🕯️ vnm 🃏 cshpp 🔮 gfndme ☕
options and photos of my equipment (& cute pets!) beneath the cut:
deck options:
standard smith-waite: tiny (smaller than a US quarter), pocket size (comparable to a business card), and standard size
nonstandard smith-waite: the somnia tarot by nicolas bruno (incredible photography project. eerie, dreamlike, liminal, yet the physical props give it a more grounded, tangible feel than your average deck.), the tattoo tarot (stunning art, if you like clean but complex designs, classic playing card artwork, or traditional western tattoo art, this deck will really resonate with you.), the literary tarot (each card depicts classic literary characters from around the world; deck sales benefited charity. my personal favorite. every detail is carefully crafted to appeal to book lovers. elaborate, shiny, magical. also they gave odysseus top surgery scars)
specialty decks: the caretaker (@cryptotheism, formerly @normal-horoscopes)'s normal tarot deck (completely original oracle deck, feels liminal and dark, but somehow peaceful; great for someone pondering deep mysteries or looking for advice in hard times), moreno & quijada's sonoran tarot (smith-waite's major arcana only; stunning and vibrant watercolors of sonoran desert wildlife. really showcases the power and wonder of the natural world. local purchase from indie artists who I've personally met)
if you'd like me to use a specific tarot spread template, please let me know. otherwise i will choose the best option for your query + number of cards. you can also pick a spread mat, if you like! you don't need to purchase enough cards to fill the mat; i can get creative with the placement. just let me know if you want the floral mat or the bunny mat:
other options:
pendula: metal (this was a gift and i don't know what it's made of; brass maybe? gold in color.), howlite, glass beads with sea turtle scene
crystal chips: red jasper, various quartz, flourite, lapis lazuli, lace agate, tigers eye, sunstone, sodalite, bismuth. all stones can be thrown, or you/i can choose 5-10 specific stones that resonate with your query.
runes: elder futhark, white clay, handmade. wyrd optional.
my kitty cat, nachtus:
nacht came into my life through my current girlfriend, who has had him since he was born. every time she went into the room with his litter, he scrambled up her pant leg like he knew she would be his favorite person. he's about 2 years old now, and loves cuddles, belly rubs, q-tips, waking up our boyfriend in the middle of the night, bothering people while they're gaming, and sitting on my gf's shoulder like a parrot.
my puppy dog, misha:
misha came into my life through my current boyfriend, who has had him since he was a puppy. he was a rescue, along with his brother oakley, who went with my boyfriend's sister. misha is a chug (chihuahua-pug mix) and is estimated to be around 8 years old. he loves cuddles, being swaddled in blankets, barking at strangers, lying on the softest pillows he can find, and zoomies!
thanks so much for taking the time to read this. it means more than you know.

Hi Pandora! I'd like to get to know you better. I have a few questions for you 😉
what's your favorite movie?
Your favorite TV show?
Your favorite book?
A favorite actor or actress?
What studies have you done? What do you do in real life?
@armiliadawn ohhh these are wonderful! And so hard! 😬 Here we go:
My favourite movie of all times is The Little Mermaid. I also have a veryyy soft spot for The Sound of Music because I've seen it a million times with my mother and it brings fond memories (I try to watch it once a year!). See? It's already so hard to choose just one! Because these two bring fond memories and there's so many good conteporary movies! But okay. I'll stick with these two!
My favourite TV Show... I have a soft spot for Modern Family because, at this point, it's mind-numbing and it never stops being funny. Again, I'll go down memory lane and say that That 70's Show brings me amazingly fun memories. But I can binge anything terror related (corean tv shows are so awesome!!) I'll have to stop here or I would go on forever!
My favourite book... this is the worst question of all... because I'm an avid reader, always have been! I devour fantasy and horror books. I love reading the classics. But my die-hard is Harry Potter. I've been following Harry since I was 10 and my Hogwarts letter didn't arrive when I was 11... But I'm still waiting. Slytherin all the way! 🐍 (I also love you Ravenclaws! 🦅)
I went to university to major in Comunications and I specialized in Journalism. I loved doing radio and to write pieces. I hated the TV part of the course! But I'm not doing anything professionaly with this... I worked for almost ten years in a bookshop (I managed it for a while) until I finaly opened a business of my own. One that has NOTHING to do with my course. I'm a numerologist 😊 Fun fact: I also practice radiesthesia, Lenormand card reading and I'm finishing a course in psychoanalysis!
Thank you soooooo much for this fun ask!!! I loved it! ❤️❤️

Top, page from Raymond Buckland, Solitary Seance: How You Can Talk with Spirits on Your Own, 2011. Via. Bottom, photograph via NASA, Toroid inflatable station concept during testing, 1961. Via. More.
Using the pendulum is known as radiesthesia—also rhabdomancy, or cleidomancy. One of the best-known uses of the pendulum is in dowsing, in finding where to drill for water. But it is also used for many other things, not least of all for communicating with spirit.
Unlike many other early space station concepts, this design actually made it out of the concept phase and into production, though no models were ever flown. This particular station was 30-feet and expandable. It was designed to be taken to outer space in a small package and then inflate in orbit. The station could, in theory, have been big enough for 1 to 2 people to use for a long period of time. A similar 24 foot station was built by the Goodyear Aircraft Corporation for NASA test use. The concept of space inflatables was revived in the 1990s. Via Wikipedia.

‘If an artist who conceived a work says that it is unfinished and should not be exhibited, it isn’t – and shouldn’t be.’ The court felt differently: ‘When an artist makes a decision to begin work on a piece of art and handles the process of creation long-distance via e-mail, using someone else’s property, someone else’s materials, someone else’s money, someone else’s staff, and, to a significant extent, someone else’s suggestions regarding the details of fabrication – with no enforceable written or oral contract defining the parties’ relationship – and that artist becomes unhappy part-way through the project and abandons it,’ wrote the presiding judge, Michael Ponsor, ‘then nothing in the Visual Artists Rights Act or elsewhere in the Copyright Act gives that artist the right to dictate what that “someone else” does with what he has left behind, so long as the remnant is not explicitly labeled as the artist’s work.’ (...)
Essentially a horrific readymade, Barca Nostra sunk in April 2015 between Libya and Lampedusa with an estimated 1,000 migrants onboard, of whom 28 survived. The Italian government recovered the wreck in 2016 and moved it to a base in Sicily before it was placed under the care of the Augusta municipality, a landing site for Operation Mare Nostrum, Italy’s response to the Mediterranean migrant crisis. Mare Nostrum, or ‘Our Sea’, cost the Italian government a reported £7 million per month, and ensured safe passage for over 100,000 people within a year of its launch in October 2013. But after Italy appealed for assistance, EU states criticised the operation for encouraging people to risk the sea crossing, so EU agency Frontex replaced Mare Nostrum with Operation Triton in 2014, with a slashed budget and focus on border security.
Effectively a policy of nonassistance, as Forensic Oceanography concluded in their 2016 report Death by Rescue: The Lethal Effects of Non-Assistance at Sea, Triton created a situation where commercial ships were increasingly called into rescue missions they weren’t suited to conduct – such was the case with the sinking of Barca Nostra in 2015, they found. That year, European Parliament president Martin Schulz called for ‘burden sharing’ based on the fact that five out of 28 EU member states were taking in 50 percent of refugees to Europe at the time. Yet no effective cooperation manifested. Neither in creating humanitarian responses to a global crisis, nor in mediating the ultraright sentiments and movements that rose as a result – as demonstrated in 2018, when Italy’s far-right interior minister, Matteo Salvini, launched a campaign to block search-and-rescue vessels from docking in Italian ports, and drafted a hardline anti-migrant bill adopted by the Italian government.
It was within this desperate context that Barca Nostra was brought to the Venice Biennale – in cooperation with Augusta’s municipal council and Comitato 18 Aprile, which lobbied against government plans to scrap the ship – with Büchel covering transportation costs. Presented with little information – not for the lulz, it seems, but out of contempt for a wilful ignorance – the vessel’s arrival was lambasted as ‘tasteless’ by those at the vernissage, seemingly more concerned with the insult of its presence – and those taking selfies with it, like a Martha Rosler collage come to life – than discussing the exclusionary policies that brought it into being. (Granted, as curator Alexandra Stock wrote in a scathing takedown, ‘The optics [were] bad because Büchel set it up that way’.) While the stunt drew international attention – including responses from Salvini himself, countering the idea that the Venice Biennale is an ineffective stage for protest – it also revealed the limits of internationalism, whether in the artworld or the world at large.

Anti-Magic
Solomon's seal has been used for the most diverse esoteric purposes during the times and well known its use as a symbol of protection.
Modernly, waveform dowsing has incorporated it into its graphics, given their emitting properties. Published in the book Complete Treatise on High Magic, by Vasariah, and recovered for dowsing purposes by António Rodrigues and called by the author of "Neutralizing Pentacle".
The Anti-Magic graphic is intended to remove magic states present in living beings, through the use of testimonials, therefore it can be applied in a distance.
Align the plate in the north direction, as indicated, and place the point indicated the testimony of the person to be treated. The broadcast time must be controlled dowsing.

Chrysoprase 💚 releasing heavy feelings; troubled bonds; guilt
It's a wonderful crystal for breaking free from the repetitive patterns of JUDGMENT and GUILT. Exactly because it helps us rid ourselves of these heart-weighing energies, it works on forgiveness and acceptance, whether of ourselves or others.
Chrysoprase corresponds to the Heart Chakra and is an incredible crystal for the development of forgiveness, compassion, and openness to others. I've used this crystal a lot in situations where I needed it, the benefits came, but I only made the connection/remembered after I had used the crystal.
Indeed, Chrysoprase is an excellent crystal for releasing heavy feelings, especially those generated by troubled bonds/relationships.
Do you know the stored-up hurt? Or then, a feeling of guilt? Resentment, or even the tendency to judge others, to not have as much compassion?
This crystal helps with all of that.
How to use it, Paty?
First: Never use crystals without taking breaks, use them for a maximum of 3 days without alternating with other crystals, using them for longer than that may generate an excess of this type of energy.
Under the pillow, at bedtime
For meditation
As a pendant
In your energy treatments
In your energy rituals
To expand the heart, use it while imagining a clear green light around you

The wiki on Radionics
"Some people claim to have the paranormal or parapsychological ability to detect "radiation" within the human body, which they call radiesthesia. According to the theory, all human bodies give off unique or characteristic "radiations" as do all other physical bodies or objects. Such radiations are often termed an "aura". Radiesthesia is cited as the explanation of such phenomena as dowsing by rods and pendulums in order to locate buried substances, diagnose illnesses, and the like. Radiesthesia has been described as a mixture of occultism and pseudoscience by critics."

Emma Kunz (1892 - 1963) , Untitled, No. 172, crayon and oil crayon on paper
#repost Stephen Ellcock Emma Kunz (1892-1963) was a Swiss artist, healer, and researcher. Kunz’s intricate large-scale drawings were made with colored pencils on graph paper. She created each drawing using a pendulum and a form of divination, called radiesthesia. Her artwork was part of her research on vibrational energy, and it also served as a healing tool for her patients. Kunz would often have her patients sit or lie near the drawings in order to help them with the healing process.
As featured in The Cosmic Dance, to be published worldwide by Thames and Hudson, Autumn 2022
