Okay so. Because it's come to my attention multiple times now, including in meatspace, I have two accounts. This one, and @krotagion for personal/reblogs.

Any account other than this is not me or my work. My work is not posted under any other name or handle.

I back up every server or area that I discuss my lore and projects in often. I will release proof from relevant server and DMs where necessary.

I'm more than aware than the situation at hand; it's happened before. And where screenshots can be fabricated, I will address this with live screensharing of relevant messages if it doesn't put people's personal information at risk.

That said, this is both my identity and creative work at stake here.

For those of you in my community server and have come to me already, thank you for clarifying what I had been battling against for some time.

I don't collaborate with people without explicit consent; I have a timeline of shared dates, projects, WIPs and what came first. What was mentioned first, how, and why.

Experience Skeinridge through one of its many conduits as Beckett Wyre is called by yet another tape, a summoning through time itself— what has happened cannot be undone in the way that the linear understand, but fates can still be changed.

Beck resists the linear path even to her own detriment. But Ozias, another vein into Skeinridge's heart, knows the value of their roots. The Ridge lives timelessly, seamlessly— but its up to those who can adjust the web of wires to maintain balance.

Austin was taller than Brett by a good few inches, grazing six-foot-tall— maybe he had a little more to grow, but they’ll never know; the shape at the end of the pier is just how Austin had been.

For Beckett the moment is brief. A white hot charge crackles through the sky, a burst of anti-reality so intense that it washes the world out entirely. But there in that nothingness is a black shape that she would otherwise see as a distortion on a screen— edges so defined and clean , facial features caught in accented flash and even strands of water-wet hair thrown in motion by wind that just won’t quit.

Every hair on her body stands on end. Is this what Ozias sees when he references the Twains? It can’t be. They’re not like shadows, or haunts— they’re something else. Reflections. Tangible thieves, entities born of hunger and a need for a face. That’s what the notes say.

That’s what the stories will tell you, the parables of old; tomes and tales have no bearing unless they’re of Skeinridge’s lifeblood. Lake Twain, the Oslaks will tell you, has something buried deep in the rock of the earth below. It sleeps there, undying. And one day it will rise again.

Austin’s Twain still hasn’t faded from Beck’s eyes when she darts.

I’m in love with your style, the old VHS aesthetics, the graphic design, and the attention to detail. It all feels so cozy. I can imagine this as the look of a 90s indie horror/mystery game. I’m just here staring in admiration.

Aaaa thank you sm 😁 That analog horror/mystery is exactly the energy I've always sat in; going digital really opened up a world of art vibes for me. The CYOAs and game/found footage for narratives all come from that root in those old CRT screens and tracking lines. Give us the film grain and the clunky buttons. Give us the camcorder and the cassette tapes 🙌
