"Awww what's up with the sourpuss behavior?" Joker pouted, forcing her head into an uncomfortable position just so she could look at Astrid. "Ms Joker? Really? That hurts! Especially when you're starting to look more and more like your mother. She never treated me that coldly..."

With a scoff, and an even more (feigned) sincere pout, she looked ahead once more as she was being processed before being brought deeper into the asylum. "And to think you'd come so excitedly to my cell to listen to my jokes. Oh, how I amused you for days! Watching that old grump of a father of yours come pick you up after you fell asleep listening to the fairytales I read to you."

A melancholic sigh escaped her, thinking about the past. About little Astrid and more important. "Oh Ingrid. Your little girl has all grown up." Those words held no teasing, no taunting. She held nothing but sincere affection towards Ingrid and her memory. Despite what others said of her, no matter how many times she got called a monster. Astrid was always free of her violent jests. It was the least she could do...

"Well, I'll be reminiscing in my cell! Hope to see you later sweetheart! Hugs and kisses; well mostly kisses, I can't really hug right now. HAHAHA- OW! HAAHAHAHA OW OW OW HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"How many times do I gotta spell it out, Dr. Arkham? I'm not looking to be freed. I am looking for a transfer to Blackgate Penitentiary. If I'm gonna be locked up, fine, but at least get me locked up in the place where I actually belong. Give me any psyche eval you want and I'll pass with flying colors. After his first escape from Arkham, Roman was quick to make connections, working to ensure that even if he did end up back inside that cursed cell, his legal aides would immediately begin the process of getting him out and in the meantime, he could look forwards to calling upon a few ‘favours’ after several bribes and threats were made. Several psychiatrists actually thought his behaviour had improved after his first stay but truthfully Roman just learned to keep a low profile and to make the most of things, reestablishing connections on the inside before his inevitable release once enough strings had been pulled. The orderlies know better and that Roman is simply playing the system but cannot say or do much about it as they’re only paid to keep patients in line. Roman on the other hand considers Arkham an insult; he’s not crazy, just corrupt.

—  Laughter  fills  the  air  between  them  and her  anger  only  feeds  into  it  ;  oh  how  ridiculous  this  place  is  for  him  to  get  punished  when  it’s  Arkham’s  very  own  employees  antagonizing  the  patients  .  “  An  eye  for  an  eye  ,  isn’t  that  what  they  say  ?  ”  he  mused  .  He  stabbed  the  man  in  the  eye  with  a  pen  ;  but  it  wasn’t  unwarranted  .  Arthur  does  not  move  without  purpose  .  Perhaps  if  the  orderly  didn’t  spit  in  his  face  ,  he  wouldn’t  have  been  provoked  .  He’s  become  far  more  unstable  ever  since  Crane  took  over  his  case  a  few  months  back  —   fear  toxins  plague  Arthur  and  the  moment  the  saliva  splattered  across  his  face  ,  he  saw  red  .  He  could  have  gotten  some  sort  of  disease  when  the  saliva  had  gotten  into  his  eye  ;  so  in  Arthur’s  mind  ,  it  was  only  fair  to  retaliate  .

She hated this idea. Talking to some stranger was not going to fix anything. Facts would still be facts at the end of the day, and if anything letting one outside know about this felt like a major risk. This was not worth, what Bruce called a ‘simple check in.’ Emma was sure anything she said was going to be documented and forwarded straight to Bruce which would only add steam to this never ending cycle of ‘talking things out.’

“I’m sure Bruce already gave you the run down of everything, already.” The teen muttered her words as her arms stayed cross keeping her slightly agitated look. “This was his idea by the way, not mine.” In case it was not already clear in her stature. “I’m not going to talk about it. It’s not going to change anything. No matter what ‘wisdom’ you tell me, I’m still going to go to bed tonight being the biological daughter of you-know-who.”

The Shape stares at the doctor. He had been hounded by others like her, but this was the first time anyone point-blank demanded to know that.

His dark eyes seemed to sink back into the black pits of his mask, and he seemed to receed back into himself.

It was obvious he didn't want to talk about it. Talking about it....made him remember the children he lost. The children he had so desperately wanted.....only for each one to be taken from him. He had three children left....he didn't want to be reminded of the pain of losing their brothers and sisters.
