okay okay the promised lark post now that s3 ep4 is out now. Phineas' apartment is much more garbage in my head so thank you for upgrading his living space for him. The color blue.... is good.

Lark is iirc in her 60s or 70s? And she said that 12-year old Tzila is right around the age she was when she went on the run. That's like... 50-60 years always watching her back always running never being able to put down roots never letting herself make connections. When we get that look into her head at the end of season 2 and we're told how afraid she is?? Hello??????????? We're told right off the bat, right from the jump, how Lark is gruff and that "any given Clint Eastwood western film character but a wrinkly old sun-darkened woman with dreadlocks" vibe but it's not just because "that's how she is" there's a girl in there who wants to have friends - she finally admits it to herself that she was willing to kill Fuze* just to be able to have her life on Midst for just a little bit longer - she just hasn't let herself. And now that she does know she wants it, she doesn't know how to behave about it! The scene where she is lashing out at Tzila slapping on that sandpaper mask and pretending she doesn't care when she cares so so so bad she cares so much. *FUZE. FUZE!! Who was maybe one of the ONLY people left ALIVE who KNEW Lark who KNEW Clara Mire who not only knew what she did but maybe WHY she did it. There's no way the other workers at the factory didn't know something of what was going on with Max Lox and Lark's mom. Lark SAYS that she liked Fuze, that he was nice, she remembered that. But she still killed him. Just to avoid having to flee Midst like she's had to flee so many lives before. GOD she's SO heartbreaking.

I have been deeply disquieted by most popular 2020s media yet somehow this character from a childrens' show became so deeply personally meaningful to me, that thinking about how seen she makes me feel has caused me, on numerous occasions, to physically spasm with 'catching the holy spirit'-type euphoria. #macs doodles #oc: fadedheart #sorry this dude was me chewing up couches that how crazy i am rn #PLAY THE LIFEGEN MOD FOR CLANGEN ITS SO GOOOOOD #lore dump:#okay so fadedpaw was the medicine cat but was alligned with the dark forest #basically just learning the ropes that kinda thing #a morbidly curious guy #he would walk in the dark forest in his dreams with his brother- racoonpaw- because racoonpaw was a dream walker #and basically acted as fadedpaw's safety net in the dark forest #the two of them kept it a secret- fadedpaw curious about the dark forest and racoonpaw being deadly protective over fadedpaw #however during a particularly brutal leaf-bare night fadedpaw froze to death right there in his nest #and because of his journey's in the dark forest- thats where he was sent #the clan mourned- and moved on #but the dark forest had big plans for fadedpaw and didnt want to loose their greatest clawhold in the clan #so moons later- early spring- a ragged cat comes lumbering into camp #covered in dirt and thin as a twig #the whole clan is shocked and confused and some even scared #but racoonpaw- now racoontail- BEGS for fadedpaw to be allowed to return to the clan #slipstar reluctantly agrees and puts him back into his medicine cat training #logflare- the medicine cat and fadedpaw's old mentor- is cautious of fadedpaw's return but continues their training #and after just a halfmoon fadedpaw graduates- with logflare naming him fadedheart- a reminder of his past death #the clan can never decide what actually happened to fadedheart #some day he didnt actually die- and was buried alive on accident- and clawed his way out and somehow survived on his own #others day he did die but starclan brought him back- as it wasnt his time yet (close but not quite)#some even say that his spirit still dwells in starclan while his body roams the land of the living #as he is completely different from the fadedpaw they knew before his death #yeah but bascially he has this contract with the dark forest now- where they let him live in his clan again #but in return he was to do their bidding and train in the dark forest #and once he dies for good he has to return to the dark forest

I will NOT rest until I know if Roxy got any of her stuffies out of the plex before going with Cassie in Meteors. You always bring up how Rox has favorite plushies and chew toys and stuff and I bet she's super sad and anxious until she finds her favorite :( She sleeps with it every night from there on out

I'm sorry I have prevented you from resting this long I have been becoming more of a menace to my mother who's thankfully used to my shit by now and I've only just noticed this.

She does not get a chance to grab them before she leaves initially. Cassie makes up for this by giving her one of hers that she will treasure forever and is helping a lot with her homesickness in that period of time she can't go back. When she can go back, the second thing she does after finding some of the Minis is go back and get them. Cassie gave her a little blue mouse and she brings that with her when she goes back to the plex for the first time too. For moral support while she finds everything again!

That little place where she hid things she liked to chew, gifts from kids she wasn't allowed to keep, the plushies of the other animatronics (including a very well loved Bonnie of course) and anything else she's managed to keep a hold of, is where she feels safest and the most at home when she can't be with the others. It's definitely one of the places she visits first. It was small and cramped before but now it's like it was made for her. Still not the most comfortable place, but yet somehow with her little collection of important things, and a few of the Minis, it's now the comfiest, cosiest place in the whole world.

I'm not sure if she'll take them back to Cassie's. At least not straight away. They're safe in that little spot, after all! Cassie's dad is a Faz-Technician too, who knows how he'll react to her bringing them back? The techs have never been very understanding before, and how nice he's been to her is already confusing enough, she's not risking that. But she may bring just a few things with her. In her backpack she can squirrel away into an unseen corner of her room at Cassie's. Just in case.

#meteors au #she has one of everyone but dj the minis and eclipse because they don't seem to have one #or if they did they're not available anymore and she has an old one #and then a few she's been given #there's not too many it's hard to sneak them away but she got good at it towards the end #if she takes any with her they're the ones of her friends #the bonnie one in particular is much more ragged compared to the others #she likes to chew the ears of it very gently so she doesn't ruin it #but she's done it for so long it's still obvious #she didn't chew as much before the events of meteors though #it was always comforting to her but it always sorta frustrated her cause it never quite worked #it works now though #and the need is so much greater now that it does #there's some other stuff in that little hidey hole too like broken kids toys and drawings she's been given #she always kept the broken kids toys she was given (and so did the others if they could) and this is the reason that she had the best-#dexterity of the glams #she would be sat there for hours trying to figure out how to fix them so if she ever saw the kid again she could give it back #some of the others that knew she did this often tried to help and do it with her #sunny in particular always does it too and was delighted when he found out she and others did it #but it was always so difficult for them!#because they were always so clunky! so clumsy! they had enough strength control not to hurt but not enough to safely hold an egg!#their hands were designed in a way that made it hard to form a proper fist for goodness sake #only sunny and moon had a lot of success because they were built with finer motor skills #so there's many a toy hidden around the plex #that's held together with tape and craft glue and stickers #sometimes even string if they could find it #and many of them are in Roxy's little hiding spot #there's a lot more to be said about that but the tags are dragging and this whole thing is a post in its own #it's not even specific to meteors but meteors is where its strongest #if anyone's interested in this lemme know and I'll gladly go more into it

🥊 WHAT DO THEY LOVE TO DO? WHAT DO THEY HATE TO DO?

Victor loves to solve things, as we know. His prowess as a P.I stems from the satisfaction garnered from solving the puzzle. He also loves to drive his car over the speed limit and watch his stories films. Spending time with his little family and friends are in there, not that he'd admit it in the early days, but coming home to his People is what he loves. Even more than shenanigans, which is saying something.

He hates waiting. He hates paperwork. He hates, with an undying passion, listening to lectures about red tape and protocol. He also hates ironing. He hates it so much and yet he must toil the domestic chores lest he get his ears chewed for looking like a crumpled paper bag.

🌂 WHAT GENRE DO THEY BELONG IN?

Victor best suits gritty neo Noir/creeping horror type settings given his whole vibe. But I agree, dark comedy horror really is the crux of them all. Albeit I think we're the only ones laughing LMAO.

Uh. Before or around we met Koil, so a long ass time LMAO. Victor is one of the Core Barbies; Jen and Victor are some of the oldest I have in terms of builds that cemented extremely early. Their names haven't changed either, that's how you know they glued in during the early era. I'm going to say ... I must have been about twelve? So fifteen years ago.
