A peculiar question, but one with weigh comes your way,
If your ocs had to make sandwiches how would they make them? And what beverages would they accompany it with?
(And by ocs I mean either all of them or whoever you are thinking of the most right now, the ones that you really want to talk about)
Ohoho what a question, friendo!
Yuu, AT!Sara and OM!Sara - egg mayonnaise + cactus tea
Estelle (my other Arcana Twilight OC I never talk about 😬) - cheese. Just straight up cheese. Not even grilled. + milk
Rory - honey + hot tea
Robin - cheese and ham + water
Envy - grilled cheese + any soda pop
Auriel - believes hot dogs are a sandwich + hot chocolate
Raegan and Virgil - some nasty Devildom stuff I can't come up with + some nasty Devildom drink I can't come up with
Eden - Nutella + orange juice
And now, this is how I introduce my other Twisted Wonderland OCs! Behold!
Bengal Raaja - any meat tbh + water
Rose Prawne - can't have sandwiches underwater :(
Otel L'Ara - potato chips + cola
Ivory Chrome - those fancy pants mini sandwiches for tea parties and stuff + tea (but fancy)
Medwyn Gorgon - tuna + energy drink
Morgan Mimosa - he's a weirdo and puts sliced fruit in his sandwiches + fruit juice
I'm feeling generous so here a few more never before seen OCs
Lily Lester - those fancy pants mini sandwiches for tea parties and stuff + tea (but british)
Miyuki Kiryuu - idk did early 1900s japan have sandwiches?
Erin - cream cheese + apple juice
Riley - bread and butter + tea
BONUS
Thalara - not sure if ancient Greece had sandwiches, but sometimes she likes to eat bread and cheese at the same time :)
#not me dropping a dozen OCs with no context#guess who my twst ocs are based on#*cracks knuckles*#now to tag them all#yuu (twisted wonderland)#sara (arcana twilight)#sara (obey me!)#estelle (arcana twilight)#rory (blood in roses)#robin (blood in roses)#raegan (obey me!)#virgil (obey me!)#eden (obey me!)#envy (obey me!)#auriel (obey me!)#bengal raaja (twisted wonderland)#rose prawne (twisted wonderland)#otel l'ara (twisted wonderland)#ivory chrome (twisted wonderland)#medwyn gorgon (twisted wonderland)#morgan mimosa (twisted wonderland)#lily lester (ayakashi: romance reborn)#miyuki kiryuu (ayakashi: romance reborn)#erin (a villain's twisted heart)#riley (blood moon calling)#thalara (epic: the musical)#ocs be upon ye#my post#i cant tag all the games theyre from because im out of tags :/#answering asks

In 2011, ISIS fighters in Syria marked Christians’ houses with a cross. They abducted, killed and tortured Christians. Raaja and Samia’s husbands were murdered. Six adult men in their family were killed. Pray for widows processing the nightmares they experienced from ISIS.

Translation
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, whose lotus feet are revered by Lord Indra, king of the devas; who has a snake as his sacrificial thread, a moon on his head and is very compassionate; who is praised by Narada, sage of the gods, and other yogis; who is a Digambara, wearing the sky as his dress, symbolizing his free being.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, who has the brilliance of a million suns, who saves devotees from the cycle of rebirths, and who is supreme; who has a blue throat, who grants us our desires, and who has three eyes; who is death unto death itself and whose eyes look like a lotus; whose trident supports the world and who is immortal.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, who holds the trident, mattock, noose, and club in his hands; whose body is dark, who is the primordial Lord, who is immortal, and free from the diseases of the world; who is immensely mighty and who loves the wonderful tandava dance.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, the one who bestows both desires and salvation, who has a pleasing appearance; who is loving to his devotees, who is stable as the god of all the worlds; who wears a golden belt around his waist with bells that make a melodious sound when he moves.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, who ensures that dharma (righteousness) prevails, who destroys the path of adharma (unrighteousness); who saves us from the bonds of karma, thereby freeing our soul; and who has golden-hued snakes entwined around his body.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, whose feet are adorned with two golden sandals with gems; who is the eternal, non-dual Ishta devata (god who grants our desires); who destroys the pride of Yama (God of Death); whose terrible teeth liberate us.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, whose loud roar destroys the sheaths of creations (meaning the delusions of our mind) of the lotus-born Brahma; whose very glance is enough to destroy all our sins; who gives us the eight siddhis (accomplishments); and who wears a garland of skulls.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi, who is the leader of ghosts and goblins, who bestows glory; who frees the people of Kashi from their sinful and righteous deeds; who guides us on the path of righteousness, who is the most ancient (eternal) lord of the universe.
Salutations to Lord Kalabhairava, the supreme lord of Kashi. Those who read these eight verses of the Kalabhairava Ashtakam, which is beautiful, which is a source of knowledge and liberation, which increases the various forms of righteousness in a person, which destroys grief, attachment, poverty, greed, anger, and heat – will attain (after death) the feet of Lord Kalabhairava.
- Kaalbhairav Ashtakam by Adi Shankaracharya

Week 11 Blog
This week I read pages 200-260 of the book “Girls of Riyadh” by Raaja Alsanea…
The most important sentence would have to be on page 228,“In a few minutes the dawn call to prayer will echo through the city of Riyadh.” This is an important sentence in the book because it’s the start of a letter that Sadeem wrote to Firas before she was off to Khobar. This is a sentence that stuck with me the most because it shows the reader how heartbroken Sadeem was to move on and how she’s coping with loss. She explains how she was at a wedding party and all she could think about was him. When she danced to the song that said “I love you even if you love another and forget me and say far away because my heart’s only wish is to see you happy, every day.” This is what pushed her to write the letter to him. She felt so alone with so many people surrounding her due to heartbreak.
When reading this, I felt incredibly sick to my stomach. I knew what it was like to lose someone you love and the feeling of being alone in a crowded space with your friends and family is a different level of loneliness. Sadeem planned on starting a business, she was thinking of being a wedding and party planner so I hope she can focus more on that than her loss. Sadeem still has a lot of growing to do. She claimed in the letter that she hates that she still loves him despite everything. She’d say “I love you, my love who I HATE” and “God not forgive you…” it’s heartbreaking for me to read that. I empathize with her a little too much. The book is almost finished and I hope throughout the last few chapters Sadeem is able to find herself again.

January 2023: 1 of 12 mixtapes connecting the music of my childhood (Tamil pop) and the music that influenced me (sinophone indie) to the music of my new home (The Netherlands). This month: Ilaiyaraaja to Space Fruity Records, via Charlotte Adigéry and boba dream pop.
Track-by-track notes: 1. Ilaiyaraaja - Raaja Rajathi (1988) (from 'Agni Natchathiram') This song - from a 1988 Mani Ratnam film - was a childhood favourite, and maybe even seeded my future love for minimal post-punk?
2. 昏鴉 The Murky Crows - 我們如此超群絕倫怎能居於世俗所見 (2015) One of the first Taiwanese bands I adored, and my introduction to the branch of twee sinophone indie that would define my life between 2015 and 2020. 3. Ilaiyaraaja - Vikram Vikram (1986) I only discovered this classic thanks to the recent remake of the cult 80s Kamal Hasan spy film Vikram, but I was familiar with the writer Sujatha, whose works were serialized in magazines like Kumutham. My literary magazine of choice between ages 7 and 13 was Gokulam, where I submitted many terrible sci-fi short stories that were thankfully never published. Does anyone remember the Undir family stories? 4. Stereolab - Metronomic Underground (1996) Stereolab was the first band that got me into live bootlegs, rarities, B-sides, and "sessions" recordings, now a standard part of how I consume music. 5. METZ - Wet Blanket (2012) METZ was the first band I did a tour poster for! 6. Charlotte Adigery and Bolis Pupul - Ceci N'est Pas un Cliche (2022) Belgian duo. The best, most joyous, and most exciting concert I saw in the Netherlands since moving to Amsterdam in 2022. 7. Gino Cochise - Fo Woa (2022) Amsterdam hip-hop artist. The artist I most want to see live in the Netherlands in 2023. 8. Chaar Diwaari - Kaun Mera? (2022) I get excited by an average of 1 (one) Indian hip-hop song every year. This was the one for 2022. 9. Naujawanan Baidar - Khyber Sound (from Kabul to Peshawar in Fullmoon) (2020) From an incredible album of anti-imperialist Afghan-rooted experimental music, from the now Netherlands-based N.R. Safi. 10. bed - WET (2022) I saw bed play at the back of the Foo Concepts milk tea shop in Rotterdam, the crowd sipping boba and swaying to dream pop. A perfect gig. Normalize milk tea at shows! Normalize shows at milk tea shops!
11. Ts Bayandalai - 灰色公马 (2020) Seeing Bayandalai play live was always a transcendent experience, and this is the album that makes me miss Beijing the most.
