Raggedy Stanley (or raggedy stan, or just stan) is a very special doll you make for your husband, the narrator, after you find him asleep at his desk with his parable open one too many times.

you know how much Stanley means to him, and you know he needs his game, but after so many years living alongside his relationship with it, you find yourself missing him... especially physically, since being holed up in his office all the time means he usually isn't available for things like cuddling on the couch. :(

raggedy stan fixes that, at least a little bit, by bringing Stanley out of your narrator's computer and into his arms instead: he can snuggle his bestie any time he wants, which means the two of you can watch movies and curl up in bed a little more often. :)

you don't mind sharing the space because it means more time with narry, and he LOVES having a representation of Stanley that can travel with him!

stan has weighted arms and legs so that he can return the narrator's hugs, hard-soled shoes, and changeable clothes; so far, his other outfits include pyjamas and a soccer jersey. <3

(in a stunning twist of fate, the narrator's favourite international team is Toronto FC...)
