilt your jaw shifts, just so, to cup it instead, but you gently take it, threading your fingers over his. You hold him there for a moment, savoring your kisses. It's easy between you, finding a rhythm to enjoy, so it doesn't take much more from him for you to squeeze his fingers just a bit and guide his hand down to your chest. He fondles you eagerly, honest to goodness groaning at that first squeeze. Or maybe he's groaning at the sound you made in reaction. You can feel him smile against your lips, biting them softly.

"Ohh, atta girl, give me more of that, yeah?" He whispers between kisses. His hand works its way under your top and into your bra.

You moan as he pinches your nipple between two warm, calloused fingers. You want to ask for more, maybe wriggle your way out of your top, see if he might match you in undressing, but the man's rotom phone loudly dings several times in quick succession. The groan from its owner is of an entirely different sort as he silences the device and checks his notifications. "Agh, damn. I'm sorry, but we'll have to cut this short. Looks like someone's wondering where I am up there, and I can't leave him waiting."

Very frustrating, but you get it. It's probably for the best, too. Lee's bound to find you missing eventually.

"Gotcha..." You sound more breathless than you thought you would.

The man gives your breast a teasing squeeze and a peck on the mouth before he fully pulls away from you and opens the door to the corridor behind you.

"Don't worry. We can pick back up where we stopped later, if you're up for it." He winks.

"Well, it'd be a shame to keep a girl like me waiting for very long, right?" You reply, slipping your hand into his as you make your way back to the event space together. Along the way, you double check that you haven't mussed your hair or makeup noticeably.

Your grip loosens and you pull away from one another by the time he opens the door for you. He gives a teasing bow, gesturing for you to enter before him, so you oblige. Inside, the same pudgy man who had been chatting Lee's ear off seems to be coming to the end of some kind of toast. The pair of you quickly snatch some champagne flutes to join in the "Cheers!" when he finishes.

The hum of the crowd then picks back up as conversations start anew, and your new friend departs quickly to wherever he was needed, so you head back to that buffet line, suddenly remembering those curry puffs that you didn't get to try. Lee can find you whenever, you figure.

True to form, a few minutes pass, and you hear your name being called the same way you've heard since you were a kid. Lee is politely pushing his way through groups of people to you. You offer him a mini quiche (you've eaten an embarrassing number of them already), which he takes without a second thought.

"Mm, thanks. You must've been bored to tears here." Lee says as he eats. "Sorry I haven't been able to show you 'round yet. Here, we can make the rounds together. I'll introduce you to my colleagues."

As it turns out, your big brother knows every person in the room by name. He couldn't find his way out of a paperbag, but he can learn faces and names apparently. They all blend into a massive blur for you, all the different gym leaders, their top gym trainers, and some guy wearing a pokeball costume, of all things.

"Aaah, there he is!" Lee eventually says, guiding you away from the beautiful ice gym leader and her adult son, another top trainer of the region. You've already forgotten their names. Emily? Jordy?

Lee puts on an air as he continues. "Dearest little sister, please allow me the pleasure of introducing you to the gym leader of Hammerlocke. I'm sure you've seen him on the telly or some such."

Raihan nods, and Lee laughs it off. "Ah, you know... She's got herself all hidden away in her flat. Not much into the whole league thing, so I must've...uh..." He looks down at you. "Forgotten? But only in the kindest way!" He attempts to placate you.

"I've been hidden in a flat in this town." You remind him, face flushed from embarrassment. Of course the hottest guy here (who has also already felt you up and had his tongue down your throat) is your big brother's best friend. "You'd think I'd have come up at some point."

"Well, you never wanna come to my matches anyway. Besides, you're the one who lives here. Why has it taken you so long to come down to the stadium? You could've met Raihan ages ago."

You curl in on yourself a bit. Yeah, it's probably not amazing form that you didn't even recognize the gym leader and second best trainer in the region, much less the man who's supposed to be your brother's best mate. That isn't a great look.

"Listen, I'm sure your sweet little sister here was just too busy with her job. She's a local celebrity, you know." Raihan comes to the rescue. Kinda.

"Yeah? I didn't realize that many people saw her. You knew who she was?" Lee sounds impressed.

"Well I've only been watching her as long as they've been broadcasting her!" Raihan laughs. "I just didn't know she was your sister." He looks down at you and narrows eyes slightly. It's probably imperceptible to Lee, but you're not quite sure how to read it. Is he mad that you didn't know him? That you didn't say who you were? "But like I told her earlier, what kinda weather specialist would I be if I didn't pay attention to the upcoming forecasts?"

In the back of your mind, you can feel it. There's absolutely a storm coming.

You stay as mutual friends, things go back to how they were before you caught feelings for him.

Raihan is used to having to do a lot of rejections often because of how famous he is. As a gym leader, influencer, and occasional sports magazine model, he's got a lot of work!

Which is why he likes you a lot. You help him relax from all that jazz and make him feel ordinary.

Sure being famous is a lot of fun, but only when corporate executives aren't breathing down on your neck.

Then one day, he gets two vip to the Pokemon equivalent to the Met Gala.

You two spend hours getting dressed up in separate rooms. Raihan decided to go forward with his dragon motif, having a well designed suit, make up that looks like scales on his face, and such.

When he sees you, his jaw drops. You're dressed in a modern yet royal fashion, with a half shoulder cape and crown. Your lips never looked so kissable before.

When the event happens, Raihan gets a little jealous and diverts you away from getting any other male attention. You call him out for it. But then you realize it. Raihan's crushing on you. You decide to tease him a bit, pressing him against the wall if he liked what he saw.

I wonder what questionable bit of youth culture that's gonna rapidly become dated is going to make it into Gen 10. Like, an endearingly cringe old man asking you what "cheugy" means was very funny but literally no one is gonna know what that word is in a few years (as a non-TikTok user over the age of 25 I'd never heard the word once in my life). I adore Raihan, he's my second favorite character in literally all of Pokemon at this point, but that doesn't change the fact he's a product of the time "selfie" had just entered common parlance and NO ONE would shut up about it.

So I guess what I'm saying is that in the best case scenario Gen 10 is gonna give us some new flavor of cringe ass man to cherish...and at worst Gen 10 is gonna have a Skibidi Toilet reference and we need to start bracing ourselves for this RIGHT NOW.

Prompt: Raihan x Nessa; Raihan performing CPR on Nessa to restart her heart

Notes: Not that it matters or is the focus but implied Leon/Piers, Milo/Sonia. Near-Drowning experience hence the cut.

They were supposed to be on vacation. A day out on the beach without a care in the world.  Just a day out under the sun with their friends. A day with no responsibilities. No pokemon battles. No saving the world from off the wall end of the world scenario. He was supposed to be teasing Piers and Leon about their upcoming wedding. Or taking bets on when Milo was going to grow a pair and finally ask Sonia to marry him. Better yet, he’s supposed to have Nessa wrapped up in his arms, his Rotom phone out taking selfie after selfie to share with his fans. 

So how did it all end up like this? Raihan swears he couldn’t have been gone for more than five minutes, leaving Nessa and Sonia out in water with Milo while Piers sat out on the blankets to help Leon bring some shaved ice back for everyone. Everything was fine and they were laughing.

Then there was the shouting, everything in Raihan’s body telling him something is horribly wrong. He turned around to see Milo emerging from the water with Nessa in his arms. Milo’s face reflects Raihan’s worst fears. The sweet farm boy looks horrified as he follows whatever instructions Sonia is directing him as he sets Nessa down on the sand. The ice is thrown to the ground, Raihan racing back to the group with Leon hot on his heels.

Raihan pushes past the growing crowd of people, falling to his knees beside Nessa’s prone body. “What the hell happened?” 

“I-I don’t know,” Sonia confesses, “we were splashing around and then something just.” Sonia takes in a deep breath, “she went under and wouldn’t come up. I-I had to…She’s not breathing Rai.”

The words still his own breath, teal eyes franticing taking in the frozen body. It didn’t make sense, Nessa practically lived in the water. It was like her second home. She was the best swimmer he’s ever known. So what happened?

He thinks he hears his name. Maybe feels a hand on his shoulder, but he can focus. He needs to focus on Nessa. She needs help. She needs him. There’s no time for him to wallow. He just hopes someone was quick enough to call for help.

 Raihan moves before he can begin thinking the worst, opening Nessa’ mouth and checking for obstruction that could conflict with her breathing. Sonia was sadly telling the truth as Raihan felt no puffs of air against his skin. He takes a deep breath, offering one quick glance around. Milo, Leon and Piers are working together to disperse the group of onlookers. Sonia’s on her phone, tears rolling down her cheeks. He feels a wetness on his own cheeks, quickly wiping at them before continuing. 

“You’re not leaving me, Ness,” he mutters, clasping his hands together and pressing the heel into the center of her chest. 

“Come on,” he continues, counting his compressions. 

Twenty-six.

Twenty-seven.

Twenty-eight.

Twenty-nine. 

Thirty.

He tilts her back and lifts her chin, pinching her nose shut as he places his mouth over her and blows. Nessa’s rises once and breathes more air into lungs in hopes of awakening her. 

Raihan sits back, worried eyes on her still chest. 

“Damn it!” He starts again. 

Hands clasp. Thirty chest compressions. Two breaths. 

No rising chest. 

He cries and curses, but doesn’t stop. He tries again and again, wondering when the paramedics will arrive. Hoping with everything in his being that if he can’t save her, they can. 

It’s not until he’s blown air into her lungs for a fifth time that things change. Raihan just sat back when Nessa’s body jolted, water gurgling up and out of her mouth as she tried to expel the water from her lungs. He’s quick and careful, Leon rushing over to help as they turn her to cough up the rest of the water. 

He hears a faint ‘thank god’ from behind him belonging to Sonia.  

“You did it, Rai.” Leon offers a comforting smile as he helps get Nessa situated in Raihan’s arms. “The medics are here.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Raihan’s only half listening to his best friend, eyes on the woman he loves more than anything. 

Nessa’s eyes are still closed, her chest heaving as she works on catching her breath. He holds her tightly, a shaky hand coming up to brush wayward hair from her face.

He smiles as she finally opens her eyes, blue clashing with his. A weak smile graces her lips, “Rai.”

“Hey, save your energy,” he says softly. The medics are asking to take her and he really should let them, but he also doesn’t want to let her go. “You scared me, you know. Guess those lessons you always dragged me to paid off.”

She tries to talk again, but he stops her. He promises she can talk all she wants after the doctors give her a good look over to make sure she’s fine. For now, he lets the medics take her, watching as they carefully put her on a stretcher. He’s surprised when they ask if he wanted to ride along with her. They don’t need to ask twice.

Raihan almost feels bad about leaving the other four to clean up as he climbs in with Nessa. Almost. He takes her hand, giving it a comforting squeeze and offering his best smile as he looks down at her. They’ve put a breathing mask over her mouth to help her as they begin the drive to the hospital. 

He’ll worry about their friends later, when they meet them at the hospital once they know Nessa has no complications. Raihan has a top priority and he’s not letting her out of his sight.

Hi Lily-chan, hope you have been doing well, I was rewatching the first journeys episodes and I remembered that Lance visited Raihan gym once in the past. and considering that our beloved galarian dragon type gym leader considers Ash as his new rival for him to defeat and saw Iris potential as a dragon type trainer (hypothetically saying, since he watched her matches and was ahead of him in the ranks before Ash climbed to the 8th place. So I based on this possibility), wouldn’t it be fun if he invited both to his gym one time, so he could see for himself the power of the dragon type pokemon that our perfect champion couple had? And maybe even help them, since he was a more experienced trainer with dragons? Considering the years passing since Ash became world monarch, I believe ash would use some of his other mons during other seasons battles and maybe evolving some of them as the months/years passed? Like, from Gible to Garchomp? And having the help from a expert would definitely be of help.

Oh absolutely! You always have the best ideas, I love this scenario so much 😭💕 One thing that kind of bummed me out about the Journeys seasons was the unused potential to have Iris interact with other dragon type specialists (aside from Clair and Drayden). I do consider Raihan a close friend of Ash and Iris in the future. I can see their pokemon get along well with Raihan's dragon mons, too

In which Pokemon Masters Ex jumps the Galarian shark.

Is it stupid to be disappointed in a gatcha game? Yeah. Am I really disappointed in the Galar arc now that both parts have been posted on Youtube? Absolutely.

(spoilers for unreleased content under the cut)

Look, I get that DeNA were in a pickle when they had to bring Rose into the Villain Arc, because homeboy's in jail probably forever for being willing to commit genocide over a power crisis a thousand years in the future. So the only other reasonable option (other than breaking him out of jail) was to have another Rose from an alternative universe come in. However, in doing so, they wrote themselves into a corner they really couldn't get out of.

Let me explain.

First off, for those of you wanting Rose to be confronted by literally anyone about his abuse of Leon and Bede and his willingly sacrificing Leon to Eternatus: I am really sorry to disappoint you, but it doesn't happen. Not only does no one really bring it up, but Bede isn't even in either part of the Villain Arc. And before anyone says it's stupid to expect a gatcha game to handle (child) abuse: they did it with N. They blatantly did it with N and Ghestis. They CAN do it. For whatever reason, however, they just...chose not to with Rose. Even if they didn't want to get into the Leon weeds, Bede is literally right there in the game, but he doesn't even get a name drop. It's fucking ridiculous.

However, I can see why--even if they wanted to bring it up--they couldn't really do it, because the only ending they could write with the scenario they established was a milquetoast 'reconciliation' with Rose. Bringing up what 'canon' Rose did to Leon and Bede would utterly tank this, because this is a version of Rose from the past, meaning that he is still actively abusing Leon and Bede in his own world. Bringing up the big A would inevitably lead to questions about the OTHER Bede and Leon back in Rose's home timeline/universe. As much as I hate it, I can see why the writers of a gatcha game wouldn't want to open this can of worms.

At the same time, they could have just...broken Rose out of jail to take revenge on Leon for leading Galar into destruction or whatever.

Not only that, but it's canon (see PokeAni) that Rose has been grooming Leon from childhood to defeat Eternatus. Meaning that Eternatus is still chilling in its egg in the power plant in Rose's home universe. Are we...not going to warn the other Leon and Raihan about what's going on in the Hammerlocke Power Plant, or at least mention possibly warning them???

I just. It's disappointing, because DeNA showed they weren't afraid to discuss child abuse when it came to N and Ghestis, but they completely dropped the ball with the Galar Arc, even though there are many reasons why they did so. What smarts the most, though, is that these poor writing decisions lead to an entire arc of Leon trying to placate his abuser and groomer into not starting the apocalypse or creating a civil war on Pasio pretty, pretty please.

The fact that the arc ends with Rose leading an exhibition match with Leon and Gloria knowing what Rose fucking did to Leon?? What he's still doing to his own Leon???? And he's probably going to be working together with Rose in future events??? His abuser and the man who tried to kill him???

As dramatic as it sounds, Leon deserved better. Bede deserved better. Galar deserved better.

Reader is so spoiled by both boyfriends in this scenario.

Raihan and Piers have different ways of making you feel appreciated that are unique to each person

Raihan likes to take you out on dates that seem almost too perfect. He responds to your every whim and need, hyping you up, showing you off, and not afraid to be head over heels for you.

With Piers though, he's more of a homebody. Why leave when home is already a perfe. Horror movie nights are a definite plans in your regular week.

That doesn't mean Raihan won't spend time with you at home or Piers won't take you out on dates though. The boys gauge their appropriate separate dates with you based on your mutual energy with them aside from having schedules and planning ahead of time.

Raihan and Piers do have their moments separate from you at times as well but if you ever feel lonely or neglected, they will include you. This is a scenario where everyone is kissing each other, no one gets left out.

The key to Raihan's heart is to have a strong spirit! Being his partner means being in the spotlight. Not to say he doesn't prefer shyer partners but just be aware of the attention that comes with him. He'll be protecting you regardless of how social you are.

The key to Piers' heart is to be achingly soft, especially with Marnie. Piers had a bit of an empty nest syndrome when Marnie moved out. Show that you have a good relationship with his sister and let him care for you in the ways he knows how.

Date them long enough and people come up with nicknames for you. Raihan is the Dragon, Piers is the Dark Knight, and you are their Prince Charming.

Hmmm you know, when I think back to the Naomi, Carol Hop n Leon Raihan Sonia parallels it's like. Maybe it was supposed to be Carol and Hop. Or rather that what was thought by the general public?

Cause think about it. Carol was the last addition to the trio, as was Raihan. Both have this chill, albeit cheeky personality. ( both of them are nerds). Then we could go into the parallels between Hop and Leon, or at least the narrative ones. What I'm trying to say is that Carol could have easily been the Raihan to Hop's Leon ( it doesn't help Carol is a big fan of Raihan lol). And that just leaves Naomi. The "Sonia". The girl who didn't believe in herself and gave up ( obviously nuance and Sonia n Naomi's scenarios are different).

But it didn't go that way. Carol wasn't that interested in the gym challenge until they found out about Rose. Hop was insistent that Naomi was gonna be his rival. Naomi never gave up, even when she thought she should.

It's so interesting to think of the swsh plot and history literally repeating itself to a T, but also constantly changing its course at every turn. I love it.
