Got Flowers In The Mail Today....

Aren’t they lovely? It came with a tiny note that read: I know you’ve liked me for a long time….but I just can’t get myself to confess just yet. I hope you like flowers. Keep your head up.

So naturally, I was all:

I was really thrilled because I thought the nation I’ve liked for the longest time finally acknowledged me. He’s always been on the shy side….heh. But something struck me about the note, keep your head up… The a few nights before, I was a bit down about myself and I called my Papa about it. He had given me the same advice, “Keep your ‘ead up mon cherie~” Looking back at the flowers, I noticed something else:

Anyone come to mind? Of course he wouldn’t send me a boatload of roses, that would be obvious, but he had to put in at least one. When I called today and told him about the gift, his “Oh mon dieu~ Really~?” didn’t even sound legit. And I was all:

But I played it off. He’s such a crazy man. I appreciate my Papa’s thought, but come on…hahah. At least I have something pretty to look at…he’s a good man.
