Who they like better: Though she'd never admit it, probably Riley - she might be more like Laurens, but that also means she knows her dad will be better at comforting and being sympathetic and understanding than her pops.

Who they take after more: Definitely Laurens, but she does have a bit of Riley's tendency to babble when flustered or stressed.

Personal headcanon: When Mars was born via a surrogate, Laurens and Riley agreed to keep up the Gates family naming tradition and name her Martha Washington Gates, but from the time she was only tiny, their daughter has hated that name and refused to answer to anything but Mars - another thing that makes her Laurens's mini-me.
