Written in the stars.” They gaze at each other, and for Ariel it feels magnetic, like everything in this moment was set up just for them.

not that either is a good thing but there is a small cosmic sort of irony to appreciate in the way that the russian invasion of ukraine and the most recent nakba happened so close together and how they through comparison made it undeniably clear how much the definition of war crime and genocide and atrocity &etc depends on the geopolitical interests of the imperial core

Watching never stop blowing up has made me realize that 80s action movies would probably be my favorite genre if it weren't for homophobia/lack of representation being a thing.

Kingskin being a bisexual king running into his exes around every corner, characters just being fine with it when the PCs accidentally refer to the characters with different pronouns, when Jack/Paula talks about his ex husband to a bar tender and hes just like

"my ex husband is in Tampa, he got a new boyfriend :( "

and jacks like "HES GAY?" Right after talking about his ex husband.

Background characters having top surgery scars, real excited for the complicated mess that's probably gonna be Jennifer drips and Matilda Drops.

Brennan Lee Mulligan is just so aggressively an ally and I love him so much for it. That man has so much love and support in him.

I just dug through my queue to find this post before it goes up, so I could add - thank you to folks who do this already! Even sending an ask anonymously is appreciated when it’s something specifically here on tumblr. (I know that’s not an option in more direct interpersonal situations but at least on the blogging site it’s a solid choice that works, so thank you!)

actually I do wish more people would just tell me when I do something wrong! it’s usually an accident that happens because I’ve misread the situation

I’ve had far too many friendships disintegrate because the other person never tells me when I do the wrong thing, and then they grow to resent me… despite them never being clear about what went wrong in the first place

the kindest thing you can do for your autistic friends is probably to be clear with them when they cross a line. to tell them kindly and politely what went wrong. to do them the service of communicating with them

because otherwise, how can I possibly know there’s a problem that I need to fix?
