The most informative accounts are actually tumblr blogs tbh because there’s the word space to get in depth. I recommended several yuzu and general FS ones in my FAQ. 

As for twitter, I basically just recommend all my mutuals on twitter if you want stan twitter accounts for yuzu. most of them also stan other skaters and cover general FS memes/news/sarcastic humour/tea so I’m not going to pick favourites among them, I urge you to look at their accounts for yourself, they’re literally all my favourites. 

But I will share some of the people who share and tend to break news on their skaters on a more regular basis, especially non-yuzu focused accounts (I generally follow JP fans for key yuzu news and I don’t keep up with a lot of other skaters so this just who I personally follow and I consciously limit the number because I don’t like getting overwhelmed with my tlist)

yawning_shoma - the consummate shoma translator/stan/newsfeed extraordinaire

iguana012 - satton and machida stan who writes awesome tumblr guides to things

wakahfans - self explanatory

boyangjinfanpage - also self explanatory

quadlutzes - your resident nathan, satton and team usa stan, among others

doubleflutzes - the curiouscat queen for all things skating but please google your shit before you bother her and try to ask good questions

gina also answers a lot of questions on her curiouscat in admirable detail but if you’re gonna be rude or leave passive aggressive asks, don’t.

   a smirk, his lips wrapping around the bottle of vodka and taking a rather large shot. he doesn’t flinch as he sets it down– even if his throat was on fire. it felt more like a tickle by now.

  a rare good day. viktor gets special attention, an hour, maybe less, of yuuri’s time behind closed bedroom door. to most that would be something scandalous, a telling or a call out to something hot and frantic. yuuri is too fragile, too sore in the head and the heart for something like that. he doesn’t have the dignity or the strength to even toe the red string line, no matter how much time he’s wasted under the pure water of viktor’s digital eyes. it’s not a shame, a mere touch alone from such a person ⦅ or anyone ⦆ might send him reeling. the bare skin on someone even with the same blood as his underneath, he hasn't given such a precious moment to even them.

  who would want that though?

  yuuri is confined to the track line in his head, duty bound to keeping anyone else away from his ᴄᴀᴛᴀsᴛʀᴏᴘʜᴇ of a body, of a mindset. in the insults the mirror glass gives him, he’s reminded that it’s rude, so rude of him to have his back turned to an antique piece, like viktor’s whole world would be tainted and shattered if yuuri didn’t give him what look he deserved and what words he should be hearing. and then his head argues back, that the younger is already too damaged and too much of a mess and it’s already blackening the gold on the bottom of the king’s skates and turning them to rust. he can’t win. he’s an insult either way.

  yuuri, for all the sting in his lungs and all the invisible mars of shame across the paling inches of his skin, can barely apologize. instead, he begs.

  the shadow that’s starting to creep around the base of his stomach, the dip along his hip bones that are becoming so thin and lost against cotton band and body fat, disappears as he lets the folds of a too-large sweater hide what he’s been insulted for before. even by children, triplets who are too young to know their poison, leave wordy bruises on him, with ❛ pig ❜.

  he presses at the ridges on the bottom of the fabric, and feels shame in every thread.

      ❝ please don’t.....look at me, like this ❞

  he gets upset at the mirror, and pads socked feet back to his bedside, and clambers on. he tucks in his legs, and his hands get familiar with idle fidgeting together, and yuuri is fascinated by them. not by what he’s been enraptured by for years. not the other person in the room.

  sorry i’m not in the best shape. sorry i’m not what you came looking for.

  i’m sorry i couldn't be what you wanted me to be.
