I noticed on one of ur HCs that America spaces out alot bc he keeps thinking abt s/o. What is he usually thinking about?
Lmao i can imagine him having a day dream at the beach w his s/o and hes abt to kiss/make-out with them but rudely gets snapped out of it when the boss calls him. I think hes ready to yeet his phone😂.
man, i don't even think russia wants to know what alfred's thinking about, but since you asked:
it depends on his mood, his recent interactions with his darling, the political state of the world. his darling just rejected him (again)? you best bet he's daydreaming about smashing the mf's head in who tempted his darling away (because there's no way they wouldn't want him if there wasn't someone else)
he's watching his darling give a speech at a world meeting? he's imagining being the ultimate power couple with them bringing the world universal peace and freedom and of course mcdonalds.
they'd definitely get married on the beach, instead of a suit he'd wear his swim trunks, he's sure his darling would much rather stare at his guns (metaphorical guns) than a boring ol' suit. that's what england would wear to a wedding, and he's old as shit. Alfred is no where near old but when he is iggy's age he's sure he'll have 50 children with his darling and have replaced all the nations of the world with chibi americ-y/ns. oh and don't forget their mars colo-
he's stuck running his boss an errand whilst they could be frolicking off with other nations? alfred's daydreams focus on swooping him superman style and saving his lois lane from the evil villains who would dare seduce his darling away from him.
to put it short, his daydreams are as frequent as they are childish, whilst romano, japan and iceland might fantasise pretty normal/domestic interactions with their beloved, america, canada, and mexico are the type to think about the most fantastical, unrealistic, weirdest shit (it's a north american thing).
don't let alfred get too comfortable with his darling, he might just try and get them to re enact his daydreams. suppose there's no avoiding him becoming that comfortable around this darling - as soon as he has them within his clutches, he feels no need to keep any sort of mask up, he wants to be as free and open with his darling as possible, so he expects the same from the

If Alfred really reflect real United States. He would be a cold blooded sadistic man who thinks bomb, nuke, threats, murdering children solves everything framing Russian and Arabs as enemies in his stories. Then show crocodile tears when other countries fight him back. An overgrown baby who lacks of humanity and filled with narcissism and stupidity.
I mean the actual country is An utterly selfish man who abuses his veto rights and whines when things don't go to his will. This will reflect him well.
This is suitable for his 2p, but apparently we aren't from alternate universe.
Go read about real US done to Middle East, please.

What your favourite Hetalia character says about you this is light hearted
Italy- you're basic
Romano - you're basic but you think you're not. You kin him
Germany- you probably have some unresolved issues
America - you are American and have never bothered to look at a map. Or you like your version of America that is ooc
England - I will never understand you
Canada - people ignored you in school
France - you're horny as fuck
China - you are either Chinese or have studied Chinese history or like wuxia. You get annoyed when Canada is subbed in for China when China is far more interesting of a character
Japan - like Japan you're chill to the point where I don't even see you.
Lithuania - I don't want to know the fuck happened to you in your life to find him relatable
Poland - jesteś polakiem
Nordics - there's something off about you but in that way that there is something off about every Mormon I've ever met.
Prussia - you either think he's cool or you just want to ship your other fave with him. You probably like military history but don't want to look like a Nazi. Or you're polish and hate how Polish Prussian history is overlooked in the fandom despite Prussia literally almost decapitating Poland in the show.
Russia - you like the Cold war. You probably have a bunch of weird history memes saved on the phone.
Hungary - you like shipping. Idk I don't usually see anyone with her as their top character.
Austria - you are jewish. Or you are into western European history.
Netherlands - you are either Indonesian or also a Canada fan
Türkiye: you know it's the closest hima will get to ever depicting the middle east, central asia, west asia, and North Africa so you take it.
Micronations - you like Hetalia but don't like history.
Yugotalia: you're here for memes not political correctness.
Portugal : simply a stepping stone to the character that really matters... BRASIL!!!!!!! CAMPEÃO DO MUNDO!!!!!!!!!
...Or you're weird and like either Spain or England
Sorry if I don't have everyone I don't interact with enough people to really know some of the characters.

Hetalia Human Names
NOTE: This is my personal interpretation and the names may diverge from canon and established fanon. Also I might update this every so often to make it more accurate, depending on the information I find.
Table of Contents
The Main Characters
Western Europe
Northern Europe
Eastern Europe
Southern Europe
Western Asia
South Asia
East Asia
Southeast Asia
Oceania
Micronations
Former nations
The Main Characters
Italy Veneziano: Feliciano Vergano
I chose the name Vergano instead as it keeps the essense of the original surname, but is actually Italian.
Italy Romano: Lovino Vergano
Germany: Ludwig Beilschmidt
Japan: Kiku Honda
Prussia: Gilbert Beilschmidt
America: Alfred Franklin Jones
I like the headcanon of his middle name being "Freedom", but Franklin is my personal favourite.
England: Arthur James Kirkland
I came across this in a fic a while back and never looked back. This man needs a middle name.
France: Francis Bonnefoy
Russia: Ivan Braginsky
China: Yao Wang
Canada: Matthew Williams
Western Europe
Austria: Roderich Edelstein
Belgium: Laura Janssens
Liechtenstein: Erika Vogel
Luxembourg: Henri Janssens
I've also used the name Gabriel before, but it doesn't seem to be used much in Luxembourg, so Henri would be more fitting.
Monaco: Louise Bonnefoy
The name Louise and it's masculine variant, Louis, appear a few times in the Monaguesque royal family.
Netherlands: Willem Janssens
Willem appears a few times in the Dutch royal family, and it sounds a bit older than other suggested names, which reflects his age and general vibes imo. I really like this name.
Switzerland: Sebastian Zwingli
Personally I see his name "Basch" as a nickname for Sebastian. It's also easy to adapt to his official languages: Sebastian/Sébastién/Sebastiano. The Romansh variant would be Bistgaun, but the archaic version seems to be Bastgaun, which is more similar to Basch. I headcanon that he goes by the name "Basch" in all languages to make it more cohesive.
Northern Europe
Denmark: Mathias Rasmussen
I'm from Scandinavia myself and I don't know if it's widespread, but I've heard people say "all Danish people are named Rasmus" more than once, so I like to incorporate that into his surname.
Estonia: Eduard Kaasik
Around 50% of Estonia is covered in forest, and one of the most common tree types is birch. Kaasik is a common surname and means "birch forest".
Finland: Timo Väinämöinen
Iceland: Eiríkur Steinsson
Steinsson means "son of Stein (given name meaning stone)",. Also Emil isn't traditionally Icelandic, but it's widely used. Personally though, I prefer the name Eiríkur.
Latvia: Raivis Bērziņš
The surname Galante corresponds with the modern Latvian opera singer Inese Galante, but I couldn't find anything to suggest it's commonly used or that it's Latvian at all. Bērziņš is one of the most used Latvian surnames and means "birch tree", like Estonia's surname. Personally, I don't see the Baltics as siblings, but I think this would be a cute reference.
Also, based on what I read, surnames became common in Latvia around the 19th century, with Bērziņš being one of them. Latvia could have picked up whatever the people around him (Estonia) was using and made it his own.
Lithuania: Tolys Laurinaitis
Norway: Sigurd Bondevik
Sweden: Berwald Oxenstierna
Eastern Europe
Belarus: Natalya Arlovskaya
Bulgaria: Mihail Petrov Isporov
Isporov is the family name and is derived from an alternative name of Asparukh, the first king of the First Bulgarian Empire.
Czech: Tereza Novakova
Hungary: Erzsébet Héderváry
Moldova: Marcel Popescu
Poland: Feliks Łukasiewicz
Romania: Vladislav Popescu
Slovakia: Jozef Novak
Ukraine: Iryna Chernenko
Southern Europe
Greece: Herakles Karpusi
Portugal: João Silva Ferreira
Spain: Antonio Fernandez Carriedo
Western Asia
Cyprus: Stasinos Karpusi
Stasinos was one of the first European poets who wrote the epic poem Cypria.
Turkey: Sadiq Adnan
TRNC: Tarkan Adnan
South Asia
India: Rajesh Thakur
East Asia
Hong Kong: Leon Wang / Wong Kulung
Macau: Chen Wang
South Korea: Im Yong-soo
Taiwan: Mei Lin
Southeast Asia
Thailand: Prasert Chakri
Vietnam: Lien Nguyen
Africa
Cameroon: Emmanuel Mawdo Ahidjo
Many of the most commonly used forenames in Cameroon are of French or English origins, such as Emmanuel.
Mawdo means ‘elder’ in Fulfulde.
Ahidjo refers to the first president of Cameroon.
Egypt: Gupta Muhammad Hassan
Seychelles: Michelle Mancham
Americas
Cuba: Carlos Machado Rodríguez
Oceania
Australia: Daniel Kirkland
New Zealand: Zachary Kirkland
Micronations
Hutt River: Christopher Kirkland
Kugelmugel: Leopold Edelstein
Ladonia: Erland Oxenstierna
Molossia: Jacob Jones
"JJ" :)
Sealand: Peter Kirkland
Seborga: Romeo Vergano
Okay listen. I have no explaination, I just really like this name. Also, if the names of the trio is Peter, Wendy, and Romeo, they're all named after characters from literature. I think that's fun.
Wy: Wendy Kirkland
Former Nations
Ancient Egypt: Neferure
References the only biological child of Hatshepsut.
Ancient Greece: Helene
Ancient Rome: Marcus Valerius Maximus
Marcus is the praenomina (given name) and refers to how Romulus and Remus were said to have been twins of Mars, the god.
Valerius is the nomen gentilicium (hereditary name) and means “to be strong”.
Maximus is the cognomen and means “the greatest”.
Germania: Alaric
Holy Roman Empire: Otto Beilschmidt
Personally I like the idea that HRE and Germany aren't the same person, but share the same body.

Do you think the ship Belarus x Lituania is acurate?
Like, romantically and/or sexually? Absolutely not.
Let's pretend hetalia does not exist and review some moments from the real world:
In the Middle Ages, the native Lietuvos žemė was more deviated to the East, including the modern north part of Belarus. Due to hundreds of years of geopolitics, modern Lithuania has a bit of Aukštaitija and Dzūkija from the Middle Ages and Samogitia. Samogitia was a separate and independent state until the genocide by Teutons. During Commonwealth, either russia (most likely) or Poland invented the name "Belarus" and overall slavicized it, reasons unknown. Then, the russian empire continued slavicization of Belarus (Gudija) via active genocide of its people of the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and that's how both indigenous Belaruthian territory (including Smalensk region) and the former Lietuvos territory became slavic. Thus, Lietuviai had to flee to Samogitian land - and Belarus got more northern territories to itself. N.B. At these times, the relationship between Belarus and Lithuania was still pretty warm because of GDL.
It's important to understand because modern Belarus claims that Lithuania stole its history and true Lithuanians are actually Samogitians, and modern Lithuania claims that Belarus stole its history. None of them are right, I believe, from the outsider point of view. Belarus is not right because Samogitia has its own language, which is often not understandable by Lithuanians, and in Lithuania, Samogitia has a relatively independent status. Thus, all Samogitians are Lithuanians, but not all Lithuanians are Samogitians. Lithuania is not right because Belarus was an important cultural and scientific engine in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, it was the centre for all decisions and an important backup for Lietuva and Ukraine.
Lithuania and Belarus worked together not because one was genociding the other, not because one imposed their history and ideals on another but because both of them suffered from "friendly" neighbours. When the grief came from West, Lithuanians and other baltics fled to Belarus when the grief came from the East - vice versa. When the grief was coming from both sides simultaneously, they united and invited Ukraine because Ukraine is strong.
Lithuania and Belarus have a LOT of claims to each other, and overall, call each other lame af. From my perception as Ukrainian, both these nations share the same life values, same morals, same mentality, same humour, same mythology, same obsession with cleanliness, order and education, same preference in food, music, clothes, hell, they even share same Jews - a lot of stuff. In fact, I don't understand how scientific minds call Belarus Slavic if it's in most ways Baltic. Belaruthians are way too different from Ukrainians, Poles, russians, Czech, and other slavs.
A sort of Witch Hunt is currently taking place in Lithuania against Belaruthians, and this is russia's fault (who could have thought). Maybe even Poland participates in it because they benefit from it really much. It's not a rare case when a Lithuanian calls Belaruthians "white russians", unfortunately. After all, a lot of Belaruthians were murdered and replaced by russians with "Belorussian" passports. If I was responsible for the Lithuanian government, I'd pay 10 euros to a couple of citizens of Smalensk (currently Smolensk) for them painting "Smalensk is Lithuania, 1368 možem pavtarić" all over russia. Let them be nervous and afraid, lol. Anyway, politics is a dirty and unfair thing.
Both Belarus and Lithuania perceive Vilnius as their own kid. It's important to notice that Belarus doesn't want to capture Vilnius because half of Belarus already lives there in exile because of Lukashenko's regime. And they don't want russia in Vilnius. Lithuania still holds a grudge on Belarus for 1990 invasion, though.
Both Lithuanians and Belaruthians are kind and generous people who help others when they ask for help. Belaruthians are way more depressive, for understandable reasons.
As you can see, their history and relationship are pretty complicated. Thus, I extremely dislike their portrayal by Hidekaz Himaruya.
According to reality, Lithuania and Belarus are rather siblings who have chosen different paths and don't approve it. They're close relatives, and close relatives can't fall in love with each other. They don't really hate each other, but they are also not in awe of each other. They often mock each other, but they don’t refuse to help each other when things are bad. They both hate to admit that, but they often have the same opinions on things. As a Ukrainian, I always feel extremely awkward when Lithuanians and Belaruthians start to sort things out, like I'm witnessing a family quarrel and I'm not supposed to be here.
In the Middle Ages, Liet and Gudija/Belarus concluded a fictitious marriage to receive funding from Christian countries like Vatican, who "approve only the Holy Union of The Man and The Woman", while keeping staying pagan&gay and resisting genocide from Teutons. Later, Liet met Ruthenia, fell in love, married her, built a cottage in Odesa, and quickly annulled the marriage with Belarus according to the old pagan tradition of divorce. He married before the divorce because the Church would have imposed sanctions on him for non-compliance with Christian standards otherwise, and he would not be able to fight both Teutons and Golden Horde then. In those days, polygamy was still technically legal, and since the marriage was the only way to stabilize your "legalization" in the eyes of the axis powers of those times, Liet's personal documentation was quite... messy. However, he is monogamous and believes in true love, just like Belarus, so the documents did not quite correspond to reality. In conclusion, he's an expert in fictitious marriages and forgery of documents.
From the Vilnius perspective, Lithuania and Belarus are like divorced parents who can't stand each other but love their kid and constantly argue over who loves Vilnius more. Due to Lukashenko's regime, Belarus is now Lithuania's flatmate.

i think hima left For the interpretation. But since he looks bigger than England and looks quite near age people usually make him on if the Frankish and Francia too. He's probably western France when the country was divided in three since the middle was quickly swallowed and the western was the part that stayed more or less unchanged through time. I do think his mother died and only then he got to live but I've seen people write him as if he was born much later.
does it change much if he's the son of Frankish though? Wait did he kill his brothers?
I am in no way a French historian - especially mediaeval France. But I know France is a bitch to 'date' because the concept of Frenchness covers a very small area of what's now France, at least until about Napoleon's time.
I agree however! I genuinely think that Charlemagne's empire was its own thing and the splinter into the three Francia's is what sprouted the France, HRE and... assorted dukedoms which eventually got swallowed up by the other two.
I had a draft post where I was desperately vomiting out my issues with carbon dating Francis because he is meant to be older than England but if you say Francis is France and not (West) Francia then Arthur has a good fifty years on him in age right? 927 for Aethelstan versus 987 for the start of the Capetians. Like I'm fairly certain Burgundy, Brittany etc. will have had to have had their own little nations running around. Normandy is also very likely. I know enough about French history to know that for much of the middle ages huge amounts of power lay with the Dukes who swore loyalty to the King of the Franks but that title of King could really be in name only at times etc....
I'm still trying to iron it out. If Francis is older than Arthur... he has to be West Francia. Right? If Gilbert can change who he actually is four times why can't Francis?
It then just makes me go down rabbit holes of 'hey okay wait a second how old is England then', because the concept of English is substantially older than the idea of French.
I'm trying to apply logic to a world system where - just as in real life - the ideology of a nation state is just... not functional (or at least deeply deeply flawed). It's especially not functional as a political unit to make a personification of in 10th century France.
I bet Francis did absolutely knock off the dukedoms one by one if given the chance. Like it took him like 1000 years but he eventually did it with East Francia/HRE too. I'd say more more about Burgundy/Lotharingia/Savoy/Aquitaine but honestly I don't bloody know how the French state functioned until the Bourbons took over. Still, let's say that, if Picardy exists (and is not a gag throw away character which he may well be) and yet Brittany doesn't I will be... very baffled.
I'll stop now. I'm really not knowledgeable in French history to try and iron this out. Also consistency in Hetalia is a losing battle. I know that. Logically. Cough cough.

HWS Poland during the partitions: the full timeline (1795-1918) [1]
...but it will take a long time to write, so I will divide the infodump into parts. Haha, divide into parts, get it?? Because Polan–
<concering muffled noises>
...this part contains the following topics:
[1.1] Why offing Poland during the partitions is a terrible move [an essay-flavoured rant]
[1.2] What I'm going for in shaping my hetalia universe [a short boring disclaimer]
[1.3] TL;DR Feliks' timeline 1795-1918 [because I'm not a clickbait type]
The actual essays [nessays?] detailing the events and providing contexts and sources will come later, and hell am I excited for it.
[1.1] An introduction
I’ve been sitting on it for almost 10 years at this point, which is a lot of time to sacrifice to a fictional character’s fictional biography. And I’m speaking about 123 years of Poland’s geographical non-existence, which even my fellow Polish fanfiction writers often skip by unaliving him and only letting him resurrect in 1918 after regaining independence, with cool phoenix metaphors and a jazzy remix of *Poland is not lost yet*.
It's not that I hate this concept utterly, because I have even attempted to write a fic just like that once. I couldn’t resist the picture of Poland, the snobby, aristocratic, moustached, hot-headed peasant-owner from the end of the 18th century, suddenly waking up in the middle of barely-post-WW1 turmoil, with the world having changed SO MUCH since the times he last remembers that he’s like a caveman released from a block of ice in the middle of modern-day New York. Oh, yeah, and his job is to rebuild a country which he lost- wait, he losT FOR HOW LONG???
Yeah, I like the idea. It would be a fascinating comedy plot. But let’s be realistic. The clue of all my rambling is, Poland just before the partitions and just after the partitions are two completely different people, but there’s a road between them, a story of Feliks changing drastically over the 123 years, a story which is absolutely delightful, emotional, hilarious, and honestly the director of The World should get an award for it, because oh boy does Feliks’ character arc HIT HARD. (And I’m not the director here. I’m the film editor, at best. Just choosing the best scenes to bring to light based on a personal whim.)
[1.2] A disclaimer
My hetalia universe works on my own custom-made rules. I only touch canon when convenient, otherwise ignoring it completely. My rule of thumb is to make the concept of personifications as realistic as possible and to bring the “Ness Cinematic Universe” as close to a normal history textbook as possible [some people are just built different, like and subscribe if your goal is to write a history textbook of a fic too!]. I strive for historical accuracy here – but the Rule of Cool takes priority when needed, because I also strive for whatever my heart desires. All my stuff are of the “public hetalia” variety unless stated otherwise. It means the personifications and their identity are usually public knowledge and their existence is a natural phenomenon in-universe.
[1.3] HWS Poland's 19th century timeline: TL;DR
(i'm about to elaborate on each point from this list in my future posts.)
1795 – the third partition. According to their earlier agreement, Russia takes Lithuania east and Prussia takes Poland west.
1796 – Poland moves through Saxony to France… 1797 – ...and from France to Italy, where the famous Polish legions in Italy are starting to form.
1797-1814 – Poland’s Great Napoleonic Adventure :) [to be elaborated on]
1815 – the previous agreements between the partitioning sides get nullified at the congress of Vienna. Feliks has no other way but to agree on a personal union with Russia under certain conditions.
1815-1830 – he then lives a mildly peaceful life in Warsaw, but the conditions aren’t met and the tsar’s brother is unbearable.
1830-31 – Feliks revolts in Warsaw.
1831-37 – prison time (Schliesselburg fortress, Russia)
1838-1848 – Poland’s Great Emigration :) (his mental health rapidly decreasing, he moves to live in France and travels here and there around western Europe. You can insert your ship content here, though.)
1848 – Feliks revolts in Germany.
1848-1849 – Feliks revolts in Hungary.
1849-185X – prison time (Spielberg castle, Austria [nowadays Czech])
185X – 1861 – passed from Austria to Russia, he once again accepts an offer to sit calmly in Warsaw and try not to break anything. [the plot of BSA the fic happens here – for those who know :) you can also use this time for your ship content.]
1861-1863 – mildly chaos with occassional patches of prison time (Warsaw Citadel)
1863-64 – Feliks revolts in Warsaw.
1864-1866 – Poland’s Not So Great Exile To Siberia :)
1866 – Feliks revolts in Siberia.
1867-1890 – a free time slot. Show your OTP some love here. Personally I want to see him in Austria-Hungary, Prussia works too. So does going west and crying into France’s sleeve. So does prison time in Irkutsk, Siberia. Let him have a trip to China. Or Australia. Do your worst.
1891-190X – I’d love to see him in Russia around here, though, in Petersburg. At least when he’s not running wild and committing crimes.
190X-1914 – I’m currently reworking this section. The old version had him start WW1 in Prussia, in the Prussian army, then switch to the Russian side. The new one will probably have him do the exact opposite, so he’d be starting in Russian.
1914-16 – not like it matters, because he manages to fight for all the three occupants’ armies (until they notice he's jumping sides and...
1916-1918 – ...have him sit on his ass till the end of the war).
1918 – he finds his people eventually, or they find him. And the real fight starts now. :)
...see you in the next nessay, which will probably be all about the three acts of partitions and making an attempt to paint a picture of Feliks the moment his country collapses? We'll answer cool questions like:
"should the partitions be blamed on Feliks or is he helpless about his people's stupid decisions",
"was the canon partitions scene with Poland laying in the snow actually the battle of Maciejowice (1794)",
"is Austria the kind one, because you know, Hungary likes Poland"
"yeah but how can we make it pruspol" And more! Maybe I'll even add a picture to the wall of text. As a treat.

Another returning/veteran fan? I discovered Hetalia and got really into it during the same years as you did, although I was only lurking and not creating any content. Well, almost. I was most interested in Hetalia from 2012-2015, then until Season 7 was released I would only look at Hetalia occasionally. My favorite characters were and still are the Nordics, so I was deep into fanon and shipping back then (the canon Nordics really suck). When I returned in 2022 though, my interest in Hetalia changed to focus on the real countries and cultures instead of the canon Hetalia content.
What about you? What drew you in to Hetalia at first? Who were your favorite characters then and now? Have the elements of Hetalia that interest you changed since you joined the fandom? Do you have any funny or cringe memories of the old fandom?
Hey! Nice to see another returning/veteran fan!
I was also more or less just lurking around back in the day, not creating any content. But I definitely loved perusing around all the fan-content I found interesting. Which, seeing how big the fandom was back in the day, was never in short supply. I wasn't super deep into shipping (though I did have a few ships I enjoyed), but I absolutely got invested in fanon, to the point where I even confused some fanon elements to be canon for the longest time (like the fanon version of Scotland lol).
Returning to the fandom has been interesting, in that I still indulge in a little bit of fanon I suppose, but I'm also just having fun looking at everything through the modern day lens, especially now that I'm more invested in current world events.
I was first introduced to Hetalia by a couple of friends at school who were into the show. But what really sucked me in was not only the comedy, but the fact that I was already very interested in world history, and Hetalia gave me a new way to look at it (if not always the most accurate). As a result I got deeply invested in the historical side of the fandom. I was petty into the fanon, 2p!s, creepypastas, and Hetaoni as well... But holy crap the historical side of the fandom had a chokehold on me (still kinda does, tbh).
I think I've become more and more interested in thinking about how the characters would react to current world events, especially with the conflicts arising in places like Europe and the Middle East, with the threat of war in Asia arising as well. I know this may sound unsettling, but it is intersting to me as an adult that's gotten much more invested in looking at/analyzing world politics and conflicts.
My favorite characters are Romano, Prussia, America, Denmark, Norway, Italy, 2p!Canada, 2p!France, and 2p!Prussia.
And as for funny/cringe memories of the old fandom? Not a ton. I was really good about not really socializing with other people online back in the day, so I didn't know about a lot of the messed up crap some of the fans were getting into and doing.
Though I was the kid running around her middle school hallways singing and calling out "PASTA~!" throughout seventh grade so... Yeah, the cringe in my Hetalia past was me.
There's so much I wanted to write here, but I think I'll save some of those for future posts. There really is so much to talk about.

this is such a weird specific thing but in middle school i was into hetalia and watched dubs of fancomics in youtube and there was one where canada (he/him) and ukraine (she/her), who canonically had huuuge honkers, are talking and she some mishap and he says to her "tits okay you did your breast" and i just think about that every so often to myself. cause i have big boobs and i do my b(r)east.

boring answer but i am very very very into history. like... that is going to be my life's work. it's always been something i've been fascinated with - my bachelors is in history, and i'm currently working towards getting my masters in archives & public history!! i'm incredibly interested in modern american poitical history and foreign affairs, the impacts of colonialism and imperialism, and oreintalism in english speaking spaces regarding the muslim middle east. plenty of thoughts......
less boring answer: in terms of fandom things i'm currently veryyy into death note and one punch man. i used to be really into harry potter but jkr's terfism has driven me away LOL. i'm a big austen and brontë sisters fan, and recently my sister got me reallyyyyy into baldurs gate 3. back in the good old days (like 2008-2012) was when i started getting into like. fandom spaces fr? and reading fics and such, and the things that had me discovering that part of the internet was like. unfortunately harry potter. + black butler and. hetalia. sorry for speaking it's name in 2023.
