I'd like to introduce a very significant original character of mine, Samuel Heartly.

I have been very critical of my art lately due to my rapidly evolving style. This is from two months ago, and my art may not entirely look like this the next time I post. (Another reason I've not opened commissions)

Besides that, this character is for a story that I have in the works. I've been scared to introduce him because my story is yet to be finished. But he was created almost a decade ago, so maybe I should show him some respect?

i dont know the one artist, i found it on pinterest (🙄) and reverse image search was no help, but i wanted to include them cuz they were highly influential on how i draw gerry. please Imk if you know them!
