Ok so, a little post based on the concept of RJ and Pharah staying at Cassidy's house when he finally gets to live on his own, it's also based off of Let Me Explain Studios running away video because you cannot tell me RJ wouldn't have kid Rebecca vibes.

(Also for more context I HC Gabe's kid as being named Reuben J. Reyes (R.J. and Reu for short), cause the Dev's refuse to give him a name)

*Fareeha entering Cassidy's house after helping pick up Reuben from the airport since Reyes and Martina needed to do something and they knew Cass would be home soon. Sitting down and relaxing for a bit until she sees Reuben get a paper and pen, sit at a table and start writing something with an evil grin on his face* Fareeha: *walking over and looking over R.J's shoulder* What are you doing? R.J: *quickly trying to hide the note* Nothing- Fareeha: Is...is that a running away note? R.J: ...yes... Fareeha: Why? R.J: I wanted to prank Cole with it Fareeha: ...Well you got to make it believable, let me have a look at it! R.J: Oh hell yeah! *Later Cassidy arrives home, Reuben hides and Pharah takes her station on the couch. Cassidy goes to place his things down in his room and notices the note on his pillow, he reads it, rolls his eyes, and goes to the bathroom* Fareeha: *hears the toilet flush and is confused as to why Cassidy hasn't asked her any questions yet* What the.... R.J: *also hearing this and coming out of his hiding place* Did he read the note? *Fareeha and Reuben both go to the bathroom to see Cass calmly washing his hands* Fareeha: Cole, did you read the letter? Cassidy: Yep Fareeha: Weren't you going to go out and look for him? Cassidy: Oh well I though he's come back when he got hungry Fareeha and R.J: *stunned silence* R.J: What the hell! Fareeha: Oh the care and concern I feel from you right now is immeasurable Cole. Can't wait to tell mum about this *Cassidy then stops drying his hands and quickly pulls out his phone, evil grin on his face. Concerning Fareeha and R.J* Fareeha: Cole, what are you doing? Cassidy: Messaging our mums R.J: Wait we're not in trouble are we?! Cassidy: No, just sending them a warning Fareeha: Why? Cassidy: *evil grin widening* Gabe is going to get here soon Fareeha: Oh my god- R.J: Cole your the best! *They hear Gabe drive up and all of them get into postition. Gabe gets to Cole's house and enters only to be met with a panicked looking Cassidy* Cassidy: Reyes! Oh fuck- I found this letter on my pillow! I think Reu ran away! Gabriel: What?! Cassidy: *hands him the letter* Yes, look! Gabriel: What did you do?! Did you say something to him?! Cassidy: *actually kind of offended* No I did not! Gabriel: Fareeha! Have you seen Reuben?! Fareeha: No he walked here ahead of me, I haven't seen him Gabriel: Oh fuck, shit- We need to go out looking for him! He can't be left alone in fucking, Egypt- Oh Martina is going to kill me- You two call your parents we're going to need all hands on deck, I'm gonna go to the bathroom and then we'll go out looking for her. *Gabe rushes off to the bathroom while Cassidy and Fareeha share a look and try not to loose their shot laughing.* Gabriel: *enters the bathroom and sees the very obvious outline of Reuben hiding in the shower* Oh you've got to be kidding me... R.J: *crouched down and giggling to himself* Gabriel: *opens the shower door* REUBEN J. REYES WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! R.J: *screams* Cassidy and Fareeha: *quickly rushing in laughing hysterically* Gabriel: Oh you- Just three just wait until your mothers hear about this! Ana and Martina: *entering the house* Did you get him?! Cassidy: YES! Gabriel: Are you fucking kidding me-

Meet my interpretation of Reaper's kid, R.J. Reyes. I tried basing his outfit off of both Reaper and Cassidy while his face and hair I based off of a mix of Gabe and Martina.

So, am I cooking or will I get cooked?

I can totally see the inspo for Martina too we don't see a lot of her. would be pretty cool if u put some dark greens on this kid since he's depicted with one in that one panel.

summer films ‘18

hi there! to clarify, this is a log of films i’ve seen this summer, not exactly films set in the summer, so if you’re here for that, i’m sorry?

anyway, here we go!

1. kasal (2018) / dir. ruel s. bayani ♡ 180525 ♡ girl is engaged to the son of cebu’s current mayor who is currently preparing for elections, but her ex comes back and tries to win her back ♡ cliche, i know, but trust me, this movie deals with this plotline in a very interesting way ♡ and come on, it’s bea alonzo and paulo avelino, two icons 2. high school musical (2006) / dir. kenny ortega ♡ 180614 ♡ iconic, i love troy bolton, thanks for reminding me ♡ i know sharpay isn’t that bad but she’s still a bully lol ♡ the choreography for when there was me and you got me dying i love it ♡  fave song: stick to the status quo 3. high school musical 2 (2007) / dir. kenny ortega ♡ 180622 ♡ my least favorite in the trilogy ♡ there was so much unnecessary drama they should’ve cut troy some slack ♡ i hate chad danforth, that’s all ♡ fave song: you are the music in me 4. high school musical 3: senior year (2008) / dir. kenny ortega ♡ 180622 ♡ my favorite in the trilogy! ♡ i still hate chad tho lol but i love taylor so much she’s my favorite character! ♡ i wish they elaborated more on gabriella though, because i like to imagine an alternate ending where she declines stanford and stays in albuquerque for another year which disappoints everyone and puts a strain on her relationship with troy. that would’ve been so interesting! ♡ fave song: i love all of them, but if i had to choose, the boys are back 5. kimmy dora 2: the temple of kiyeme (2009) / dir. joyce bernal ♡ 180626 ♡ the only reason i watched this was because i had a terrible pimple on my forehead and it reminded me of some horror movie then i realized it was this so i had to look for the particular scene ♡ the movie was really bad, as expected ♡ but i absolutely love eugene domingo!! she’s so talented i really admire her as an actress

6. before sunrise (1995) / dir. richard linklater ♡ 180630 ♡ this was the day my internet ultimately stopped working (for four days, if i may add) so i thought hey why not start that movie marathon i’ve been meaning to do ♡ i was excited to watch this because it’s a known pop culture reference, and also because it’s seulgi’s favorite movie ♡ it’s unique! it’s not easy to film a story that revolves around two people who’ve just met walking around in a city neither of them knows ♡ i liked this movie but it wasn’t that spectacular or anything, i think it lacks emotion and excitement ♡ but please, do not get off a train in europe with someone you’ve just met that is dangerous 

7. before sunset (2004) / dir. richard linklater ♡ 180630 ♡  i knew nothing about this so i was actually surprised to see the same actors nine years after before sunrise’s release ♡ i like this better than the first one! céline shows the emotions i was looking for ♡ it’s much simpler and easier to follow because it really is just them walking around and talking to continue the story because of the short amount of time they have together 

8. before midnight (2013) / dir. richard linklater ♡ 180630 ♡ this movie is the reason i watched the series! it was mentioned in it’s okay, that’s love so i thought i needed to watch this, and honestly, it helped me understand the characters from iotl a bit better! ♡ it ended up being my favorite film of the three ♡ it’s more complex than the first two because it introduces more characters and is set in more locations ♡ after years of watching and reading romcoms, this made me believe in love 

9. gone girl (2014) / dir. david fincher ♡ 180701 ♡ i knew nothing about this film except that there was a girl and she was missing and the plot is unexpected? ♡ i won’t say much on this because it’s amazing when you watch it without knowing anything ♡ but it is CRAZY it hecked me up so much wow ♡ will try reading the book when i can!! 10. the grand budapest hotel (2014) / dir. wes anderson ♡ 180701 ♡ my first wes anderson film (finally) ♡ bored me at first because sadly, i can’t relate to rich european men who live in hotels and have sex with elderly women ♡ but it is so much more than that! it’s funny and deals with loyalty, the war, and crap immigrants go through ♡ yes, the cinematography is unique and beautiful, but i couldn’t appreciate it much from years of seeing wes anderson stills on my social media ♡ i went into this without knowing anything about it, but i wish i’d watched the trailer beforehand because that would’ve helped me appreciate it more 11. the fault in our stars (2014) / dir. josh boone ♡ 180702 ♡ i was bored and looking through my sister’s hard drive and i thought hey why not watch sad western teen books-turned-movies i used to glorify years ago ♡ it was alright but knowing every line, song, facial expression that would come next made it worse ♡ john green’s cameo is so awkward it’s almost funny ♡ i hope i never meet an augustus waters in my life 12. if i stay (2014) / dir. r.j. cutler ♡ 180703 ♡ part 2 of sad western teen books-turned-movies i used to glorify ♡ the story is pretty good but the film itself isn’t as good as i remembered ♡ i’m still so in love with jamie blackley after four years he’s so handsome and his voice is beautiful ♡ chloe moretz’s acting is really awkward though it’s almost painful to watch ♡ it made me want to reread the sequel where she went though! 13. she’s dating the gangster (2014) / dir. cathy garcia-molina ♡ 180705 ♡ i started this with an open mind and some expectations because although i hated on it for no reason years ago, i wanted to give it a chance ♡ but i’m sorry it really is bad ♡ kenji delos reyes is manipulative and selfish i hope i never meet a guy like him 14. grave of the fireflies (1988) / dir. isao takahata ♡ 180706 ♡ two siblings in the middle of a war ♡ watched this because a friend wanted to rabbit with me! ♡ i haven’t seen a ghibli film in a while so this was refreshing ♡ really sad though :( 15. 10 things i hate about you (1999) / dir. gil hunger ♡ 180706 ♡ guy is paid to date girl lol ♡ julia stiles is so beautiful :( i love her ♡ pretty funny actually! ♡ also watched this because friends wanted to rabbit with me :> 16. i’m drunk, i love you (2017) / dir. jp habac ♡ 180707 ♡ i finally, finally watched this ♡ not gonna lie it disappointed me? so many people loved it but for me it was eh ♡ paulo avelino’s character was pretty lacking for me, i wish they’d elaborated more on him ♡ but i liked the group dynamic because they’re not the wholesome, fake happy kind of friends, seeing them interact made me feel like they’re people i really know in real life (which made me miss my own friends) ♡ even jasmine’s character felt real because she’s probably someone i’d know HAHA ♡ fun fact: i’ve listened to the song lloydy long before watching this because i mean? a song about john lloyd? sign me up 17. that thing called tadhana (2014) / dir. antoinette jadaone ♡ 180708 ♡ another film i finally watched after multiple pop culture references ♡ i actually kinda liked it! it literally has a spiel about john lloyd of course i do but it gets better when the main characters become comfortable with each other ♡ i find it interesting that the director also directed love you to the stars and back which is another film that revolves around two people, both dealing with stuff, who’d just met and decide to go on a journey together ♡ the characters also feel pretty realistic/relatable once you get to know them 18. the spectacular now (2013) / dir. james ponsoldt ♡ 180709 ♡ part 3 of sad western teen books-turned-movies i used to glorify ♡ the only reason i rewatched this was because it was the shortest of the films i had at the time and i needed something to pass the time while loading episodes of svt club ♡ i mean it’s okay? not bad not good and i don’t even like miles teller ♡ shailene woodley perfectly plays the part of the awkward oblivious girl (and that’s not a compliment) 19. the breakup playlist (2015) / dir. dan villegas ♡ 180716 ♡ this film was so refreshing to watch?? sarah portrayed a youthful musician just starting out so so well i love her so much what a great first sarah g movie for me ♡ piolo made me fall in love with him and later on hate him, as he should ♡ i love opm kaya seeing the gig scene, some actual artists like ebe dancel, and looots of covers of songs like wag na wag mong sasabihin by kitchie nadal and with a smile by eraserheads ♡ i understand now why people love paano bang magmahal HAHAHA 20. barcelona: a love untold (2016) / dir. olivia lamasan ♡ 180717 ♡ alright so remember how i absolutely hated sdtg? ♡ I LOVED THIS FILM SO. MUCH. ♡ kathniel matured a lot in two years and i think they were perfect for this!! they really showed certain struggles of young adults and did not disappoint ♡ it also shows filipino values for family, utang ng loob, ofw struggles, etc ♡ and of course the cinematography is beautiful HUHU i mean it’s barcelona!! 21. my annoying brother (2016) / dir. kwon soo-kyung ♡ 180721 ♡ honestly took me a bit to get into it  ♡ i expected it to be funny and although it did make me laugh a lot why were there tears :((( ♡ kyungsoo is so, so, so talented i admire him so much as an actor now ♡ really hits you in the feels! a really beautiful story about two brothers 22. so i married an anti-fan (2016) / dir. kim jae-young ♡ 180724 ♡ meh ♡ it took some getting used to seeing chanyeol being all snobbish and cool instead of his usual loud happy self ♡ of course it’s overdramatic for the comedy, but the hate-turned-love isn’t even that good lol it’s just unreasonable but whatever ♡ the lead girl reminds me of arci munoz HAHA 23. wonder (2017) / dir. stephen chbosky ♡ 180725 ♡ we watched this during my summer program and i was actually pretty excited because i remember loving the book! ♡ this honestly teaches you a lot not even just from the perspective of children but also as teenagers, parents, friends, etc ♡ i thoroughly enjoyed it!

R.J. (Reyes JR/Gabe's kid) Headcannons

If you think Martina has very little information, R.J. has liturally no information about him. HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A NAME.

When they were kids Pharah and R.J. were extremely close but they lost contact near the end of Overwatch due to the drama that was happening with Pharah wanting to join the army

Both R.J. and Pharah would try to sneak out and would get close to succeeding but Cassidy would stop them, they often referred to him as the "final boss" when they were sneaking around

After Cassidy proved he was good with kids, due to him babysitting Pharah, Gabe made Cassidy look after R.J. as well.

R.J. is currently 30

R.J. and Cassidy were very close, R.J. openly calling Cassidy his older brother.

After Martina left Gabe and Overwatch, the only reason R.J. visited was to see Cassidy.

R.J. and Pharah were a chaotic duo when they were together

One time Cassidy dared Angela to babysit Pharah and R.J. to prove a point. Angela never looked at R.J. and Pharah the same after

R.J.'s wife's name is Morana, they met in high school and have inseparable ever since

He named his kid "Jesse" after Cassidy, he was a little upset when he found out on the news that Cassidy's name was actually "Cole Cassidy"

Like his mum he often checks the news to keep an eye on Cassidy

He also unintentionally followed Cassidy's "Joel Morricone" blog account because he liked to Coffee recommendations, he didn't realise it was Cole until the Hanamura post he made.

Along with giving gifts to Martina, Cassidy also gives presents to R.J. when he visits L.A.

R.J. talks very highly of a lot of his old friends from Overwatch, even if some people he associates with believe otherwise

R.J. feels conflicted about his Dad, on one hand Reyes was a good dad when R.J. was growing up, but on the other Gabe changed a lot before his death

When he saw Overwatch on the new he was with his son at the time and wasn't paying attention to the T.V until his son said "Dad look! It's Uncle Cass"

The speed of which he called his mum that dad would have made Tracer jealous

R.J. is a mama's boy

R.J. currently works as a security guard at a nearby club

A little Golden Era Overwatch prompt based on something that happened to me at work this morning. It also includes R.J. (Reuben "Reu" J. Reyes), my interpretation of who Gabe's kid is (Cause blizzard is giving us nothing)

Jack: *looking at watch and then looking at training room door* Ok, Cassidy is officially twenty minuets late, what could he be doing that's so important? Reyes: Not sure, but this isn't like him. Ana: Yeah, he's never been late to a training session since he got here. Me must have gotten held back by something. Reyes: Zeigler isn't here today is she? They might have gotten into another fight. Jack: Hope not, I'm getting enough complaints from Vivian as is. *They all turn to the door as the sound of struggling approaches, along with giggles and a distinct dragging sound* Jack: Ok, what's that? Cassidy: *opening the training room door, puffing in exhaustion. He enters the room, struggling to drag his feet* Sorry I'm late, these two wouldn't get off. Fareeha: *koalaed onto Cassidy's left leg* Hi Mum!! R.J.: *being dragged by the other leg* Hey Dad! Cole won't give us sweets!! Cassidy: I told you both I don't have sweets! Fareeha and R.J.: LIAR!! Ana: *trying not to laugh* Oh my god- Reyes: *laughing and pulling out his phone* Martina is gonna love this! Jack: *laughing his ass off* Cassidy: Can one of you help me?! PLEASE?!?

How old is Reyes' son?

Explanation rant time!!!

Ok so in my interpretation he's 18, however in canon we basically know nothing about him besides who his parents are. We don't even have a name. Reuben J. Reyes is just a name I came up with because initially I was just calling him R.J which in turn stands for Reyes Jr.

Also the reason I placed R.J at 18 was for 2 reasons, one, it inherently establishes a connection with Illari as well as deepens her interactions with Reaper as she is the same age as his son. Two, we have one image of what we can assume to be R.J which depicts him as fairly young and 18 was the youngest I can make him with following Overwatch's character rules, I also honestly don't like the idea of Reyes being an absent father of his own free will, I fully believe that Gabe was involved with R.J's life up until Zurich. Considering how Gabe's own parents deaths effected him during the Crisis I doubt that Reyes was in any way willingly absent.

Still in the process of my R.J. Reyes design but I am realising that I really should have figured his possible kit out before designing him. Cause I gave him a gun when I am now stuck on the idea of him being a hand-to-hand combat based hero.

I have an crazy thought. I have been listening to Hamilton a lot lately and the song Dear Theodosia makes my think of Ana and Reyes singing about Fareeha and R.J, yes I know this is probably an ooc crack comparison but its so cute!🖤

Ok I get that comparison, and I honestly think it works especally if you switch it from Ana and Reyes singing at the same time to when Fareeha and RJ were born. Post and Pre Crisis. Though I do agree that it is a little ooc for both Ana and Reyes and I think there are better songs that represent those relationships.

Though I would like to point out who it would be in character for, Sam and Martina. Specifically Sam as Burr and Martina as Hamilton;

"You have my eyes, you have your mothers name", really fits with describing Pharah and a lot of Burrs lines in that song in general could be interpreted to be Sam being Fareeha's main caretaker during the crisis. The with Martina it's more of my interpretation of her since we don't have as much on her as we do same, but the amount of pride she would have in RJ would be endless, that and "Oh [Phiip] you outshine the morning sun" and "When you smile, I fall apart" really work for what I've done for RJ's personality (he's a little ball of optimism and I love him).

Honestly either way this song works really well with Fareeha and RJ specifically.

I love your interpretation of Reyes son and I was wondering what his relationships would be with characters like you mentioned Illari and Reyes maybe even some overwatch and talon agents. Also what is your vision for his kit you always have such fresh takes with your designs and headcanons so I would love to hear about this🖤

I've honestly played with R.J's personality a lot, initially he was going to be a calmer more sarcastic character like Kiriko and Illari. However that has changed the more I've designed and written him. He's now basically optimism personified. Honestly my best comparison for him personality wise is Telemachus in Epic the Musical. I honestly want to take the "there's too much negativity in the world already, we need more positivity".

How this effects his relationships with other characters though is interesting. With Reaper he doesn't necessarily believe or hope he'll change, however if he does R.J would be the first to accept him back with open arms. However what his present dynamic with Reaper is basically "I mourn the man you were, not the monster you've become".

With Illari it's very much opposites being friends vibes, they are pretty much foils, including in the way they view death and guilt. They both lost a lot at a young age but the big difference was that R.J had a support system. Honestly I think a few interactions would be R.J asking Illari to hang out or come over for dinner.

I think the other Overwatch agents he would be close to are Cassidy and Pharah (basically his older siblings), Ana and Jack. I have a few headcannons regarding these guys, like Cassidy visiting and contacting the Reyes family whenever he could so he and R.J still gave a close relationship, Pharah being the opposite and being so busy with work that she lost contact with him and Martina, Ana having a fairly negative relationship with Martina because of how she treated Pharah and how that affected her dynamic with R.J, Jack honestly feeling nothing but guilt when talking to R.J because of the life R.J lost with Gabriel's "death".

When it comes to Talon agents it's a bit more complicated. I think the only two he wouldn't get along with would be Doomfist and Moira, both on principle and due to how they affected his life. With Sombra I think he'd draw a comparison between her and Cassidy, that or bring up her past with Los Muertos (another HC of mine is that Martina and RJ are living in Dorado). I think he'd also be very curious about Widow and Sigma, likely hearing about them growing up.

These are honestly things I'm going to explore in an interaction post once I plan on making after I finish with his design.

As for his kit, I haven't finalised anything yet but the main thing I want to do is give him kit based on close-mid ranged combat. I also want to give him a kit that fairly high mobility acrobatic kit style along with a stun ability, either as his ultimate or just as an ability.

Martina Reyes Headcannons cause I don't have any information about her

Note: For simplicity I'm gonna call the Reyes kid R.J., it stands for Reyes Jr. (Blizzard we seriously need a name for this kid, please)

Martina was a part of the army before the Crisis and she met Gabe when he was a police officer, she was more strait-laced then him and often disliked how he handled some cases.

Martina and Gabe got married two years before the crisis and Martina was pregnant with R.J. when the Crisis began.

After R.J. was born Martina joined the fight as soon as she could, much to literally everyone's concern.

After the Crisis Martina helped out with mainly Overwatch, she started helping out with Blackwatch after Cassidy joined

Cassidy got his cowboy aesthetic from Martina

Martina and Cassidy where genuinely close during Overwatch, they often made fun of Gabe and Jack together.

Gabe and Martina were both Bi

Cassidy babysat both Pharah and R.J.

Gabe and Martina divorced after the Venice incident, she also left Overwatch after this incident, she kept in contact with Cassidy up until the Swiss Base Explosion

In the years leading up to the recall she kept an eye on the events involving Talon because she didn't want her son and his family to be in any danger

Martina also watches to keep an eye on Cassidy to make sure he's safe

Though it's up for debate on whether Gabe treated Cassidy like a son or not, it isn't for Martina, to her, Cassidy is her eldest son

After her divorce she kept her last name Reyes to give her son someone other then Gabe to name when his last name was mentioned

Every time Cassidy was in LA for Mercenary business he made sure to leave a gift to Martina, they never talked but she always knew when he was in the city

Martina got the recall and is debating on whether or not to respond, during this time R.J. called her to tell her what was happening on the news, she turned it on and saw Cassidy helping out in Korea

Martina holds a lot of bitterness towards a lot of the old guard, the only members she gets along with and is still in contact with are Reinhardt and Sojourn

Her current main weapon is a pump action shotgun but during her time in Overwatch she used rifles with a peacekeeper side arm

I'll also be doing some R.J. headcannons soon, along with what I think the names of his wife and son are!
