OMG OKAY. my favorite i think has to be the bit about andrew garfields little dance during caribbean night (when he like. dances over to mark and mark is just like. what the fuck are you doing.) transcript of jesse eisenberg's commentary on this:

to me i liked it because i liked it through mark, because mark would have no idea what eduardo's doing, because its the last thing that mark would do. so i loved that andrews doing that because it gave me like a reaction of what is this man doing?? who is he?? oh eduardo, and what's he doing??? oh, he's walking but why is he moving that way??? if mark would see somebody dance he would think they must be in pain, because why are they moving in that strange way.

IM SO LATE TO ANSWERING THIS-- I'm actually in the trenches. I finished 7 apps, 7 more to go but they're all like halfway done. For some reason, Rutgers has all their shit on sites other than the CommonApp so I thought it was just the essay and shit and then like 2 days after submitting, it's like here's the SRAR you have to fill out even though the CommonApp already has its own self reported transcript and have your official transcript. ALSO. DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED A FULL ASS PORTFOLIO BUT WHATEVER. SURE. (<- guy who did minimal research) So guess I'm finishing the rest of my art portfolio this weekend

i will at some point for sure!!! classes are kicking my ass rn so i probably wont be able to sit down and do a bunch of analysis for a bit bc theres a lot of data to sort thru (i did this to myself by making it so long and having so many "other" options 😭 but its important to meeee to have Nuance i love data and nuance) but from just glancing thru the spreadsheet- out of ~50 people who don't mask regularly (out of ~90 responses so far) All of them said they would or might if most people around them were (or if it was required in a few cases), which is super interesting bc i knew social pressure accounted for a lot of it but i don't think i realized How powerful it was. like there's this whole feedback loop of everyone being afraid to be one of the first to start masking again
