It's an Alastor-centric animatic in which he's confronted by the people he used to be close to – Mimzy, Rosie and Vox – all of which bitterly congratulate him for his new life and his new "friends". Alastor looks like he wants to explain himself and deny some of the accusations but he can't take back his hurtful words/actions (7 years absence) and he "can't erase what [he] wrote in ink" :3

I finally got around to redesigning my Almimzy fankid, Audrey! I think this is a lot better than her first design. I based her outfit off of a more 1940s-type look, even though she died in the '80s. This would've been the era she was a young woman, and is her preferred appearance.

Some lore notes:

The result of an experimental hookup that Al and Mimzy mutually agreed to never repeat.

Mimzy did not know she was pregnant til the second trimester, and an illegal abortion would've been pretty dangerous, so she opted to carry to term and give the baby up.

Alastor did consider raising Audrey himself, but ultimately decided it would likely be better for her to be brought up by others, as his serial killer lifestyle wasn't exactly... conducive to domesticity. He may have still kept tabs on her from a distance for those first few years of early life though.

Mimzy died for unrelated reasons not very long after Audrey's birth. Al died when she was a young child.

As a human, Audrey was white-passing. She was adopted by a white family and raised without any knowledge of her bio parents or cultural heritage. After she died in the late '80s, Audrey went to heaven and met her paternal grandmother (I call her Adelaide, or 'Della' as a nickname), who was able to tell her more about their family background.

Audrey still doesn't really know anything about Mimzy, and only has her grandmother's rose-colored stories regarding Alastor, though she knows by now since they aren't in heaven that they're likely sinners. She isn't too hung up on it though, as her life was happy and satisfying without them.

Got a couple of questions

About the Inside Out AU, I personally think that fear could be the more “depressed” type, saying things like “What would Mum think?” And “Rosie hates us. She’s going to leave us.” And sadness is more like ennui, in the sense that it once was feeling sadness, but after Al’s mom died, it just lost hope. And it makes comments like “Wouldn’t it be fun to die?” Or smth

This is more of a comment than a question, but I really like how you draw Alastor’s hair in the artificial demon AU. What inspired you?

A question about Alastor inexistent love life. Do you like platonic Almimzy?, or the name I prefer, radiodiva?

tbh that sounds more like sadness to me. fear and anxiety work together to make perfect crimes and make sure that nobody catches Al dfjhgjhfdl And “Wouldn’t it be fun to die?” could be joy 2.0

idk haha just wanted to make him look different from how he looks in canon.

I like them as friends of course, but imo Mimzy WISHES she had same thing with Alastor that he has with Rosie. She's... more like a cousin? i think? She's here mostly for extraverted part of Alastor while Rosie is here for every part of him.

They Should Say Sorry

A year has passed. Twelve months since Bernie promised to wait for Serena “for eternity”, since that amazing scene in ‘Primum Non Nocere’. So, it was fitting this week that Radio Diva addressed the controversy that has followed the December episodes when Berena was shipwrecked. What did we learn? That even as the Primum episodes were being broadcast, the December debacle was already in production. There are three or four months between filming and broadcasting and three or four months between the scriptwriters’ planning meeting and filming. Actually, we knew that. That we’re unreasonable to have expected Berena to continue. We didn’t. We knew that, with Jemma unable to commit to the series long term, there would have to be a dénouement. Frankly, I didn’t expect to see Bernie ever again until she pitched up in Primum. Why film Primum at all when Berena was going to end? That the ending was good, “grown up” is the phrase they like to use. Forgive me if I find that insulting, but then I’m only 67, what would I know about being grown up? Alastor and Mimzy are the type of besties who'd make a pact to marry each other platonically, for the tax benefits

Mimzy died before they could go through with it, can you imagine the hilarity if they HAD gotten married when they were alive, and randomly dropped the "husband" and "wife" titles at the funniest moments??

"Alastor who the hell was that woman who just left the hotel?" "Oh that was my wife" (refuses to elaborate)

both joking about divorcing the other / Mimzy dramatically yelling "I'm divorcing you!"
