The Dark Side of the Force had once been Qira's best friend, the only thing that mattered to her, the only thing she had ever known. That is, until she left her home. A fight with her father drove her away from him, away from her mother, seeking the truth behind everything she knew. This led to her discovery of the Grey Jedi.

Qira gathered as much artifacts and relics of Jedi and Sith alike, as well as any from the Grey Jedi themselves, leading her to years of training and eventual self isolation. She would not be a part of this fight unless absolutely needed, and was happy to be alone on her planet.

Then came Breha Solo, the struggling child of Leia and Han, her niece. Somehow she had found her planet, found where she was, and was now seemingly storming out of the ship that had landed. Perhaps it was about Anaisis, after all, she had become an absent daughter in the years of being alone. Perhaps it was about her abandonment of the Dark. Whatever the case, the woman stood in the doorway of her home, both her lightsabers hanging on either side of her belt.

When Qira Vader had shown up suddenly, looking not a day older than she had when she left, rumors started to go around. These did not bother the female, of course, she knew that it was the nature of these formal events. She had grown up watching her mother deal with some of the very same people from their younger days. It was nothing new.

Vibrant crimson eyes flickered to the female now on her arm, and a rare smile spread across her lips. She had begun to enjoy the company of the other, preferring solitary time much like Artemis Hux. While most of the women in the place wore jewels and sparkling dresses, Qira wore a quite handsome, albeit lavish, suit, she had never been one to fit in.

"I remember that from my days in the Empire. Mother always told me to be polite, despite how...insistent they were. Now they're terrified of me, and I prefer it that way."

The way people looked at her as they moved through the crowd denoted just how much they distrusted her and feared her. Even the redhead could feel the aura of the Dark Side radiating off the female. Pausing as they exited to the outdoor gardens, the atmosphere seemed to change around them, not nearly as stuffy or judgmental. Qira then turned, pressing her own soft lips to Artemis' cheek in return to the prior gesture.

"Better?" she asked, nodding to the less occupied area in front of them.
