Just a theory I have after finally catching up with Holby this week.

AND it’s also possible that Henrik decides in his honourable way to stay with Bernie as she is diffusing the bomb and he goes up with her. 

I hope not, but it’s possible. And kind of fitting and end for Henrik, if he has to have one. 

Or someone else stays with Bernie, like Jac, who has nothing left to lose and she would do that rather than die slowly.

OR, Bernie manages to get the bomb outside (so the hospital isn’t destroyed) but it explodes while she is running with it. 

And it’s entirely possible that next week, Serena comes back for a reunion that Henrik has orchestrated, and she and Bernie die together - but that would be silly I guess.

Either way, I think Bernie is only here for one dramatic episode. And she’s going to die.

Self harm, suicide references

Anyone able to help??

I'm trying to find an episode of Holby which was nominated for a Mind Media award in 2011 (somewhere between series 11-12 I think). The description of the episode on Mind says that "a man is brought in after self-harming and after leaving the hospital, Dr Cullen is forced to operate". I can remember the episode clear as day but for the life of me cannot find evidence of it anywhere! Does anyone happen to know what episode this is? Mind don't specifically mention the episode title/number!

Right, I’ve just counted it up. Anyone want to guess how many of the 53 Holby City episodes of 2019 were written exclusively by men*? 

*(as far as I can discern from the information publicly available about the writers in question)

Answer: By my calculations (please correct me if they’re wrong), it stands at 43 out of 53 episodes. Just over 80% of their output for the year. A further two episodes had men on a mixed writing team. Only 8 episodes appear to have been written exclusively by women.
