Apparently it's been 20 years since the release of Bro'Town! David, Oscar Knightley, and Madeleine Sami voiced characters in the animated series back in 2004!
"A modern day fairytale about five Auckland teenagers growing up in the big bad city, bro'Town chronicles the schoolboy misadventures of Vale, Valea, Sione, Mack and Jeff da Maori in a proudly suburban, non PC satire."
David shared some videos but I couldn't fit them all on tumblr-- so here's a link to the repo with more: https://ofmd-renewal-repo.knowledgeowl.com/help/david-fane-brotown-20-year-anniversary

== Love Notes ==
Wow Lovelies. What a weekend huh? Yall have been clowning/honking (however you wanna describe it) for days now and it's so incredibly uplifting to see! It feels like the beginning of the year again, all buzzing with life in the fandom!
I've seen lots of mixed emotions on the subject of renewal today, so tonight I just want to send you a couple reminders. If you aren't feeling up to Honking for any reason, whether that be that the ups and downs of the cancellation/renewal news, or you've got things going on in your life, or you just don't want to get your hopes up again-- please know, that is OKAY. If you are honking your head off, tweeting, tumbling, drawing, writing, creating, and putting your whole soul into the clowning after David's tweet on Friday -- That's OKAY too. If you're passively keeping an eye on things, waiting for news, or focused on other things-- that's also OKAY. Every single one of us experienced OFMD different from each other. Every single one of us experienced grief from the cancellation differently from one another. Every single one of us has or has not begun to heal differently. If someone is having fun honking-- that's great, keeping doing it babes! If you're feeling like you just can't bear the disappointment again if something goes wrong-- you do what you need to take care of yourself m'dears! Don't push yourself in a way that makes you feel worse. There's no wrong answer here in how to be involved in what's happening right now. Be kind to one another, and let yourself and others do their thing-- and all is well <3 No matter what happens, we're still here for you crew-- we still care. Don't feel bad for how you are coping and engaging with the fandom right now. Just be yourself. Goodnight lovelies, I hope the week ahead treats you with kindness and healing.
== Daily Darby / Today's Taika ==
I didn't wanna miss another day of gifs-- but I'm running out of image room, so we get these two iconic dude together tonight. Gif Courtesy of @dallonismysavior!

The dull light of dawn dragged her from a dreamless sleep. The sun hadn’t yet risen, the fire was long dead and Lucia’s bedchamber was cold.
She kept her eyes closed, vaguely aware of a distant birdsong and the noises of the city beyond the walls of the Red Keep. She breathed into her back and felt where it met the mattress beneath her, and as the haze of sleep began to fade she winced at the slight stiffness in her neck and the tenderness between her legs.
Her fingers crawled to the other side of the bed where the sheets were neat, seemingly undisturbed. She was alone then. She opened her eyes, part of her hoping it might not be true. The pieces of her gown were still laid over the chaise, the smell of sweat and sex lingered on her sheets, but any other traces of Aemond were gone.
One night, she told herself. One night and she would allow herself this indulgence for the sake of duty. Duty to her family. Duty to the realm. Duty to her husband. Duty to herself.
She never could have imagined how it might have felt to finally be so close to him, to hold him and feel every part of him. She felt herself fading from the world around her, consumed by the memory of his skin, his sapphire gleaming in the gentle candlelight, the smell of smoke and leather–
“The Queen mentioned your outburst.”
She looked up slowly from her plate of salted pork and eggs, at the three faces looking at her.
The Lord of Casterly Rock sat directly opposite her, his dull golden hair falling limply around a furious expression. Nothing good ever came of her meetings with the Lannisters, not for her anyhow.
Aunt Johanna– Lady Lannister, suited the colours of her husband’s house, red and gold against her Westerling features. Often she was quick to defend her niece, but in the last year her rebuttals of Lord Jason’s usual lectures had become few and far between. Her expression now was soft and unsure as she took small sips of her tea in silence.
“Before this morning’s meeting of the Small Council,” Lord Tyland added. He was a little more put together than his twin, more stately, his hair neatly combed, his scowl more stern than irritated. “She said there was some kind of disagreement with your husband that was only resolved at the intervention of Prince Aemond.”
Lucia held her tongue between her teeth. Aegon’s insults were hardly a disagreement. There was no conflict, it was just… him. She had sat passively for so many years and now rage boiled through her blood.
But she knew her duty.
She took a deep and gentle breath. “As it happens my husband and I have resolved our differences.”
The Lannister twins exchanged a brief look of disbelief.
“To some extent,” she added.
“How so-”
“I will not be elaborating,” she said, “the state of my marriage may be of concern to you but the details are certainly not.”
She spent the day in her chambers, reading, embroidering dragons into scrap pieces of cloth, picking holes in her bed clothes only to stitch them back together, anything to keep her busy so that she wouldn’t have to think.
But all she thought of was Aemond.
The invitation to take dinner with Helaena and Martyn Hightower came as a surprise.
Little Rhaella was thankfully starting to recover from her ailment and was a bright presence. The girl had her father’s brown eyes, but everything else was Helaena’s, the delicate silver hair and dreamy look on her face. Less than two years old and she was running frantically around the room, presenting Lucia with her collection of small wooden animals before she came toddling from the nursery with a dark blue dragon egg.
Martyn started to panic that she might break it but Helaena simply said in a soft and melodic voice, “hold it tight, my love,” and the girl did just that.
When the hour grew late for the little dragon, Lucia followed Helaena, Rhaella in one arm and the egg in the other, into the nursery. Helaena dressed her daughter herself, fed her a spoonful of honey and a few sips of tea for her throat, and sent her to sleep with Valyrian lullabies.
“It can feel like such a burden,” Helaena said, as they walked back to the dining room, “I was terrified of the whole ordeal, and at the end of my suffering came Rhaella.”
“She’s an angel,” Lucia said as they reached the dining room. A sliver of warm light shone through the door into the otherwise darkened corridor, bathing Helaena’s silver hair and pale blue gown in gold.
Helaena reached for Lucia’s hand and traced her finger over her palms, studying her skin as a scholar studies a book, or a healer studies a wound. “I do not envy your position,” she said. “It is easier with someone you love.”
Lucia tried to swallow but her throat was suddenly dry.
She tried to love Aegon. She still remembered their first meeting, in the throne room, before the court. She might have found him handsome if it weren’t for the distant look in his eyes, and the fact he wouldn’t even look at her.
Despite his initial indifference, he had showered her with affections on the day of their wedding. As they stood before the eyes of Gods and men to recite their vows, she saw only him, violet eyes bearing into hers, and when he kissed her, her fear faded. She allowed herself to hope that the Prince she had married was a man who embraced his duty, who would be kind, gentle and cherishing. He even did away with the bedding ceremony. The marriage would be consummated when she was ready, he said, a promise sealed with a chaste kiss to her cheek.
The first time he visited her chambers was a year into their marriage. He stumbled in as she was readying herself for bed, dragging with him the smell of stale wine and the streets of Fleabottom. She had never seen him in such a state. She had heard whispers, of course, of his exploits and his affections for serving girls, but never had he presented this part of himself to her.
At least he had been gentle when he guided her to her knees and entered her mouth. “A mercy to us both,” he slurred when it was over. He didn’t even seem to find much pleasure from it, just a motion to reach a release, and then he was gone.
“I love my husband,” Lucia whispered.
Helaena hummed to herself. “That’s rather not what I meant, dear sister.”
She frowned, but before she could press her further, Helaena swept into the dining room, singing a lullaby under her breath.
She didn’t care to eat much, save for a few cuts of beef and half an apple cake.
When she returned to her chambers, her eyes fell to a book upon the desk that had no place on her shelves. It was large, an old philosophy text with delicate pages and fraying binding, from Prince Aemond’s personal collection. He had leant it to her some weeks ago, but even after finishing it she had found herself reluctant to part with it. She couldn’t say why, if her interest was in the rhetoric of the Maester long since dead, or the fine calligraphy and illustrations drawn in colourful ink and plated with gold leaf. Perhaps it was the simple act of tracing her hands over the pages Aemond had studied so devotedly, having a part of him with her.
True, she had found his scar and constant intensity rather intimidating at first, and warmer friendships with Helaena and Daeron, but with Aemond she had found something more innate.
It began with comfortable silence. The library was a wonderful place to seclude herself, escape her husband and the prying eyes of the court, losing herself in tales of history. She had a particular fascination for the Conquest at the time and devoured chronicles of Aegon and his Queens, and their dragons, of course.
She was rather surprised one morning to see Aemond walking towards her reading table. They exchanged few words but mostly she was happy to simply sit beside him. The next day she returned the favour and, eventually, they managed a few formal conversations.
She lit up the first time he mentioned Vaghar.
“It is remarkable that such a beast of war should remain among us,” she said one gloomy afternoon as rain pelted against the window, so heavy they could not see Blackwater Bay beyond the gardens. “A living piece of history.”
Aemond smiled a little stiffly. “Indeed.”
“How did you first come to claim her?”
But her face fell with regret the moment she asked. By the way Aemond thinned his lips and clenched his fist, she had overstepped a line.
“It was simple really,” he said before she could utter an apology, “I offered myself to Vhagar and she accepted me.”
Her eyes flashed to his eyepatch, no longer fearful, but curious. “Were you scared?”
“Yes, and I overcame my fear.”
She did not question him further.
As years went by, Aegon slipped into his cups and the onslaught from the Queen, the Lannisters and every other Lord and Lady of the court began.
When she retreated to her usual hiding places, the library or the bench in the rose garden, Aemond was always the one to find her, to sit with her in settled silence with that soft expression she dared to think he reserved only for her.
So it was out of duty she found herself walking through the Holdfast with Aemond’s book under her arm.
There was no guard stood outside his door. She took a shallow breath and gave three gentle knocks.
He understood the moment he opened his door to her.
They concerned themselves little with the preamble. The book was forgotten on his desk as their lips met. She loved the desperation of it, the way he pawed at her dress and whimpered when she tugged on his hair.
“I’ve thought of nothing but you,” he uttered between their kisses, “I thought I might come to you tonight… I did not wish to presume.”
Always courtly and composed, it thrilled her to hear Aemond’s voice so breathless and raw. A warmth swelled in her chest, pride and lust, feeding off each other and intertwining until she could hardly form any thought other than him.
He wanted her as much as she wanted him.
She pulled back just a little, resting her thumb over the pillowy pink of his lips. “I cannot stay long,” she whispered, “someone will notice my absence.”
His hands settled on her waist, holding her gently, as though she were something precious, but with a firmness that fuelled her desire. “Let me take care of you, Princess.”
It was quicker than before. He turned her around and brought her to lean against a table, making quick work of hitching up her skirt and pulling down her small clothes.
He groaned to see her desire already dripping onto her thighs, tracing featherlight patterns over her skin and teasing her needy centre.
And then his hand came around her throat, a delicate hold, but it made her head spin as he inched his cock into her entrance and started to fuck her.
She gripped the edge of the table, unsure of what else to do with herself but moan and make breathy attempts at saying his name. The stretch of his cock inside her, his fingers working over her pearl and his light grunts in her ear, it all felt so perfect.
“Good girl,” he uttered, hot breath sending shivers over her skin “you take it so well for me, Princess.”
“This excites you, doesn’t it? That I’m his and not yours,” she teased.
“I think you like it,” he rasped, driving his hips faster against her rear, pushing himself deeper and deeper until he met that spot that left her body weak. “You need me, to fulfil your duty… your desire.”
If he was intending to tease her it was working. She could feel herself clenching around him, as her pleasure began to rise in her.
She nodded, hardly aware she was doing it. “I want you, Aemond, I need you.”
“Beg me for it. Beg me to paint this perfect little cunt.”
“Please… I want it… I want it…”
She fell against his chest as they came together. She could feel him draining inside her, fucking every last drop of his seed into her as his hand pressed against her stomach to keep her close against him. She gripped his hand and he didn’t seem to mind the crescent marks she left behind.
She savoured the stillness for a moment, the closeness, the fullness of his cock inside of her and the afterglow of her release.
“I meant it,” she said, “I find so little to be happy about. I do not love my husband. I resent my position. I allow myself so little hope.”
Aemond pressed an achingly light kiss to her temple. She leaned into his touch and held his hand a little tighter.
“I just want you,” she whispered.
“You may have me whenever you wish, Princess,” he said, trailing his lips down her cheek before he tilted her head back to meet him in a slow, contented kiss.
Once she had fixed her small clothes she headed to the door.
“Will you take me riding tomorrow?” She asked.
He raised his good eyebrow. “Riding?”
“To the Kingswood.”
The brow dropped. “Oh.”
“You didn’t think I meant…”
Aemond smirked at his own assumption. “Well, who am I to deny the wishes of my Princess?”
She passed one other person as she walked from Aemond’s chambers, a young maid with a timid face and a bundle of laundry in her arms. She kept her eyes fixed on the floor as she passed the Princess.
“Where are those from?”
The girl froze, like a squirrel catching sight of a dog. “Pardon, your Grace?”
“These–” Lucia gestured to the white lines, “where did they come from?”
“They are Prince Aegon’s, your Grace.”
“An unusual hour to be changing his bedclothes.”
“They… needed to be changed.”
Lucia sighed. “Has he overindulged himself in his cups tonight?”
“Quite so, your Grace.”
She thought for a moment. She could still feel Aemond’s seed spilling from her.
After briefly thanking the maid she walked on, past the corridor that led to her own chambers and towards her husband’s.
Aegon’s room smelled sour, of spilled wine and vomit. She could taste it on her tongue as she breathed. A loud snore sounded from the bed. Aegon was sprawled on his front, his clothes discarded on the floor around the bed.
The heels of her shoes clicked against the floor as she approached the bed, and he did not stir. She pulled back the covers on one side, and still, nothing.
She chewed on a piece of flesh in her mouth. Part of her thought she might regret this, but if it worked, she might never need to find herself in such a position again.
She undid her gown and removed her corset and shift, leaving them atop a chest by the window. The air was surprisingly warm against her bare skin.
With Aemond’s seed still spilling from her, she slipped into the bed, as far away from Aegon’s unconscious body as she could, though with his arm laying out it was difficult to avoid him.
She lay there, eyes closed and limbs stiff, and waited for the morning to come.
By the time it did her eyes were sore and she felt as though she had not slept, but she must have fallen asleep at some point because the early light took her by surprise.
Someone needed to see her in order for this to work, either a maid, come to leave the Prince his breakfast, or Aegon himself.
By some miracle of the Gods, the snoring stopped, and his fingers drifted over the skin of her arm.
“Wife,” Aegon muttered into his pillow, “I don’t recall summoning you.”
“Have you considered your memory may be improved if you drank less?”
“I drink just the right amount,” he grumbled, falling onto his back and stretching his arms out in front of him. He rubbed at his eyes, then he stared at her. “Did I fuck you?”
She rolled her eyes and hauled herself from the bed, fully revealing her bare body and the stain in his sheets. That seemed to be enough, and he muttered a crude curse as she started to dress herself.
“Congratulations husband, it only took us five years.”
He would only need to be fooled once.
As for Aemond she felt no need to deny her desires.
Their encounters in the library became stolen kisses hidden amongst the shelves. Rides into the Kingswood left her with swollen lips, tangled hair and bruises against her back. In every other aspect, their lives became a game, a hand on the small of her back as they walked through the gardens, whispers of sweet nothings as helped her practise her marksmanship, all to tease each other, to see how far they could push each other until one gave in.
They knew to avoid being seen alone after dark. Sometimes he visited her before breakfast, or else she would meet him in the training yard and walk back to his chambers with him. They often found themselves in more formal company, receptions, feasts, tourneys, and there was always a corner to stow away into, a brief moment for them to claim as their own.
Their familiarity did not raise any suspicion, as far as she could tell. Of the King’s children she had always cared less for Aegon than his siblings. Sometimes she thought the faces around her seemed to look at her a little curiously, but she and Aemond had already been friends for years and faced no scrutiny for it.
When she realised their efforts had become fruitful, Aemond was the first person she went to, breaking their usual rule of avoiding each other after dark. They sat together on a settee before the fire in his chambers, his arms around her as she leaned into his shoulder.
“I’ll protect you,” he whispered, “both of you, until my last breath, whatever may come.”
The labour lasted days, but at the end of it came Jaehaerys.
The whispers of the court were quelled, the Hightowers at last seemed to view her as something more than an inconvenience, and the realm celebrated the birth of a new Prince. A Prince with silver hair and violet eyes, just like his father.
Aemond visited the nursery every day, sitting by the cradle, stroking his finger over the babe’s delicate skin, or simply looking over his face. He read to him too. Lucia laughed at the ridiculousness of Aemond bringing volumes of his philosophy books and reciting arguments of ethics and existence to an infant. But it had some kind of effect, Jaehaerys’ eyes would always go wide at the sound of his uncle’s voice.
Lucia entered the nursery one evening. Aemond was leaning back in an armchair, with Jaehaerys cradled into his chest, their lips both parted and their breaths, fluttering as they slept, in perfect unison. They looked so content and peaceful, her boys.
Her fingers came to the Valyrian steel band around her ring finger and her heart sank. She had everything she wanted, her son, her Aemond, her position, and it all rested on a lie.
Even with Aemond’s love and promise of protection, she had never felt so unsure of herself.

Kaz has three animal motifs all to himself
The Crow
The Dog
The Shark
The Crow
This one is the most apparent. It's his symbol, the sign of his gang, the tattoo on his arm, the name of his crew, the bird that nests around his territory.
The crow represents many things: death, danger, misfortune and illness. Kaz identifies with all of these, and uses them as his armour. He brings and causes death, he is dangerous, it is people's misfortune to cross him, he allegedly causes people's flesh to wither and die at his touch. However, it also describes his life. Everyone he has cared about has died, he lives in constant danger in the Barrel, misfortune caused him to catch the plague, be mistaken for dead, thrown on the Barge, and lose his brother. He became ill with the Queen's Lady Plague and "died". But crows also represent: rebirth, self-reflection, intelligence, and loyalty. Kaz was reborn in the Ketterdam harbour. He decided to never love again to never hurt again, believing love to be the cause of loss. He's scarily intelligent, probably the smartest man in the city. His gang is loyal and his crew is loyal - he gathers people around him that will never betray him. Jesper, his second that will do anything Kaz says. Inej, the girl who would kill a dozen men to protect him.
Also: "Crows remember the faces of the people who wronged them. But they also remember those that were kind. They tell each other who to watch out for, and who to look after." Kaz remembers everyone who has ever wronged him and goes after them in a bloody quest for vengeance, but he also looks after his people.
He is deeply associated with the crow, but he also personally relates to it.
The Dog
One of his nicknames is "Per Haskell's rabid dog" and he has all of the qualities that the dog symbolises.
Dogs symbolise: guidance, protection, loyalty, fidelity, faithfulness, alertness, and love, strength, courage, and tenacity.
Guidance: Kaz is a leader. He's a gang leader, he's the leader of the crows. He makes the plans and finds the resolutions of problems and difficulties that they face. But he also helps others, in his own way. He never judges Nina for what she did to Matthias, and not only does he focus more on what Wylan can do instead of what he can't, he gives him advice. He tells Wylan that he should not be ashamed, that shame eats men whole, that he doesn't need to be able to read to be valuable.
Protection: Kaz is very protective. When Inej got stabbed, he killed a dozen men and carried her all the way to safety despite his limp. He has his crew's back in a fight. He offers safety and protection to his gang: threatening retaliation if one of his own is hurt. He gives Wylan his father's empire. He lies for Jesper to Colm and refuses to give Jesper the parem. He looks after his own.
Loyalty: Kaz is committed to the Dregs. They are his gang and he does his best to look after them. He made their revenue, makes them money, insulates the house, pays for the water. He looks after them in a fight, too. And of course, he expects the loyalty back.
Fidelity: He is exclusively loyal to his gang, and his friends. When Pekka says that he offers a Kaz a place in the Dime Lions Kaz deadpans that he'd rather "be roasted on a spit with Van Eck turning the handle". This is partly because he utterly despises Pekka, but it is also partly that the Dregs are his people. He may not exactly see them as a family but he cannot deny that that is what they are. "Did Muzzen have any family?" "Just the Dregs." Kaz admits that the Dregs are a family, and Inej says that Per Haskell was a little like a father to Kaz, and Kaz like a son to Haskell. He wouldn't betray them.
Faithfulness: He is true to his word and never breaks a promise once he has given it.
Alertness: Kaz is always alert. He's always ready for a fight, or for something to go wrong.
Love: At Kaz's core, he deeply believes in love. His motivation for revenge was not that he got conned out of money, it was the loss of his brother and the feeling of betrayal that Pekka caused by pretending to replace the family he had lost, only to snatch everything away. Whenever he threatens someone, he threatens to hurt their loved ones, because he believes it's the worst kind of pain - he experienced it himself. He loves Inej so much that he's willing to try and better himself for her. He accidentally calls Jesper by his dead brother's name.
Strength: Kaz is strong - physically, emotionally, and mentally. Physically, he dangled a clerk by the legs from the top of a light house for an extended period of time, fought a whole gang on his own, and many other feats. He can handle running and fighting even when he is in agony. Emotionally, he manages to maintain a poker face at everything and almost nothing fazes him; when something does, he doesn't dwell on the pain, but on how to get revenge or how to save the person being hurt. Mentally, he managed to push past the trauma and swim back to shore from the Reaper's Barge using his dead brother's body as a raft. He was able to try and push past the trauma to try loving Inej.
Courage: Kaz is brave, and strong in the face of pain and grief. He went and fought the Dregs on his own, has survived so much and still kept going.
Tenacity: Kaz never stops. He's persistent and he won't ever quit. He doesn't quit on his revenge at Pekka, he doesn't quit even when the Dregs nearly kill him in the Slat fight. He keeps trying until he gets what he wants.
The Shark
Kaz's eyes are often compared to that of a shark: black and cold. He also has the qualities that the shark is a symbol for.
The shark symbolises: power, superiority, authority, focus, determination, adaptability, and self-confidence.
Kaz has a lot of power. He is now the king of the Barrel and very rich. He's the leader of his gang and no longer has a boss. No one tells him what to do. He's superior to most in the Barrel - more ruthless, more driven but also, ironically enough, morally superior. Not just in the Barrel, but to more socially acceptable people. He doesn't deal with slavers and despises the skin trade. He is actively against slavers and bawds. Kaz also has a lot of authority. He's the leader, and the Dregs and the Crows follow his orders without question.
Kaz is very focused. Mainly on revenge. He has nothing else in his life, just that primal urge to take down Pekka Rollins. He is also determined in this focus yielding results. He doesn't give up. Ever. Even when everything is falling down around his head, he finds a way to flip it around and end up in control again.
Kaz is extremely adaptable. He became what he had to be to survive the Barrel. He became cruel and mean and ruthless because that's what it took to survive the Barrel. When something goes wrong on a job he always has a spare plan and when those run out (which is rarely) he is good at improvisation. He can turn even what seems like an utter loss, into a win.
Kaz is very self-confident. Arrogant, too. He knows that he's good at, and exactly how skilled he is at what he does. He confidently went to the Slat and fought a dozen gang members, he broke into the Ice Court - one of the most impenetrable strongholds in the world, he's confident in his plans, and he knows how to make people stand down, bring them to their knees. He uses people's loved ones against them because everyone has someone they love that he can use, this has no exceptions. Sure, he failed to use Wylan against Van Eck, but he managed with Alys. Using people's loved ones is absolutely a good technique and he knows it. He knows he's skilled in fighting, blackmail, breaking and entering, etc. and he's confident in his abilities.
#he is also a cat cuz he hisses when you approach and won't let you pet him but when you start to show love he goes. oh. that's nice#also he asks for attention in funny ways like breaking into wylan's house and pushing wine glasses off of tables#the dog one is really detailed because at first glance kaz doesn't really display those qualities#but he really really does#also notice how none of them are prey animals#and can be associated with death#kaz brekker#six of crows#six of crows duology#animal motif#i LOVE animal motifs

Tavs of judasiskariot/bhaalbattlebeerbard
Saulus
screenshots all by @aristenfromwarsaw
My second tav (durge run), main tav, love her so much
Quick Facts:
Race: Tiefling
Class: Bard (College of swords, Multi in Rogue and Fighter)
Fighting Style: Two Hand Crossbows
Instrument: Lyre, Lute (but also practiced in flute, pun intended)
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Pansexual
Scent/Perfume: Lily, jasmine, blackberry (lilac, pomegranate, cocoa, gooseberries, grapes)
Hair: Ravenblack with red highlights, rune horns
Eyes: demonic blue with flames
Tattoo: white dots upon her face
Skin: dusk purple
Romance: Astarion
Pros & Cons, characterisation:
Summary: Bhaal battle beer bard: The name says it all
Bard is not only her class but foremost her vocation, her calling
She loves to write poems and songs, makes music all the time
Maybe you will get as her companion some songs about you, you would rather not like to have because she loves tavern roasting songs and also dirty limericks
Loves to drink, party and rhyming songs (preferably with bff Thisobald Thorm)
Very funny and silly, always up for a good time
Soft, sweet and devoted when it comes to love
Addicted to puns, sarcasm, burns, ambiguous comments
Gossip Queen
Dirty mind, dirty kind
Likes to flirt
Sexually very open and liberal, tries everything and anything
Doesn't need much convincing, always open for fun 😉
Has absolutely no problem with polygamous relationships, but when she loves you and you agree on exclusive relationship with her, than you are her whole world, the one&only
Very loyal
Loves animals: Proud owlbear mother!
Pro: You get a cute owlbear cub; Con: You have to share your bedside with the owlbear cub
Loves the love; likes to play Armor (looking at you Karlach&Dammon)
All of the Dark Urge problems
Therefore, can get really bloody and nasty
Insecure about her Tiefling body (foremost her tail, horns and ridges)
Holding her tail like security blanket when she is nervous
Has a feud with Volo (he is her nemesis; he knows what he did)
Excellent sharpshooter (two hand crossbows double action; fight is over before it even started)
Because of the dark urge her enthusiasm sometimes looks a bit crazy, chaotic and intimidating
Rather not making her angry while the urge is still strong, she will slice you up in one second because it is fun
Loves to be a loyal bhaal babe, Sceleritas Fel is her buddy
But also redeemed (would have stayed with bhaal if daddy would have let her the free will)
After that her true kind nature comes up: Loving, caring, very sweet, loyal, devoted, patient, cuddly, can be a softie when it comes to her loved ones
Wanted to be the baddest, most evil bhaal babe of them all; ended up rescuing most people and help everyone
Is banned from most gnome weddings and some cities in Faerûn (not everyone likes her very dirty limericks and she can’t control her urge)
Oh and she has the condition to confuse gnomes with children very hard (That is maybe the problem; but she like gnomes, very much! Supporter of all the gnome rights!)
Confuses a few things (Don’t ask what she thinks what Hobgoblins and Bugbears are called)
Does everything Astarion wants to (sometimes he thinks she is a bit naïve and easily to manipulate, but she just loves him and so she lets him get away with everything)
Easily to convince, says yes to almost everything (chaotic good times)
When she likes you, she hypes everything you do and supports you endlessly
Saulus will help you archive everything you want to and will never want to change you
Accepts you as you are; will not make decisions for you
Because she is a Dark Urge, she will not question your moral compass; she doesn't allow herself to judge what is wrong and right and what things a good for you
Relies on people to be honest about what they want and think and accepts this as the truth
Goblin supporter and friend
Invite her to a drink or party and she is your lifetime friend - that is just the law
I don’t have amazing huge lore accurate backgroundstories for my tavs like so many of you. I only have an outlook for the future what they want to do after the final battle. My tavs don’t look much back in the past, they look straight ahead for what to come.
Saulus is a sassy little Dark Urge Tiefling Bhaal Battle Beer Bard, dreaming of a retirement with Astarion at Moonrise Towers with best friend Thisobald Thorm.
The Tiefling bard is banned from most gnome weddings and some cities in Faerûn 😂 There is some fun rivalry between her and Volo 😄
Her dream is to marry Astarion, start a family and settle down with him at Moonrise Towers to reopen the Waning Moon Distillery. (The party, "Opa" Ketheric, bhaal cult and the undead horde are babysitters)
To cuddle with Astarion and the owl bur cub under a warm blanket is everything she needs in life.
She uses two hand crossbows, wanted to be an evil bhaal babe, but ended up doing all the right things 😄 The Urge is still strong in her, so better not making here angry 😈
She is absolutely in love with Astarion and the owl bear cub (her son) and Thisobald is her best friend.
She is insecure about her Tiefling look, holding her tail when she is nervous. Saulus plays dirty funny limericks with the lute and mostly lyre but with two missing strings at the moment💀(maybe she doesn't take criticism very well😅)
She likes gnomes but is banned from most gnome festivities because she confuses them with kids and is singing too many dirty limericks (at children's birthday parties thinking it is a wedding; but also inappropriate for weddings though... 😅)
Saulus: "Let me tell you my bardic epos:
After all fires in Baldur's Gate are extinguished only one remains: Cazador's palace. I burn it down, so Astarion is getting his head clear and get over his Ascension Master God Complex. And because the handymen failed to build a palace door in owlbear size for our son the owlbear cub. In consequence of I won the drinking competition against my bff Thisobald Thorm I inherited (more or less official and legal) the propery deed of The Waning Moon.
Ketheric is still alive and our grandpa Ketheric now.
I marry Astarion, start a family and settle down with him at Moonrise Towers to reopen the Waning Moon Distillery.
And when Opa Ketheric is holding the little half Elf Tiefling Vampire baby for the first time, you can see how the light and will to live is coming back into his eyes.
I am the bard at the bar, barkeeper and my own best customer.
The party, "Opa" Ketheric, the bhaal cult and the undead ghoul horde of vampirelord Astarion are the babysitters. (Everyone wants to look after the baby but the party is failing miserable and Dammon is giving them babysitter lessons because Karlach is also pregnant and is lending Dadstarion Clive til her baby is coming. Opa Ketheric is always babysitter of the month, but surprisingly closed followed by the ghoul and bhaal assassins. Father bhaal is not really welcome but Sceleritas of course!)
Needless to say we still have a vacation home at Baldur's Gate and coming back there with a little family of four children (five! Owl bear child not to forget!)
When we are walking through the city, we do it in single file and every child (also the owlbear cub of course!) is holding the tail of the sibling in front, so no one is getting lost in the big city. One child do not have a tail, because it is more elfish than the rest, but he is wearing a costume tail to be part of it and he insists that Papa Astarion is also wearing a fake one, so that they are all similar.
Astarion and I always must pay reparations, because the owlbear cub grew to like rose pedals at the wedding and now it destroys the gardens at Baldur's Gate.
I perform dirty limericks and funny songs about our friends and adventures at the Elfsong Tavern. And especially by the order of Lord Gortash many songs about Dragons(born).
Yeah almost everyone is alive (come on it is fiction, it is fun, it is fan made, give me the all fluff and happy ending)
Astarion and the party are the bouncers so everyone must watch the whole concert. Yes Astarion supports everything his wife does! The stupider, the better. And because as the only one he is wearing earplugs.”

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Chapter 9 ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙
The night was a cacophony of chaos and power as Shinjuku was engulfed in the clashing energies of sorcerers and curses. Above the skyline, Gojo engaged Sukuna in a battle that seemed to tear at the very fabric of reality. His mission was clear: keep Sukuna away from Sarah and minimize the collateral damage to the bustling district below.
On the ground, the situation was no less dire. Okkotsu, Hakari, Itadori, and Geto were locked in a desperate struggle against Mahoraga, a fearsome shikigami known for its adaptive abilities and relentless strength. Their objective was to hold the beast at bay until sunrise, a deadline that felt like an eternity under the circumstances.
Okkotsu, with his mastery over Rika, the Queen of Curses, led the charge. "We can't let up for even a second," he shouted, as Rika's massive form pummeled Mahoraga with raw, cursed energy. The shikigami roared, its body shifting and adapting to the attacks.
Hakari, sweat glistening on his brow, activated his domain expansion, Immortal Gambler, rolling the dice to bring forth his full power. "We just need to keep it busy, right?" he yelled over the din, his eyes scanning for an opening to exploit.
Itadori, fists clenched and determination burning in his eyes, launched himself at Mahoraga, his movements a blur of speed and precision. "No matter what, we can't let it get past us!" he declared, his voice resolute. The force of his punches reverberated through the night, each impact buying precious seconds.
Geto stood a short distance away, his eyes narrowing as he summoned a torrent of cursed spirits to swarm Mahoraga. "Stay focused, everyone," he instructed, his voice calm yet commanding. "We need to anticipate its adaptations and outmaneuver it."
Above, the sky was a dazzling display of blue and red, as Gojo and Sukuna clashed with such intensity that the air itself seemed to crackle with energy.
The minutes dragged on, each one feeling like an hour. Okkotsu's Rika clashed with Mahoraga, their titanic struggle sending shockwaves through the air. Hakari's domain flickered and pulsed, his power surging with each roll of the dice. Itadori fought with the ferocity of a cornered animal, his fists a blur of relentless strikes. Geto's cursed spirits swirled around Mahoraga, their collective force a formidable barrier.
But Mahoraga was relentless, its adaptive abilities making it a foe that seemed almost invincible. Just as it began to overpower Okkotsu, Hakari struck it hard enough to cause it to falter. Itadori seized the moment, landing a second powerful blow that sent the shikigami reeling. Geto's cursed spirits swarmed it, binding it in place.
Okkotsu nodded to Geto, "Go. We'll handle things here."
With a final nod, Geto took off through the city, his form a blur as he leaped from rooftop to rooftop, his mind racing. As he approached the Zen'in stronghold, Geto saw the chaos below. The clan members were locked in fierce combat with countless curses, their techniques lighting up the darkened streets. Leading the charge was Maki Zen'in, her cursed tools flashing as she cut through the enemy ranks with precision and ferocity.
"Maki!" Geto called out, landing beside her. "How are things holding up?"
Maki, her face grim and streaked with sweat, spared him a quick glance. "We've been better. The curses are relentless, but we're managing. What brings you here?"
"I need to collect the Prison Realm from Megumi," Geto explained, his eyes scanning the battlefield. "We can't afford to lose it."
Maki nodded, understanding the urgency. "Megumi's inside, holding off some of the stronger curses. Follow me."
They fought their way through the throngs of curses, reaching a fortified building where Megumi stood amidst a swirl of shadows and shikigami. His expression was one of intense concentration as he manipulated his techniques to fend off the attacking curses.
"Megumi!" Geto called out, drawing the younger sorcerer's attention. "I need the Prison Realm."
Megumi nodded, his shikigami momentarily dispersing as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a small, intricately carved box. "Here," he said, handing it to Geto. "Be careful with it."
"I know," Geto replied, taking the Prison Realm with a grateful nod. "Thank you."
With the Prison Realm secure, Geto turned to leave but paused, looking back at Maki and Megumi. "Hold the line here. I'll be back as soon as I can."
"Go," Maki urged, her eyes fierce. "We'll manage."
Geto took off again, his path now leading him toward the location where he was to meet with Sarah. He moved swiftly, the city a blur around him as he navigated the war-torn streets.
As Geto navigated the chaotic streets, he stumbled upon another fierce battle. The Kamo were engaged in their own struggle against the curses overrunning Shinjuku. The scene was a blur of cursed techniques and monstrous figures, the air thick with the scent of blood and the sounds of combat.
Geto's eyes narrowed as he saw the familiar figure of Noritoshi Kamo, leading his clan members with precision and ruthless efficiency. But it was clear they were being overwhelmed, the sheer number of curses threatening to break their lines.
Geto leaped into the midst of the battle, his presence immediately felt as he unleashed a torrent of cursed spirits, their combined might bolstering the Kamo clan's defenses. Noritoshi glanced at Geto, a brief look of relief crossing his features before he focused back on the battle.
"Geto, we could use the help!" Noritoshi shouted, his voice strained as he launched a barrage of blood arrows at the advancing curses.
"Hold the line!" Geto called back, his cursed spirits swarming over the enemies. "We can't let them breach this area!"
For several intense minutes, Geto fought alongside the Kamo clan, his cursed techniques weaving through the battlefield with lethal efficiency. But he couldn't shake the nagging urgency at the back of his mind—he needed to get the Prison Realm to its destination.
Just then, he saw a familiar figure slicing through the ranks of curses with a brutal efficiency that was unmistakable. Nanami Kento, with his unyielding determination and precise strikes, was carving a path through the chaos.
"Nanami!" Geto shouted over the noise, catching the older sorcerer's attention. "I need you to do something for me!"
Nanami dispatched another curse before turning to Geto. "What is it?"
"I have the Prison Realm," Geto said, holding up the box. "I need to get it to the others, but I can't leave until I've helped here. Can you run ahead and warn them I'll be a bit late? Tell them to hold on as best they can."
Nanami's eyes flicked to the Prison Realm, understanding the significance. He nodded, his expression serious. "Understood. I'll relay the message. Stay safe, Geto."
With that, Nanami dashed off into the night, his form disappearing amidst the chaos. Geto turned back to the battle, his resolve steeling as he redoubled his efforts. The Kamo clan, bolstered by his presence, began to push back the tide of curses.
"Let's finish this!" Geto shouted, his cursed spirits converging in a powerful, coordinated attack. Noritoshi and the other clan members followed suit, their combined efforts finally breaking the curse's advance.
As the last of the curses fell, the battlefield grew eerily quiet. Geto took a moment to catch his breath, his eyes scanning the area for any remaining threats. Noritoshi approached him, gratitude evident in his eyes.
"Thank you, Geto," he said, his voice sincere. "We wouldn't have held out without your help."
Geto nodded, already turning to leave. "No time for thanks. There's still more to do."
━─┉┈◈❖◈┈┉─━
The moon hung low and full, casting a pallid glow upon the landscape below. Atop the grand staircase of black marble into Tenjiku, Sarah stood alone, her silhouette stark against the silvery night.
She waited, knowing what was to come. The air was thick with the weight of inevitability, pressing down upon her shoulders like an invisible cloak. Her heart thrummed with a mix of dread and determination, each beat echoing in the hollow silence. She hadn't chosen this fate; it had been thrust upon her by those who whispered lies and wove deceitful promises. She despised them, the ones who had placed her in this position, but now she stood resolute, a guardian of the power she never sought.
From the shadows, a presence began to materialize, a dark and twisted aura that sent shivers down her spine. The King of Curses was approaching. His very essence seemed to warp reality, bending light and shadow to his will. His four eyes glowed with a malevolent fire, burning with a hunger for what had been taken from him.
"You stand in my way, little thief," his voice was a deep, resonant growl, reverberating through the still night air. "Return what is mine, and perhaps I will spare you."
Sarah clenched her fists, feeling the surge of power within her, the stolen essence that now intertwined with her own. She did not want it, yet it was a part of her, and she knew that relinquishing it would mean more than just her own demise. Those she loved, those she had sworn to protect, would be left vulnerable to Sukuna's wrath.
"Eat shit, Sukuna," she replied, her voice steady despite the fear that coiled in her chest. "It's mine now and a monster like you can't have it back."
Sukuna's laughter echoed through the night, a sound devoid of warmth or joy. He took a step closer, his form towering and menacing. "Brave words for one so fragile. Do you truly believe you can stand against me?"
She did not answer with words but with action, summoning the power within her. The air crackled with energy as she reached behind her to her scar, the stolen power manifesting as a long curved silver sword. It pulsed with an ethereal light, a beacon of defiance in the face of overwhelming darkness.
Sukuna's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing with disdain. "So be it," he snarled, raising his own hands, tendrils of cursed energy unfurling from his fingers. They lashed out like serpents, striking against her with a force that shook the very ground beneath them.
Sarah gritted her teeth, holding firm against the assault. She could feel the strain, the cursed energy within her struggling to maintain the defense of her body. But she would not falter. She could not. For the sake of those she loved, she would stand her ground, even if it meant facing the King of Curses himself.
Sarah gritted her teeth, her resolve hardening as she recalled the plan she had reluctantly agreed to. The power coursing through her veins was not hers to wield, but she would use it to buy herself time. She couldn't face Sukuna alone for long, but she didn't have to.
A sudden shift in the atmosphere signaled the arrival of her ally. In a flash of light, Gojo appeared between her and Sukuna, his presence radiating confidence and power. His blindfolded eyes turned towards her, giving a slight nod.
"Run, Sarah," Gojo commanded, his voice calm and unwavering.
Without hesitation, Sarah turned and sprinted down the marble staircase, her feet barely touching the steps as she descended. Behind her, she could hear the clash of immense energies as Gojo engaged Sukuna, his limitless techniques creating a formidable barrier.
Sukuna's roar of frustration echoed through the night, but Sarah did not look back. She trusted Gojo to keep Sukuna at bay long enough for her to reach her next destination. The plan had now transformed into a dangerous game of cat and mouse, with her life and the lives of those she loved hanging in the balance.
The path ahead in Shinjuku was a maze of twisting corridors and hidden passages. Sarah's breaths came in short, rapid bursts as she navigated the city, her heart pounding in her chest. Every shadow seemed to hide a threat, every whisper of wind a warning. She pushed herself harder, knowing that every second counted.
Finally, she burst into a clearing, where Todo waited. His imposing figure was a reassuring sight, his presence a stark contrast to the darkness surrounding them. His eyes met hers, and a grin spread across his face.
"Ready for some fun?" Todo asked, cracking his knuckles.
"More like ready to survive," Sarah replied, her voice tinged with exhaustion but also with determination.
Todo's expression grew serious. "Stick to the plan. I'll cover you from here."
Sarah nodded, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of Sukuna or his minions. She knew that Gojo wouldn't be able to hold Sukuna forever, and she had to keep moving. Todo's strength and abilities would be her next shield, allowing her to press forward.
As she continued her flight, she could hear the distant sounds of battle, the earth trembling under the force of the clashes. She felt a pang of guilt for leaving Gojo and Todo to face Sukuna, but she knew that this was the only way. They had chosen to protect her, to give her the chance to keep the stolen power away from Sukuna's grasp.
Sarah continued her sprint through the bustling streets of Shinjuku, her surroundings a blur as she focused on her goal. The neon lights and chaotic noise of the city contrasted sharply with the desperate urgency of her mission. She spotted Rin and Boe waiting in the shadows of an alleyway, their eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of her.
"Sarah!" Rin called out as she approached, her eyes gleaming with a predatory light. Her nails were already elongating into sharp claws, and her teeth were sharpening into fangs.
"Boe, Rin," Sarah panted, catching her breath. "Sukuna is likely still fighting Gojo. We don't have much time."
Boe nodded, her expression determined. She extended her hand, and droplets of her blood began to form into razor-sharp blades, glinting ominously in the dim light. "We need to keep moving. Todo is holding the line with the curses, but we can't let Sukuna get any closer."
Rin placed a reassuring hand on Sarah's shoulder. "Stay here, Sarah. Geto will be here soon. He'll take you to safety. We'll join Todo and make sure Sukuna doesn't get past us."
"Be careful," Sarah urged, her eyes filled with concern.
Rin gave her a fierce smile. "Don't worry about us. Just make sure you stay safe."
With that, Rin and Boe turned and disappeared into the night, their figures quickly melding with the shadows as they headed towards the battlefield. Sarah watched them go, a mix of anxiety and gratitude churning within her. She knew they were strong, but Sukuna was a formidable enemy.
She leaned against the wall, trying to steady her breathing and her racing heart. The sounds of the city seemed distant, muffled by the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Minutes felt like hours as she waited, every second stretching out painfully.
Finally, she heard a familiar voice. "Sarah, over here."
She turned to see Nanami approaching, his expression calm but urgent. "We need to move quickly. Geto is on his way but he's running behind."
Sarah nodded, pushing herself off the wall. "Let's go."
Nanami led her through a series of backstreets and hidden pathways, his knowledge of the city proving invaluable. As they moved, Sarah couldn't help but glance back, her thoughts with Todo, Rin, and Boe. She knew the fight they faced was monumental, but she also knew they were some of the strongest allies she could have.
Sarah's heart pounded as she ran, but suddenly, a chilling presence surged behind her. She glanced back to see Sukuna, his malevolent grin widening as he closed the distance. He raised his hand, his cursed technique slicing through the buildings around them. Shards of concrete and steel rained down, and Sarah leaped through the rubble, her movements swift and desperate.
She vaulted over debris and even propelled herself upward, using the fragments as footholds to avoid Sukuna's relentless attacks. Her breath came in ragged gasps, and she could feel the sting of minor cuts and bruises, but she pushed on, driven by sheer willpower.
Just as Sukuna's attack closed in, a familiar flash of light appeared between them. Gojo materialized, his expression calm and composed, and he intercepted the strike meant for Sarah. The impact sent shockwaves through the area, but Gojo's Limitless Technique held firm.
"Nice timing," Sarah managed to gasp, relief flooding through her.
"Couldn't let you have all the fun," Gojo replied with a smirk. "Let's give him a fight he won't forget."
Sarah nodded, her resolve hardening. She focused inward, feeling the cursed energy within her. The cursed scar on her back burned as she summoned her power, and from the scar, she pulled out gleaming silver blades, each one infused with her determination and anger.
Together, she and Gojo faced Sukuna, the air crackling with energy. Sukuna's eyes narrowed, his grin faltering for just a moment. "You think you can stand against me?" he taunted.
"We'll do more than that," Gojo retorted, his voice steady and confident.
The battle erupted into chaos, a whirlwind of clashing energies and fierce attacks. Sarah moved with precision, her silver blades slicing through the air as she fought alongside Gojo. His techniques created barriers and distortions, providing her with openings to strike.
Sukuna's power was overwhelming, but together, they managed to hold their ground. Sarah's blades cut through the shadows, each strike fueled by her determination to protect those she loved. Gojo's presence was a reassuring anchor, his strength and skill a constant support.
For a while, it seemed they might have a chance. They worked in perfect synchrony, each movement calculated and precise. But Sukuna's rage grew, his attacks becoming more frenzied and powerful. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the air grew thick with the scent of blood and destruction.
"We can't keep this up forever," Sarah thought, her mind racing as she searched for a way to turn the tide.
Gojo, sensing her thoughts, glanced at her. "We just need to hold him off a little longer. Trust me."
Sarah nodded, tightening her grip on her blades.
Sarah and Gojo fought side by side, their movements synchronized in a deadly dance. As the battle raged on, Sarah knew she needed to do more to tip the scales in their favor. Channeling her cursed energy, she summoned her legion of skeletal warriors from the depths of her cursed scar.
"Rise," she commanded, her voice steady and commanding. "Fight with me!"
The skeletons surged forward, their bony hands wielding weapons of shadow and flame. They attacked Sukuna with relentless ferocity, their strikes coordinated under Sarah's control. Gojo, used their presence to keep the pressure on Sukuna, his limitless techniques creating openings for the skeletal warriors to exploit.
Sukuna snarled, his eyes blazing with fury as he fended off the relentless assault. "You think these puppets can stop me?" he roared, his voice echoing with malevolence.
Sarah's eyes flashed with determination. "They won't stop you, but they will slow you down."
As she commanded her skeletal army, Sarah couldn't help but remember the conversations with her allies. They had been cryptic about the plan, and now she understood why. She held a fragment of Sukuna's power, and if he could read her thoughts, knowing the plan would be a liability.
"Just trust us," Rin had said. "We'll keep the plan from you for a reason."
Sarah glanced at Gojo, who was fending off Sukuna's attacks with his usual ease, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. He was always so confident, so sure of himself. She knew he had a plan, even if she wasn't privy to it. She had to trust him, just as she trusted the others.
Gojo's voice broke through her thoughts. "Keep him busy, Sarah. Just a little longer."
She nodded, redoubling her efforts. Her skeletal warriors swarmed Sukuna, their strikes relentless. Gojo moved with fluid grace, his techniques creating barriers and distortions that kept Sukuna off balance. For a moment, it felt like they might actually have a chance.
Sukuna's rage grew, his attacks becoming more brutal. The ground trembled beneath them, and the air crackled with energy. Sarah's heart pounded, but she pushed through her fear. She had to trust in the plan, in her friends and in Gojo.
"Now, Sarah!" Gojo suddenly shouted.
Without hesitation, Sarah called upon every ounce of her strength, her skeletal warriors launching a coordinated attack. Gojo moved in tandem, his technique amplifying their strikes. Sukuna was momentarily overwhelmed, his defenses faltering.
Gojo's hand lifted, his fingers crossed. "Infinite Void!"
The world seemed to warp and bend, reality itself distorting as Gojo unleashed his domain expansion. Sukuna was caught in the trap, his movements slowing as he struggled against the overwhelming force.
"Now!" Gojo urged.
With a fierce cry, Sarah directed her skeletal warriors in a final, all-out assault. The black bones and hellfire eyes of her minions surged forward, striking at Sukuna with a coordinated fury. Gojo's domain held him in place, and for a brief moment, they had the upper hand.
But Sukuna's power was vast, and he roared with fury, breaking free from the grip of Gojo's technique. He lashed out, but the damage was done. Sarah and Gojo had managed to slow him down, to buy precious time.
Suddenly, in a blur of motion, Sukuna broke through their defenses and grabbed Sarah with three of his arms. His grip was like iron, and Sarah gasped as she felt his immense strength. Gojo's eyes widened in shock, his usual composure slipping as he saw Sukuna holding Sarah so close.
"Sarah!" Gojo shouted, his voice filled with urgency.
Sukuna laughed madly, a chilling sound that echoed through the battlefield. "You thought you could challenge me? Pathetic," he sneered, his eyes gleaming with malice. He began to tear at Sarah's arm and thigh, his nails digging into her flesh. She cried out in pain, struggling against his hold.
She gasped, her vision blurring from the agony.
Gojo moved to intervene, but Sukuna's voice stopped him cold. "Take another step, and I will kill her," Sukuna warned, his tone deadly serious. He tightened his grip on Sarah, making her wince in pain. "You don't want to test me, Gojo."
Gojo froze, his mind racing. He knew Sukuna wasn't bluffing; he would kill Sarah without hesitation. But he couldn't just stand there and do nothing. His eyes flickered with frustration and desperation as he tried to find a way to save her.
"Sarah, hang on," he said, his voice shaking with the effort to remain calm. "I'm going to get you out of this."
Sukuna chuckled darkly, enjoying their helplessness. "Such touching words, Gojo. But they won't save her. The power she holds belongs to me, and I will take it back."
Sarah struggled against Sukuna's hold, trying to summon the strength to fight back. Her mind raced as she thought of the others, fighting to protect her and the world from Sukuna's wrath. She couldn't let them down.
"Let her go," Gojo demanded, his voice hardening. "If you want power, take it from me."
Sukuna's eyes narrowed, considering Gojo's words. "Tempting offer, but no. Watching you suffer is far more enjoyable."
Gojo's fists clenched, his cursed energy crackling around him. He knew he had to do something, anything, to save Sarah. He couldn't let Sukuna win. But he also couldn't risk her life by making a reckless move.
"You're not going to win," she spat, glaring up at Sukuna. "I won't let you."
As Gojo and Sukuna were at a standstill, a sudden shift in the atmosphere caught Gojo's attention. Without a word spoken, he sensed the arrival of someone else amidst the chaos of battle. Geto, disguised within the presence of a powerful cursed spirit, approached quietly but purposefully.
Gojo's eyes narrowed slightly as he recognized his best friend's familiar aura, hidden beneath the facade of the spirit. Geto's presence was a sign that their plan was finally coming together.
As Gojo took cautious steps towards Sukuna, Geto moved swiftly behind the king of curses, his movements masked by the ongoing chaos. With a precise gesture, Geto placed down the small cube and opened the prison realm behind Sukuna, a dimension where even the King of Curses would have no means of escape.
Sarah struggled against Sukuna's grip, her grunts of agony echoing through the empty alley. His fingers dug into her flesh like iron claws, refusing to release their vice-like hold. With a snarl, Sukuna tore at her arm, drawing blood that shimmered with cursed energy.
"Let me go you bastard!" Sarah gritted, but Sukuna's dark laughter drowned out her cries. His crimson eyes glinted with sadistic delight.
"You belong to me now," Sukuna growled, his voice sending chills down Sarah's spine.
But the prison realm completed its time restriction. The tendrils of flesh gripping around his four arms and body in a whipping motion. He gasped, his fingers digging in harder to Sarah's bicep and thigh even as the flesh wrapped around and bound them together.
"Fuck!" Gojo shouted, he and Geto moved closer to inspect the damage.
Sukuna grinned, "Well well well. Isn't this interesting?"
Sarah tugged and yanked at her arm and leg, but they were completely immobilized by his grip and the winding flesh of the prison realm. She looked up at Gojo and then Geto.
"What do we do?" Geto mumbled, "We... We can't close it... She-"
"She'd be crushed." Sukuna chuckled, "So? What will you do?"
"Cut them off." Sarah huffed, "Just do it. It's worth it to know he's locked away."
"But you... You'd..." Gojo choked on his words, "You can't be serious- We can find another way!"
"How long do you think that shit will hold him?" She growled, "Don't be a bitch. Just cut them off. Take a sword from my..." Her voice trailed off. Her cursed technique wasn't activating. "Fuck... It's the--"
"That's right, girl." Sukuna smirked, "The prison realm negates cursed techniques."
Her teeth grinded as she looked up at Geto, "Come on. Gojo's not gonna do it. Help me."
"What do you want me to do?" Geto asked, his voice unwavering and calm.
Sarah stepped as far away from Sukuna as she could, then reached to hold onto Geto's arm, "Close it. Whatever I lose, I lose."
"Don't be stupid!" Gojo's breathless cry echoed in the alley, "You-- That's gonna be more than just your arm and leg if you--"
"Satoru." She said sharply, the use of his first name catching him wildly off guard. He stared at her as she reached out for him next, "Hurry up. We don't have time for this. You need to help Geto."
Gojo swallowed thickly, looking over her trapped body. He found a good grip on her waist and hip, "... Close it."
Geto nodded, "Gate. Close."
As the gate slowly closed, Sukuna's maniacal laughter echoed through the air. Sarah struggled to control her breathing, the weight of the gate's stone squares bearing down on her. Gojo and Geto gripped her tightly, pulling her away from the closing gate with all their strength. With one last brutal pull, they managed to tear her away. The atmosphere crackled with dark energy as Sukuna disappeared into the prison realm, leaving behind an eerie silence.
Gojo wasted no time and immediately started spriting towards Tenjiku, carrying what was left of Sarah's barely conscious body. Her breathing was shallow and rapid, but she was hanging on. He avoided looking at her, feeling his stomach churn with anxiety.
"It's okay, baby. It's okay, sweetheart." He mumbled to her, desperate to keep her awake, "It's gonna be okay. It's alright. It's gonna be fine. I've got you. I've got you, alright? Just keep breathing, okay? Just keep breathing. Can you do that for me? I need you... I need you-- to keep breathing."

Breaking News: Overnight Chaos in Shinjuku – Sorcerers and Mysterious Creatures Clash, City in Turmoil
Shinjuku, Tokyo – In an unprecedented and alarming turn of events, Shinjuku was plunged into chaos last night as a series of violent confrontations erupted between a group of sorcerers and mysterious entities that residents have come to know as curses. The city, known for its vibrant nightlife and bustling streets, became a battleground, leaving many questions unanswered and citizens in fear.
Eyewitnesses report that the conflict began when a group of sorcerers, including the infamous and controversial Satoru Gojo, engaged in a high-stakes battle with an unknown but incredibly powerful entity identified by some sources as "Sukuna." The confrontation quickly escalated, resulting in widespread destruction and panic among the residents.
Throughout the night, other sorcerers were seen fighting against what appeared to be a variety of monstrous creatures. Among them were notable figures such as Yuta Okkotsu, Hakari Kinji, and Yuji Itadori. The motives behind their actions remain unclear, but many in the community are questioning the necessity and the recklessness of their approach.
Local citizens, many of whom are familiar with the presence of curses in their daily lives, expressed their frustration and fear. "These sorcerers act like they own the city," said one resident. "They come in with their flashy powers and destroy everything, and we're left to pick up the pieces. The curses were here first; they're part of our world too."
As dawn broke over Shinjuku, the battles subsided, but the damage was done. Buildings were left in ruins, streets were littered with debris, and the community was shaken. Many residents are calling for a thorough investigation into the actions of these sorcerers and the true nature of the curses.
City officials have yet to release an official statement, but public sentiment is growing increasingly critical of the sorcerers. "We need answers," said another resident. "These sorcerers are like vigilantes, acting without any oversight. We deserve to know why our city was turned into a war zone."
As the cleanup begins and the authorities work to restore order, the people of Shinjuku are left grappling with the aftermath of a night filled with terror and confusion. The true motivations and consequences of the sorcerers' actions remain shrouded in mystery, leaving a community divided and demanding accountability.

National Chili Day
A hearty meal full of beans and savory meat, topped off with sour cream, cheese, and diced onions — warm, spicy comfort.
Some like it hot, some like it mild, some like it on top of a baked potato and some prefer it with or without beans – but however it is most appreciated, National Chili Day is the perfect excuse for millions of spicy food fans all around the world to chow down on a bowl of this delicious fiery favorite.
History of National Chili Day
Though many people believe chili originated purely in Mexico, modern thinking suggests that it was probably truly created in Texas and is a blend of Native American, Spanish, and Mexican cuisines. This claim is supported by the fact that the first-ever written reference to chili occurred in the city of San Antonio, Texas in 1828. This is just one of the many delicious varieties of food that fall into the category of Tex-Mex.
However, one legend dates chili back a little further, stating that some immigrants who came from the Canary Islands brought the recipe with them to San Antonio when they settled there in the 1700s. This was before the name “chili” came to be and it was simply referred to as “Spanish stew”.
Eventually, by the 1880s, a popular way to eat the dish in San Antonio was by picking up a “bowl o’ red” at a chili stand in an open-air stall, usually run by a “chili queen”. The popularity of chili began to spread throughout the US, and it was given a huge boost when it was featured at the 1893 World’s Fair which took place in Chicago, Illinois.
The dish that is now known as simply “chili” has, in the past, often been referred to as “chili con carne”, which just means chili with meat. Of course, today, many people make it without meat, and it can easily even be made into a vegan dish with no animal products of any kind.
Some people do tend to spell it differently, depending on where they are from. Most Americans will include only one “l” in the word, while some British folks and people from other parts of the world may add an additional letter to spell it “chilli”. But no matter how it is spelled, this is certainly a tasty dish that is worthy of celebration!
National Chili Day Timeline
1828
First written description of Chili
J. C. Clopper writes, after visiting San Antonio, Texas, about “a kind of hash with nearly as many peppers as there are pieces of meat – this is all stewed together.”
1880s
Chili stands become popular in San Antonio
Women who are called “Chili Queens” set up trailers or carts to serve spicy bowls of beans and meat (chili con carne) to workers and passersby on the street, where small tables, seats and lanterns were set up. These last until the 1930s when the health department shuts them down.
1896
Chili powder is invented in Texas
German immigrant William Gebhardt creates a way to pulverize dried chiles using a meat grinder, which eventually becomes the product known as Gebhardt’s Eagle Chili Powder. It’s a critical ingredient in Chili.
1960s
An American president loves chili
Lydon Johnson, president of the United States from 1963-1969, declares that Texas Chili is the best: “One of the first things I do when I get home to Texas is to have a bowl of red. There is simply nothing better.”
1977
Chili becomes the state dish of Texas
As the continuation of its association with Texas, the state’s legislature names Chili the state dish.
How to Celebrate National Chili Day
Though not an official public holiday, National Chili Day is widely celebrated with many restaurants offering free samples of their own unique recipes. Others mark the day with a huge chili party for family and friends – or simply make sure they have a big bowl of chili for lunch!
Try out these fun ideas for celebrating the day:
Make a Big Pot of Chili
Even people who don’t really do much cooking can make a pot of chili to enjoy with a whole group of friends. It really is one of those meals that allows pretty much everything to be thrown into a pot and simmered while the flavors meld together.
A classic chilli recipe usually consists of a protein (often meat as well as beans), some sauce (usually tomato sauce), some veggies (corn, onion and diced tomatoes are typical) and spices for flavor (chili powder, garlic, cayenne pepper, onion powder and paprika). Toss in some jalapenos or other chili peppers for a little bit of kick. Let the whole thing simmer for a while and enjoy!
Learn Some Fun Facts About Chili
Celebrate the day and impress friends by spouting off interesting tidbits about this delicious dish. Get started with these, and then do a bit of internet research to add in a few more, just for fun:
Lyndon B. Johnson, United States President from 1963-1969, was a huge lover of chili and named his favorite recipe after his ranch in Texas, Pedernales River Chili. Americans were so fond of it that his wife, Lady Bird Johnson, had the recipe printed up on cards and mailed out from the White House.
In 1977, lobbyists worked to convince the state legislature to call chilli the official state food of Texas.
In the late 1890s, it was possible to buy a bowl of chili off of the back of a wagon for a mere 5 cents. This even came with an unlimited number of crackers to go along with it–and usually a glass of water too.
The first chili cook-off is recorded to have taken place in 1952 at the State Fair of Texas located in Dallas. But another story says that the first one took place in 1967 in Terlingua, Texas, where no winner was declared–as it was a tie between a native Texan and a person from New York!
Enjoy a Chili Contest
Chili is a food that people love to gather around–and it’s great for competing too! Whether participating in a chili cookoff that pits top chefs against each other, or a chili-eating contest where the winner consumes the most chili in a short amount of time, this is a dish that can be filled with fun.
Today’s chili cook offs can get pretty serious, where contestants often use ingredients that will help them to create the most intense flavor possible. They also try to be unique, using interesting meats such as sausage, turkey or even venison, as well accessing a variety of chili peppers to create just the right amount of heat.
Get into the competitive spirit by participating, or just enjoy watching and rooting for a favorite person to win. Can’t find a chili contest in the local area? Don’t let that get in the way–go ahead and start one in honor of National Chili Day!
Get Creative with Chili Recipes
Getting involved in this day can be a delightful culinary experience! Take things far beyond the ordinary by including unique and interesting ingredients into that pot of chili. While the classic recipes are certainly amazing, these types of ideas get things moving to a whole other level:
Chorizo Sweet Potato Chili. Give that pot of chili a delightful twist using a paleo friendly recipe that is a quick fix (can be on the table in around 30 minutes!). Chopped vegetables and some spicy chorizo sausage are flavors that meld together deliciously.
Short Rib Black Bean Chili. Beginning with short ribs as the protein base, this chili is slow cooked with the bones to add tons of flavor and depth. Mildly spicy, the black beans round out the taste into something delightfully delicious.
Spicy Chocolate Chili (Vegan). Sweet potatoes, maple syrup and cocoa powder work together in this recipe in a surprising way. Filled with beans and veggies, then topped with cilantro, lime and pumpkin seeds, this unique recipe will keep the whole family coming back for more!
Kale and Barley Chili. Keep things super healthy with this chili that is filled with healthy greens. Add some white beans in for extra protein and bulk!

National Chili Day is observed on the fourth Thursday of February, which is the perfect time of year to enjoy a spicy bowl of deliciousness.
Where was Chili invented?
Most likely, the origins of the dish known today as chili came from the southwestern parts of the United States, particularly Texas. Some stories say that the idea was brought from the Canary Islands in the 1700s.
Is Chili a soup?
Because it doesn’t usually use stock or broth, Chili isn’t necessarily considered to be a soup. Actually, it would be considered to be more of a stew because it is thicker, with a more solid base.
Is Chili healthy?
Depending on how it is made, Chili can be a rather healthy meal. It contains nutrients such as protein, fiber, iron, Vitamin C and more. Of course, it’s healthier if it is made with lean meat and less fat.
How to make Chili?
Most Chili recipes will include the basic ingredients of ground beef, beans, onions, tomato sauce, spices and tomatoes. The ingredients are cooked together for some time to allow the flavors to meld together.
