Riiver Brukes has been making waves her way. Scottish-born and currently Canadian, Riiver Brukes is a prime example of natural raw talent. Her unusual gritty and soulful voice brings a powerful edge to some amazing hook-laden songs and is influenced by a broad spectrum of genres and artists, but especially her passion for jazz and Blues. Rising through a foundation built from various bands including pop band Cicero, Edinburgh’s very own Riiver Brukes releases her first solo album, ‘Reformed Soul’. Music that oozes nothing less than the attitude, character and soul of this Scottish Lassie.

Seriously? Pag? Pag played my guitar on its first day in public? How cool is that? He was the first Canadian artist to chart top 40 in both English and French and, as a kid, he was my introduction to the whole idea of what is called in Quebec, "l'attitude Rock". He is the coolest. Wanna see how cool he is? Check out this commercial he did for the #Ultramar gas stations: https://youtu.be/RdAyZZrEy3Y⠀ ⠀ So seeing him with Voyageur was a pretty cool experience for me. Almost as cool was that I bumped into him in a hotel bar in Winnipeg sitting with my old pal Colin Linden and CBC broadcaster Jim Corcoran and then a few years later me and my friend Richard Davis were in Montreal looking for tucked away joints with local brew and who did we end up sitting with at the bar?!?⠀ ⠀ You'll find him rockin' it live at the Festival Retro in Joly, Quebec on July 26th.⠀ ⠀ Find out more about the Six String Nation project and book a live presentation at https://www.sixstringnation.com⠀ ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #CanadaDay #CanadianHistory #CanEd #CanadianMusic #SocialStudies #quebecmusic #CanadianGuitar #acousticguitar #parliamenthill #CanadianTeachers #TruthAndReconciliation #keynotespeaker #newfoundlandlabrador #novascotia⠀ #princeedwardisland #newbrunswick #quebec #ontario #manitoba #saskatchewan #alberta #britishcolumbia #yukon #northwestterritories #nunavut #VoiceEd #livemusic #michelpagliaro via Instagram https://ift.tt/2xug4B7

Although French by birth and now living in Switzerland, Félix has built a strong fanbase in the UK scene. This brings him to play more over here than in his native lands. He was, for example, the winner of the 2020 Giants of Rock festival contest in Minehead. One thing that sets Félix Rabin apart from other artists and bands is his guitar techniques and skill, particularly when playing live on-stage with his bandmates. The line-up includes Félix Rabin - Lead singer, guitars & keys; Francesco Gagna – Guitars; Vincenzo Capodivento – Bass; and James Morgan – Drums. Félix and his band are known for their rigorous experimentation and on-stage testing, which makes seeing them “an inspirational, even transcendent, experience.” As All About the Rock reported on one of their shows.

Since the creation of the band in 2005 by Patrick Martin and Maxime Cormier, Reanimator dug an important place in the Quebec Metal scene. Offering an incendiary Thrash Metal dotted with old-school and new school element, these guys are ready to kick some asses. With their first album ''Thrashin' The Neighborhood’’ on Galy Records in 2007 the group established venomous stage appearances, which left no fan indifferent. Touring Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, they finally came up with their first full length album called ''Ignorance Is No Excuse'' in 2009, which will let them perform next to bands like Municipal Waste, Exodus, Martyr, Quo Vadis, Cauldron, Aggressor, Brutal Truth, Macabre, Neuraxis, Augury, Soothsayer, Cryptopsy etc.. After nearly an hundred shows, the band split in 2011... to finally come back in force in 2013 with a new line-up and a new EP entitled ''Great Balls''. That new formation is now formed by Patrick Martin (vocals) and Francis Labelle (drums), both original members of the band. With the addition of the frenetic playing of Fred Bizier on bass and the furious energy of Joel Racine and Ludovic Bastien shredding the guitars, Reanimator became stronger than ever and crossed the ocean to tour Eastern Europe in May 2014 to reach tons of new fans. A couple of months later Reanimator went to into the Studio with Jef Fortin to record their new LP "Horns Up" which will be released in June 2015. "Horns Up" got a lot of praising reviews and lot of airplay in independent radios around Canada and USA After years of touring and a global pandemic, the boys are back with a new album featuring Philippe Lemire on guitars.

With an infectious groove, a bassline reminiscent of Flea's signature style, and a catchy, bumper-sticker-worthy refrain, this song is poised to dominate summer playlists. After all, what's more essential than a pair of flip-flops in the summer, right? The song makes a compelling case for trying on a pair, and interestingly, Cannonball has no endorsement deal with any flip-flop brand—a testament to their wonderfully selfless nature!

“Le Futur M'Appelle” is a song by Charles Serret which expresses a desire for progression and discovery. Through imprinted words resolution, he describes his desire to move away from what is holding him back and to follow his own path.
Music then becomes a means of transcending doubts and obstacles, helping him move forward despite the challenges encountered along the way. It is an invitation to believe in yourself and your potential, to persevere and let oneself be guided by the call of the future.
