It's crazy that people still uphold show!Sansa as a well-written character and pretend that liking her is the pinnacle of feminism when it would be infinitely more impactful to acknowledge her terrible and misogynistic writing. This is the same character who, while written by two men, was thankful for the abuse she suffered because it allowed her to grow. The same character who we had to be told was smart because the writers were too lazy to develop or show her intelligence. The same character who had to rely heavily on the men surrounding her and ended up accomplishing nothing on her own merit ( and no, thinking that she deserved to be Queen doesn't mean that she earned it). She is not well-written, she is not complex, and she is not a feminist character. Which is fine! If you enjoy her then good on you, but please stop pretending that she's something she isn't just because you feel the need to justify liking her character

30.9 - halloween eve + rabbits :)

Today was a pretty chill day at uni I had one lecture at nine, then some online stuff and directed learning. There was a rabbit talk happening at my uni to do with rabbit surgery and medicine so I stuck around for that - they were offering bagels. Apart from that today was very chill I was able to talk to my mum and some really good news my laptop will be available to use in 4 days :D

Please don’t compare yourself to my blog because I only mostly show the highlights. And just because I reblog something about studying languages doesn’t mean I’ve actually done much that day!

There’s nothing wrong with taking it slow and enjoying the language! We’re all here to learn because we want to. There’s no pressure to learn quickly. Learning a language is a lifelong journey, and there’s no rush to fluency. Whatever amount you’re doing, it’s okay and you’re welcome on this blog :-)

So annoyed because a bunch of tourists got mugged a while back because google maps routed them into an obviously bad area and NOW google maps never routes anyone even Near that route despite it being the quickest way, so when I, a local who would like to see whether the road has been blocked due to horrid muggings, wants to use google maps. it's like no :) that way doesn't exist :) . Sht up you dumbass machine I know that route exists and some of us aren't cowards in the pursuit of speed

people complain about bus lanes in major cities taking up too much space for too little convienence (for cars) but actually i think buses should be given MORE freedom with their routes especially if there's traffic. i think they should be allowed to drive on the sidewalk if there's no pedestrians on it. cut through a dark alleyway who gives a fuck. Have fun with it
