Some more AU stuff, because.

- Aristotle is constantly worried about Billie. Partly because of Arthurs disapearance, but also because she can be a bit reckless.

- rad magic dad! Aristotle has a shorter criminal record than canon Aristotle, as they're busy looking after billie.

- Lily and Lewis are a little jelous that Billie started learning magic at a young age.

-Billie hates it when people ask about her "real" family. As far as she's concerned, Aristotle is her real parent.

No one asked but saying it anyway

While Billie finds the gems in the same order as in the game, she doesnt get to all of them. Pretty much everything goes the same as in canon untill Dutch's chapter, exept she moves directly from location to location.

When she gets to the hotel, theres already a bunch of missing posters for her. She gets a job there, and while no one says anything, Basile secretly contacts Acrion. When they get there Billie is told someone would like to speak to her. She is then reunited with the rad magic dad, who is (understandibly so) pretty upset at her.

Acrion asks her why she did it, and Billie brings up his and Arthurs past, accedentaly exposing Acrions true identity. News spreads fast, and soon everyone knows that Aristotle faked his death for 15 years. A few days later they release an official statement about why they did it, that being to protect Billie.

SO. setting i imagine is similar to typical vat7k BUT a little darker and more dystopian. think steampunk industrial stuff... which i know hugo's kingdom is already like lol but just imagine it like. in a lot more places. this is basically a "steampunk" au too

robots are VERY common. invented by a group of scientists with the main ones being donella and ulla

robots are used as service etc etc. theyre not sentient at all so this isnt like. some unethical practice

but ulla and donella are OBSESSED with making them more and more advanced, theyre besties and all that. but ulla is Particularly obsessed with making the Perfect Robot

we know that ulla is kind of messed up in the head. in this au she kind of messes way too much with robot sentience WHILE ALSO getting obsessed with the eternal library. same stuff happens eventually. donella and ulla fight about the eternal library etc etc

BUT ALSO... ulla is working on her Magnum Opus. a son for her and her husband, who she is making to be the perfect robot. quirin is unaware of the shit shes doing and fully trusts her and supports this passion project

and well! she does make the first Sentient Robot. with the use of science and Magical Knowledge she was able to basically give life force through magical means into the robot. The robot of course she named varian. and not only is he sentient, but he looks completely human

she did some messed up stuff tho! again! she's programmed him with fake memories so he thinks he has lived a life fully as a human. he's also programmed to not notice things like the small seams on his body and all that. like his code just immediately disregards all that

anywaysss. after ulla disappears, quirin is dedicated to taking care of varian. he figures it's best to follow with ulla's choice of making sure varian doesnt know hes a robot

MEANWHILE ! because of the schism between ulla and donella, there was some wack shit that happened. namely robots going completely crazy. now all robots are Murder Robots. so the world is pretty Dystopian at the moment

Varian decides he wants to go out and find the source of what made the robots go crazy. bc this sucks lol. like everyone is Just Miserable

so he meets his friends. nuru, yong, hugo!

LETS TALK ABOUT HUGO

hugo works for donella. hugo also absolutely HATES robots. the robots have been messing shit up since he was a kiddo

he's kind of like a robot hunter. harvesting them for parts as well as getting rid of them bc theyre dangerous. usually donella directs him to different missions. and now shes telling him to join this guy (varian) bc she wants the secrets that ulla had hidden and varian is sure as hell after them

sooooo at one point. varian gets hurt maybe, or interacts with something that breaks the code in him or whatever. the code that stops him from noticing his robotic qualities. i think he probably would get super injured and like. he and all his friends stare in shock and horror as some sort of gash or sparks or whatever show a metallic inside

they all find out he's a robot together weeeee. no one is having a good time

so he's living with existential crisis. he's away from his dad so he cant travel all the way back to be like hey What The Fuck. AND he's still dedicated to his goal. but now he's just. confused, scared, and unsure if he's worthy of his humanity that he thought he had

they all try to work with this new discovery (which i think would happen earlier on rather than way later). hugo especially is like. having a crisis. bc he's always hated robots and for good reason. but varian... varian is SO human. he thinks, he feels, he cares, etc. he's more Human than a lot of the Flesh and Blood people he's been around

so you know, hugo starts to fall in love with him anyway. lots of excellent scenes of him helping varian with his mechanics, etc

and of course varian starts falling in love with him too, but is dealing with a lot of confusion as well. like is he even real, doesnt hugo deserve to be loved by a Human and not a Robot, etc etc

January post poll

So, to start the year, I'm switching it up. This poll was originally created in a document called the depravity scale, if that gives you any hints about what to expect. Basically, I ranked all of the current smut ideas I have based on how depraved or out there I think they are.

I'll elaborate more under the cut after the poll since I can only provide so many details in the actual poll - that way no one has to read through the more detailed depraved summaries if they just want to vote for something relatively vanilla. (Sorry it's so Mephisto and Barbs heavy. You get it right?)

Beelzebub x MC: The unnecessarily sensual image of Beelzebub eating a mango leads to MC pouncing on him.

Diavolo x MC: Implied!caught by Barbatos while giving Diavolo a blowjob under his desk (with a little extra spice by having to be quiet while holding him in your mouth).

Simeon x MC: MC has feelings (romantic and sexual) for someone (I don’t know, probably Lucifer, Raphael, or Michael), but they don’t reciprocate. Simeon offers to be a substitute and does everything MC imagines their crush doing to them.

Barbatos x Mephisto: Barbatos keeps Mephisto “entertained” while Diavolo finishes his paperwork; light brat-taming vibes.

Barbatos x Mephisto x MC: Barbatos catches Mephisto and MC getting hot and heavy on RAD premises and decides that a punishment is in order.

Diavolo x Barbatos x MC: Diavolo and Barbatos let MC loose in the labyrinth under the castle and give them a head start before they go on the hunt to find them; primal play, interrupted solo with Barbs; double penetration; Diavolo and Barbatos have a "sharing is caring, but they’re still mine" mentality about MC.

Mephisto x MC: Mephisto’s performance pt. 2 (still messed up, but a little less sad maybe?, more religious undertones, more plot). MC gets the chance to use Mephisto like he used them - and Mephisto basically has a sex dungeon?

Barbatos x MC: Messed up Barbatos as Nightbringer AU where Barbatos gets MC to go back in time before he sterilized himself so he can breed MC and fill them with his eggs.

Solomon x MC: Solomon fixes MC’s sudden, mysterious unquenchable thirst (lust), pretty messed up, amab!MC (may write an alternate afab!MC with a magical sex swap/dick growth thing going on), magic as a form of drugging; overstimulation; Solomon being a fucker in more ways than one; dubcon because the drugging makes MC horny - may have hints of non-con.

The Demon Lord x MC / Mephisto x MC: Yes, MC fucks Diavolo's dad (while being involved with Diavolo - bonus cheating); MC gets targets by a group against Diavolo because of their relationship with Diavolo; the group uses mind control to force MC to visit the Demon Lord and ride him while in his sleeping state; Mephisto finds out too late to stop it but just in time to find MC sobbing on the ground; Mephi provides (sexual) aftercare - which involves him eating the Demon Lord’s cum out of MC. Seriously. This one is messed up on multiple levels (you've been warned).

Alright its 12am time to talk about my Obey Me Madoka AU again.

This time i wanna talk about the rest of the main magical girl group. I’ve already talked a bit about MC and Lilith’s roles in a previous post so lets cover everyone else.

Notes: My MC uses he/him, apologies if that bothers you. Also something that should be mentioned is that in every AU and even my “rewrite” of the main timeline MC AND LILITH AREN’T RELATED IN ANY WAY, AT ALL. I legitimately don’t know why Solmare thought that would be a good idea. I also haven’t developed these guys fully (mainly their wishes) but i’m trying.

Okay, starting off with Rose.

Rose Casanova is a 29 year old human exchange student at RAD. She fills the role of Mami, being the oldest of the group and having been a magical girl for a bit longer then the rest. She’s a part time actress and part time volleyball player, while also studying art in her free time.

Rose is an extremely hard worker, having done all she could for her younger sisters in their parents absence. Their mother and father are divorced, and the girls stayed with their dad. He’s a good father, but he’s usually busy working. While they would visit their mother every so often, and she is also a good mom, she had moved out of state to be with her new boyfriend.

As a magical girl, Rose is the leader of the team as she’s been one the longest. (if you don’t count how MC spent years rewinding time.) She’s mainly focused on long range, standing a fair distance away and being able to help guide the rest in fights.

Next is Nikolai.

Nikolai Winters is a 453,000 year old demon who’s been studying at RAD while trying to get his painting career off the ground. Nikolai fills the role of Sayaka, having self healing abilities and a strong (stubborn) sense of heroism.

Nikolai doesn’t speak to his parents much these days, as he wanted to pursue his art and his parents didn’t see the value in it, causing Nikolai to leave. They call him every so often and they have nice small talk, but thats about where their interactions end. At some point, Nikolai managed to sneak into the human realm where he met a 20 year old Luka. The two have been friends for the past 4 years, and he’s excited when he sees a familiar face in the exchange program list.

As a magical girl Nikolai is pretty capable of fending for himself, however he tends to forget everything except what he’s attacking so he works better as a duo with someone or in a group. Although if he gets attacked it’s not too big of a deal, considering his previously mentioned healing abilities.

Speaking of Luka.

Luka Himura is a 24 year old human who joined the exchange program to see Nikolai, while also wanting to learn more about the Devildom in general. Luka fills the role of Kyoko, being a veteran magical girl and loving to pit his ideals against others.

Luka moved away from his family a while ago, stemming from his older sister’s death. She was working on becoming a doctor, when it all became too much for her. Luka keeps in touch with his parents, and has dinner with them every so often, but he can’t get over his sister’s absence. Meeting Nikolai made him feel like he didn’t have to worry about anything else for a while, causing Luka to invite Nikolai to stay with him for a few months until the gate to the Devildom opened again.

As a magical girl, Luka is a very fiery person. He loves fighting, and testing his abilities. He’s a short range/melee fighter like Nikolai, however he can spawn fireballs and kick them for longer range attacks. He’s also a good runner, making it easier for him to traverse the field.

Now that completes the quintet, but theres still one more.

Grey is a 9 year old kid from presumably the human world, having somehow ended up in the Devildom by accident. Being picked up by MC and essentially being MC’s adopted son. He acts as a Nagisa equivalent, being very food motivated but even more motivated to help his dad.

Grey’s biological mother passed during his birth and his father left him alone, and he somehow found a way to the Devildom in that time. While Grey misses his father, he prefers his dad (MC) much more. MC tries to raise Grey the best he can, even with all the time traveling he’s doing. Grey gets along pretty well with the rest of the group, as he tries to learn techniques from them as well.

As a magical girl, Grey isn’t much suited for combat. Preferring to act as support from the sidelines. He doesn’t have the best grasp of his abilities, but is a very quick learner.

I’ll hopefully have their designs ready soon, unfortunately i’ve been hitting some artblock recently. Still, i hope i can at least have their concept designs ready soon. Alright, thanks for reading, have a nice day.

Okay so the thing is, in my head I know exactly how I want this ship to play out and what it means to me... But putting that into words? Quite difficult actually!

I've been like, silently obsessing over these two for the past few months actually. I did this to myself? It was an accident?? I have this non-magical AU road trip fic for them that I've been rotating around for the longest time and have been *dying* to write, so I guess that's what a lot of my thoughts have centered around! That said, if I could explain the appeal more generally...

*Well*, as far as ships I feel strongly positive about go, this one is... Definitely one of the most unapologetically toxic ones tbh? Not as the end game for them! Rather, usually when these two play out in my head it sorta starts as two people with a lot of conflict between them (perhaps cause they're so similar in a lot of ways), who ultimately come to understand each other very well and grow as a result. Does that make sense? I think they make each other worse, and *then* they make each other better.

So what is it about them? Well... It's a bit hard to place actually! I would say that near its core, their relationship to me is very much defined by its physicality. Which I guess I mean from a number of angles (eheh including the sexual side sure but I'll spare you that dw I'll spare you from that LOL). For one there's... Something very physical about both of their most core traumas (the pyramid, the chimera) that to me separates these two from the rest of the other kid(dad)s? Similarly, and perhaps related to this, they certainly have a relationship with physical violence that is unlike the others as well, wherein it tends to be more of a pleasure or source of catharsis rather than purely being a necessary evil. Obviously in Grant's case this takes on a particularly dark tone, but still I think Lark's violent disposition is apparent and important enough.

I'll go back to all of that shortly but as a side tangent, they both have similar (albeit not identical) habits of shutting down and pushing people away as well? There's a lot of self-loathing, a lot of not believing oneself to be worthy of love, and so on and so forth.

SOOOOOO... I think at first they could be very cold and mean with each other! (Cue that scene in The Staircase when Lark body checks Grant to push past hm like ouch ooo my feelings but also *go on*). Verbal communication only goes so far with either of them, seeing oneself in the other and projecting that self-loathing onto them in the form of hate... It's a recipe for disaster tbh.

So... They fight! Especially like, physically, they fight. And... It's great? For both of them. It's an outlet, it's cathartic, and when it's just the two of them like this they can be shameless about it! <- That last part is important, for both of them but especially for Grant I think.

And I think with time they learn to be more open with one another in other ways? As I mentioned earlier, their traumas bear a lot of similarities, among other things, so I think that once they reach this point there's this level of understanding between them that they haven't really been able to find elsewhere, and in that, probably some comfort. And trust!!!

So they're not really a couple sorta deal for me even if some of the feelings present might ultimately be romantic? It's more like, they let off some steam, they kiss a bit (or a bit more than a bit), and they love each other in a way that is deep and personal but doesn't require any sort of label, cause words were never what defined them in the first place.

Does any of this make sense??? Did I mention I'm drunk???

Not that this is exactly how it needs to be play out in every iteration of them, either. I guess there's also a lot of hurt/comfort for me with these two. A lot of that has to do with my own headcanons of Lark having PTSD and related symptoms that are quite similar to what Grant goes through, and the mutual understanding that comes with that (in short). And hey, for all the cuts and bruises from their training sessions (and/or consensual roughhousing), there's just as many carefully applied bandages and ice packs afterwards eheheh.

AHA okay this was long oh my goodness. And I still don't feel like I really got what I mean across!

🤔 Honestly, if this explanation turned you *off* from the ship more than anything, that's pretty fair tbh! They're really difficult for me to put into words haha, maybe in fanfiction it would be less off-putting!

AU concept that im not sure has been done before:

The gist is that after Arthurs disapearance, Billie is raised by Aristotle instead of Belle. Aristotle teaches Billie how to control her magic from a young age, and at the time of the game she no longer uses a training wand. Belle is still in the picture, as she sometimes looks after Billie if Aristotle has something urgent come up.

AU name is "rad magic dad! AU".

Fun fact: Billie likes to mess with people by pretending not to know shes adopted. Aristotle finds it rude when people assume she knows and is 100% in on the joke. Every time it happens they're like "im so sorry you had to find out this way Billie" while internally laughing their ass off.

This is all ive got at the moment, just a fun concept im playing around with. Feel free to ask questions.

- Unlike in canon, Billie isn't hated by the people in her village. Acrion taught her how to controll her magic from a young age, and there hasn't been an accedent in years. She still gets the occasional wierd look, and Acrion gently discourages her from casting magic in front of strangers.

- It's kind of a running joke in the village that Acrion is secretly the late hero Aristotle, due to how much they look alike. Without his cape though, no one has actualy recognised him yet, and Acrion plans to keep it that way. We know how that end, lol.

Ideas I've had for the life series = toddlers in a playground au we all seem to like atm:

'golden' apples are actually just yellow apples that the daycare get sometimes, but they've all decided that their magical.

It's actually an afterschool club, and mumbo usually doesn't go, but his mum's car broke down, so he joined the games for a little while until the car was fixed and he stopped going again.

The afterschool thing also explains why there's a long-ish time between episodes. School feels like it takes forever for most kids, so it feels like forever between each game.

The Watcher/Listener thing was from a game at Grian and the others old school, but they've decided it was a secret and to not tell anyone.

Grian was off school because he was sick in the afk episode, so he left his plushy to play the game instead so he didn't miss out (currently can't decide whether it should be a parrot plushy or smthn else)

all of their separate smps (hermitcraft, empires, etc) are just different form classes their in, but not everyone goes to the afterschool club, which is why not everyone is there.

the whole 'rift ' crossover was just the kids way of explaining their two classes getting merged because of short staffing. The hermit shrinkers was just Grian stealing people's shoes because the heel made them taller.

All of their builds were either made from Lego or a toyhouse.

Joel did borrow a dictionary/thesaurus from the teacher for the bad/mad/sad/rad/dad/vlad boys joke.

Fast forward a long ass time and you find some cool satanic worshippers that dig the idea of conceiving your child for you and the Devil, but they actually fuck you over with the blood magic stuff they used and now your son belongs to them. You don’t find this out until you’re about to bless him during his dedication ceremony after the woman you trusted to carry your son has the baby, which you have never been happier in your existence about. Said woman has the audacity to name your baby “copy” since she used the fetus of her own baby with the current Papa to make an antichrist. You can’t tell him who he really is or who you are, and all like five of the demon kings that you hang out with that love you so fucking much can’t do anything either because of that drippy ass pendant Mr. Salty is wearing giving him Solomon top energy. Now you’re terrified of what they’re going to do with your son and wondering how long it will be until they kill him, and you can only interact with him while you’re in your silly little human cosplay. 

Oh, and your son is being raised by rats for like the first couple years of his life because his dad thought it was a good idea. He’s never seen The Omen, but if he had he totally would have given Copia a hell hound. Rats are rad too though. 

But it all kind of works out, because you really really like the current Papa’s oldest son, and so do all the other Lords of Hell, so you decide to sort of gift him/ dump a third fratellino on him AND give him a sexy vampire Prime Mover that you have blessed yourself. 

Now all the Unholy Mother can do is wait until the wrath of God can come down upon the church when Jesus arrives.

Story Post 4? That's the one about Caleb's reactions to Hunter's injuries I believe. OH are you suggesting that Hunter DOES have those injuries, he just hides them from his dad with illusion magic or something? That theory is rad af, I love it!!!!

I'm afraid my actual reason for leaving them out was to imply that Hunter has had a somewhat safer and happier childhood with Caleb present (albeit still emotionally fraught in a very different way). However, considering that I haven't actually addressed it in story and have been telling everyone that the stories behind Caleb's scars are up to them, I am ALL for the headcanon that Hunter is wearing a concealment stone or something

Next Gen! AU Order

I also wsnt to make and ordered list of birth order for each of the kiddos in Next!Gen (Tagging @leviathanswingman because they also work on this AU... also just in case I put down anything wrong.)

Luke: Aight, so I have to include Luke because he is still a kid when the others are born. He's the same age/ around the same age as Ollie. So he'd probably be around 10-13 when Treasaure and Lilith are born, and around 13-16 when Ollie is adopted.

Oleander : Adopted around 13-16 by Diavolo and Lucifer. He was taken from the streets from Diavolo and is next in line for the throne. It definitely takes some adjustments for them to adjust to being taken in by the royal family, but they're trying their best.

Treasure: Mammon's first child and the first child born into the family. Mammon is a single dad through most of their childhood. The first few years of her life are pretty boring/lonely with no other demon children to play with and immediately brightens when cousin Lilith is born. Has a knack for finding little treasures. They also spend a majority of their childhood in the human world, visiting the Devildom from time to time for family.

Lilith: First (accidental) child of Solomon and Asmo. She was not planned, but is very much loved. Around 3 years younger than Treasure. Like Treasure she also spends a majority of their childhood in the human world, visiting the Devildom from time to time for family. Very gifted with magic, was prone to accidental acts of arson as an infant.

Aurelia, Amias, Alastair (Triplets, The A Team): Mammon's second round of kids and Treasure's half siblings. They are born when Treasure and Lilith are in middle school (middle school age). Lilith definately wasn't jealous that Treasure got little siblings. Were a little bit of a handful but they very much look up to Treasure, even if they do cause issues from time to time. Spent a majority of their childhood in the human world, visiting the Devildom from time to time for family.

Ariel: The baby of the family! Ariel is Solomon and Asmo's second child and affectionately called Solomon's little clone as he is his dad's 'mini me' in terms of looks. He does have Asmo's eyes along with his charming abilities. Unlike some of the other kiddos, Ariel was born in the human world. A little more down to earth. Was born when Lilith was attending RAD.
