Summary: Nattie and Shayna drop their acts when you get hurt during your triple threat match.

The crowd was on their feet, the energy in the arena electric as the three of you, Shayna, Natalya, and yourself, stepped into the ring for a highly anticipated triple-threat match. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and you could feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins.

The match started as expected, with each of you showcasing your incredible wrestling skills. The crowd roared as you executed high-flying moves and grappled fiercely. It was a battle of strength, speed, and technique, and you were thrilled to be a part of it.

But then, in the heat of the moment, a miscalculation happened. You attempted a daring maneuver, aiming to take down both Shayna and Nattie, but it didn't go as planned. You landed awkwardly, a sharp pain coursing through your leg. The adrenaline that had been pumping through you suddenly gave way to intense agony.

You couldn't hide the pain. You writhed on the mat, clutching your leg, tears welling up in your eyes. The match came to a screeching halt as the referee signaled for medical personnel to come to your aid.

Shayna and Nattie, usually fierce competitors, immediately dropped their in-ring personas. They rushed to your side, their concern genuine and evident. Shayna knelt beside you, her eyes filled with worry.

"Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her voice laced with genuine concern.

Nattie crouched down on your other side, gently placing a hand on your shoulder. "We need to get you some help. Can you tell us where it hurts?"

You winced in pain, trying to hold back tears. "It's my leg," you managed to say, your voice trembling. "I think I twisted it badly."

Shayna and Nattie exchanged a quick look before nodding in unison. They knew that the match didn't matter anymore. Your well-being was their top priority.

Medical personnel arrived, and Shayna and Nattie helped them assess your injury. The pain was excruciating, but their presence, their support, made it bearable. They stayed with you, offering words of comfort as you were carefully stretchered out of the ring and toward the medical area.

In that moment, the competition didn't matter. Your partners just needed to know that you would be okay. The outcome of the match was forgotten as you realized that, in the world of wrestling, the bond you shared with your partners was more important than any victory or defeat.

What is a symbol of legitimacy?

Let me just spell it out: the fact that your mommy and granddaddy gave you an important name, the crown and the sword of an important figure in history, does not make you important in turn, and these “things” are NOT symbols of legitimacy.

What if someone close to me were to take (practically steal) a crown and put it on my head. Would people actually remain in awe at this symbol of “legitimacy” and proclaim me their monarch? LOL.

I can’t believe how certain “fans” are so dense as to perceive Aegon’s coronation as anything other than his mother’s family forcefully taking power which does not belong to them.

Yes, forcefully. Because if they were in the right, they wouldn’t have imprisoned and murdered people to consolidate power after the King’s death.

The crown and the sword of Aegon the Conqueror did not “magically” appear before Aegon. They were GIVEN to him. And by who? Not the people. But by his self-victimized mother and his traitorous snake of a grandfather.

So, you CANNOT spew the “every symbol of legitimacy belongs to him” and expect people to take you seriously.

What is a true symbol of legitimacy then?

You know I just think it’s a bit silly to turn another woman heel when this is what the roster currently looks like. Plus the reports of Megan Bayne coming in as a heel. And idk much about Kamille but she gives off heel vibes to me.

So… I just had a vision. ;-;

Almost 20 years ago, we saw one of the most iconic uses of music ever in a tv show, when Bear McCreary created an epical version of "All along the watchtower" that played in the minds of the cylon sleeper agents to wake them up.

Can you imagine if they took inspiration from this for Akasha's awakening? Lestat playing his music at a concert, being live streamed across the world. The music slowly fading over into a more epical, orchestral version of itself. A crosscut between Lestat, Akasha and Marius while the music is swelling (and also to some characters in the audience/backstage - Louis, Armand, Daniel etc). The dawning look of horror in Marius' face. The earth-shattering feeling, that in this moment, the world is changing forever, mirrored by the beats of the music. Marius' signal of "Danger!" echoing in the minds of other vampires around the world.

My top shows of 2023

Reservation Dogs season 3. The Finale was a well done, emotional and deserving finish for this show

Deadloch. A hilarious murder mystery with fun female leads. I hope there's a season 2!

Foundation season 2. An example of how despite being so very different from the book series, the adaptation can still tell a very compelling story with intriguing characters and a well developed plot.

Slow Horses season 3. The most incompetent spies ever bumbling around political intrigue and MI 5 shenanigans.

Silo. An interesting mystery of what's outside the Silo. A bit dragging at certain points - can't be helped considering it's adapted from a novella - and yet, great characters and never losing the focus on the central plot made this a fun show. Loved it, can't wait for season 2

Bodies. I am a sucker for time travel shows and this one was right up my alley. The characters are amazing in each time period. Not a big fan of how it was all resolved at the end there.

Abbott Elementary season 2 and the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Dark Winds season 2 and Black Snow - Murder mysteries in a complex and interesting setting.

1899. Sadly cancelled but the mystery was interesting and I wanted to know more.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart - Just for the cinematography and the beauty of the settings, though the story about abuse and the long term effects of growing up with abuse was also beautifully done.
